David Akenda (207) has posed:
A few nights ago, Harry Dresden had captured a pair of asian gentlemen who had apparently attempted to kill a kid who was also of asian decent. Maybe some sorta Chinatown issue. But a kid of 15? the kid must have seen something, or uncovered something back. Except that the information on these two is fairly generic indicating that they are from not China, but Japan. Both are very similar in appearance possibly brothers. Their names are a play on the Japanese version of John Doe.

And while in police custody, they have said absolutely Nothing. Staring blankey, threats interrogation, nothing.

What Harry Said about them, a pair of Somethings, has some people on edge. Infact those with magical talents or who can sense demonic things, can sense the taint of such evil upon them. These two are more than human.

Karrin Murphy has posed:
It wasn't until Karrin heard that Dresden was involved, that a few people were twitchy around the Things, that her own strange feelings and instincts about all things supernatural kicked in, that she realized the things in custody should probably be in the more specialized lock down of SPECTRE. The single holding cell she'd fought to have, with bullet proof, shatter proof and hulk proof glass. Silver cuffs. Fire and water that can come down from over head. It'd been a pretty penny out of the budget and she was still catching flack for it, but she knew one day it'd pay off.

Hopefully, it simply wasn't too late. "What do you mean Dresden brought them in and they're in regular hold up? No... we need to get them transferred. Now."

After giving that order, she dashes over to her desk, getting the extra strong, silver lined cuffs she has and double timing it down the hall towards regular hold up. Perhaps she wasn't too late. Perhaps she was just being paranoid. A girl can dream.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Of course comes the confusion of them being ordered to be transfered to special lock up. And then it comes Karrin is able to see the pair in the same cell. Kneeling, serene, meditating. And that sense of wrongness comes down. As the Cuffs are place on and they are yanked up they have offered no resistance as they are then force marched out of the cell. Still some confusion, Then comes the sound of silver hitting the concrete. For Karrin, those would be the handcuffs, and isntantly they attack, Ducking and Dodging as they quickly grab hold of the officer's hand guns that had been holding them. and instantly shots are fired. These are not street thugs as they begin to try and gun down people near the door to the holding cells first to keep it open while they use the two officers as living shields.

In that instant the police realize they have sorely under estimated these two! They were just waiting for the perfect chance to escape.....

Karrin Murphy has posed:
Some nights, things simply do not go your way. Though she had the proper cuffs, or so she thought, super strong alloys and silver lined apparently is no issue to this pair. They are too fast. They've gotten out, somehow. It all happens so fast, the younger patrolman's gun off his hip and being fired. Karrin knows the hot sensation of a bullet cutting out flesh, but she was moving the moment she saw those cuffs go down, so it's a chip out of her arm instead of a whole shattered bone or, god forbid, her chest. She doesn't let the pain stop her as she rushes forward, moving for a disabling hold she's practiced so often it's like second nature. She has to get them disarmed and down, that is the goal, and hopefully one of her other officers can put down the second one.

Karrin might be small, but she's fast, surprisingly strong, and a decade trained in martial arts. She knows multiple styles and knows how to use her size to her advantage. She acts with the speed of pure muscle memory and no fear as she disables one of the men's wrists. But she's only one woman and there are two assailants.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Of course there are two as one grabs hold of a Baton and uses it to knock his police escort out. They do not have super human speed or reflexes. But they do have training, they are highly trained killered. Not some China town thugs. And as Karrin maneas to grab one it leaves the other to move up as he actually flips with her attempting throwb carefully angling himself so that as he goes down he is not hurt. the Police officer that was holding him is hit in the neck with the Baton as he also looses his collapsible nightstick. And instantly the open guy swings both Bataons to follow up with a kick to her chest. he's attemopting to either knock her out, or force her to react so that he can catch her on the recoil with a kick.

The Guy on the ground goes to make for the door to ensure it is not closed or locked so they can escape. Police officers on the ground bleeding and wounded byt the wounds are to the shoulder and knees.

Karrin Murphy has posed:
The fight is a mess. It's two people immensely trained and very quick, using each other's weight againt them. Karrin can keep up with him, but she knows she has to work fast as her shoulder is freely bleeding and she'll lose that speed too damn quickly if they stay neck and neck. Meanwhile, his partner is moving lightning fast with the baton. At least the gun was dropped. Or so she thought. She allows herself to take that recoiling kick so she can grab at his leg and twist violently, popping the whole joint out of the socket with a snap that can be heard down the room. That's enough pain to put anyone down and she slams him face first into the laminate, even though she's now bleeding and utterly breathless herself.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Indeed as the Assassin goes down hard and fast, his face broken his leg busted. Thanks to Karrin and he realizes that his leg is busted and he can';t escape. Knowing that more intense interrogation awaits. Karrin sees him simply relax. And his devotion to silence is clearly made. The Gun he had was in his belt, it is pulled from his belt and in the blink of an eye. The barrel is placed under his throat and with a single motion the sound of a gunshot is heard.

Blood sprays from his throat out the back of his neck the hollow point round blowing out his spine killing him instantly is what Karrin sees, his blood spraying over her.

In the hall way they now have a deadly assassing that is running for the nearest window hitting police with the gun shots, the throw of a Police baton, and then as he reaches some stairs he shoots out the window, which has a metal grate over it on the outside. And in that instant he goes through the window as the grate simply comes off the supports. An investigation will reveal the fram hade been weakened with acid many days ago. And covered up.

Right now Karrin has one escaped assassin, and one dead one. These were not simple amatures, not thugs. Only professional assassins would be willing to take their lives rather that give up their employers and targets. And they are after some kid?

Karrin Murphy has posed:
Amateur mistake. Karrin shouldn't have reached off the downed suspect, even if she knew he was down, to try and stop the other. But she did. No one else on duty right now had near the martial training of herself and so many were already hurt. So, she reached, trying to stop him, just in time to hear the other gun go off. She jerks around, panic her throat, half expecting to see a dead cop. Instead, she sees a dead victim.

"... GOD DAMMIT." She hisses. She rarely takes the Lord's name in vain, but this is a night for it. Her body turns, fist going into the wall for a moment, as the hallway is left in silence with nothing but panting, pained breaths and the faint scent of fired guns and blood. Someone finally goes to a phone to call for two ambulances. The rest of the night is going to be filled with a whole lot of paperwork.
