Synopsis:	Jacen takes a wrong turn, runs into Kimberly, fights putties with her, and sees her fall for no reason. More to come.

Jacen Masters has posed:
There are places that Jacen might go where he doesn't stand out. A lot of places. Unfortunately for him, it's just not anywhere around here. A cowboy in Angel Grove. Who would have expected that.

He is currently looking at his phone, leaning against his truck and swiping maps on his phone. Shaking his head he mutters,"I swear I ain' gonna swing any direction other'n home."

Pink Ranger has posed:
Angel Grove is a beautiful little town, with mountains and lakes and other exotic stuff. As Jacen stands, presumably on some suburban street corner, Kimberly steps out of the red centre having finished a workout.

Still dressed in pink leggings and a black tank top, she sips on some cool water, enjoying the last few rays of summer sunshine. Of course winter never fully comes to this warm sunny place so that's a plus.

Spying Jacen she tilts her head, recognizing him from somewhere, "Heeey..Are you list? Need help?" she steps towards him but can't quite recall his name.

Jacen Masters has posed:
He nods to the phone and puts it away finally. He looks at the sound of the voice approaching. He considers her and umms softly,"Kimberly right?" he asks. Good on him to remember considering how many people he sees in a day. Shaking his head he replies,"I w's lost, bu' I think I gotta feel f'r how ta get back where I need ta go. Good ta see you again."

Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly chuckles and nods, giving him the once over, "It's Jacen right? Nice to see you again..how you been?" her smile is bright and cheerful but she seems tired. She peers. at his phone, "Where you trying to get to?"

Jacen Masters has posed:
"Jacen yeah." he replies with a slight tip of his hat,"I been ah'ight I reckon. Yourself?" He smiles a little as well,"Oh I'm gettin' it figgerd out. Jus' tryin' ta be m' bearin's an' make m' way back ta New York'n then upstate ta m' ranch. Took a detour ta splore a little an' well. Here I am."

Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly nods thoughtfully, "Wow, you're a ways out..How did you end up here?" she's not kicking in the least but seems genuinely concerned. Angel Grove is across the border afterall. "Oh, you know, keeping busy with training and waitressing at the local cafe. This town is fairly Amal but quaint, can't complain..Just check out the scenery." she smiles.

Jacen Masters has posed:
"Oh. I been off f'r a coupla days'n jus' kinda tend ta wander. Got called back on a shift f'r t'morrow night an' I had ta start sortin' it out." he explains,"Th' scenery had a lot ta do with it too." he admits looking around. Maybe he looked at her too, maybe. She is pretty and he is a man after all. Not staring though, he looks in the direction she indicates too,"So ya see. Sometimes I wander'n see where it finds me."

Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly smiles and nods, not noticing the checking out perhaps. "It is a beautiful town...." she's about to say something more..Bit it looks like some trouble is popping up in the nearby park as people scream and start to flee something or other.

Kim sighs, rubbing her temples. "Not again.." she's tired but duty calls afterall.

Jacen Masters has posed:
"It is that." he agrees about the beauty of the town. He notices the sudden change in people nearby. He frowns and reachs into the medicine pouch and brings out an eagle's feather.

If she could see into the spirit realm, she would see a spirit eagle appear before him, scream silently into oblivion and then fly towards the sound of the screaming people,"Not again soun's like this ain' new. I'll see what's goin' on there in a sec."

Pink Ranger has posed:
Seems like more putties, but that is nothing new or strange to Jacen this time round. Seems Kim is all too familiar to this routine as she's already running terra the source of trouble, "Come on, let's go!" should he follow he will find - no surprise - numerous putties running around, chasing people. Kim is already moving to fight, even if she's a bit worn down from an intense workout earlier.

Jacen Masters has posed:
"Right b'hind ya. It's more of them putty things." he mutters and follows after her. Once he's established nothing else obvious he releases the eagle into the ether. Instead he reaches up and touches the bone necklace. Before him a massive spirit bear appears, roaring into the void only noticeable to those with spirit sight.

Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly is only half aware of his impressive powers but she smiles, "Cool trick!" she cuts into a nearby putty or two with a one two punch before ducking and foot sweeping another out of its way. She starts out strong but it seems more and more are coming. They swarm both of them, even as the first few are easily cut down by Jacen 's powers.

Still, they are soon outnumbered by 15 to two. Where did all these outties come from anyway? they dint seem to have any particular purpose other than to wear down their prey..What's their true goal or are they just mindless creatures?

Jacen Masters has posed:
A soft chuckle and he shakes his head,"We keep gettin' inta this kinda stuff migh' hafta tell ya how't works some day." he tells her. Grabbing the one nearest him, he picks it off the ground over head in a gorilla press and throws it head first at the medallion on the chest of another one, tossing one and breaking another with it.

He learns.

Pink Ranger has posed:
Jacen is no stranger to fighting outties and it shows. He is clearly no normal human either and he has no trouble dispatching many outties, and along with Kimberly, they manage to cut their opponents numbers by half..But..

Suddenly Kim seems to be lagging a bit..Maybe it was the intense workout she had earlier, but it's too late to run off and transform. Her fingers run over the medallion, getting ready to transform..But they're close. Maybe she can fend off a few more and escape, but.."Hyah!," she lets out a battle yell, grabbing one putty, hurling him into another, jumping over another, shoving him into another, sending more kicks at nearby outties. She's not super duper strong but her kicks seem more powerful than a regular human. Still...Why is she running out of breath so quickly? Something...Seems wrong..

"Sorry but..lI think I need to call for help..." holding up her medallion to the sky she calls out. "Pterodactyl!" last time she did this she transformed no problem, but this time, something odd happens. The column of pink light surrounds her.lBut rather than transform her.l.Its like she just got hit by a bolt of lightning.

She screams, crumpling to the ground..

Jacen Masters has posed:
At first, he is just caught up in the fight. Once in a while a guy just needs that. A straigh punch to the putty's jaw knocks it aside. He's not a martial artist in the classical sense, but he can throw ae punch and kick well enough. His talent is obvious when it comes to grabbing and throwing though and he sends another head first into the chest into its ally.

The scream gets his attention and he looks away instantly. He measures the situation and uses another putty as a battering ram to make his way to her. A quick check of her pulse and he senses the putties starting to gather.

The bear is released and he still picks her up with ease,"Sorry darlin'. Usually ask permission ta help, but I think we 'bout ta both need help'f I wait."

In his hand he holds a piece of deer antler. The power flows and a large pronghorn deer appears before them in the spirit realm and then runs before them.

Pink Ranger has posed:
Jacen's powers are more than a match for putties and they scramble back as he charges at them with spirit animals. Still, they're pretty persistent..Right up until Kim falls, then they hesitate as if their job is done. As the deer is summoned and charges into them, they shriek and clear a path easily enough for Jacen To flee with Kimberly. Out in the distance, a tall, robed and hooded black' figure watches briefly, and then with a snap of his fingers, both he and the putties..Suddenly disappear..?

The man can run. Fast. He carries Kim with him and races towards the truck. The dear might have caused unease with the putties since it is spirit and not many can see the animals. Hard to miss the cold that a spirit causes when it manifests.

He holds her tight to him and does his best to stablilize her head as he runs. Once to the truck, he opens the door and places her inside, reclining the seat and doing a quick vitals check before moving to get in and drive out of there fast,"Kim. Ya hear me?" Sounds dumb, but it is part of patient assessment.

Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly groans, fluttering in and out of consciousness. "Ugh, tired.." she blinks, glancing over her shoulder, confused. What happened to the putties..? "Wait..lWe can't...Can't leave yet.." she groans, realizing she's in no shape to fight but...What just happened? There are no outties now, and things are almost back to normal..But what's up with Kim..?

Jacen Masters has posed:
Driving away he replies,"There's all manner o' super heroes'n this world. One of them migh' hafta step up'f they're still back there." He heads towards the nearest hospital and is unsure about it, but has little option at the moment,"We'll getcha some help darlin'. I'd take ya someplace less public all things c'nsidered, but it'll hafta do f'r now." A few moments later he is checking her into the hospital, flashing an ID. This gets folks more active about helping her and he settles in to see what happens.
