Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana has few days to claim as her own. It isn't a burden to her, it is simply the way it is. Between her role as Ambassador for the Amazons, looking after the interests and message tasked to her, and her role with the Justice League her attention is almost always held elsewhere. When a rare afternoon comes along that has no plans already triple booked, she does enjoy getting out for a while.

Today is one of those days. Already Spring is in full bloom and moving closer to Summer. It is one of her favorite times to get out into Manhattan and take in the beauty and ingenuity of the city that never sleeps.

Dressed down for comfort, she wears a red Siouxsie and the Banshees teeshirt and faded jeans over canvas shoes. Simple metal framed glasses with subtly blue tined lenses and her hair pulled back into a simple pony tail complete the look. Most would think her attractive but likely she can pass amongst the masses with more anonymity than she typically could enjoy.

Holding a cup of coffee from a small kart along the street, she steps into a boutique to look at the clothing designs popular this season.

There is a bit of a flurry of activity going on right now with several girls and guys running around.. like there's somebody important in the shop. People move around a girl looking a bit flustered, but she smiles .. only to blink since Diana is rather tall. " Oh hello, welcome to Pilgrim. How can I help you? "

     Of course it wouldn't take much for Diana to look over and see a rather tall blond woman with ice blue eyes standing in a suit pants and jacket but she's pointing to the jacket " Cut here and here.. the style is what i asked but doesn't have enough pop " she says...

     Moments later they bring a jacket she tries out " oh yes this is perfect " . She pauses though, turning to look at Diana, a little shocked. From Emma's point of view, Diana's mind is unlike any she's touched before!

Diana Prince does notice that the shop is particularly busy, perhaps even a bit stressed at the moment. Seeing the blonde with several staff hovering around her. It doesn't give her much pause, after all many successful business women and socialites frequent the shops along these streets. For her sake, Diana finds the woman impressive. The measure of self control and dignity she exudes is rather unique among most in the city.

Unaware that she may be in the presence of a psychic, her thoughts are hardly guarded. It would be curious to the other woman perhaps, given that those thoughts are processed in a unique dialect of Ancient Greek rather than in a modern day language.

As the woman from the shop greets her, Diana smiles, "Hello. Thank you. I'm just looking for the moment."

Emma Frost She lifts an eyebrow towards the woman; she doesn't say anything, just looks her over for a moment because she turns and checks herself in the new outfit. She takes off the jacket to look at how it looks without the jacket to see if it fits her standards.. even if she did come up with how it looks herself.

     The shop manager is standing on the side, looking nervous. Emma, for her part, ignores him and looks to one of the girls, " Go show her around the shop " . That other woman's mind isn't like normal, so she's curious and wants her to stick around. " Invite her for tea, " She commands.

     She shop features several couches and chairs for people to sit at while clothes are brought up for them to view.. before they can pick what they want to try on. An upgraded version of browsing. Where staff will try to pick what would look good on you .

Diana Prince has her own measure of heightened senses. She is aware that the blonde is looking at her but it does not seem so different than any other encounter. Daily there are those who more uncomfortably gawk at her even at the United Nations where allegedly the utmost professionalism is to be on display. If only.

As one of the staff comes over, seeking to show her the latest styles that have newly arrived, Diana smiles patiently. She had just wished to browse and make any choices of her own accord, but rudeness is not a trait she chooses to favor. She has time so there is little harm in it.

With a nod she relents and follows the young woman offering a quiet, "Thank you."

Emma Frost She smiles as Diana comes over; she moves and sits gracefully on a couch and crosses her long legs. " Thank you for coming to sit with me," She says brightly. " You don't seem to be the normal folk who come into here .. forgives me. If I'm interrupting your browsing pleasure " .

     she gives a little nod. " I'm Emma Frost. It's a pleasure to meet you. " She's trying to be nice to Scott, and the others told her to work on being more friendly, so here she is .. being nice or trying to be at least.

Diana Prince looks at Emma with a curious smile.

"Thank you for the invitation." As she settles onto the couch she nods, "Hello Ms. Frost. That is a familiar name.." she notes thoughtfully as she tries to place the face and name.

"I am pleased to meet you. I am Diana." No last name is offered but the psychic will likely be able to tell it was not out of malice or caginess. She just doesn't have one; unless 'of Themyscira' particularly counts. Though there was a time when she went by Diana Prince in the early days of her mission. Most who need to know her just call her Diana or Wonder Woman so she has largely dropped the fake surname.

"You aren't interrupting Ms. Frost. I am just enjoying an afternoon without other obligations."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost He beams a real smile and nods, " Well then , thank you for taking the time to indulge me " . She motions for the people to bring out different outfits for Diana to look at; after all, she got what she came for. It's her way to showing her thanks.

     She sips her tea. " You have the most interesting accent; it's subtle but almost sounds Greek; forgive me if I'm incorrect; I've been to Greece a few times to oversee company operations. "

     She knows it's Greek, but this is a nice way to bring it up after all. She's got a good idea who Diana is, but it would be rude to pry.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana Prince sits back comfortably. Crossing her legs, right over left at the knee, she looks curiously at the various outfits being brought out for her consideration. The thoughtful smile on her face never fades, suggesting she truly does admire the fashions and suggestions.

Pausing to take a sip of the offered tea with a soft 'Thank you'.

Tilting her head at the question from Emma, she smiles again, "Thank you. It is a dialect of Greek, though not from the nation itself." Setting her cup down, she offers, "I am from the island of Themyscira." Which likely confirms all suspicions.

Emma Frost She nods her head and smiles. "Ahh, okay, that explains it, " she smiles. " I heard the island is a paradise. She puts her teacup down. " You know I used your island for an exercise for some students I was teaching " . She chuckled a bit. " I asked them how they would increase profit for the island without changing its natural beauty. That means no new industry or exploitation of the land; what could you do that would have no impact?" She sighs. "I meant it as a test, as it was a question that had no answer. but one of my students actually came up with an answer:"

    . She pauses and points. " Yes, that one would be lovely, but bring me a tablet " . She motions. " Hope you don't mind." She grabs it and makes some changes. " What do you think of this? " .

Diana Prince nods slowly, listening to Emma's response. The idea of an exercise to improve her home seems rather unorthodox to her and she tilts her head. "Interesting. May I ask what it was that was proposed?" It doesn't mean she is inclined to act upon it, but curiosity is of no harm, right?

"What sort of teaching is it that you do, Ms. Frost?" She has yet to place the name, though in the back of her mind it remains somehow familiar. Then the question is dropped as the outfit is brought out for her consideration.

Inwardly she is amused that Emma has already determined who she is, not that it bothers her. Smiling thoughtfully at the idea, she nods some, "It is lovely. It wouldn't be practical for my daily responsibilities but I am sure there are occasions where I would be able to wear it." Still she hadn't planned on purchasing anything today. But never say never?

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Laughs "I wouldn't buy something like this for going around, even I wear a suit " she points to her legs " but for the dinner parties, this would be lovely" . She blinks

     "Oh, how thoughtful of me, forgive me." She smiles. " I teach business at Xavier School for gifted youngsters when I'm not running my family business of frost industries."

     she leans back herelf." As for the answer it was photography, to take pictures of your wonderful land .. to take pictures of the beauty and grace the untouched wonder.. could be sold to increase revenue without causing damage, it would also help to spread cultural influence.. it was my own daughters who came up with that " She shakes her head.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana Prince smiles and nods, "I had imagined that is what you intended" that the design would be for more formal events. "It is quite lovely. You have a talent for fashion, clearly, Ms. Frost."

She smiles and nods, "I know of the Institute. I have had a few occasions, though rare, to have spoken with Professor Xavier. He has spoken or given presentations a few times at the United Nations. I knew that I had heard your name but wasn't able to recall where earlier but that was it." Sipping at her tea she considers the idea of promotional photography.

"That is a unique idea. You must be very proud of her creativity." She stops short of saying whether it is one that would ever be one the Amazons might be open to considering however.

Emma Frost Thinks for a moment. " Yes, I am of all of them. "She thinks for a moment and decides what the hell she knows who you are. Well, you talked about the professor, so she has no doubts the JLA knows about the X-men. "There are 5 of them.. a man illegally cloned me. But I view them as my children, so yes, I'm quite proud " .

     it was free business advice if the princess doesn't use it that's up to her. She knows that the woman in front t of her is nobody to be trifled with, and she cannot be forced into anything.

     She thinks "Charles's idea for the world is wonderful, a little naive but I help him where I can." She sighs. " I just hope what I see is coming won't happen " .

Diana Prince winces softly at the mention of being illegally cloned. "I'm sorry to hear that was done to you. It sounds as though you have found at way to make something better of the situation. Having a family is many things. Not all of them are easy to reconcile but that is true with most relationships in life."

She nods. "His presentations have been particularly inspiring and fearless. I wish that others would understand the truth that he speaks. Fear is a powerful emotion and so easily clouds judgement." With a wistful smile she shrugs and adds, "We can only continue to spread the truth. Others will begin to listen."
