Synopsis:	Jean, Vanessa and Kit converge in the kitchen for snacks, tea and talk of magic.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>It's mid afternoon and many students - and teachers too - are enjoying a nice lunch break from their studies or work. Jean has been feeling less and less like herself lately as migraines wrack her head..Its not quite bad enough to see a doctor, although she had visited the school nurse for some aspirin, but she is searching the kitchen for some camomile tea or anything else that might help, now that she is out of headache pills and the medbay is quite busy around this time of day.\<br\>\<br\>Unfortunately some prankster has rearranged some kitchen supplies and she is having trouble finding the tea..

Copycat has posed:\<br\>No words no nothing, Just a soft hand on the shoulders from a pale blue girl and a soft smile before she slides over a very hot cup of what is clearly tea. She also slides over the pot of honey with the proper spoon. She winks as she then goes back to working on making food for all the teachers looking for snacks.. Right now, she's making various finger foods so the teachers can just grab and go if they need to.. She also sends telepathically to jean <I can help if you want > .

Kit Killovarras has posed:\<br\>Curiosity killed the aardwolf. That's how the saying goes, right? Speaking of curious aardwolves, this is about the time a rather curious Kit pokes his head into the kitchen, having seen Jean enter. He studies her for a moment before he tilts his head and asks, "Looking for something?"\<br\>\<br\>Usually when trying to find something in the kitchen, it'd be pretty useful to have a super-snoot, but it can also have it's down sides in a kitchen.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey sighs, rubbing her temples, suddenly aware she is not alone. Not one to flaunt her powers, she is searching for tea in the old fashioned way rather than resort to laziness. Seeing Vanessa suddenly appearing next to her, she blinks, her thoughts elsewhere. "Vanessa, hello..When did you get there?" glancing at the team she chuckles, "Oh, for me? You read my mind.." No literally.\<br\>\<br\>Spying Kit next, she offers him another warm smile and nod, "Hello Kit, it has been too long, how have you been?" she nods and sighs, opening her arms to show him the disarrayed kitchen, "Looks like someone decided to play tricks on us, they put the teas where the spices should go, and the cereal is where the pots and pans live." really, she sounds too tired to be angry even.

Copycat has posed:\<br\>Copycat Sighs and nods " yeah, i'm fixing the place.. they did the kitchen and a class room, I caught them doing it to the galley and put a stop to it but they got this room already " she looks around " We'll have to fix it in a bit " \<br\>\<br\>     She throws some meat and veg into a pan starting to cook it .. Before grabbing a tub of old rice from the day before.. some eggs and Various items like soy sauce. Apparently she's gonna make egg fried rice.

Kit Killovarras has posed:\<br\>Kit gives a little chuckle and shakes his head, "Probably just one of the younger students being a pest.." he says with a smile. Then a wave of violet energy crackles over his fur and things begin to rearrange themselves seemingly of their own accord. "I'll have everything back in it's proper place in a moment." \<br\>\<br\>The question of how he's been? That gets a pause and a little grin as he admits, "Better lately, but I'm still sort of dealing with a personal mystery. How about you?"\<br\>\<br\>Vanessa gets a look and a warm smile from the yeen, his nose wiggling ever so slightly as he muses, "That already smells good." with a little chuckle.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey blows softly on the tea before taking a couple of cautious sips, not wanting to burn her tongue on the drink. "Thank you for the tea, Vanessa.." she smiles, taking a seat at the kitchen table, watching her thoughtfully as she works on some meal or other. "Honestly, I'm more bothered by why they did it than that they did..But I suppose rebels will be rebels. Just hope this migraine goes away soon..Makes it harder to deal with chaos."\<br\>\<br\>Usually such pranks would not bother her so much but..Kit is given another small smile although she arches a curious brow. "Thank you for doing that, Kit..What sort or mystery? Anything I can help with or..?" she doesn't mean to pry but is offering assistance if wanted.

Copycat has posed:\<br\>Copycat Beams a smile " I dunno how good I am but I did work in a bunch of kitchens and nobody said I had bad food " She chuckles " Though I'm a white... well blue girl who knows mostly Chinese and Japanese food " she shrugs as she puts down the stir fried veggies... She then starts up the fryer checking it before she nods.. the Oven door opens, and out comes a pan with some foil\<br\>\<br\>     She peels the foil to reveal several Pork that have been slow-cooked in a sauce.. Taking it out she starts to cut the Pork into steaks.. setting up a dredging station. "Figured.. stir fried veggies.. egg fried rice and pork tonkatsu sound good for a supper, right? " . She looks to jean " it's what you wanted for tea but I added some ginger it thins the blood good for headaches." She also pays attention to how he answers

Kit Killovarras has posed:\<br\>"Why does the color of your skin matter when it comes to the food you can make?" Kit asks with a quizzical look to Vanessa, cocking his head with a confused expression. Leave it to a relatively sheltered individual to not know the answer to that particular question.\<br\>\<br\>Jeans question about the mystery though gets the aardwolf to produce a little strip of green silk, nothing much more than a ribbon as he explains, "One of my dimensional alternates gave this to Jax to give to me, said it would help me learn a more useful aspect of my magic, but I haven't figured out quite how to use it yet.." with a bit of a sigh. "Most I've managed to figure out is that I can channel through it, but I haven't been able to figure out the right phase or polarity, if it's tied to a certain dimension and if I have to specifically draw from that one to use it or not and a few other odds and ends.." \<br\>\<br\>Yeah, when it comes to Kit's troubles, half the time it's something minor and the other half? It involves powers from other dimensions coalescing or competing. "So, probably not something most people would be able to help with, especially given that these type of relics are specifically keyed to their intended user."

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey sniffs the air and smiles, "Mm, smells good, you are certainly a talented cook. I'm sure it tastes as good as it smells. I chose well for a home ec. teacher, didn't I?" she winks at Vanessa, "And the tea is really good too, thank you.."\<br\>\<br\>She peers curiously at Kit, thinking, "Hmm, sounds like you could use a good magic tutor..Unfortunately the library is limited in books on magic but perhaps you could try talking to Illyana. She is quite well versed in magic.."

Copycat has posed:\<br\>Copycat Blinks " I heard that girl's name, I know my ex-boyfriend used to talk about some guy with a really odd name.. doctor something " She shrugs " Kept saying his outfit was dope.. which only makes me think it looks terrible " . \<br\>\<br\>     She starts to dreg up the Pork cuts and drops them using long chopsticks to turn them in the oil, making sure to use only a few so the oil doesn't get overcrowded or the temp drops too much.. taking them out when they are golden to place them on a rack to cool and for the excess oil to come off, having coated them in flour and panko. In between the frying, she whips up a sauce to pour.. She beams a jean " I dunno, I like cooking, so I guess so " She laughs. \<br\>\<br\>     To kit she frowns " That sounds way bigger than my brains can handle. Best leave it to the magic types.. I'm having a hard enough time dealing with the fact I can copy people and download their brains " .

Kit Killovarras has posed:\<br\>"Strange.. You're talking about Stephen Strange and yes, I've spoken to him about my magic in the past." Kit says with a nod to Vanessa, giving a little chuckle as he adds, "Just, not this one yet." He gives a little shrug, but when Illyana is mentioned? He gives Jean a glance and a simple, "No. I don't think so." \<br\>\<br\>The kitchen finishes rearanging itself and Kit finally walks over to sit at the table as he explains, "Last time I wound up trying to talk to Illyana was.. Not a good experience for me and honestly? Not one I'm willing to repeat." It's rare that the aardwolf would refuse to talk to someone and even he knows it, so the explanation continues, "She decided it was wise to speak down to me as if I were inferior, barred me from studying /any/ magical text from the library and in the end I had to have Mr. Guthrie help mediate the situation because her locking everything away from me in limbo halted my ability to study what I am for several weeks. I've studied the power I have since I can remember, I don't appreciate being talked to like I'm a five year old who can't even hold a fork right, so no."\<br\>\<br\>It's rare when Anger is the emotion swirling around in Kit's head, but apparently that particular encounter left a mark, since just talking about it over a year later seems to have him more than a little angry still.

Phoenix has posed:\<br\>Jean Grey smiles and nods "I was going to suggest Doctor Strange although it sounds like you already know him..Wasn't he opening a magic academy you? although it would be a lot of work juggling between the two.."\<br\>\<br\>She frowns deeply at mention of Illyana, "Hm, I'm not sure why she did that because she doesn't have authority over library materials. I will have to have a chat with her, I'm really sorry she acted that way..If you like I can talk to Dr Strange too.."

Copycat has posed:\<br\>Copycat Stops for a moment and walks over and puts a hand on jean shoulder " Stop, your taking too much on girl your gonna break " she says simply " You got all these people here they can help " she chuckles " I mean you can talk to that doctor fellow but Just don't take too much on "s he looks to jean " your headaches could be becuase you've got too much on your plate " . \<br\>\<br\>     She says this as she turns on the chinese burner this is not like normal stove this is 150,000 of pure HOT.. as she starts to add oil to the wok and puts it on letting it heat up before throwing in the eggs starting to move very quickly constantly moving the wok back and forth with her laddle stiring the eggs in moments she's throwing the old rice inside and starts to smash it breaking it up.. Adding various soy sauces and a few onions into the rice all the while constnatly stiring.

Kit Killovarras has posed:\<br\>Kit gives a little grin and muses, "I'm, already part of his academy as well.." his grin growing ever so slightly wider. "But yeah, I've talked to a few people there too. Apparently with these sort of things, it's more about figuring out how to activate it than anything else." There's a little shrug, then he gives a glance to Vanessa and tilts his head, "Wait, you said you could 'download peoples brain', I'm guessing you can mimic their genome as well?" Again, curious yeen is curious.
