No Horses in the Pool

Synopsis:	Sleeping by poolside... what could possibly go wrong?

Boom-Boom has posed:
It's a late summer day, sunny if not a little breezy. The school is quiet, for the most part - better than the day before when SOMEONE had to have a screaming fight out on the patio. But that's forgotten. It's a nice day to go to the pool!

There's a blond girl out at the pool, dressed in a blue two-piece bikini, stretched out on a chaise working on her tan. There's the remains of a Sam Guthrie blueberry pie nearby and cans of soda. The girl has on a huge pair of sunglasses. She MIGHT be asleep, maybe that's what those little snoring sounds are?

Moonstar has posed:
Suddenly, there's a shadow flying over the pool area. Looking up, one can see the distinct form of Brightwind, Dani's winged stallion, circling around the pool. Danielle is in her one-piece black-and-yellow swimsuit, and grins as she spots Tabby snoozing by the pool. She whispers something to Brightwind...

And suddenly the horse banks down, nearly skimming the surface of the pool then climbing sharply by the deep end. And that's where Dani jumps off, shouting, "BANZAI!!!" as she splashes hard into the pool, water flying everywhere. Including towards a snoozing Tabby that might be having a bit of a pie-over.

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday had her black lace parasol over her as she was wandering about the grounds and happens to come up on the pool just as there is a Dani on a winged stallion. Her head tilts to the side then her eyes go wide as she realizes what is about to happen and quickly moves her parasol to block the splash of the water upon herself. She shakes off her parasol as she draws closer wearing a black cover up with her black string bikini with silver skulls upon it underneathe and instead of her high heeled mary janes, she is wearing black flip flops. A small black tote is off her arm and she is beginning to let it lower into her hand from the crook of her arm as she sits down on the lawn chair, waiting to see what may happen next.

Boom-Boom has posed:
"Arrrgh!" shrieks Tabitha as she's very rudely awakened by far too much pool water. She stands suddenly, her sunglasses gone and her hair waterlogged. She looks very drowned-rat. "Wha'? Who? Arrgh!" she fumes. She looks up and spies the horsey, then looks to the pool. "MOONSTAR!!!" she shouts and starts lobbing time-bombs into the pool after the war chief. "I WILL murder you! I'll sell your pony to the glue factory! I'll... I'll..."

Moonstar has posed:
Well, Dani /was/ about to apologize, though her laughter might make it seem less than sincere... well, until she starts getting artillery being thrown at her. Quickly she dives deep into the pool, swimming quickly under the water and as far away from Tabby as she can manage.

Brightwind, meanwhile, looks down at the pool area, then glides in for a landing near Wednesday, nickering a bit as he looks over at the new arrival, sniffing towards her with an air of unmistakable curiosity. The horse then looks at Tabby, and looks pure and innocent as only a winged stallion can.

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday goes wide-eyed as the time-bombs are being throw into the pool then is distracted. Oh look a horsey! She digs around in her bag and manages to find a small bag with sugar cubes in it and places three upon her hand before offering them to the horse with her palm completely flat. One mustn't get bit after all, accident or intentional. She softly comments "Silly horse." She then looks to Tabitha and offers "I have an extra towel if you need it?" Almost worried to offer cause she doesn't want a bomb thrown at her, she can stop it from coming at her but she is still a little shy with her powers even though she has been at the school for the past 5 years.

Boom-Boom has posed:
Boom-Boom pants in fury, but her murderous rage lessons as her plasma bombs explode in the water, showering more water everywhere. Then she notes the unfamiliar face offering her a towel, like something out of a black and white picture. "Huh. You're new."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani, meanwhile, takes advantage of Boomer getting the towel to sneak out of the pool at the shallow end. She might be humming Ride of the Valkyries to herself as the timebombs going off in the pool might be reminding her of Apocalypse Now. She tries to make sure that the horse stays between her and Tabitha, seeking as much cover as she can get.

Brightwind, meanwhile, perks up at the offer of SUGAR CUBES! OM NOM NOM NOM. The horse nickers happily, then as Boom-Boom comes closer, he just looks at Tabitha, giving her the most soulful cute anime-horse-it-was-my-rider-not-my-fault-honest-I-wuv-you eyes.

Tendril has posed:
    "Daniiiii, you could have at least let me catch up first!" comes another voice as Alexia comes jogging down. "Flying is cheat....ing?" She slows, blinking at the scene a bit...mostly that a good amount of the water in the pool is now well outside the pool. And Tabitha looks like most of it landed on her. She quirks a silvery brow as she pads closer, then jumps as some of the time bombs finish going off, as she blinks. "...uh..is this, like, a type of water game I don't know or somethin'?" she asks, looking between everyone.

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday holds the towel out as she says "I'm Wednesday. I tend to keep to myself. Especially since my dad died. But trying to like... get over it so I thought some socialization would be best." With how pale her skin is, she rarely goes out in the sun or it at least seems that way, especially with the fact she has that parasol in hand. She giggles as the horse lips tickle on her palm and begins to gently run her hand along the neck of the horse as she says "Haven't been around a horse since I was a preteen. I am glad this one likes me and sugar cubes though." Her eyes briefly flit to Moonstar before looking back to Tabitha as she asks "What is your name?" Then she looks to Alexia as she enters, tucking her parasol between her arm and her body so she can wave hello and offers a shrug of unsureness.

Boom-Boom has posed:
"Don't you hide from me, woman!" Tabitha barks. "Look, you ruined my pie! Sammie baked that and I stole it from the kitchen fair and square!" She brushes her now-damp hair out of her eyes. "I know where you sleep, girl." The blonde doesn't toss any more bombs, though. She shrugs too. "I'm Tabitha, but noone calls me that. Everyone calls me 'Boom-Boom'."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani grins, poking her head out from behind the horse, "Can I make you a plate of deviled eggs as a peace offering, Tabby?" She tilts her head, "Also, clubbing. I know an 'in' for some really great raves in the city. Oh, and hi, Wednesday. You can call me Dani, and this is Brightwind." The winged stallion whinnies in acknowledgement, as if he understood Dani perfectly.

Then Dani glances back towards Alexia, and smiles, "Well... um... I needed to make sure Brightwind got his exercise?" Because she totally wasn't plotting this from the get-go to get some unsuspecting nappers poolside. Really!

Tendril has posed:
    Lexi snorts at that, hand on her hips. "Suuuuure you are." She waves back to Wednesday, looking at her and TAbitha curiously. "Hey! I sleep there too, so no tossin....bombs or whatever in my room!" she says, her eyes twinkling. "...wait until she goes to the bathroom." she suggests. She offers her hand to the pair. "I'm Lexi. Pleased ta meetcha." She's got a definite New York accent to her voice, with a slightly odd accent.

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday nods softly and says "You can call me Oddity if you perfer Boom-Boom, most of my classmates do cause of well... my things and such. I don't mind the name though." She oohs and looks to Dani as she says "Deviled eggs are yummy, though I make mine without relic. I just don't like the crunchy texture when I eat them. And you mention raves? And it is nice to meet you Dani. What all is Brightwind along to nibble on? I don't want to give him something that will make him sick after all." Her attention then looks to Lexi and takes the offered hand as she says "I am Wednesday or as I said. Oddity. Nice to meet you as well. No idea what my room assignment will be now or if I will have a roomie."

Boom-Boom has posed:
Tabitha purses her lips, thinking a moment. "Well, alright. I guess I'll let you off the hook." that dor Dani. She quirks a smile. "I guess it WAS pretty funny." She turns her smile on Wednesday. "Nice to meetcha." and she pads back to where she had been sleeping... er, sunning... to collect her huge purple sunglasses and slip them back on. "Better." She gives Alexia a wave. "Hey, Foxy." There was a hand offered by the mauve girl and she takes it. A look back to Wednesday. "Nah. You're not the weirdest one here, so you're good."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani grins, and looks over at Wednesday, "Well, Wednesday, I'll be more than happy to include you on the batch of deviled eggs. We just need to make sure Mr. Wagner doesn't eat them all when we're not looking." She chuckles a bit, then looks over her shoulder at Lexi, "Geez, good to know you have my back, roomie!" Her lips quirk in a sly grin, as she looks back to Wednesday, "Well, he pretty much eats like a regular horse, so sugar cubes are okay in moderation, apples... he eats a little more protein than a normal horse, because he burns more with his flight."

Tendril has posed:
    "Yeah, it might break th' TV if she tosses bombs in! WE got movie nights to consider." she says, walking over to sits down on the pool edge, dangling her feet in the water. "Nice ta meetcha both." she adds cheerfully. "Um, you girls are new? Or just ya were gone for th' summer?" she says curiously, then peers over at Dani. "Like he eats 'em in moderation..." she mutters, well aware of Brightwings tendency to inhale whatever is offered to him.

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday smiles at Tabitha's words and says "If you say so. Some of my classmates freak out about my... collections is all." She giggles and asks "Mr. Wagner? And I could help watch them if you like. I can also cook too. And what kinda protein can he have?" Her hand goes back to stroking along the neck of the horse. She looks to Alexia as she says "Oh I was gone for the summer cause my dad died. Had to bury him and handle the will and all that stuff. Such a headache, thankfully the family lawyer handled most of it just sooo much paperwork to sign. And what kinda movie nights do you guys have?"

Boom-Boom has posed:
"I wasn't gonna spend all summer here, nosiree." Tabby says in response to Foxy. "I had things to do." She rubs at her hair with a reclaimed towel. "If you put horseradish or something in my deviled eggs, I will end you, war chief." She nods to Wednesday. "Sorry about your dad, especially if you liked him."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani looks affronted, "My grandfather would come from Valhalla just to smack me around for defiling his recipe that way Tabby!" She nods and gives Wednesday a sympathetic look, "My grandfather, well, he died a few years ago, it was... complicated." You know, being killed by a demon bear that was possessing your parents and all that. Complicated. But then Dani smiles a little, "But Lexi's right, we do have movie nights pretty regularly in our room, or the rec room if there's too many people, and you'd be more than welcome to hang out with us Wednesday. Oh, and typically it's just a little bit of extra soy mixed into his normal feed. Brightwind's metabolism is a bit strange. Think it's all the Asgardian oats he ate up there." The horse nickers again at that.

Tendril has posed:
    Of the three...Alexia is the one who just nods solemnly as she peers up at Wednesday. "....condolences." she says soberly, then leans back on her hands. She isn't making any further sign that she's going to actually ENTER the pool, just enjoy sitting by it. "Yeah, we been watchin' old movies I got on sale! Lotsa old DVD an' bluray stuff. Ya like that sorta thing?" she asks the two curiously. "Cuz more th' merrier, really."

Boom-Boom has posed:
"I think we oughta go out sometime, take the whole crew to a movie." Boomer pipes up. "Except Twilight Sparkle here." and she jerks a thumb at Brightwind. "He'd eat all the popcorn anyway." She thinks a moment. "Or we could leave the boys home to watch some sportsball or whatever boys do together."

Oddity has posed:
Wednesday shrugs her shoulders as she says "He is still around, just like... not physically. It is alright. And he was all I had left. No siblings and mom died when I was born soooo now just me." She smiles to Dani as she says "Movie night sounds cool. I have a collection of horror movies we could watch together sometime. And maybe it is for Brightwind? You would know more about him than I would after all." A smile given. She looks to Alexia as she says "I do yeah. Especially the older movies. I really like Guys and Dolls. Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando are sooo dreamy in that movie." She perks up and says "Wait... are you suggesting a girl's only outting? Cause I would be sooo down for that. We could go shopping after the movie."

Moonstar has posed:
Dani smiles, "That sounds perfect, I'll have to ask Rahne if she wants to come along too." She chuckles, "I'll leave Brightwind at home, don't worry. I'll even leave the armor and sword at home too." Wait, was that a joke?
