Aquaman has posed:
Arthur Curry was there to meet the arriving Mera, he's in casual clothes, jeans, a t-shirt, etc. The Xebel Royal is given an opportunity to change as well, should she wish to, before they are out to Oyster Bay and Morgan Park.

"It is great to see you again, Mera." Arthur says to the redhead, flashing a warm smile over towards her, "How have you been? It has been too long since we've been able to spend time with one another."

Aquawoman has posed:
    Mera walks out wearing a t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans as well. "I know Arthur. Xebel's still trying to isolate themselves fromt he 'tyrannical king'." She says rolling her eyes. "You know how the people are when there's someone outside of their borders." She then sighs. "What have you been doing since I've had to deal with.....them, and try to convince them to take down their barrier?"

Aquaman has posed:
"Well, I can make a visit if you'd like, in the near future." Arthur offers, nodding his head faintly towards Mera. "There have been a few incidents with surface folk, attempting provocation I believe, but they have so far been handled without causing any major incidents, though. And the usual Justice League, and governmental business has kept me rather occupied."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "We'll see. I've managed to convince them you're not a tyrannical dictator, for one. But one step at a time." Mera then sighs. "So...where have you brought me, Arthur? Other than above the surface of the water...."

Aquaman has posed:
"Morgan Park." Arthur says to Mera, gesturing about a bit, "We're off a place called Oyster Bay. It's a nice place, a lot of residential areas, and some local business. I figured you'd appreciate being on the sea still first, but we can go and visit the Hall of Justice later, if you'd like."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "All right, Arthur. We can worry about the Hall of Justice later." Mera says as she walks along with Aquaman along the street. A leisurely walk isn't giong to kill her at all.

Aquaman has posed:
"Plus, we can stop in at the Big Belly Burger out here and get some lunch together." Arthur says with a chuckle and a nod of his head as he strolls along beside the redhead. "So, how long do you plan on staying here on the surface with us? You should have rooms at the Embassy if you'd like, or I can arrange a Hotel stay for you if you'd prefer, there are some very nice ones in Metropolis."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "Depends upon how well behaved Xebel and Atlantis is in our absence, Arthur. How close is metropolis to the bay though? I would still like to get my feet wet every now and then." Mera says softly. "Also, who're your friends in the Justice League?"

Aquaman has posed:
"Oh, quite close, plus there will be a pool if you need it as well, at a large bath. Plenty of options." Arthur says with a little gesture of his hand suggesting it's no big deal. "And my friends in the Justice League?" he hmmns softly, "Diana Prince, of course. You would like her. There is The Green Lantern, the Flash, Superman as well, and Batman, as well as J'on, a Martian if you believe that but he's been off on personal business lately. Those are the core of the Justice League."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "Huh. You'll have to introduce me to them as we meet them, Arthur. And only one woman in your ranks? I'm surprised you haven't tried to hit on her, Arthur." Mera says nudging him on the shoulder.

Aquaman has posed:
"There are three other women, The Black Canary, Power Girl, and Zatanna Zatara, but they are newer members we have brought into the fold." Arthur says with another little chuckle, and he shrugs his shoulders at Mera, "It would be a tough sell to convince the people of Atlantis to accept a surface dweller as their queen, and I would hate to make things awkward for the team as well."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "Plus the pressure of the deep would all but kill most air breathers." Mera says bluntly. "So what is this....belly buster burger? Is it anything like Freckle Bitches from that....video game we managed to get running, Saint's Row?"

Aquaman has posed:
"Yes, it's something like that." Arthur agrees with a nod of his head at Mera, chuckling softly, "And yeah, bringing them home to Poseidonis would be rather challenging as well, though we do have dry rooms and places that could accomodate surface dwellers, it would be tough for most to fully integrate. And, I figured you might like a little surface cuisine on your visit, it is hardly fancy, but it is quite a popular chain of eateries."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "Well....I could do with something different, Arthur." Mera says as she walks along with him. "At worst it would taste terrible, I imagine." She then looks to him. "SO this is where you've been all this time, huh?"

Aquaman has posed:
"I split most of my time between Poseidonis, and here." Arthur nods an affirmitive towards Mera as they stroll, glancing over towards her, "It is a bit of a commute back and forth, but an important one. And, if you don't like it, we'll find you something that might be more palattable to you."

Aquawoman has posed:
    "You're just getting soft, Arthur. And I can swim faster than you." She says softly. "Oh well...lead the way to the dinner place, Arthur."

Aquaman has posed:
"Then why is it you always let me win?" Arthur teases the woman at that, grinning faintly her way before gesturing, "It's just this way. Let's go and get some food then we can see about getting you a place to stay next."
