Date of Scene: 18 September 2017

Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Angel, Harry Dresden

Angel has posed:
The sun has set on the day, and the night crowd was just starting to move out onto the streets while the day crowd heads home. One of those night creatures arrives outside the door to Dresden's Office. Tall, dark and obviously looking for Harry. Angel's face was set in a frown, as it was wont to do by default.

With a light tap on the window, Angel waits for a sign that Harry was home. Even with his vampiric senses, it was difficult to tell. Waiting patiently for the signal, Angel looks through the glass to see if he can spot the Wizard inside.

"Mr. Dresden. It's Angel of Angel Investigations. We met a few weeks ago, in regards to that situation Fred mentioned. I wanted to see if you have heard anything more?" Angel then pauses, waiting.

Harry Dresden has posed:
Making his way to the front door, Harry peers through the glass at the vampire. Oh yes, Harry remembers him, or at least what he is. He pauses for a second as he studies the man behind the door before he lets out a sigh and nods, reaching out to unlock it.

"Do I need to invite you in, Angel? I'm not sure where the 'rules' fall with you." Harry says as he makes his way back towards his desk. "In either case, come on in. To answer your question, no. I haven't heard back from Ms. Burkle since that day. I had gotten to the point I assumed you and her had handled it on your own."

Angel has posed:
Spotting movement inside, Angel steps back a bit, to give Harry room, should he be at all concerned about those things. Angel waits, and nods as the door finally unlocks and opens.

"No, that should be fine. I can enter if you have already invited me in...unless you have used magic to erase that welcome." Angel steps forward, his hands up, palms towards Dresden in a peace sign.

"Thank you for letting me in." He pauses, and nods as he crosses the threshold. Looking around to ensure they were alone, Angel nods again, and says, "No. She hasn't been very forthcoming at all about a lot of things lately. Frankly I am concerned, but that is something else." Angel says, "How are you doing?"

Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry shrugs, "I'm fine. Just working, you know how it is." Harry motions to a seat in front of his desk, setting into his own chair. "I'd offer you something to drink, like coffee or something, but I'm afraid I don't have anything that would suit your...uh..palate."

"So, what is it I can help you with? Did you need me to look into Ms. Burkle, or was thing about something else entirely?"

Angel has posed:
"I do indeed. Always working." Angel nods, seemingly distracted, and sits down. "I won't take too much of your time Mr Dresden. I just wanted to confirm that you had nothing else as well." Angel's frown deepens. "And that you hadn't been in contact."

"NO thank you. I don't drink coffee." Angel quirks a small smile at Dresden's comment. "I appreciate that, but I am fine. Thanks." Angel looks around the office and then back to Harry.

"If you can. If she comes to you again for help, would you let me know? I hate to place any of my employees...or friends...under suspicion, but something isn't right. You don't have to spy on her, except to confirm she isn't under any sort of control or coercion. By normal mystic sources are...out of town at the moment."

Harry Dresden has posed:
Placing his hands in a steeple, Harry peers over them at the vampire for a moment before nodding. "I will, sure, if she comes by. I'm assuming you have already tried the more direct route of asking her?"

He leans back into his chair and rubs at his chin, "Or do you want me to reach out to her on my own? I can make a call, since she was interested in my services in the past. Easy enough for me to make an inquiry without arousing suspicion."

Angel has posed:
"I have. She evades the question and gets...irritated." Angel shakes his head. "I would do the magic thing myself, but it seems that whenever I try magic like that it...backfires." Angel smiles sheepishly. "I never quite get the incantations right. It takes real skill to wield sorcery and magic. I prefer a sharp sword as my weapon." Angel nods.

"That might work. You already have a connection, so yeah." Angel hrms. "There are a lot of dark things that we all have to deal with on a daily basis, and I hope I am wrong." Angel pauses and thinks for a moment.

"Anyway, here is my card. Call me anytime, day or night." Angel adds, "Oh, and if you need my help anytime, you have but to ask. I'm good to have around if you need someone to keep you alive in a bad situation."

Angel stands up and offers his card, with "Angel Investigations" right on top, and the lettering, "We Help the Helpless", number just below that.

Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry Dresden reaches over the desk and takes the card, looking at it for a moment before slipping it into the top drawer of his desk. "Ok, i'll give her a call. See if she wants to set something up. At the very least, I might be able to get a read on her if I can at least meet with her face to face. Aside from your offices, where does she tend to hang out?"

Harry reaches into his desk and pulls out a card and also pulls out a notepad. He offers the card over to Angel, and then starts to scribble down some notes in the notepad. "The same goes here. You need me for anything, feel free to give me a call. You seem to be ok, for a vampire."

Angel has posed:
"She has been hanging around the WInchester's a lot. I would expect at their hangouts. Apartments, etc. I heard SHIELD mentioned, but I am not sure if she has any contact with them. Other than that, and borrowing my car, I am not sure." Angel pauses.

"I suppose I could follow her, but I suspect she will pick up on that...no matter how good you are, she has a knack for spotting stuff like that. It's almost eerie."

Angel takes the proferred card and stores it in the folds of his overcoat for safe keeping. Angel smiles, and nods. "Thanks. I appreciate that. You seem to be ok, for a Wizard."

Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry Dresden chuckles, "Have to thought of a GPS system on your car? I can't use them for...reasons, but they shouldn't cause you any problem. It would allow you to get an idea where she goes when she takes your care out."

He writes down a few more notes, "Winchester, like the rifle? I don't know that I have heard of them. Should I have? As far as SHIELD, I don't have any contacts there that...." he pauses, as if he puts 2 and 2 together, then glances at a card on his desk. "Actually, I might have a contact there, now that I think about it. I have to call anyway, so I can make an inquiry...not that if they are SHEILD I will get any response"

Angel has posed:
"Hmmmm...no, never thought about that. Usually Fred handles all the high tech stuff. I have another friend that might be willing to help with that though..." Angel nods, suddenly getting an idea. "It's past time I spoke to Willow anyway..." Angel says almost to himself.

"Yeah, " Angel continues, "...like the rifle. Sam and Dean. Brothers. Hunters. Tough. But unreliable. I don't trust them." Well they are Hunters. "I think they are trouble, but that's just me. Could be why she's away a lot."

Turning to leave, Angel looks back over his shoulder while reaching for the doorhandle. "Yeah, SHIELD isn't usually very cooperative with the likes of us." Angel frowns. "I appreciate all the help you can give though. Thanks for this. I'll owe you one."

Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry Dresden nods, rising to his feet since it is only polite. "Right. I'll make a few calls and see what I can find out. I'f I come across anything, I will let you know."
