The American Museum of Natural History, a place that gets most of its facts right, doesn't always manage it. Wanda walks its halls not for the joy of seeing a great whale or a dinosaur, but seeking something else. Rumour of a bomb, planted somewhere within, is enough to warrant an Avenger's attention. Doubly so if the bomb happens to be the work of an angry alien with teleportation abilities or a beef with a certain popular celebrity scientist running something on 'Alien Life: America's Greatest Scientific Catalyst!' on his very popular online feed.
She at least looks normal, her long wine coat and black ensemble the standard of just about every New York woman nowadays. That of course conceals unfathomably unnatural powers, but such goes with the flow. "This concerns me," she says, "The planetarium runs a program tonight, and the auditorium seems to be hosting some kind of dinner. If we can find it without trouble, no one might notice. Or they will notice when the roof caves in."

Cap on the other hand is dressed down, in proper Steve Rogers garb. The simple baseball cap pulled down hard over his head, the thick puffy jacket that's so out of style it's nice and retro, with a pair of glasses that say 'I'm wearing this to make a statement you just don't get'
To be honest it's the perfect disguise with most people just looking the other way from him thanks to a bit of clever posturing, and a slight slick down of the hair. Just another nerdy college student trying to pretend to be special while stuck at the museum.
"Well we just have to hope it doesn't come to that then." Steve comments calmly doing his best to look bored in spite of this being one of his favorite places to visit. It was just so nifty seeing all the dinos and exhibits, he loved this kind of thing. "I'd place good money that it's at the epicenter of the event, take out as many as you can sort of situation."
