Cast of Characters: Thor, Molly Millions

Thor has posed:
It's later on in the day as you show up where Thor is. With you working at the tower it's a lot easier to at least stay in contact, even if he has turned into your very own hazing squad with some of the questions he's managed to come up with to ask you. One of them requesting to know how many steps there are in Stark Tower. Another fun one of course was to know the level tint on the glass and if it got thicker as you got higher since there would be less cover from surrounding structures the higher you go. Yes...he's been a peach. But...he also gives you benefits, like someone to spar with. So on this temperate but rainy New York Day, he's already at the beach, sitting on a rock in a rather peaceful, almost meditative pose with a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and some hiking boots with a very good tread to them.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly still drives that battered black and grey sedan. Lux, it's not, but it at least fits in with the persona of Sally the intern. He's been good for practicing at least staying in role for the proverbial audience while nettling him back, but here, today? She doesn't have to be Sally. Molly, on the other hand, hadn't really experienced 'woods' before she landed in 2025, and thus it takes a while for her to get to that grotto simply because without her GPS in her skull she'd be hopelessly turned around by this whole 'wilderness' thing. At least the nanites help with making sure she's not actually winded when she finally emerges onto the beach wearing her usual boots, pants, singlet,"Y'just wanted to see if I could actually walk through the woods without getting lost, didn't you?" she complains even as her gaze sweeps over the grotto.

Thor has posed:
It's a nice grotto, leading out from the woods to a decent sized stream that runs quickly, the rain picking up the pace. There's about a four foot waterfall and the hint of a cave behind it, though the pool in front of it hints at the fact it probably goes deeper than one might expect, and you'd have to be fully wet to find it. He grins as he looks up, and he says, "I knew you wouldn't get lost. Your other you I have absolutely no faith in but you, you would find a way. You're resourceful," he says with a grin, both complimenting and mocking you at the same time. "Besides...you've never gotten to fight with me around trees. For all I know you can pick them up and start swinging them around at me and make me have to practice dodging giant weapons." Or not...but you can probably use those razors to climb up some and change the angles of attack?

Molly Millions has posed:
"My other self is supposed to seem like she can barely handle fetching coffee correctly... that's sort of the point. My job is to watch for aberrant behavior and corporate spies, not to make Susan think I'm the greatest intern to ever intern. In fact... the less competant they think I am... the less they ask me to do." there's a shrug of her shoulders as she prowls over to eye the waterfall with her hands on her hips,"It is a view that's worth climbing all the way out here... but no, I haven't been tuned to rip trees out of the ground to beat you with, yet." she steps off a few paces,"So. When people... pray... to War, do you hear it?"

Thor has posed:
He grins as you talk about Susan but then you ask such a question and he raises his brow slightly. "Look at you coming in heavy with the serious questions," he says and he hops up from his meditative pose, not that he moves forward much. He's gone from sitting on the stone rock to leaning against a dree as he puts his hands into the hoodie and he looks after you. "I do not," he says. "Not...in the way that I'm sure you mean. It's not as if I were on any planet that I would hear the silent conversations in one's head if they were to be thinking about me. Prayer, I believe, is about helping one person find the strenght to do things they don't think they're capable of but need to have done anyway. But...if we're on the same plane....same planet...and you were to speak out loud there's a good chance I could hear you from a distance so....it's possible if you were praying I could hear it.'

Molly Millions has posed:
"Good." there's a slight nod of Molly's head as she elects to strip off her boots and set them aside near his rock,"Don't worry, I wont come calling on you to save my ass from my own stupid shit. Was mostly just curious how that all works, especially with multiple gods of the same... flavor? Or whatever it is? On the same plane. Aside from the church of the retransfiguration, faith died a long time ago in my world. And the closest we ever had to a god was an artificial intelligence who decided it was easier to communicate with us through that filter. So. Not used to this whole... deities... thing." she presses her lips together in a thin line,"But we came here to fight, yeh?"

Thor has posed:
"I think you put a curious amount of stock into it," he says quietly. "So the question people usually ask is who is the first god? Where does creation come from? How was the world made? If you take a more pragmatic view, gods are people who can do wonderous things that other people cannot. Miracle workers. To many i could be viewed that way - I'm stronger, faster, more powerful, could roll over entire planets...to many that's worthy of fear or worship. For others, it means that they hope I might be on their side should someone else like me come and seek to be not so friendly. Then there's those with more knowledge, or those who can time travel....it is really quite a doozy of a conversation, especially since the first thing I'd ask you is...define what a god is?"

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly gives a grunt as she prowls off to roll up her pants,"I don't give a flying fark who the first god was, Thor. What matters to me is whether I got to watch out for you suddenly deciding it's a great idea to show up." there's a terseness to her words, a defensive kind of brusqueness as she finds a spot, digging her toes into the gritty sand to get the whole squishy creepy cold feeling of wet grit over with,"Flying, stronger than hell, faster than me... I don't care. There's always someone faster, stronger, younger, there's no point in wondering about that. Around here ten times that because of the number of people who can do the impossible. So I know what I wanted to, let's fight."

It's in the flat way she says it, she doesn't want to get deeper into the philosophical than that, and in fact, something about it annoys the ever-loving hell out of her, even, for all that the way she breathes she's endeavoring to refind her own calm.

Thor has posed:
"Well...then..." he says, looking over to you. "Would you care to tell me what has you in such a foul mood? Or are you just getting psyched up about our conflict," he says, as he takes off his sweatshirt and hangs it on a branch, before removing his shoes as well. His pants are going to stay on, because he's nto actually planning on going in the water. Hre gards you though curiously, "I'm not sure what it is I said that has caused you such offense," and it's clear he's not pleased that he did, whether because he said it or because you took it that way...that part still likely needs to be worked out. And so he walks over towards a nice little cleraing in between the break in the forest and the water itself, and gives you a look...the kind that says he's probably going to take the fact that he's not happy out on you.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly seems content not to answer the first question posed, though the snort she gives suggests it's nothing to do with their bout, but the further statement at least gets her to say a vaguely apologetic,"Sorry. It's not you. I was friends with Ares." there's a slight emphasis on the word 'was', for all that there's nothing in her posture that suggests she's not prepared to eat that displeasure in the way that she holds herself. There's no further explanation forthcoming right now, just that focus. Like maybe she plans on taking out that mad anyways so being mad at her is a-okay.

Thor has posed:
"And?" He isn't one to just enjoy a mystery and he looks at you, beckoning to you to come at him. One of these days you're going to get him good enough that he'll have to bring his armor with him but apparently that's not today. He's standing there, still unarmored, his arms folded over his chest as he looks at you, givign a little bounce of his pecs as he grins at you, tauntingly. Cause you know he's a god after all. "You're not now? For what reason?" Not, why? Nope, that would be two easy. Why ask with three letters what he can ask with three whole words instead. And so he turns slowly, looking, waiting for you to come at him, seeming to decide that grumpy bear gets to make the first attack.

Molly Millions has posed:
"And now I'm not." the obstinate cyborg provides a thoroughly uninformative answer as she circles slowly, calculating. The bounce makes her give a snort,"Just because you're pretty doesn't mean I wont hurt you, y'ought to know that by now. Especially when I know you're just doing that to try and taunt me. Besides, I've seen better." the last is a deliberate verbal jab just to try and distract him at least momentarily. He knows her speed, and she doesn't feel the need to hold it back as she sprints across the sand, aiming to duck and come at him from the side as is her usual wont, why fight the brick head-on when you can go for the soft and tender spots? Comparatively speaking, at least.

Thor has posed:
"I see...." he says. "Aren't you all talkative and informative today. Quite helpful," he says with a bit of a smirk as he looks over to you again, his eyes narrowed just slightly as he focuses on you, seeing you, watching you move and as you come sprinting by you -are- fast, that's for sure. He's fortunate with his senses to be able tot rack you but he doesn't put everything into it just yet. He wants to see what you can do so that as you get behind him, or go by him, he'll keep focused, watching, as his eyes move with you, as he keeps that steady gaze, and as you come at his side he has a guard up, ready, though he knows about those razors. Did you take them out yet? he's watching to see if you do. If you havent', he'll just annoyingly smack at your hands to block, making sure that you feel it, that you feel if his fingers or fists hit yours. He's trying to provoke you to go full heel because obviously, if your blades are out, he can't just go smacking at your hands. At the least, that would be a really dumb idea.

Molly Millions has posed:
"Glad I could be of assistance." somehow, it's even more sarcastic than when she says it in the guise of Sally. That he blocks isn't unexpected. Him moving to block, to smack at her hands, that is aggravating, though. He's invited her to utilize them before, but still, she does at least have the respect that you don't just /do/ that to someone without better reason than just being mad. That doesn't extend to not suddenly dropping her hand to plant it in the muscle of his thigh though, or the subsequent effort to drop further down and sweep his legs. Not pulling her blades is the limit of her idea of 'fair' though. He can take it, why should she be shy with putting her strength and speed behind her strikes? Damned gods and their superior everything.

Thor has posed:
As you hit his leg he can feel it, feel that thigh chop and he laughs, a bit aggressively but he does laugh as you hit him there. "Are you trying to give me a...." and he quickly jumps back before you can sweep him, but you did get that one shot in and he walks around carefully a moment, making sure it's not knotting up. "Well then...if that's how you want to play today," he intones and he walks towards you, and along the way he picks up a stick, something he can use as if he were using a sword. He's a big fan of weapons mind you. Have you ever been spanked? It's a rhetorical question, cuase his goal is goign to be to start prodding at you like he were swinging a weapon, to get himself around and around so that he can work on you just right until you're all turned around and he can thwap you RIGHT on the ass with the thick branch. Yup, it's annoying and insulting but it's what he's going to work for.

Molly Millions has posed:
A stick... a STICK? Molly smiles, but it's lacking in humor. He wanted the blades, well, that stick might manage to poke at her and get swatted and his greater reach combined with it might deliver her a swat, but that's apparently the point where she decides she's had enough of that, the blades emerging in a downward stroke to turn his impromptu sword into a toothpick with the blades on her right when she grabs the end of it with her left, tossing it at the tree line casually afterwards,"We both know that this is just a massage with fists for you. Which is good... means I don't have to worry about hurting you too bad." she drawls,"But you keep poking me with sticks and I'm going to get a little stabby. You want to go there?"
