Molly Millions has posed:
Gunshots in New York. In some areas... that's just Tuesday. And it's one of those areas that's sparking off right now. There's a large container ship docked for loading right now, and from the flashes of light at a distance this would appear to be the source of the commotion. Voices yelling in Japanese, silenced subsonics, but the person opposing them doesn't have any similar such device on theirs. Lean and clad in black, against an oddly rainy night she's a silhouetted shadow against the night sky, hidden from the ship's crew by virtue of the flood lights that light up their work and provide this apparent would-be assassin with easily visible shots.

Below there's at least a half-dozen men visible, most of them similiarly clad in black, but the familiarity with which they move about the ship indicating this is their home, one they're familiar with, and one they're not afraid to try and defend with bullets.

There's already two body's cooling in the night air, one on the deck, and another in the well of the ship itself, broken and bloody among the bulk of the containers.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
When something strange, and it don't look good, you might call the Ghostbusters, but when there's gunshots in New York, you may want something more reliable. Luckily, Carol's Kree side does give her premonitions every now and then when trouble comes around.

This is why a sparkling streak of golden light flashes through the air, as Captain Marvel swiftly makes her way to the site of the shooting, for now keeping above it. Though let's be honest, her bright glow is drawing all kinds of attention, "you know you could hurt innocents shooting like this," she starts descending towards the container ship, hoping to draw fire to herself. For now she has no clue Molly is even on scene.

Molly Millions has posed:
There's shouting from the men on the ship, glowing golden and flying is certainly more attention-grabbing that the dark smudge sprawled behind the flood lights, but when the first one starts to raise his gun Carol's way, the shot doesn't come from below, it comes from Molly. The lean woman with the silver lenses has no qualms whatsoever about taking advantage of the distraction to put down another one of the men before his friends can decide that somehow, Carol is responsible for the existing issue and they turn their guns her way.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
With her years of CIA experiene as a field operative, Carol is very well versed in identifying shots point of origin, so Molly's partaking in the shooting does draw attention. But not enough to compensate for the multitude of shots from the other guys, so while she keeps track of Molly's position, for now she flies towards the thugs. It doesn't matter to her if she's playing into Molly's gameplan, she just wants to put an end to the wild shooting. "Look at me boys, and tell me you don't want to drop your weapons." Seeing how shots seem to bounce off of Captain Marvel, and she's not even trying to avoid them, maybe it is a bad idea to take this dance with her.

Molly Millions has posed:
Certainly it's impressing Molly, for all that no-one but her is likely to hear the low, impressed whistle she gives. Their attention is on the Captain, and she's happy to drop off the side of her perch, slithering down to the railing below and then shimmying down further.

Three guys, with the brains to work out that they want none of this, one dropping his gun and running for the ramp while the other two throw up their hands. Of those two, one gets targetted by his now former coworkers while the remaining two endeavor to keep Carol busy.

It's from below decks that another arrives, a meta-human, at least to judge from the ball of fire being coalesced in their hands with slow patience.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"You wanna tell me why you're shooting willy nilly with complete disregard to the fact people might be on the dock?" Captain Marvel asks, glaring at the men, "besides, you seem a bit too heavily armed for regular container guarding, keeping any secrets here?" She asks aloud, before the meta-human ascends from below deck. "Play with fire, you might get burnt," she warns with a playful wink, for now keeping her distance from the obvious meta.

Molly Millions has posed:
The meta doesn't appear to be concerned, or perhaps they simply don't speak English given that he shows no sign of stopping his preparation before finally flinging the bright orange ball at Carol. It's somewhere behind that meta that another shot comes. Molly electing to ignore the one's being occupied by the flyer in favor of shooting the guy that had been running away in the back, only to pull back and try to go the other way when the meta starts to pivot her way.

The one with the gun trying to shoot at his friend utters something invective, stabbing a finger after the coward,"Mind your own business!" is his harshly accented English impression for Carol.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol figures the meta human is easily the biggest threat, she can't gauge his power level quite yet, but she won't willingly step into a power she doesn't know. That would lead to bad consequences, instead she shows her speed, by taking to the air and flying fast enough to attempt to knock the meta and his colleagues down with an impromptu sonic boom. "Down boys!"

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly wasn't exactly expecting that, for sure, she dives around the far side of the cabin, but the boom still rattles her senses. It's obvious that Carol doesn't really need her help, but apparently she's quite alright with shooting a guy on the ground given the way she leans around the side of the cabin to put a bullet into the one that kept his feet. One of the ones who had surrendered apparently figures the drop off the side of the boat is better than hanging around and takes a dive while the lean woman starts to prowl towards the fallen meta and his companions... and this the Captain by default.

It's not, from the way the silver lenses look up towards Carol assessingly, that she discounts her as a potential threat, but from the way she racks her rifle she's going to put a bullet in to the meta next unless she's stopped, a grim-faced creature unimpressive in her plain black jacket, jeans, boots, neither tall nor broad enough nor possessed of enough overt weaponry to be easily declared anything other than a woman with a grudge.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Captain Marvel takes a quick look about to make sure she neutralized everyone, before moving to lift up the meta, grabbing him in an armbar hold, just to make sure he won't be trying anything funny. "Don't shoot him," she tells Molly, "I don't know who you are...but obviously you're not with these trigger happy idiots, so what are you doing on this ship?"

Molly Millions has posed:
"I'm being paid to shoot him." Molly offers evenly, for all that she wisely elects to keep the rifle pointed towards the deck rather than at the Captain,"And the rest of them, for that matter." she's got no particular qualms in admitting,"As to why... one of the people in that container." she uses the rifle to indicate which,"Is the daughter of the person paying me." her accent has elements of the Tri-State area in it, without actually matching any of them, the underlaying accent just slightly... off,"Now obviously... shooting you is a waste of bullets, and you're not on the list... so how about you go let them out, and I'll finish my job." sounds reasonable to her at least

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"How about we free all the people from the containers, and I'll get these guys some richly deserved jail time, without shots being fired..." Captain Marvel's alternative suggests she's not a fun for randomly killing when it's not necessary, these goons are beaten, she's not about to let Molly murder them. But she is all for releasing their captives. Shocker.

Molly Millions has posed:
"Oh great... you're one of them." Molly mutters with a shake of her head,"Lady... jail doesn't work. Lock them up, they get out and do this all over again... my way you don't ever have to worry about it ever again. Y'don't even need to get your hands dirty... either." she does settle the rifle up closer to herself, for all that she has the trigger discipline to keep her finger off the trigger itself as she expels a breath through her nose.

"I've got no fight with you... but I leave before the job's finished I'm just going to have to come back again later." she asserts as she brings the rifle up in the direction of one of the fallen.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"That's where you're wrong," Captain Marvel snorts as she gets the 'one of those' speech from Molly. She knows that the element of surprise is a strong factor in beating expectation, and know that she knows the kind of read Molly has on her, she uses super speed to give Molly the kind of push that will put her in the water, while she gets the goons into custody and releases their captives for the authorities to sort out. Yeah, Molly read right, Carol is on the side that believes in multiple chances. The optimistic side. But then she read wrong in that Carol isn't typical, she's not always straight as a ruler, and her solution to this situation was simply to delay confrontation and avoid wasting time with needless posturing. She has no doubt in her mind Molly would survive a little dip in the water.
