Domino has posed:
[The Narrows, Gotham City]

Most would think that someone hired by Wayne Industries would opt to live outside of this part of town. That's because most people don't consider barrio living comforting and homey.
Neena has settled into her new apartment on one of the upper floors of a four story brownstone with an alley view. She doesn't care that gunshots ring out intermittantly through the night. She doesn't care that her apartment is fairly spartan. It's a place to lay your head between bouts of intense work. That's good enough.
Neena sits in a t-shirt and black pajama bottoms on the futon in the center of the room, coffee table in front of it spread with papers and laptops. The smell of coffee drifts out of the kitchen. It'll be another session of night work to keep up with running around in the day.
She's left the window by the fire-escape open, the curtains rustling at the edges in a passing breeze.

Nightwing has posed:
There had been gunshots indeed, approximately fourteen of them total in a short rough cacophony of fire that had brought police out about a half hour ago. It was just enough to put the rest of the neighborhood onto that sense of wariness, that feeling of being on lock down though they weren't quite. It just felt like something else could happen at anytime... because so often in this neighborhood it does.
But it had been enough for Nightwing that after he had handled the situation with the crossfire, he'd made a patrol around the area. Just a circuitous route that took him around and led him to gauge the situation. Until he saw that window open. But this location... hm, it correlated with the database that Oracle set up and... hnh.
There was a faint clang on the fire-escape, and then a voice. "Not a fit night for man nor beast."

Domino has posed:
Domino doesn't look up from the work, not just yet. "Come in from the storm then, 'Luigi'. I've got coffee and donuts. It's hard work crime fighting, take a couple of minutes to rest and get some carbs and caffiene," she says, inviting him in.
Her fingers rattle the keys rapidfire - words per minute probably looked good on her resume - and then she reaches forward, taking her own cup and putting it up to her lips for a sip, leaning back on the black futon. "Sorry about the mess in here. Haven't had time to clean."

Nightwing has posed:
Still standing in the window he shakes his head, "This is just a small house call, but..." He looks around slowly and gauges her surroundings, then his attention returns to her. "In this neighborhood you don't really want to leave your window open during the night. A lot of break ins. And crazy people. No idea what sort of weirdos might drop in."
At that he smirks a bit but then takes a step in. "I'm still on the clock, but figured I'd check in."

Domino has posed:
"Castle doctrine still applies in Gotham," Neena replies. "I have to ask, Nightwing... Has Batman told you anything about me? What I did before I rather stupidly allowed myself to get hooked into allowing Bruce Wayne the opportunity to give me my first ulcer?"

Nightwing has posed:
"Still, I would imagine you'd prefer as much to not shoot someone as to shoot them." He gestures to the window, "So yeah." But at that he folds his arms over his chest as he stands there, gaze level on her, brow furrowing slightly. "We haven't spoken about you too much, though I do have some computer contacts that look things up on google for me." His lip quirks into a twist.

Domino has posed:
Neena doesn't answer that first comment. Truth be told, she'd rather sit there like a honey trap and clear out criminals, nice and legal. At least, once or twice. Too many times and Batman might get the idea she was trying to clear out Gotham in her own way.
"Yeah, good luck on that google thing. You aren't going to find anything other than my handful of mistakes," she grins. She pats the empty seat of the futon next to her. "Come on, boy wonder. I don't bite."

Nightwing has posed:
"Nina," Nightwing tells her as he shakes his head, looking at her with a small smile. "I really should go. And to be fair..." He looks at her, tilting his head to the side as if trying to get a better angle. He lifts his gauntlet and checks it, then looks back to her. "If you want to talk, why don't you throw on your Catwoman Cosplay and see if you can keep up with me."
His smile is roguish, amused, then he adds. "But I understand if you're getting too old to run around like a crazy person."

Domino has posed:
"Ohhh, you -went- there," Neena laughs. "Oh -fine-, give me a moment to whip up some prune juice and find my walker." She suspends and locks the laptop, and gets up, walking into the kitchen area. There's a soft click as the coffee's turned off, and a closed door.
She shouts through the door, "Should I wear the ears and tail for you? I hear that's in-season this year with caped crusaders."

Nightwing has posed:
"Personally, I had a crush on She-Hulk, so if you have any green paint in there." His words filter through the apartment, reaching her and winged on the features of his laughter as he turns away moving back to the fire-escape and taking a small half-hop up on the railing to perch there as he waits a moment for her. He tilts his head as he considers the alleyway below.
A moment later he calls over his shoulder, "I'll be across the way." And with that he fires his grapple line, hooking on the next building over and swings out to climb up and over the side of the building next door.

Domino has posed:
Three minutes later, Domino is swinging over to the rooftop where Nightwing has (hopefully) been waiting. "She-Hulk? Really?" she finally asks as she walks across the rooftop. "Death by snoo-snoo?"
She's in full gear. That was quick.

Nightwing has posed:
"Well, you see," Nightwing smiles crookedly at her as he rolls up to his feet, rising from his crouched position on an industrial air conditioner, his lithe athletic form shifting position rather easily as he steps towards her, "I figured it was less likely for you to have green paint, if I chose some other person you might actually be able to finagle something and then you'd be all embarrassed when I laughed at you. I wanted to save you that humiliation."
That said he gives her a nod, "C'mon, we got ground to cover. When we get to a street I'll use the grapple line and you can hang on."

Domino has posed:
"How kind," Neena retorts, smirking. "Sorry, I have a preference for men who are old enough to shave. I know it's a difficult let down but I'm sure you'll recover in time." Banter. It almost feels like old times.
Oh, hold onto him while grappling hmm? She puts aside her own. If he's going to offer a ride along, why not? It'll just up his chances of getting lucky.
    Mutant powers. Not that.

Nightwing has posed:
"Hey, I shave, once a week like clock work." The former Robin smirks at her and then he's off, breaking into a run across the rooftops, sliding under a pipe on is knees and rolling to his feet. They begin their first round of the city from there, dashing, darting, and making those fantastic leaps across rooftop to rooftop, at times having to swing across the chasms between buildings, and others needing to climb up along the side.
"Try and keep up, Dom!" And for them, the night is just beginning.
