Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Catseye, Wolfsbane, Kaelyn Silverleaf

Catseye has posed:
Catseye is infamous among the Hellions for doing whatever she happens to want to do at a given moment, regardless of what Emma Frost may have had planned. For the time being, she much prefers exploration for sitting in class, and so she's out and about going on a wanderlust. This time the lavendar cat makes it all the way to Salem Center, joy! Other than the unique color of her fur, or how well groomed she is despite having no collar, there's nothing really that remarkable about her.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Trouble on the home front, so to speak, and Wolfsbane's ventured out into Salem Center for some time to think to herself. It's not far from the school, and it's a place she's familiar with. With what she is, it's a little easier to go out and not need to hide it. Usually, that is. She takes a side street a couple blocks from one of the main roads, but with the way she's looking around and peeking back in the direction of the woods, perhaps there's another reason she's here now.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye notes a very strange scent coming from Wolfsbane, she doesn't smell like a smoothskin. This is certainly a fascination, she doesn't look like a wolf, but that how she smells like, and so Catseye moves a little closer to Wolfsbane, peeking at her through golden eyes.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane comes with her a mixture of scents, to be sure: something human, something wolfen, and of course, something to do with her clothing. Any one of those could stir curiosity in the right situation, but put together? It's definitely abnormal. So is the lavender cat that comes into view, leading the wolfen woman to slow to a stop, peering down in its direction. "Tha's no' something ye see every day," she comments to herself.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
This is a nice place, people wandering around the center and stuff... Walking around the pond, or a sidewalk. Generaly nice and peaceful.. Most folks dont even stand out... Then suddenly there's a brilliant mane of red hair walking out along the small crowd. Who knows where they came from exactly, it's not like the followed their line and just suddenly showed up, it's as if she just walked out of the space behind a tree or telephone pole... The redheaded woman pauses a bit, the girl arching her back and yawning before she hooks a thumb under her right shoulder-strap and begins to walk again while looking at their phone.. Oddly enough they manage to avoid bumping into folks as they wander. They then look up, brilliant green eyes taking in the place, before he put their phone away and their hands go to their pockets.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye spares a momentary look at the redhead with the phone, but then her gaze returns to the anomaly at hand, sneaking a bit closer, she cautiously bumps her head against Wolfsbane's leg, looking up at her curiously.

Wolfsbane has posed:
The focus of Wolfsbane's attention works in revese. First, it's the purplish feline that's decided to be friendly. "Uhm, hullo? Whit do ye want?" she wonders, not that she's expecting a cat to answer beyond some sort of meow. It's not as if she dislikes cats, but don't they tend to gravitate most toward the ones who would be annoyed by them? The head makes contact and she glances up and away, eyes passing over Kaelyn.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Her path is gradually winding its way toward the cat and Wolfsbane... Kae pauses briefly, now looking around curiously, she then smiles and uses her phone to take a few pictures, before she puts the phone away again and begins walking slowly, her hands going back into the straps of her backpack, her thumbs hooking there as she uses that to take a little strain from the bag off her shoulders. She carries enough weight maybe.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye appears to be smiling at Wolfsbane friendly interest, no kick, nothing thrown at her, and soft spoken. All good signs. She seems to ready herself for a springing pounce, and lest Wolfsbane moves away, she'll try to leap up on Wolfsbane's shoulder.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Excuse me, but do ye always take pictures o' people without asking their permission first?" comes a sudden question from Wolfsbane, directed toward Kaelyn. She probably sounds somewhat annoyed by this, though neither would have anything to base it on beyond the typical reactions from most. Some of that irritation is interrupted by Catseye hunkering down and jumping to reach that shoulder. This draws a peering look.

Catseye has posed:
While the redhead provides some potential tension between herself and Wolfsbane, Catseye didn't seem to even be aware of the picture being taken, instead she just leans her head forward, and practically whispers in Wolfsbane's ear, "why she look smoothskin but smell furfriend?"

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae pauses and glances o Wolfsbane, the girl tilting her head a bit then blinking and looking at her phone. She oooh's and smiles as she answers Wolfsbane's challenge "You're not in the picture." she says and shrugs "One picture was a bit of a selfie, the other was the reflection of the buildings and trees off the water." she says and grins "If I aim to take someone else's photo, I ask." She then informs. The girl studies the purple cat curiously then Wolfsbane, before she motions to the water. "As still as it is, it makes for a nifty picture to get the building tops and tree tops relfecting. Thought it was a nice chance at a photo..."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane could have sworn..nevermind. She shakes her head and covers for it by saying, "I must ha' been mistaken, then." She's admittedly a bit more caught up, then, with the voice that's soon heard in one ear. "..whit?" she asks, most definitely surprised that the cat is talking to her like it's the most normal thing around. "Ye can speak?" she whispers back.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye, wont to play games, doesn't reply to the follow up question, instead she just walks across to stand on Wolfsbane other shoulder, turning now to look at the redhead with her camera phone, "meow." That sounded more up to expectations.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae peers at Catseye curiously and the meow, and then looks at Wolfsbane.. "Well really nice cameraphone, it's hard to kinda tell exactly what's in the reticle anyhoo specially if yer not looking at the screen." she says with a slight grin. Her green eyes settle on Caseye again curiously "Not seen many purple cats before." She comments.

Wolfsbane has posed:
If Wolfsbane has a phone on her, it must be tucked away somewhere in the pants or some other folds of her outfit. "I suppose so," she remarks, though she's still more caught up by the strange cat that's decided she's apparently..what was the word? A furfriend? Hands shift to reach for the feline so she might hold Catseye up in front of her, a brow arched in both curiosity and scrutiny. "Neither have I," she adds to the singling out of the cat's coloration.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye is enamored with Wolfsbane enough to allow her to pick her up in her arms, her hind legs flailing a little as she's held out infront of the woman. Blinking, she looks at Wolfsbane expectantly, apparently still thinking she'll get an answer to the question from before, going as far as to add, "answer now?"

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae looks to the cat who's mouth is moving differently than a normal cat... she shrugs a bit and grins before introducing her self "Name's Kaelyn, and y'all are?" she asks curiously, glancing from the purple cat to Wolfsbane and back. She then grins a bit and leans on a nearby tree, the girl studyng the other two curiously as she crosses one ankle over the other.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane's brows narrow further as she holds Catseye more like you're not exactly supposed to, which is to say around the shoulder area with the hind legs left to dangle. "I'm..I can shapechange," she almost whispers back before eyeing Kaelyn again when the name is brought up. "I go by Wolfsbane," she explains, though Catseye understandably has most of her attention right this moment. She doesn't look like she knows quite what to make of all this.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye looks rather ecstatic with Wolfsbane reply, eyes glimmering jovially, as she turns to look at Kaelyn and says, "Furfriend. She right again! Catseye smart."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae peers from the person who's having a conversation with a cat who's mouth doesn't move quite like a normal cat's would, then she hears the shapechange bit and finally puts two and two together before she asks curiously... "Sooo metaphyscial means of transfiguration, Arcane, Genetics?" she asks curiously, glancing from cat to girl. There's no fear, revile, any negative connotation to either her voice or the way she looks at the two sitting on the bench, instead possibly just intense curiosity.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Now close enough for conversations to more easily be shared, Wolfsbane sets Catseye back down on the ground before looking from her to Kaelyn. "It's, ah, genetics," she answers, sounding mildly awkward about it around two complete strangers. "But whit do ye mean?" Now she's asking the cat the question. Surely she's just imagining /that/ part.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye seems quite giddy, pleased to be put down again, and she walks a circle around Wolfsbane, before standing right next to her legs, now looking curiously at Kaelyn, as she talks of weird concepts. "Meow." Again she goes back to pretending she's just a normal cat. Yeah, she likes games.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae glances from the cat to Wolfsbane now, before Kae tilts her head "No intention to intrude I was merely curious." Kae says, now smiling. She thinks for a moment, then tugs a hand made wooden box from her backpack, the girl opening the thing, revealing a brass ball, this having carefully hammered in or carved craters in it, actually resembling the moon. She grins and sets a tiny key in the top of it, winds it up, and with a click the moon opens up into 4 parts and lifts on a thin metal rod it seems that telescopes out, the sound of fine clockwork audible. What was in the moon was a clockwork scene, depicting a small rock outcropping and trees that begin turning like a small music box. Eventually a wolf can be seen making its way along the trees in that little clockwork diaramma. Eventually the tiny clockwork wolf climbs its way to the top of the outcropping and takes up a pose as if it were howling at the giant moon. The wolf's eyes apear to be made out of tiny blue jewels, the trees are made seemingly of bronze, and the outcrpping possibly steel or maybe nickle... Eventually the little diaramma dies down and the moon opens as it twists, then lowers and twists again, the 4 sections closing seemlessly.

Kae grins a bit and motions to the clockwork. "I make gadgets and things like that, find lost things, find antique, ancient books writings and artifacts too.. I run an occult store in Bludhaven... Currently I've been out finding antique books relating to the occult... Also the which trials of he period are quite a popular sell... Did you know that really? The puritans never actually found any real witches?" she says and smiles brightly as she motions to the clockwork "I enjoy that stuff..."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane casts a disapproving glance toward Catseye as the game is continued. Speaking, then not speaking. Rather, speaking like an actual cat again after using human words. It leaves her instead to focus more on whatever Kaelyn's doing with the box and she finds herself peering in the direction of the clockwork wolf and all. "Are ye saying ye made tha'?" Though, there's a hint of hesitation when talk of the occult and witches come up. "I'm..no' really one tae look verra far intae any o' tha' stuff, sorry," she adds, suggesting discomfort through words and body language as she rubs the back of her neck.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae grins a bit.. "Mother and sister's are full boat card-carrying witches." she says and shrugs slowly "Raised in a Pagan family, Wiccans and Druids..." she says and shrugs a bit... "My degree's in computer science, but I really enjoy making these little clockworks.. I find the tedium and the exercise in planning and careful construction of these things to be quite satisfying." she, grins and holds the item out to Wolfsbane and grins "Yer welcome to examine it if you like. The moving mechanisms are mostly in the base." she says and holds the item up box and all... The clockwork is about 8 inches in diameter or so with an open bottom. The seems are just barely visible less one looks very closely.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane keeps an eye on the cat who seems to be more than just a cat, but there's more of a focus on Kaelyn and it's not a terribly trusting one after being told others in her family are witches, Pagans, and so on. "I..see," she answers, and it's like she's visibly closing up a bit, putting up invisible walls around her. She goes so far as to hold up a hand at the offer of whatever the contraption is. "I'm fine wi' looking for noo, thank ye," she says a little too gruffly than she might've meant it.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae grins and stands fully, leaving the clockwork near Wolfsbane "We're wiccans and druids, not the loonatics who are green-skinned and ride around on brooms while randoly turning folks to toads.... NOt our thing." she says and winks "If I don't convince you, look it up, there's plenty on the inernet... Anyhow enjoy the clockwork... I left a business card or two inside the box, if you or your friends like my work feel free to call I can make other things." she says and the girl begins to walk now... Soon she catches up with another crowd, then as she passes behind a tree that firey red hair isn't amongst the crowd any more, either she's put a hat on or is simply gone.

Catseye has posed:
Catseye got distracted chasing a squirrel about, but now that Kaelyn is gone, she saunters back towards Wolfsbane, "now you know?" She asks curiously.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane ends up with a skeptical look on her face, along with the toy or whatever it is Kaelyn has left her. It may need to be checked out to ensure it's not a trap or a bomb or something that would otherwise compromise the school. After all...witch! Ahem. Having almost forgotten about Catseye for a spell, only then does she realize the feline has been missing when she comes back into view and speaks once more. "I..hmm? Whit am I supposed tae know?" she wonders. "Just who are ye?"

Catseye has posed:
"Furfriend...yes?" the purple feline replies, cocking her head sideways curiously, and then she looks around and when she ensures nobody else is watching, she just goes on and shifts into Sharon! Well, mostly entirely human, some feline features remain, though she does put in the effort to hide her fuzzy tail under her skirt, like she was taught.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I'm still no'.." Wolfsbane begins, holding up a finger to emphasize whatever she's about to say, when she stops in the middle of her sentence. "Och! Ye're like me!" she realizes. Mostly, for there are certain differences in them, but on the surface there's definitely the shifter thing going on. "I can do th' same!" Details are quickly noted, from attire to features to tail.

Catseye has posed:
"Sharon said but Furfriend no listen! Silly furfriend!" Sharon laughs and points at her nose, "not smell good? Not like Catseye!" The girl with the purple hair seems mighty pleased with herself, as she does a little spin, "how does Furfriend like Sharon secret? Look good?"

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane had nothing much to go by before. A talking cat? Well, that was odd in its own right, but the brief talk from before didn't shed as much light on matters as this, here and now. She's forgotten all about the clockwork toy for the moment, finding Catseye/Sharon much more interesting in comparison.

"I didna understand before," she explains, leading to her rubbing at one of her ears. "Ye smell..fine, I suppose? Like a cat an' a person, as well. An' I think ye look just fine." Should she show Sharon more of what she can do?

Catseye has posed:
"So...." Sharon looks intently at Wolfsbane, "which is you, Furfriend? Smoothskin or not? Sharon is not, but she fool everyone! Yes! Even Emmamother."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Emma. Emma, Emma, Emma..oh. A look of disbelief is replaced by surprise. "Do ye mean Emma Frost? She's yuir mother?" Wolfsbane blurts, perhaps struggling to figure out how that would even be possible. Maybe she should think harder about her own situation as far as Moira goes. Clearing her throat, she lets Sharon see her completely without any wolfen features, then they come back the way they were after a few seconds. This is done after ensuring there aren't a bunch of eyes on them. "Does tha' answer yuir question a wee bit? But ye say ye're..no'?" It isn't very difficult to figure out the difference in talk of fur and no fur.

Catseye has posed:
Sharon takes a step back, looking at Wolfsbane quite suspiciously, "how she knows?" The girl with the purple hair asks, blinking in surprise. Sharon does relaxes once Wolfsbane shows her power, and responds by clapping, "yes, yes, more pretty, more better."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Sorry, I'm just a wee bit confused about all this," Wolfsbane replies, fiddling with her hands. "Did ye mean how Emma knows, or how I know about her?" Either way, there's a faint smile, if a self-conscious one, at the approval of her power demonstration. "I can also turn tae a wolf. All th' way, like ye as a cat. Och, an' muh name is Rahne."

Catseye has posed:
"How she knows," Sharon points at Wolfsbane to make it clearer. "Hello," Sharon offers with a friendly smile, "furfriend."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane begins to understand somewhat better, leading to it reflected in her expression. "I see. I..go tae a school tha' knows a bit about her, an' ye looked like ye're a mutant like me, so I figured ye must be talking about her." Another one of those twitchy little smiles follows, like she isn't entirely sure what to say or do over all of this. "We..could be friends, I think. If ye want?"

Catseye has posed:
"No." Shaorn is pretty adamant, "Sharon not see Furfriend in school," apparently she has a different school in mind. "Why Furfriend never there? Sharon no see." She does nod at the offer, however, smiling brightly, "Sharon never had furfriend like she, so happy make friends, yes."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane's head shakes slowly back and forth. "Nae, I think we go tae different places. I dinna remember ever seeing ye before, either." That said, the fact the cat-person seems interested in being friends with the wolf-person makes Rahne, for a reason she's yet to work out fully, somewhat happier. It's not bad to get to know others outside the school, is it? "Do ye have many friends?"

Catseye has posed:
Sharon looks stunned as she holds up two fingers, "two place!? Many school!?" She apparently barely withstand the one she knows, thinking there are others makes her sad. "Sharon think, one enough, yes?"

Asked if she has friends, Sharon thinks, and than notes, "Hellions make happy friends, help many times, Sharon help too."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"There are a lot o' schools around, but probably verra few for people like us," Wolfsbane explains, taking a few steps back and forth before she peers at the clockwork stuff again, going so far as to sniff more closely at it. "It's good ye have people ye can get help from when ye need it, though. I've had th' same thing where I go. It..really means a lot sometimes."

Catseye has posed:
"Furfriends?" Sharon asks quizzically, clearly not quite understanding what Wolfsbane means when she says 'us'. "Sharon great on her own, only need Emmamother, yes. Emmamother has rewards!"

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane nods slowly. "Aye..more or less. Fur..friends, an' other friends," she clarifies, looking back Catseye's way at the talk of what 'Emmamother' has for her. "Whit do ye mean by rewards? An' why do ye call her Emmamother?"

Catseye has posed:
"Rewards!" Sharon nods, giggling as she feels like she's on to some big secret, knowing she can get rewards from Emma. Poor Wolfsbane must not even get rewards at her school! How lucky Catseye must be! "Do well, learn lesson, get reward. Easy!" She seems to have a harder time figuring out what issue Wolfsbane must have with how she calls Emma.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane has no doubt realized by now that she's dealing with a bit of a communications gap in trying to talk to Catseye about what, to her, are normal concepts. She tries to learn more about that but will only push so far if it doesn't go anywhere, also seeking to figure out what Sharon means by the rewards, whether it's food, money, or something else. There's even room for a few more questions for her to answer, but before too much more time goes by it comes time for them to part ways. Rahne has responsibilities to deal with, and no doubt Sharon will need to return home before anyone goes searching for her. But, they will find a time and place to meet again.
