Oracle has posed:
In the shadows of Gotham - criminals still flourished. Petty crime, for the most part - the crumbling infrastructure of this place a haven to those who wanted to try to avoid the more superpowered crime fighters. They'll take their chances with the Bat - or the bevy of other crimefighters that otherwise fill Gotham.

But they had to play smart.

Tony "Two Toes" Morelli thought he was playing smart. Thought he could hit a bank hard, with a group of guys, file into a delivery truck marked with 'Gotham Laundry' with his guys, and drive off to an abandoned warehouse to split the loot. That was his /plan/, at least. It started off working great. In and out of the bank in sixty seconds with the shift change, filing into the delivery truck, and gone within five minutes.

Far too quick for even the police to respond. Not a shot fired, even!

Until now. Ricky Moreno - this bozo from Maine that he had picked up for the job, was waving his pistol in Tony's face, demanding a double cut or he'd put a bullet in him. Now - guns from the rest of the seven goons in total were drawn out, waving around everywhere. "C'mon guys - we pulled it off! Plenty of money here for everyone!"

...or did he pull it off?

In one of the wheelwells of the truck, a batshaped metal object starts to flash red. A tracker.

Batwoman has posed:
Morelli and the gang entered a warehouse on a dark street a fair ways from the bank. They've shut down or evaded the street cameras and met up with decoy vehicles in order to obfuscate their trail for anyone following them. It's an almost perfect crime but the devil is in the details

This alley is two brick warehouse flanking one another, each about six stories tall, with old metal fire escapes and a huge steel dumpster. it's the sort of alley people see in books when something horrible is about to happen to an unsuspecting, lost protagonist. It's wide enough for a truck but only just. In the shadows here a bat has been hiding, watching for the truck. She noted each man as he entered, counted their guns, an invisible observer as they headed into the building one by one.

As things go from bad to worse inside the warehouse there is movement outside. It's just a shadow really. A flowing red mane of hair behind a dark shadow, chest splashed with crimson in the shape of a a hellish bat. She scales the fire escape and is soon atop the warehouse, standing near the skylight at the top.

One bat tracked the truck. The other has been laying in wait the entire time.

Oracle has posed:
Of course it was an app on her smartphone. The BATGIRL follows the pings on the smartphone she holds, holding out her hand to aim her BatLauncher at a nearby rooftop. With a 'thwip' the cord was released, the hook wrapping around the gargoyle. "Boy, it was lucky that I was there making a deposit - you know, I don't think they even know about me!" she says to no one in particular.

With a hop up, she swings towards the warehouse proper, angling her motion to use the forward momentum to kip up to the roof proper. There was a soft buzz - someone was responding. "Jeez, you're worse than my dad sometimes. I'll be fine, there's only seven of them. It's barely a warmup! Alright, gotta focus, think I caught up to 'em..." at least, the green dot on her smartphone had stopped.

Unwrapping the cord from around the gargoyle, she stores the launcher on her utility belt, sliding the phone into a titanium BatPouch on her belt. Creeping across the roof - she jumps down onto one of those fire escapes, and pries open a window, slinking inside.

"...it's like a Tarantino movie in here," she mumbles, the criminals down below probably distracting each other enough with their yelling and arguing.

Batwoman has posed:
That's when everything goes sideways. Small metal spheres tumble from the ceiling into the middle of the cluster of mafioso. There's an explosion, a cacophonous amount of force and noise with brilliant light. Men are reeling amid the force of flashbangs thrown from the ceiling.

Next there's movement atop the building. A familiar shadow- a winged cape like a bat on a slender figure. People are shouting. "Bat...?" That's when the gunfire starts. It's a pistol. One of the mafiosi falls to the floor but there's no blood. A ballistic vest. Still, people are running for cover and screaming...

No one has seen Batgirl. Not in the chaos.
