Date of Scene: 14 September 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Lyssa and April O'Neil meet in a pizza place, thanks to an unsprung ambush.
Cast of Characters: Breath, April O'Neil

Breath has posed:
Lyssa steps through the door into the otherwise pretty much empty pizza place in an unusually hurried sort of way, then kicks a chair in front of the door and looks around. "Uh. So like.. did somebody here do something to tick off somebody with a street gang, or, you know.. am I just having that kind of a day so far?" They run their fingers through their hair with some concern and frowns at the door.

April O'Neil has posed:
April is at the front of the pizza place waiting for pizzas to be made. She'd been talking to the guy behind the counter who'd been flirting with her as he often did. He was a few years older than her, but he was a big and muscular so it was enough to make April flirt back.

When the commotion at the front of the store took place, all eyes went in that direction. April's soft blues looked back over her right shoulder toward where Lyssa had come in and started talking loudly, she didn't know what was going on...

Breath has posed:
Lyssa steps over to the counter, swinging her duffel bag over her shoulder. "So hey, uhm.. Do you know why there's a bunch of gangers watching the door? Because I mean, I wasn't even planning on going here, so it's probably not MY fan club, you know?"

Breath has posed:
Lyssa frowns some. "Well, ONE of them tried hitting on me once before one of his friends stopped him, so I mean, it's /kind of/ my fan club too, but.. You know."

April O'Neil has posed:
April shared glances with the employee behind the counter and she shook her head gently before looking over to Lyssa. "That sounds... pretty bad." She said at the other woman. "You think we should call the cops?" The redhead asked then, giving another glance toward the man behind the counter who was already walking toward the phone on the wall...

Breath has posed:
Lyssa gives that teenager noncomittal jerky shrug. "Dunno. I mean, we don't have the greatest relationship, and I don't know if they're getting paid off or anything. I mean, this is pretty obvious, and it usually takes awhile for them to bother getting /here/. So, you know. If you think it's going to help any. I was going to see if you have any other ways out or anything. I don't think they saw who I was yet, but the one is pretty embarrassed, and you know how guys get when they think they looked bad."

April O'Neil has posed:
April had her yellow leather jacket tied around her waist and her arms went to cross together over her stomach, she had a black tanktop on with a logo from Star Wars on her bustline. She glanced over to the guy placing the call to the cops and then back to Lyssa. "If they come in here and smash the place up, they'll be in a ton of trouble. Its best to just wait it out in here until the police do show up." The reporter glanced back toward the front of the store but she didn't see anything out there as of yet...

Breath has posed:
Lyssa hmms, "Well sure, it sounds like you aren't totally surprised by that." Come to think of it, there are a couple people who all have the same sort of loose jacket that are just sort of loitering around in front of the pizza place. They don't look all that out of place until you look again and see that they haven't GONE anywhere..

April O'Neil has posed:
The man hung up the phone behind the counter and he looked at Lyssa. "Cops are on the way." He told her.

"See?" April said then. "Problem solved." She showed the scared young one a smile and shook her head. "Relax a bit, order a pizza... take a load off. Just enjoy the place."

Her two boxes were brought to her and she stacked them up ontop of each other and went to pay for them.

Breath has posed:
Lyssa nods. "Mmkay." They look at the door uncertainly and wallleans for a couple of seconds. "I guess I could do a bacon pizza.. I mean, I just don't feel like getting shot at tonight. It's already bad enough I had to wear a costume all night." Lyssa glances at the boxes.

April O'Neil has posed:
April grinned at the 'getting shot at' part and then moved toward a table to sit down. "Are there nights wehere you DO feel like getting shot at?" She asked while taking a seat and pulling out her cell phone to thumb a text to the green guys in the sewers to let them know that she had their pizzas but was waiting for a 'thing' to clear up before she'd head down to meet them... she knew Mikey would be furiously impatient though.

Breath has posed:
Lyssa hmmmhs, "Just if it's super annoying. I can think of a few times that I would have been like 'Oh, thank god for THAT' if somebody ran in with a gun. Just those times when everybody is making things super awkward."
