Superman has posed:
Clark Kent sits at an empty table. He looks out a window as the usn goes down. He doesn't want to admit how small his world feels. That's why there's only one cup on the table and it sits closer to Clark than anything else.

Those dull blue eyes just take in the details of the world from time to time. When he's not watching the world, he just takes a sip of the coffee. Honestly, it's actually pretty good. Given that the place has microbrewed beer, local wines and things like that. The coffee is close to top notch.

Taking another sip of the coffee, the eyes close and he tries to listen for trouble. It's just him trying to remind himself of what's still around in the world. Even if his feels small, it's not without various bits. This include the who he is. The world needing him.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Of course, Willow knows Clark's alter ego. And thus Dark Willow does to.

One minute he sat at his table alone. The next? Sitting across from Clark was Dark Willow. She looks familiar. But not. Her hair was not red, but black with a white witches forelock. Her eyes were deepest, darkest black. And most importantly (by Dark Willow's standards) she was not dressed up with her usual frumpy clothing. In fact she was sexy, and she flaunted it irrevocably.

"Poor Clark. Sitting by himself. Whatever happened to that Lois? Weren't you going to marry her? Or did she finally wake up and smell the kryptonite?"

With a flip of her fingers she produced a cup of coffee and leaned back blowing on it. Looking over the rim, as if to say, 'Well?'.
Superman has posed:
Clark knows Willow and some of what she knows. So, he knows this is like a hole. He has to see where it goes.

Then the taunting begins. The way Willow speaks it lets him know that this sin't hormal. -She- isn't normal. That's the part that sticks out. To see how long she's been gone and what could bring her back. Sadly, the rough cup about this he's unequipped for. There is no magic user to help him.

Clark's on his own. "She is fine," he won't give her the satisifaction of answers that could lead to the taunting.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Hrmph.

Clark didn't jump on the Lois tidbit.

Dark Willow shrugs. "I really can't get over you. Settling for a human. A lowly human. She is so normal it puts me to sleep." The way she says 'normal' it sounds like an insult. "To hear Willow talk about you, I suppose, I shouldn't be surprised." She shrugs.
Superman has posed:
"And how does she talk about me?" Clark asks curiously. That's the part that gets him. While Dark Willow gets concerned he doesn't take the Lois bait, he's curious what she means. Those dull blue eyes watching Dark Willow. Both arms cross for amoment. He uses a middle finger to push up the glasses.

"And why doesn't she tell me herself?" he asks.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Sipping her coffee, Dark Willow cants her head. "Willow? She has got starry eyes where you are. Hero worship." Again, another shrug. "Did you realize, she would have died for you at Apokolips if necessary? True. She even used force lightning.." She laughs. "Poor girl. She doesn't realize that the spell isn't the problem. It wells from the inside of the spellcaster."

"As for why? I got tired of her taking her time to realize that she was me. Now we are separate." And the same. What Willow didn't acknowledge, Dark Willow didn't either. "Trust me, I'm more fun than she was."
Superman has posed:
Clark's quiet for a long while just listening to "Dark" Willow speak. He understands what she's saying. Almost like personality disorder. He's not sure if this is aspects of the mind manifesting to the same person, a magical aspect to her manifesting to reality, or a combination.

"She's a good person. She should be around more. You should work with her, be the real Willow. The trust willow," he says softly just trying to see if this is something a Willow deep down could hear.

"I don't need anyone sacrificing themself for me. I want the world to see the next day. To know people are still going to live life and have a good day. It would have made my own life worth it," Clark explains as he watches Willow for a moment.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Oh!" Dark Willow titters at that. "She was going to sacrifice herself to make certain you were around for another day. Something about everyone looks up to Superman. Giving people hope. Yada, yada. It would be less pathetic if she took her sacrifice without all that claptrap about not being worthy."

"Now me? I would be thinking what was I getting out of this. Obviously I wouldn't be so stupid to think I was going to die."

~Offering up yourself for someone -is- a reward.~ Not that Clark could hear her, and the voice that Dark Willow could still break the barrier because of the spell upon the book.

Dark Willow waves her hand to banish Willow. "You had your turn." Her tones were utterly cold and dismissive. "Or have you not realized that if you could break free we would not be having this conservation. You lost."
Superman has posed:
Hearing "Dark" Willow talk about the sacrifice. How Willow didn't think of herself worthy. And the counterpart thinking of ways to get out of it.

"Dark" Willow speaks as if there's a voice Clark can't here. "That's the thing about Willow. She was always worthy. Still is, too. She's stronger than she realizes, too. And she's amazing," he says knowing that sometimes people just need to hear things. To hear they're good enough. To see the potential someone else does and to hear it aloud. So, Clark is trying to pounce on that.

"She always has been good enough. The ability to surpass people like Zatana Zarana, Zatara and more," he says just wanting to add fuel to the fire.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
With her thumb and her pointer finger, Dark Willow played an imaginary violin.

"Oh, dear boy. You know that. And obviously I know that. But, poor Willow has gotten herself believing that she isn't worthy. Silly girl. With a friend like The Slayer? She had everything against her from the beginning. And now? You say that she has been enough, and in her ears she hears '.. except'. It was always 'except'. You can thank her parents for that."

Dark Willow sets her coffee mug down.

"See for yourself."

Without changing her features, there is a subtle shift. "Go on. Tell her. See what I mean."
Superman has posed:
Clark's quiet for a bit hearing "Dark" Speak then she brings up a point. He can't tell if it's a temptation, or a taunt thing. Like they wouldn't be here if it's not for the issue.

Clark will say nothing, he'll get up. Moving toward Willow, he kisses her forehead. "There is no except. You are good. You are worthy," he says softly and goes to hug her. He's hoping that's enough to pull Willow forward.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
That? Wasn't what Dark Willow was prepared for. She grimaces and scowls.

But Willow takes this moment to break free as much as she can. Or perhaps, as much as she believes. It's hard to say.

"Clark!" For one moment. Dark Willow-Willow blushes, and Willow's voice is heard. "You're just saying that. If I were all those things I wouldn't be in this predicament. I tried, though."

Dark Willow cackles as she hears. And then her voice, sultry and sexy, breaks through. "She didn't even believe it when similar things were said by her boyfriend. Our poor Willow is trapped because in order to break out she needs to embrace me. And she is frightened of what it will be like. To give up her fairytale of being good. But she doesn't know, in order to be good you must have evil. And our little Willow was oh so very good."

She smiles an evil smile.

"Now I am in charge, and I don't play by the rules. Sorry Willow" She swipes her hand and the image of Willow on Dark Willow's countenance is gone.
Superman has posed:
Seeing Willow come forward makes him smile. Then Willow is back at the wheel. Clark tries to say, "You are those things, trust me." And in that moment Clark realizes why he empathizes with Willow. He has his own fears and had to confront a "Dark" Clark at one point.

"She doesn't need to give that up," and then he looks at Willow. He will note a few things about that change. Her Sultry voice the subtle changes. "She's not gone. Maybe that's what you're afraid of, being good. But she is good. There is no except. This is merely a moment. A setback. I know she'll fight back," and he knows this may anger Dark Willow.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"You. Know. Nothing."

Dark Willow begins to cover herself in shadows.

"Nothing. I have earned my right to be here."

As the shadows overtake her, and she blips out. Willow - the actual Willow - begs of Clark, "Tell Harry to be strong.. Tell Buffy the book needs to be des--" And with that, with her warning unfinished, Dark Willow vanishes. Leaving no trace that she had ever been there.
Superman has posed:
Clark sighs, but knows where to go. Harry, he knows. That's Harry Dresden. He's worked with the man before. Buffy it's been a while, if at all. STanding there, Clark just stares. "Piper," he says softly. "IF you were still around, you'd help me with a lot of problems," that's a magical contact that has gone sadly quiet. Pushing forward, he needs to go trackdown a Wizard and a Slayer now.
