Cast of Characters: Havok, Cyclops

Havok has posed:
Alex has been gone, AWOL, for a few weeks. It's not unlike him to just disappear and need alone time. He's always been hot tempered and often irrational especially when faced with familial challenges. Something he will likely struggle with. Though now, the AWOL was extreme. If anyone looked, he was not sensed/found/detected by telepaths or cerebro. Just no trace. Other than he last logged that he was going into the city to blow off steam. Or something vague.

On a particular evening, an anomali was detected above the Academy of Tomorrow. It came and went within a few seconds. Likely some blip on the mutant radar that involved the Academy students or somesuch. Either way, within the hour, Scott will be disturbed by a wrapping on his door from hard knuckles of an impatient brother who announces through the door, "Scott, you in there?"

Cyclops has posed:
Scott, contrary to popular belief had been concerned with where Alex had gone off to. Especially once he fell off the grid. It had been unusual even for Havok. Scott had still maintained his stoic facade but those who knew him would have been able to tell there was something wrong.

Ruby quartz lenses dart in the direction of the door rapping. He'd heard a familiar voice, and already started to make his way over to the door. "Alex?" He said, opening the door, his eyebrows arched, hoping in some small way he had heard correctly.

Havok has posed:
Presenting in an unfamiliar black super suit with large white series of concentric circles emitting from the chest alongside silver bracers and head covering that's pulled back from his unkempt blonde hair; Alex Summers looks over his brother like an eager puppy charged with seeing a long lost friend. Though his eyes don't appear the same as they did weeks prior. They seem darker, more involved or experienced. Something a brother may immediately pick up on.

Upon seeing Scott, Alex will smile and say, "Bro, dude. I didn't think I'd ever see you again..." His tone is serious, considerate of a potential loss, and very clear in meaning. At least to him. Though on the other side of the declaration, it could be confusing.

Also, Alex moves into the room intent on taking Scott in a brotherly embrace of 'long-lost' themes. He'll be intent on hugging fully but for a brief moment.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott didn't say anything at first, opting to just give Havok the hug he had initiated. Cyclops' eyes closed from even behind his glasses. "I'm glad you're back." He offers, before releasing the embrace. "What happened?" The tone of Alex's previous statement made him concerned, and of course he had no clue what had occurred.

Havok has posed:
There's a moment of silence as Alex tries to put it into words. He moves to the side and looks around the room. His eyes appear to identify things he's not seen in years. "I..." he pauses, rewords. "I've been away for a very long time.". Alex turns to look at his brother and says, trying to be more clear. "Dani said it's been only a few weeks here. But where I went, it was about 6 years. I've been in an alternate reality."

Cyclops has posed:
The now younger Summers brother raised his eyebrows, almost not believing what Alex was saying. "Six years?" Scott made his way to the large window, looking out and giving a grimace. "Alex, I..." He pauses, not quite able to put the words together. "I'm sorry." There had been no other way to say it at this point.

Havok has posed:
Alex watches his brother's reaction and then movement to the window. "Actually, Scott. Nothing to be sorry about. I lived in a world where you were dead. I had a son named Scotty and was married to a girl that looked like Jean, named Madelyne. It was great - for a while. Until Maddy went off the deep end. But, now I'm back and it's like I was never gone because nothing has changed in this world."

Alex also moves to an adjacent window and looks out over the lawn, taking in the unchanged scenery.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott is taken a bit aback by all of that information. "But you are fine right? I mean...you're older than me now." He sighs just a little. "And all that entails." Scott knew there would be some instances of trauma or the like, but he felt that could be helped, not so much of Alex only had days to live or worse.

Havok has posed:
"Dude, you'll always be my older brother. Regardless of memories...", Alex says with a half smile. He looks over to Scott and adds, "I'm good. I learned a lot about myself, about what I can do and who I could become. I became that person. I ... well I hate to say it. But I got over my bullshit and grew up. At least a little bit." He chuckles and knows he was a jerk 6 years ago. Especially to Scott. And in this reflection, he states, "I missed ya, Scott. I missed you a lot. It was hard not having my brother around to blast or talk to. It was like when we were seperated all those years. Only to find you and then be a total jerkface."

Cyclops has posed:
Cyclops gives a good bit of a smile. "You kind of were. But then again, I'm not too good on the whole...talking thing." He'd been a bit of a jerk too, and well, brothers will be brothers. Then the missed years are brought up, something that Scott tried to forget, they both had their fair share of trauma between them. "I...missed you too, jerkface." He offers, a wide smile on what had usually been a stoic Scott.

Havok has posed:
The smile is returned and Alex turns from the window and will say, "I've got to sit down and write up a report. Then head down and have Hank do some tests. I want to make sure everything is cool and I'm not gonna fall back into some other reality again. Still don't know why and that's a big question on my mind." He starts walking toward the door. He definitely has new direction and focus in his life. Doesn't have to be told or instructed on his next steps. When he gets to the door, he turns and says, "I had my own team over there. We called ourselves the 6. Like the X-Men, we were freedom fighters. We worked with Magneto. Xavier wasn't in the picture. I learned a lot about a lot of stuff. It'll be in my report. But with this in mind. I want my own strike team here." He'll open the door and start to move through, giving Scott something to think about.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott nods. "I look forward to reading it. " He easily moves from brother to X-Man in no time flat. "We'll help you answer that, trust me." Scott offers, looking to Alex, then the thought of having his own strike team. Cyclops had to mull that one over. "Let's talk about it sometime. Gather a list of who you'd want and we can go from there." He was determined to at least hear him out, given his most recent experiences.

Havok has posed:
Alex smiles, pleased with the reaction of his brother. Then moves out the door and into the hallway in route to his next destination. Answering those questions and bringing more to light.
