To TP, or not to TP

Location:	Metropolis Academy
Synopsis:	Tomfollery was had at the Academy of Tomorrow which turned into a rescue and a beatdown of Smile Faces. Key ingredient, Havok is back from the dead. Yippie.

Havok has posed:
Evening, perhaps 11pm. The Academy is lights-out and most seen in the quad are people hurrying from the library back to their dorms trying to avoid getting caught by the security patrol who often cites people for being out past curfew <Havok imagines Emma is a curfew Nazi>. Presently, there are 3 students in sight amognst the trees and pathways of the hilly terrain. The large fountain in the center of the hub is well light by colorful lights celebrating the diversity of life and the spraying waters send a cool mist into the humid night air whose temperature still ranges in the upper 80s.

Back at base, the X-alarms resonate indicating that there's trouble in denmark, or in this case Hell's Gate as some form of temporal disturbance involving a rift in the time space contiunum and that someone needs to investigate. Some are on ride-along, others are super cool and have the proper permissions to investigate. They're also going to another location and need to look like they're blending in. Or, some Xavier's Students may be here with the idea of TPing the other school because they're naughty children and want to have fun.

Above the fountain at an altitude of 200 feet, a purple cloud begins to swirl and thunder begins to erupt. Students run for their dorms and off in the distance, some staff are awoken by the disturbance.

Gambit has posed:
With his back pressed up against the wall, Remy leans over and peeks out at the fountain of the rival school and nods once before pulling back and lowering down to turn his attention to his team.

"Rogue, you got de west flank. Sparks(Jubilee), de east flank. Me, I'll take de south. And at once we t'row tp everywhere. Over de trees, de lawn and de sculptures. Ready team. GO GO GO!"

Remy leaves his cover and with a bag full of toilet paper he starts arching over a tree.

Iceman has posed:
Walking, if not stumbling a bit infront of the school is Bobby he is a bit.. under the influece of something though he doesn't look like it is alcohol. This was the day, or night, he was going to track Emma down and proclame his intentions this was it.. he had practiced for this day so walk/stumbles infront of the fountain he glances at the water looking at himself to make sure he looks the part.. Hair combed nicely, not bad breath.... Check, and Check though as he is looking at his reflection he see's something in the sky. Deciding it is best to ask he walks over to a student, and taps one of the three students in the hub on the shoulder.. "Hey do you see that too? Or is it just me?" and gives them a little grin.

Bobby sighs, as he realizes it is real, and buisness again gets in his way behind a tree the form of Bobby melts away and standing there is a transparent ice-form of a man with a smile on his face. He doesn't see the jet yet, but he stumbles onto a ice slide, and is starting to rise into the air to get a better look though the slide isn't straight more wobbly as he is going to be making his way up eventually not a straight shot.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is near Gambit, she has a whole trashbag filled with rolls of toilet paper slung over her shoulder, she has on a black tanktop and black jeans and some long black gloves, on her head is a black baseball cap with a skateboard company logo on the front in white, though its a tiny logo, her hair is tied back in a ponytail coming out the back of the hat and the white bangs are all stuffed up inside of it so as to not get in her face.

Rogue made a happy sound as she got the order to go west and she nodded and did just that!

"Oh, uh, west, right." She turned around and stopped going east, and then took a second to think about it... then nodded and started running west(ish) all the while she pulled her trash bag of rolls down and started tossing one here and there making sure it was nice and streamy.

Rogue ran past Bobby and waved at him... and threw a roll of toilet paper at him in his ice form too.

Havok has posed:
The purple swirling expands and indeed a hole does open up in the middle as the lightning begins to arc and strike from the cloud to various lamp posts/fixtures and benches. A few trees are hit and the wind seriously picks up to a good 30mph clip. A golf cart is seen off in the distance approaching the quad with a tiny yellow light flashing atop it. Thunder rumbles. Lightning flashes. Some kid off in the distance trips, falls and skids along the dry ground. Books fall from his backpack, paper flies in all directions. He exclaims, "My research!"

The hole in the swirling purple cloud then ejects something. Someone. Wearing black with blonde hair falls from the 200 feet. Plummeting toward the colorful waters of the fountain.

Meanwhile, just down the street in an insurance building, a secret meeting of the Right takes place. They conspire against the taint that has begun to destroy the purity of humanity. The homo sapiens are threatened and the Right intends to purify that taint. Four of its members are wearing their super secret battle armor that bears the horrific image of the smile face upon it's headpiece. They are disturbed by the sounds of the storm and rally with the battle cry, "It's dem mutants. Let's show dem whose not gonna tollerate dem no more!" or something akin to racial hatred.

Gambit has posed:
"Good work Rogue... Where'd Sparks go-." Remy's cut off as he finally sees the hole in the sky and his jaw drops.

"Uuuh, team... form up. Quickly." Wearing his black longsleeve shirt and basically all his x-men armor minus the duster as it's a warm-ish night, the Cajun wishes he had his staff. The magenta top isn't exactly great for hiding but the black t-shirt over it does a good job. He spreads his feet wide and draws a couple of cards into his hands, waiting.

"Bobby?" He asks as he sees a ice slide begin to rise up towards the cloud and a figure drops out. "Rogue, catch if Bobby-- Is he drunk?"

Moonstar has posed:
    Normally Danielle Moonstar would never /think/ of breaking curfew, but when she saw Gambit and the other teachers sneaking to the Blackbird, she just had to follow. Suited up for battle, in case there was a need for it, she followed the jet. Which is why she was in the air when the portal appeared, and the blonde man in black emerged from it and started falling.

    Without hesitation, the Valkyrie urged Brightwind down into a dive, getting under the blonde man and catching him as she urges Brightwind to get some altitude as she mutters, "Can't believe I followed them here for /this/," under her breath.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue didn't hear the order to 'form up' beause she was too busy tossing rolls of toilet paper up into trees and such, she'd been by this school once and the faculty here had been 'dickheads' to her so this was a very fun thing for the young southern belle to do to help cap off her summer before she graduated in mid August.

Rogue saw the kid on the ground who spilled all his papers and she ran up to him and crouched beside him. "Here, sugah, let me help ya with that..." She said, before she handed him a roll of tp and started to wrap him up with another one while he just stared in confusion at the girl-in-all black.

Rogue was completely oblivious to the sky-hole, cause thats just kind of how she is.

Jubilee has posed:
"Guyyyyyys, I still don't think this is a good id--" Then, the sky pooped a bum, from a swirly bum-hole. "What the crap, man?" Jubilee stood transfixed, staring at the sight. She tugged at the buckles on her yellow trenchcoat, and lifted her hand absently to the brass goggles atop her head, just to make sure they were there. "Ok yeah, this is DEFINITELY a bad idea." She dropped the bag of rolls that had been thrust into her hands, and ambled distractedly toward the fountain, squinting a little to try and make sense of what was going on.

Havok has posed:
Unconscious, the blonde man <Havok> lands over the back/neck of Brightwind, faced down, with a harsh expelling of wind. He's wearing his black super suit with the gold trim. No head gear and will likely wake in the next round due to the sudden stop and jostling of a winged horse. Dani may also notice a deathurge <aspect of death, since she see's death> pursuing Havok from the portal above. It will now be chasing him while Dani/Brightwind carry him. No one else will see this Deathurge unless Dani can grant that sight to others.

Down the street, out of sight, the four Smile Faces launch intot he air in route toward the disturbance. <they will arrive in 2 rounds>.

The clouds above begin to break up along their edges. The wind continues to howl, but the lightning fades.

Also approaching, the golf cart is still 100 yards away with it's high speed intercept course and yellow flashing light.

Gambit has posed:
Remy is left gawking at what's going on. "What de hell is going on?!" Remy asks, shouting up at the sky, dropping men, being caught by women on flying horses. Bobby is listing lazily to the left like a drunk man, but his reason for being here is just as unknown as everyone else but his own, Rogue's and Jubilee's.

"Seriously?" Remy asks no one looking over and finding Rogue wrapping up a kid in toilet paper as he squirms like a mummy on the ground. Then he looks to Jubilee and just shrugs with a sigh.

He doesn't spy the security approaching because if he did, he wouldn't sit on the ground and just quit on today. This is just weird.

Iceman has posed:
Bobby saw Rogue, and gave her the smiling nod, "Nice weather we are.." he falls off as something exits the portal getting his attention, though he doesn't see her toss the roll of Toliet Paper at him. He floats up to by the flying horse leaving a ice slide in his wake as is going up there anyway. He takes in the flying horse, and the cought man laying on it then looks up, and gives a "where we going?" matching their speed now going the other way as they are running away though Bobby still has that grin. "I mean the portal is the other way isn't it." he looks at the portal.

Finally he sighs, "Well that is no fun... lets go take a look." he says turning he goes the other way, towards the portal in the sky... when he realizes he still has some Toliet Paper stuck to his side.. "For Science!" he decleares, as he takes the roll unwraps it a little, and holding on to one side so it will roll out, he tosses it at the portal not seeing what is chasing them he just decides it is for the best to test if there is anything on the other side of that portal for now since the danger looks to be handled.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani blinks as Bobby slides by, "What, you can't see what's..." She then narrows her eyes at the Deathurge, shouting, "Get clear!" to Bobby even as he slides off. First she shifts Alex around so he doesn't have to worry about falling off, then she guides Brightwind around, having him loop slowly so she can get a bead on the approaching Deathurge.

    Once she sees it, and apparently only she can, she shouts to it, "YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!" A bow of psychic energy appears in her hand, arrow nocked as she takes deliberate aim at the Deathurge, then lets the arrow fly for its target before she banks again, away from the approaching foe as she looks back at Alex, muttering, "What /happened/ to you?" Because even for the X-Men, falling out of portals and being chased by deathurges is a bit beyond the norm.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue wrapped the kid up nice and good in toilet paper, and he oddly didn't protest that much, then she smiled at him and stood up as she saw Jubilee run past her. A second later and Rogue finally saw what was going on up in the sky. "Ruh roh." She said softly then before going to chase after the Jubes.

Now, just between Jubilee and Gambit, Rogue looked between the two of them. "Whateve'ah the hell that is, ain't good.... This palce is gonna be crawlin' with Cops so--." Rogue cut herself off when she did a double-take on the flying horse.

"Oooo... pretty!" And then she sighed, jealousy settling into her heart. She couldn't recognize that the man who fell out of the Sky HOle was Alex, he was too far off, but she did see Bobby up there messing with the portal. "He's gonna get sucked in..."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee pauses, chewing her lip thoughtfully as she watches the goings-on above. She recognizes the face of the "bum," who isn't a bum at all. But something must be giving chase, because the woman on the winged horse is firing at it. Back...back toward where the portal is dissipating. If it's after Alex, it's gonna have to go through her, too. Whatever it is. Wherever it is. She follows the trajectory of the other woman's shot, and lifting her palms skyward, she fires magic missiles of light into the darkness. Her palms glow, increasing in intensity as she seems to restrain the energy until all at once, plasmoids fire in the same direction with all speed, burning brightly and violently as she screams at...whatever it is.

Havok has posed:
The golf cart with the flashing yellow light gets closer now. The driver wears Academy of Tomorrow logo on his uniform and carries a can of mace, a radio, and a clip on retractable cord that holds a huge ring of keys. On his chest is an iron-on patch for a shield. He was indeed calling out, "eeeeooo eeeeoooo, woop woop woop, beee boo beee boo" because his siren is broken. And when he gets closer, he yells, "You kids, what are you doing out past curfew!?!"

Up in the sky is a way different story. Dani's psychic Vaklyrie death defeating arrow is loosed and is stikes something. Upon the strike, there is a flash and everyone (who is looking up) will be able to see a horrific image. A minion of Death herself in tattered robes of black, skull head, and glowing yellow eyes. It is only a flash of the image when the arrow strikes. And the Deathurge reels back in pain. But the light fades as does the visual of the entity. Everyone, except Dani, loses sight of it. And it will indeed pursue her <Havok> again.

Off in the distance, a dorm window opens broadly and a large, muscular, Native American sticks his head and broad shoulders out from the aperature. His dark eyes peer across the quad and he wonders what transpires within the trees. He sees that it's just a storm and cannot see the mutant tomfoolery going on, so he shuts the window and goes back in his room to sleep.

The portal closes. The storm fades completely and the wind dies down.

A block away, the Smile Faces fly over the school's wall and head toward the quad. Their jack-boot-rockets make a rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound which is slowly getting louder for the team to hear.

Havok has posed:
The plasma-missiles that Jubilee shoots go right through the Deathurge. No effect. It made its saving throw. Or in this case, desolid to mortal attacks.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani shouts down, "I'm busy up here, and you got incoming! Smileys!" She gestures, able to see the Smiley Face suits pretty easily from her aerial vantage, before she urges Brightwind down and around to get some distance away from the approaching armor suits since... well, fighting both a deathurge /and/ crazy human supremacists is a bit much for one Valkyrie protecting a passenger.

    Then she narrows her eyes, looking at the deathurge, "Alright, spectre... let's see what /you're/ afraid of!" And that's when she uses her power of illusion creation, to see what solid illusion that the deathurge fears most and make it manifest. Hopefully it's something good!

Gambit has posed:
Remy turns his head up to Dani's shout but the distance and the approaching siren make it impossible for him to decipher what she said so he slowly rises back to his feet to see the siren's source and ... he laughs. Out loud.

"What da hell are ya doin'?" He asks the security guard and walks closer to the man with the saddest profession and simply says "I'm sorry." Before turning heel and bolting away from this mad house chasing after the direction Rogue went, his eyes trying to find Jubilee is his farcas of a night as well.

Iceman has posed:
Bobby gives an awww as the Toliet paper doesn't make it into the portal before it closes falling down toward the school he 'accidently' tp's the house again as it falls onto it. That is when the deathhurge appears like face to face with him. He just stares at it eye to eye for a moment before it disapears. Startled he freezes the whole area he thoght it was in, a huge ice sphere appearing in the air that would quickly fall to the ground as he falls off his slide. "Great jumpin Jupiters... what the hell was that.." he says as he falls back to the ground though it isn't far before another slide catches him wisking him sidways.. "Watch out Below!" he does offer as he didn't want anyone hit by the ball of ice just incase.

Bobby wasn't sure if he could even freeze the thing, but stopping the movement of everything around it so it would freeze he hopes he got it or at least slowed it down as he keeps looking up to where he seen that thing as he is deposeted on the ground.. "Wow.. I got to stop drinking.." he says to himself as he shakes his head. Then looking up at the other group that is coming in.. "Whooop Whoop" he yells trying to alert all the students the secruity was here it was time to go.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just kind of took several steps back while she watched the epic 1980s Metal Music Video unfold in the sky above. "Wow." She uttered then, and a hand went up to her head to adjust her black hat and then she looked over to Remy. "Yousa thinkin' what I'ssa thinkin', Little Ani? We'ssa bettah get back t'the X-Van or wessa all gonna die!" Rogue watched The Phantom Menance last night with a coule of the new kids at the school...

Rogue waved a hand at the kid she wrapped up like a mummy on the ground while all of his school papers blew around in the wind around him and then she looked to the Jubilee. "Come on, we should get outta here!" She ran past Bobby again. "You too, ya drunk!"

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee lowers her hands, and crinkles her nose, then rubs it, watching her attempt at fighting the great invisible whatever go sailing effortlessly through the air. "Well. Shit." She puts her hands on her hips, watching the chick on the horse do the fighting for them. Then she turns her gaze on Captain Cop of the Golf Cart Brigade. "I was just bringing these two back to Xavier's to face disciplinary action. Jubilation Lee." She flashes her identification. "I'm a teacher at Xavier's, and part time Captain Cop on weekends, there. C'mon, you miscreants," Jubilee yelled at her fleeing cohorts. "Let's get you back to the Academy so you can face the consequences of your actions!" She marches off behind them, fists clenched at her sides, a streamer of toilet paper trailing from her right Converse, as the smileys approach from behind, using the momentum, apparently, of the letter R.

Havok has posed:
The effects that Bobby tries to create have no effect on the now invisible Deathurge. Though it was a valiant attempt at something.

Suddenly, there is a radiant white light shining down from the heavens above. Within the pure white light is an 8 foot tall being wearing white robes, holding a glowing golden sword and sporting a halo above its head. The Angel, for all intents and purposes, stands between Dani and something she seems to be facing down. The Angel points the sword toward the target <deathurge> and everyone will hear the horrific, blood curdling scream (for many blocks) as the Deathurge suddenly becomes visible for a split second. Bony mouth agape, eyes bright flashing yellow. The creature turns in its stead and fades away from all to see as it teleports back into the realms of death Herself. The Angel will fade a second after that (since Dani's power doesn't work when there isn't a target).

The Security guard is approached by Gambit. He hears the apology and looks dumbfounded. But before he can get anything out, the Angel appears and he begins to recite a Catholic prayer while dropping to his knees.

Those crazy Smile Faces suddenly come into range. They break the treeline of the quad and the 4 flying battle suits begin to fire at the mutants with their two shoulder mounted .50cal machine guns. Buddabuddabudda buddabuddabudda. Bullets fly toward the mutants and the winged horse. This will definitely rouse the entire school because of the gunshots. Evacuation is going to become very necessary in a few moments.

Havok begins to wake, "What the..." are his groggy words as his head raises and he tries to look about. Then realizes he needs to hold on for dear life as he's on a winged horse with Dani.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani's eyes go wide as... well, she wasn't expecting /that/ to be the manifestation, though it does make perfect sense. Smiling a bit, she shouts back at the deathurge, "That's right, you better ru-..." And that's when the Smileys are coming in for real, as she shouts, "Mister Summers, HANG ON! BRIGHTWIND, DIVE!" And the winged stallion dives for cover, Dani letting loose another arrow from her psychic bow towards the lead armor suit coming after her as they bid a strategic retreat to regroup with the others on the ground.

Gambit has posed:
Remy is running in front of Rogue and Jubilee towards where he parked the buick but stops mid run and throws his hands out to try and halt the girls. "I feel like Metallica is late for their new album cover." Remy says to no one before he motions for the girls to their thing as he does his.

A flick of his wrist and a trio of playing cards are between his fingers and flung towards the nearest metal thing shooting at them. He is running in behind the cards to get on the offensive.

Iceman has posed:
Bobby is evaporating the ice as he is looking up at the pair on the horse when from the treeline battle-suits come and he did not expect it.. He moves quick running towards his friends getting to Jubilee first he shoves her out of the way before the guns start roaring up. The bullets hit him, and his ice holds for a bit even from the high caliber weapon but as he is thrown back big chunks of ice fall off as he is thrown into the fountain falling backwards into it.

He doesn't seem to move much after that just laying in the water ice legs hanging out he is quiet for the first time though the X-men would know it takes more then that as the fountain freezes shattering the fountain as Bobby himself seems to sink into the ice again. He is recouperating for now, but it looks like the whole fountain of ice is reforming, gaining legs.. arms.. it is becomeing a larger human shape easly equal to the size of the mechs.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee gasps and sucks air in through her teeth, holding her leg. Ahhhhh....Shhhh...Ahhhhh....Then, watching Bobby, she quickly raises her hands from her position on the ground to the brass goggles atop her head, pulling the welding glass lenses down over her eyes and screams to anyone close enough to hear, hoping they all know what it means. "SHOWTIME!" She raises her hands toward the approaching figures, an a golden Chinese dragon erupts from the light streaming from her hands. A pulse later, the dragon undulates in midair between the students and the shooters. Another pulse later and the dragon rises, growing exponentially brighter and brighter until each tiny plasmoid that makes it up is as bright as a welding arc. Falling onto her back, Jubilee holds onto the vision as it pulses brighter and brighter, until she screams, and the dragon explodes a dozen times brighter than it was before, in a blinding display, and an attempt to create SOME sort of distraction to get them away from danger. She sits up with a deep sigh, and that is when she takes a stray bullet that knocks her back down.

Havok has posed:
Bullets fly, wiz, zip, and ricochet all around the fleeing mutants and winged horse. Havok slides off the horse now that they're on the ground and he gets his bearings. He looks around at the people and the familiarity of the surroundings. He exclaims, "Hell yeah, I'm home!" then starts walking toward the attacking battle suits. His hands glow brightly, he raises his arms, clasps his hands together (fists toward one of the Smile Faces) and then there's a resounding FOOOOOOOOM that echos through the quad as a bright flash of fiery plasma is launched from Havok into the broad chest of the mech. Blasting the mech out of the scene.

Gambit's playing cards strike true and lodges itself into the lead Smile Face suit. A second later, they explode and the mech careens off to the side into a tree in a trail of black smoke.

"X-Men, form up!" calls the command of Havok. He doesn't copyright infringe upon the Avengers and avoids use of the Assemble command. The remaining two Smile Faces divert quickly off to the side and flee the scene as they are struck by the fireworks of Jubilee.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue would open one of the doors on Gambit's ride, but by the time she turned back... Jubilee was down, was she shot?! Rogue rushed to her friend and went to pick her up. "We have to go!" Rogue shouted at Gambit, but also Bobby and anyone else that was within ear shot.

Emma's school was a crazy nut house and the southern gal wanted nothing to do with it. She'd pick Jubilee up and get her inside of Gambit's car before going to help anyone else get out of here that she could, but with all the mad powers going off around her... the bruiser/tank member of the X-Men felt a bit out of her element. This NOT how this night was supposed to go, and she was far too under-trained to figure out properly how to tackle this.

Iceman has posed:
The arms of the ice figure streach out to grap, and lift two of he Mechs before the eyes open on the figure. A small voice comes out of the big figure.. "Iceman... Angry!" as the giant arms of ice try to lift the mechs to smash them on the ground face down so they can't see where they are shooting. As this is happening the ice figure stands and takes a thundering step towards the mechs.. "Get the people out, I got you covered now." he states to those who are not currently engaged in the fith, though he shakes his head at Havok.

He looks up at the flying horse, "Weren't you just dead, or something?" though he goes back to what he was doing recalling his large arms so he can focus on ice shields for those that were running away. Thankfully he was more of a ranged comabatant then a close up one so he could just stay back, and guard people with ice sheilds, and not knock each of them down when they were getting shot at.. If he had time to think about it he prob could of done the same with Jubilee, but there wasn't enough time. Also to make sure he was the focus the large ice figure runs right at the remaining mechs with a war cry of.. "AghAHagh!" to try to startle them into compliance.

Gambit has posed:
Climbing in his car, starting it and waiting for the party-mobile to be full, Remy guns it down the street, driving out of the area as fast as the sixty year old car can.

Havok has posed:
Turning on his heel, Havok looks at the nature of those that linger. Seeing how Iceman is providing defense while Rogue evacuates Jubilee, Gambit drives them away, and then Dani at the ready. The evacuation will take place with Havok riding with Dani and everyone will return home before the real police arrive.
