Cast of Characters: Blossom McKinley, Arsenal

Blossom McKinley has posed:
It is just before nine in the evening and some of the smaller shops and stores are on the verge of closing. One of those shops is Ninja Ice Cream; a few people remain inside, starting the cleaning up process while a few other employees are exiting out the door, ready to go home or whatever they have planned for the evening. One of those leaving is Blossom, the blonde dressed in her black tee/jeans/sneakers 'uniform', her hair pulled into a high pony tail. In her hand is a cone upon which a sizeable scoop of ice cream sits upon it, almost too big for the edible container it tops.

Arsenal has posed:
Roy Harper is half-dancing down the street, listening to some music on his wireless headphones and rocking a red hoodie for purposes that are decidedly Easter Egg-y. He doesn't really seem to be paying attention to where he's going but he's good enough to do things and make sure that he's not bumping into anyone that's carrying anything useful like ice cream. Instead, he's just smiling and dancing the night away. He's even getting some air guitar in. Air guitar solo, baby!

Blossom McKinley has posed:
It is a good thing Roy is paying attention as Blossom really isn't and it is a near-accident that brings him into her field of vision as well as her attention. He is watched for a second before she giggles and waves at him, not sure if he'll notice due to his antics. As she does this a drip of chocolate lands upon the back of her hand, prompting her to lick that away and then get to eating before she becomes a huge, sticky mess.

Arsenal has posed:
Roy finishes his air guitar solo and reaches up to pull his headphones off. "Whoa, hey. I--" Roy looks from the ice cream licker to the shop and then back to the licker. "Oh man. I'm too late. They're closed, huh?" Roy snaps his fingers and gives himself a moment to sigh about being too damn slow. And then he's just kind of watching her with the ice cream and it may just become pretty darn awkward. "I needed some ice cream in my life tonight too." He goes into overdramatic sigh mode.

Blossom McKinley has posed:
"Yeah, sorry. But we'll be open at noon if that isn't too late." Polite and generous to a fault at times, Blossom offers the guy her cone, not really stopping to think that it's kinda gross to offer someone ice cream that's already been licked. "It is the shop specialty. We call it Ninja Surprise. Chocolate with little hidden bits of nuts and dried fruit in it... the bits being the 'ninja'..." Blushing, she looks at Roy and then to her ice cream.

Arsenal has posed:
"Wait, what? You... have... /NINJA/ ice cream?! Oh man, that is awesome!" Roy runs a hand through his red hair and flashes one of his signature smiles. He's all about the smiles right now. "Oh, this is gonna' be awesome. I know exactly who I'm bringing back with me." Grinning, Roy offers a bit of a dismissive wave at the ice cream being offered. "As tempting as that is... I think I'm gonna' pass. No offense but you don't even know my name's Roy yet." Wink.

Blossom McKinley has posed:
"Uh-huh. And we have ninja delivery people, too." As that's pointed out one of those ninja-garbed delivery folk comes out the door, wearing something that is definitely more 'off the rack Halloween costume' than anything worn by serious martial artists. Blossom pauses in her chatting with Roy to bid them a goodnight before returning to the conversation. "The shop's catch phrase is 'We deliver before it melts or we'll commit seppaku'. It's funny to watch. They make a big production out of it." Quirking a smile, her own timid compared to Roy's, she adds quickly, "Name's Blossom. And no, I was not named after a cartoon character or someone from TV."

Arsenal has posed:
"First of all, your name is awesome and don't let anyone tell you different. Or if they do, come and tell me and I'll make 'em tell you how wesome your name is." Roy is loving this conversation about the ice cream shop though. It's just sounding more and more cool to him. "If I didn't already have a full plate, I'd be filling out an application to work right now. Guess you'll just have to settle for a new regular customer."

Blossom McKinley has posed:
Blossom has to giggle a little, the sound entirely too giddy for her pleasure. Makes her sound like a stupid school-aged kid all over again. She needs a moment to recover and it's spent getting the last bit of ice cream finished off, the scoop finished in about record time. "Right. I'll just have you tell them to tell me that." Rolling her eyes playfully, she adds quickly, "You know how many people we have say they would like to work here? It is a lot. But the employees enjoy working here so much that there are rarely any openings."

Arsenal has posed:
"Oh, I just want a cool ninja costume. I would definitely try to weasel my way into being he mascot or something. You have one of those, right?" Roy almost sounds like he's considering adding more things to his already overfilled plate. "So what's up? You headed home on these dangerous Gotham streets? Need an escort?" Roy pauses. "Oh! Wait! Not that kind!" Roy's already starting to feel the embarrassment. Not that it shows. He has no shame.

Blossom McKinley has posed:
Blossom looks back inside the shop as Roy continues to speak, watching as the lights turn off and the doors are locked. She waves to her boss and offers him a smile before turning to face Roy again. "Nah. No mascot, I hate to say, although I bet you'd make an awesome one." Hmm. Roy might be joking - Blossom only just met him so can't tell one way or another - but she looks like she might be seriously considering talking to her employer. Blinking, then, she blushes when the e-word is used and she goes quiet for a moment. "I... was going to call a cab." Because cab drivers in Gotham are totally safe and all that, right?
