He shifts a bit in his seat as he takes a drink from his mojito. "For a place this fancy they don't make a very good drink.' he kvetching to no one in particular as he looks towards the door once more.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa does not hang around this kind of bar normally. She hangs around bars with more muscular and maculine clients. She is not into businessmen. So why is she here? She is considering whether it would be more challenging to break into Fisk Tower or Four Freedom Plaza. She has been learning all about current technology and wants to keep her spy skills sharp. Because she is spying, her hair is short and her clothes pretty normal for the era. The blue Jeans and T-shirt do not really fit this bar though.

Mystique has posed:
A very pretty blonde woman, 5'11", moves through the bar. Her features bespeak of a Russian heritage. She is, to say the least, remarkable. The woman moves towards the bar and takes a seat next to Sam, ignoring him for the moment, and lifts a finger to the bartender. She asks for, "Vodka." And then, she considers the room, with a casual air. The small purse of an eccentric brand that bespeaks to a rather expensive taste, along with the four inch pumps she wears.
Her ice-blue eyes fall on Sussa, thoughtfully, the other denziens of the bar, before slowly settling on the man on the seat next to her. She smiles, very briefly to Sam, then focuses her eyes to the drink that's set before her.

Sam Axe has posed:
Sam returns the smile from the blonde woman with his trademark cocky grin and a nod, he raises his drink in salute towards her when the door opens once more. In the doorway is a blond haired blue eyed man wearing an out of date suit and a trench coat. Those who run in intelligence circles will recognize him as Deiter Koltar, the former operative Sam is planning on meeting him. the German man seems disheveled and start to head toward the bar, he gets about three steps inside before he collapses. Sam looks over with obvious concern on his face.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa reacts without thinking, moving to the side of the man and doing a basic first-aid check for bleeding, breathing, and poisons. Her first Aid training is extremely good...and she lets her hair fall across the man a bit to get a better feel (literally) of the situation.

Mystique has posed:
The Russian woman's eyes slide over the rest of the bar curiously, even as she picks up the shot of vodka indifferent to the situation. Afterall, the man already has at least one person around him. And, that's enough of a distraction. She looks over to Sam, even as she surveys with her century-worth of experience in reading people. "Drank too much," she says, half-conversationally towards Sam, in a perfect accent. Afterall, she is, by all accounts, the woman she is morphed into.

Sam Axe has posed:
Mystique would clearly be able to read that Sam ifs agitated despite being around spys for most of his life he has never quite matched their poker faces, well except when playing poker of course. "I am not sure that is it." he tells her, "After all it is barely beer thirty." Sussa would notice all the tell tales of a poisoning, and the man drifts in an out of consiousness speaking off and on in muttered German.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa uses her telepathic ear-plug to read the man's mind...she can do that with people within 15 feet if she tries. The translation function is automatic. Aloud, she says, "I believe this man is poisoned." She tries to recall, from the symptoms, what kind of poison it is and if there is a convenient way to treat it. Something available in this century. (She is having a bit of trouble splitting her attention between mind reading and First Aid.)

Mystique has posed:
"Mmm. Someone should call an ambulance," the Russian woman states, mildly. She looks to Sam, meaningfully, before she gets up, and begins to walk over towards the prone civilian, nearing Sussa. She considers the splay of hair on the man's body, then tilts her head towards the girl. She makes a gesture, "I am a doctor. Please." She makes a shooing motion, and crouches down, mindful of the dress to get a feel for Deiter's pulse, looking into the man's eye, as she rolls over in her mind the possible poisons. Even as she does this, other hand searches him for a cellphone. A wallet. Documents. She's clearly searching for identification.

Sam Axe has posed:
From the ear-lugs sussa is able to get a jumble of thoughts. Mostly that Deiter is seeking the Sailor to give him the papers. She also gets that the man thinks he was poisoned while eating not long ago. Mystique for her efforts would find a pulse, though a weak one and both a wallet and a seal courier pouch sized envelope that feel like it has a good sized file inside. Both would likely guess the best imediate treatment for the poison would be to cause the man to expell the tainted food from his system. For his part sam does not call the ambulence just yet instead he joins the pair over by the prone body of Deiter, "Is he gonna be alright, he's an old friend of mine." He lies a little but is quite good at it.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa turns the man on his left side and pries open his mouth, the reaches inside to touch his uvula while pressing just below his diaphram ith her other hand. She says aloud, "The poison was probably ingested, we need him to vomit, then we should get him some milk or tomato juice to help dilute the poison that remains in his system." Stimulating the diaphram and uvula should make him vomit...

Mystique has posed:
"That depends on the poison," the Russian woman, and self-proclaimed doctor begins, and seems about to say more ... but, it's too late. "Tch." Sussa is already turning the man over, trying to get Deiter to vomit even as Mystique is forced to step back a little. As she pulls back, she also slips out the wallet, and the courier pouch as discreetly as she can. And, let's face it. That's pretty damn discreet. Still, it is a courier pouch. And, she holds out the wallet to Sam, asking him, "Did you call emergency services?" Curiously. "Or, shall I? He is your friend, yes?"
She turns around, "Has anyone called emergency services?"

Sam Axe has posed:
If she checks the Id in the wallet it says that the poisioned man's name is Lee Roy Jenkins, somebody was not trying when thye created that alias. By know oone of the nameless suits has called for an ambulence. Sam speaks, "Yeah I knew him when we were in the service, back in the bad old days." He flips open the wallet and laughs, "Yeah me and Lee Roy go way back." the attempt to make Deiter/Lee Roy purge himself is successful though the less detail about that the better. The bartender produces some tomaoto juice for Sussa since that was on hand for Bloody Marys.

Mystique has posed:
Satisfied when a few of the other people in the confirm to her that they've called 911, the Russian woman turns back around, a bit more slowly. When she does, there is no sign of the courier envelope. Her purse had remained dangling at her side, and was untouched. And there is no courier-envelope sized bulge in the very appealing, and very tight dress the woman is wearing. Nor is it on the floor.
In fact, the untraceable item was fit into a skin pouch, and the call for emergency services a mere distraction so she could effortlessly slip it within, neatly, and, unseen. Undetectable, now.
She watches the man vomit without any measure of disgust on her features as if she's seen it a thousand times before. She nods, at the tomato juice. "I hope your friend will be well. If the poison has not been in him long, if that -is- what happened, he may well stand a chance."

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Milk is better, but Tomato Juice is a fair substitute...though not as much calcium and magnesium. Sussa is a bit busy to make much note of what Mystique is doing, she sits Deiter up and tries to get him to drink the juice...doing it when lying down increases the chance of getting it in the lungs instead. Mystique may notice Sussa's hair is a bit longer than it was before, possibly four to six inches...most other will not note it.

Sam Axe has posed:
Sussa is able to get Dieter upright enough to drink the juice and he makes a bit of a face. Sam nods and sets the wallet on a nearby table, "Was there anything else on him?" He asks, "We was supposed to have tickets for the game tonight." Another well told lie. While most people are focused on the man on the floor anyone looking out the widow might pick up a pair of shady looking gentlemen watching the goings on.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa says to the "Doctor", "Sorry to interfere, I was in the military and learned a lot of first aid and rapid response. I am accustomed to taking charge in dangerous situations." She is not going to mention some of the OTHGER things she used to do...

Mystique has posed:
"I did not search him well," the Russian 'doctor' admits, to Sam, "But, wanted to make certain there was no medical ID, or any emergency medication he might have on his person." Sam, apparently, isn't the only one who can lie very, very well. And, convienently too. Her eyes do not miss the shadowy men, but she doesn't seem to notice them for more than a brief moment in passing as if they were but background.
To Sussa, she frowns, some, "It is well. You may have saved his life. We shall see."

Sam Axe has posed:
Dieter starts to regain his senses a bit but is till pretty out of it. Sam shakes his head, "Must've left them at his hotel." He sounds very dissatisfied but has no idea that the 'Doctor' has taken the pouch. For his part Deiter is speaking more in German it is clearer than before. The telepathic earplugs translate for Sussa but little of it is fit for printing. Sam kneels now and asks him, "Hey buddy, you got the tickets?"

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa knows it is not tickets, from reading the German's mind earlier, but she pretends not to know...while surruptitiously searching him with a few fine strands of red prehensile hair. She also knows SHE did not take the documents...if they are not there that leaves only one likely suspect...

Mystique has posed:
In the distance, the ambulance sirens ring out, but Mystique - the Russian woman makes no excuses to leave. Her intentions, by all scrutinty, are just. She wishes, if only by means of her Hippocratic Oath, to be certain that the man gets proper care. She asks Dieter, "How is your vision? Can you see clearly?"
If there are missing tickets? Well. She's not too concerned about them.

Sam Axe has posed:
There are no tickets. Deiter nods slowly, "Ja, I am feeling better." he speaks with a pronounced German accent. When he sees Sam he laugh, "It seems our meeting did not go as planned Nr. Finley." The German checks for the pouch and finds it missing, there is another short spate of unprintable German. "They must have stolen it." Sam shakes his head, "Aww great, I knew nothing good happens on Manhattan." While this is going on the wait staff are focused on cleaning up the mess Deiter made. The two shady looking characters seems to make themselves scarce once they hear the sirens.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa is not certain...after all reading minds escept in emergancies is kind of against the rules, but she thinks "Lee" had the "tickets" on him before the "Doctor" searched him. If that is correct, perhaps she should try to tail the suspect after we both leave here. She certainly is not going to search the doctor...in public anyway. Following her, well that will be a test of her spy skills...especially if the other woman is that good at a pickpocket.

Mystique has posed:
"Good," says the Doctor, looking somewhat satisfied. "Well done," she tells Sussa, then. As the paramedics pull up, she seems satisfied. "It would seem EMTs have arrived." She glances to Sam, "Perhaps next time, when there is not so much excitement, you can buy me a drink," she half-teases.
Then, she inclines her head to Dieter, "I'm glad you are well. Goodbye."
And with that, she begins to slowly make her way out, even as the paramedics move into the bar.

Sam Axe has posed:
The paramedics prepare Deiter/Lee Roy for transport as they are about to wheel him out Sam clasps his hand, "Take care of yourself, brother." Sam turns to the 'Doctor' and smiles, "Well maybe Manhattan isn't so bad after all." He watches her and Deiter leaves. The shady characters make note of which hospital the ambulance is from, likely this will mean trouble later, though in doing so are likely spotted by anyone practised in tradecraft as they say.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa quickly gives the paramedics a rundown on what happened and then excuses herself, making her way to a back entrance spotted before and then quickly climbing up to a place on a nearby building where she can watch both front and back entrances.

Mystique has posed:
The Russian woman walks down the street a few blocks, and turns into an alley, perhaps to cut up the street to one of the high end parking lots. She walks down the alley, pausing at a bum who is searching a dumpster, and she pauses, to give him a few dollars out of her purse, before continuing down the alley and she moves into a shadowy area, after pausing to make sure she is neither observed, or followed. She enters the back of what must be an abandoned building, then.
A few moments later, a bum exits, shuffling with a gimp knee, back bent, beard grimy. He pauses, looking one way, then the other, and turns to shuffle out of the alleyway where he will likely be grifting for tonight's meal.

Sussa Paka (360) has posed:
Sussa watches the Doctor and moves rapidly, "hair slinging" around to the othe end of the alley...but not seeing the Doctor exit she has to head back after a bit to check if there were doors or other ways ot of the alley she overlooked. She quickly figures out that the target disquise themselves as a bum, but has no way to tell which of the two bums...and has no reasonanle reason to search either (and probably no way to find the one who left). She gives it up as a lost cause for now, but makes a note to check with Brainy about Durlan detectors.
