Cast of Characters: Black Rose, Emma Frost

Black Rose has posed:
A 'guest' had arrived, at the Academy. Not an unusual thing, really. But, now that the semester had started, and on a weekend? Well. That was - not entirely common. Though, not unheard of. The girl had, puportedly, according to Emma's secretary asked first if Julian Keller was about. And, having been told he was not, instead of asking to leave a message for him - had instead, asked to see the headmistress herself.
Emma's secretary, no doubt, had told Emma of the rather unsavory look of the girl inquiring to meet with Emma, her punk-rock blue hair, black leather shirt, and fishnets and short-shorts, and all kinds of dubious things.
And, Emma's secretary, too, had told Emma the girls name. Yana Asarov. Not unlike, and very simliar to the Asarov's who were Black Pawns within the Hellfire Club.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma is doing her best to... well, run her school. Not that the job itself is difficult with her intelligence and work ethic. It's just not terribly -fun-. Perhaps this is why Xavier's is the only other school for powered individuals. She finds herself pondering this, before she's interrupted by her secretary. Of course, the description she's given of her visitor only piques her interest, and so Yana is granted an audience in Emma's chambers... certainly, this looks more like an open concept condo than 'chambers', but still, one does what one can.
And so Emma is waiting, lips curved in a welcoming, cool little smirk as she seems to be going over her options for eveningwear, ranging from the sort of thing one might wear to a businees meeting to... well, the sort of thing one might wear to a Hellfire Club meeting.
And so Emma glances over to Yana as she enters her quarters, calling out. "Ah, you must be Ms. Asarov! Charmed, darling. And what brings you to my fine school? ...You aren't just hoping I'll put in a word with Julian, are you? I mean, I certainly appreciate zeal in going for one's desires, but I don't think you need his educator to tell him you dropped by... so why -are- you here?"

Black Rose has posed:
Yana strides into Emma's office with all the confident swagger of a teenage girl who has some pretty fantastic mutant abilities and is comfortable with them. Maybe, even a little, like Emma might've swaggered when she was nearing 18. Sans the whole getting kicked out of the family thing.
She looks around casually at Emma's office, then, to the Headmistress herself. She smiles, and raises a newspaper up in one hand. "Well, to be fair, I -did- want to meet Julian Keller. He's rather handsome. And, from what I've read? Pretty interesting," Yana admits, and she's honest in that, if Emma is scanning her brain. "But, I also had another purpose in coming here. Mr. Shaw wanted me to give this to you. He said there was something here that you wished to see."
The paper, curiously enough, is turned to the classified section.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma quirks a single eyebrow and lets out a soft laugh. Oh yes, this girl reminds her of herself in some ways... admittedly, -she- went for platinum blonde with her dye, but blue's a bold choice she can respect. "Well, I'll be sure to let him know you'd like to meet him. He's certainly... intriguing, it's true." She chews her lower lip for a moment as that paper is offered.
She reaches out to take it, glancing down at the offered section and beginning to sweep her eyes along the ads. "Oh joy, the classifieds... I cannot -begin- to imagine what it is Shaw thinks I'm going to find in here. Perhaps the X-Men are announcing their tawdry student-faculty complications via the newspaper now. I mean, really, who has their wedding taken to another dimension before the most important guest even -arrives-?" She sighs out and shakes her head, but still, continues sweeping the ads. She swears, if someone's selling knockoff merchandise from her company...

Black Rose has posed:
"I don't know, Miss Frost," the blue-haired girl suggests, with sincerity. She knows -something-, if Emma scans her mind. She knows the time, and place - and the particular classified ad that Emma should look at that determines where Shaw wants to meet with Emma, for undisclosed reasons. "But, I believe it's important."
Yana considers, thoughtfully, "But," she says, curving her lips sharply into a smile. "I don't need your help with Julian Keller."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma lets out a warm, genuinely amused peal of laughter, and narrows her eyes a touch as she comes across the ad. She nods her head and murmurs softly, "Yes, well, I imagine it must be. Do let Shaw know I'll meet him as agreed."
She quirks an eyebrow slightly, head tilting as she lets her own lips split into a wide grin. "Oh, I'm sure you don't. Do be gentle with him, hm? He had an... eventful field trip recently. Perhaps I'll have him tag along on our next... well, more open meeting, hm? I suppose it would be good for him to learn not -every- outing involves helicopters and excitement."

Black Rose has posed:
Yana peers, curiously, at Emma's suggestion of helicopters, and field trips. She tries to read the Headmistress's features, her expressions - and it's likely Emma, being Emma, scanning Yana's surface thoughts would be able to see that's exactly what the girl is doing. And, that the young girl, while no telepath, is remarkably adapt at reading micro-expressions and nuances of body languages. Not anywhere near on Cypher's level - or her fathers, whose abiilies are so much like Doug's, but very much on a highly trained psychologist, or, perhaps, an abused child.
Eventually, Yana can't help but smile, "Well. Sounds like you have fun here, too. It was a hard choice, choosing between here, and Xavier's," she admits. "Even Magneto couldn't suggest one over the other. Now there's a magnificent man. Well. I won't hold you up, any longer. Thank you, Miss Frost."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma lets out another little laugh, bobbing her head. "Oh yes, Magneto is... quite something. Especially when the inevitable mutant hating robots show up." She gives a soft smile and gestures around with a sweep of her arm. "It was a pleasure to see you, Ms. Asarov. Do drop by again. Perhaps I'll call you when Julian is around. Give you a heads up."
She sighs and gives a little shake of her head, "Oh, not -nearly- so much as Xavier's school. We typically don't have the robots attack us here, hence field trips. And Mystique did -ask- quite politely about it. Do give Shaw my regards, dear." If anything, Emma is coming off as... well, impressed, relaxed, and absolutely approving of Yana. Oh yes, this girl is -certainly- one of Shaw's better decisions. In fact, she'd be a little jealous of him having her services, if it weren't for Julian.
