Rainmaker has posed:
    It's a Wednesday night...and nothing special, for the most slackerly of the trio. Priss is off doing important SWORD saving the world stuff. Dani is off at school. Sarah is....sitting around in panties and a t-shirt on the couch, frowning to herself as she ponders her life a bit. It's not exactly the deepest of thoughts, but she's not getting anywhere with it either, her mind just going around in circles more than coming to any conclusion.

    She has, however...given Dani a key. After their recent threesome. She's left the beds pushed together, actually. Her roommates have found new lodgings, so it's just her now.

Moonstar has posed:
    There's a soft rattling at the door, and then the door unlocks and opens, revealing Dani standing there in a blue silk shirt and jeans. She smiles, "Hey, Sarah?" She looks a little stressed, but nothing too serious as she steps in, closing and locking the door behind her. Then she steps to the couch, leaning over the back to give Sarah a welcoming kiss, "Hi you."

    Sarah's head turns towards the door as it opens, sitting up, then her eyes light up when she sees its you. "Hey!" she says, beaming at you, leaning up to give you a firm kiss back, her hand sliding up to cup the back of your neck. "I wasn't expecting you tonight..." she says, sounding very pleased to be wrong.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani smiles, "Yeah, I needed to see you." She breaks the kiss just so she can move easily over the back of the couch to sit next to Sarah, "I... ah, I need to tell you something. Nothing too serious. But well, it's kinda serious. I mean... hrm. I've never had to talk about this before."

    She ahems and looks at Sarah with a fairly serious expression, "Remember Paris? And what happened at the wedding?"

Rainmaker has posed:
    Sarah shifts closer to you as you sit, automatically, , but senses this is...a serious talk? Enough that she doesn't go for her customary cuddling yet, instead just scooting close and sitting crosslegged next to you so she can face you. "Sure...how could I forget?" she says softly, frowning.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani nods, "Well, we've figured out what the Bloat wanted, and now we're going to go on a mission to get some payback." She sighs a bit, "We have a pretty good plan in place, but it's... well, it's risky. I never really thought about the risk before, but now, with you and Priss." She gives Sarah a wry smile, "I had to see you before I went off with the X-Men for this."

Rainmaker has posed:
    The other girl gets an uncertain look. "But...you said this creep was in another dimension that he owned everything in..." She frowns more, starting to look worried. "...and what do you mean, it's risky?"

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani sighs, "Basically, we're going to hit him where it hurts, since we have a way to get there. Stealing the master tapes he took of the wedding fiasco." She smiles a little, "To get to that jerk, you hit him in his ratings. But... well, he's a pretty serious villain, too."

Rainmaker has posed:
    Sarah's mouth opens, before it closes again, a slightly shakey breath escaping her. "...so...you're going back." she says softly. "To that place...where he tried to kill all of you..."

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani smiles a little, "We're going to be ready for it, this time. Sarah..." She places her hands over Sarah's, "Hey, I survived going to Asgard and dealing with trolls and dark elves and evil sorceresses. This is just stealing some tapes." She sounds pretty confident, giving Sarah's hands a warm squeeze, "Besides, I got a pretty good motivation to get my ass back here."

Rainmaker has posed:
    Sarah's hands turn to holds yours, squeezing back. "....fuck." she says after a moment, the usually well spoked girl reduced to the type of swearing she rarely resorts to. "I..." She swallows. "Goddammit, you're supposed to be in a school....not...not going off to deal with any of that..." she whispers softly, her voice trembling a bit, before she takes a deep breath. "...when Priss joined SWORD, I thought that might be bad sometimes....and it's been...scary. But I thought you'd be safe at least...and now...." She lets out a humorless laugh. "...how am I the safest person of the three of us now?"

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani reaches over and hugs Sarah tight, "Hon, I've been doing this since I got to the school. It just sucks you in I guess, especially when you have powers like I do." She murmurs, "Sarah, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure we all come home. Promise." She doesn't say the obvious thing... that it might just not be enough.

Rainmaker has posed:
    It's a war you can see playing out on Sarah's face...that mix of pride and fear, before she looks down, hiding her eyes, her fingers starting to tug aginst strands of her long hair quietly. "It's crazy..." she breathes out softly. But you do it. Priss does it.

    She feels like such a coward, hiding in this hotel...when the women she loves most are out their risking their lives for...things that matter.

    Finally she shifts closer...but just to slide her arms around you, not trusting herself to speak, as she hugs you to her chest quietly, fervently. Her eyes closing.

Moonstar has posed:
    Dani murmurs, "I'm staying tonight, okay? I'm not going to leave you." She is very certain of that, sighing deeply as she holds Sarah close, "I love you, Sarah. And I'll be coming back." She hugs the other woman tightly, taking comfort in the embrace
