Deadpool has posed:
The delivery driver adjusted his cap as he pulled into the parking garage of the apartment building, the steady hum of the truck's engine cutting through the quiet morning. He glanced at the address again, confirming the location. The crate, slender but undeniably heavy, was securely packed in the back of his truck, its wooden frame almost commanding respect with its weight, about 400 pounds, he estimated. He sighed, stepping out of the truck and grabbing the power jack from the side compartment, his boots crunching against the asphalt as he prepared for the task ahead. He'd dealt with heavy deliveries before, but this one was particularly unwieldy, long and narrow, making it tricky to maneuver.

With a few careful steps, he positioned the jack under the crate and began to power it up, the electric hum of the machine contrasting with the stillness of the morning. The jack slowly lifted the crate off the truck bed, its weight shifting with a groan of resistance. Sweat beaded on his forehead as he made sure the crate was secure, and then carefully wheeled it toward the back of the truck. The floor crunched beneath the wheels, and with a small grunt, he angled the crate to fit it through the narrow gap between the truck and the pavement. Every movement was deliberate' his hands steady on the controls, guiding the jack as if it were an extension of himself.

Finally, the crate was positioned on solid ground, and he wheeled it carefully toward the entrance of the parking garage, wondering if anyone would be there to help him unload it further. He rang the buzzer, a soft beep echoing in the quiet space. His eyes flickered about the garage, waiting for a response. What exactly did she want him to do with this thing? Was it meant to be brought inside, or was it simply a drop-off? With a sigh, he shifted his weight and took a step back, bracing himself for whatever instructions might come next.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
The button he had pushed was for a penthouse apartment in the highrise building. One of the best in the building, taking up an entire floor. In fact, it was the very top floor. As the buzzer went off, Natasha glanced up from her workout and moved to the panel near the door where the camera display was. She pushed the button to activate the two way screen upon seeing the image of the delivery driver there.

"Good morning. You have a delivery? I wasn't expecting anything," she offered politely. All the driver would be able to see was her face and a bit of neck, her hair pulled back into a ponytail at the moment. She pushed another button, pulling up a display of the many parking lot cameras on a separate screen. Being a SHIELD agent did give her little perks, like having allowed her to tap into all the CCTV cameras in the area to get a better look at the package and the delivery man from other angles. "Are you having to use a lift for that thing?" she asked curiusly cause that was serious weight since these guys usually were throwing around 100 pound packages like they were nothing.

Why would she be getting a delivery? She didn't even get mail here. She'd only moved in a couple of weeks ago. SHIELD knew she lived here but they wouldn't deliver anything here. They would just have it go to the Triskelion. She couldn't think of a single person that would know she'd be here. Even the lease agreement was under a false name.
Deadpool has posed:
The delivery driver adjusted his cap again as her face appeared on the screen. He couldn't help but notice the sharpness of her features, the intensity in her eyes, there was something about her that made him hesitate for a second. Maybe it was the fact that she had a certain presence, even through a two-way screen. He quickly tried to mask any sign of that momentary pause, his expression neutral as he replied.

"Morning," he said, his voice calm but with the slight gravel that came from years of hauling heavy deliveries. "Yeah, I've got a delivery here. Package says it's for a Natalie Rushman, from Maximum Effort, Inc." He glanced at the manifest again, not that he really needed to, the details burned into his memory. "It's a big one, pretty heavy too. 465 pounds, and about 35 inches by 91 by 51. I'd guess it's a motorcycle, but we don't usually make guesses in my line of work." He shrugged, trying to give her as much info as possible without over-explaining.
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
He was the professional here. But why would someone deliver a motorcycle to her and under her assumed name? It was one she had used before, when working at Stark Industries. But it shouldn't have been associated with here. Tony would've told her if he was sending something too, wouldn't he?

"I'll be down in a minute to sign for it." Since it wasn't the delivery guy's problem. And she certainly wasn't going to have him take it back because, if it was a weapon meant to attack her, she didn't want it in his hands if there was a timer involved. The screen went black.

Three minutes later, the doors to the elevator opened and she stepped out. She was wearing a pair of sweat pants that fitted loosely. Her upper body was in an oversized sweater, that was falling off one shoulder revealing the white strap of a tank style top she wore underneath it. Sneakers covered her feet. She walked over to sign for the package but her eyes were mostly on the big box itself.

Before she came down, she'd already put in a call to SHIELD asking them to send over personnel to check the box from top to bottom before she was going to touch it.

"Thank you. I know that had to be difficult to deal with."
Deadpool has posed:
The driver had made sure that the crate was positioned just right, about five feet from the elevator, giving plenty of room for anyone who might need to use it. There was no real risk of anyone being inconvenienced by it now. He'd made sure of that.

The crate was a solid thing, wooden, reinforced with metal bands, the kind that would take a crowbar to open. He had his clipboard out, pen ready in hand. He needed her signature to confirm delivery, and once that was done, he could get on with the rest of his day.

His fingers tapped lightly on the edge of the clipboard, waiting for her to come down. When she appeared, he took a deep breath, and then added, with a bit of a sigh, "If you'd prefer, I can take it up to your apartment, get it inside. Up to you?"

He really didn't want to haul it all the way up there. The thing was heavy, and that tight turn in the hallways wasn't exactly going to make it easy. But it was his job, and he'd done harder things. "Just let me know what you want me to do? Here, upstairs, or... somewhere else?"
Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"If you don't mind, move it to that first parking space there?" Natasha, aka Natalie, asked. She pointed to the closest space. At least that wouldn't have it out in front of the elevator, even if there was room for people to acces it easily enough. Then she took the clipboard and quickly scanned all the details. Maximum Effort was not a business name she knew either. So strange. She quickly signed, using the proper handwriting for Natalie as she did so. Then she waited for him to finish moving the box before offering him back the clipboard and pen.

"Thank you again. I just have to figure this out now." She took out her phone and quickly snapped a picture of the delivery form, to capture any phone number or order number that might be on it, nevermind that she already had the whole thing in her memory. This is what people would do and thus she did it.
