Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Havok, Storm

Havok has posed:
Walking on the back lawn, Alex Summers can be seen out in the early hours of the morning shoeless. However he does wear his black cargo pants and black top that holds tightly to his chest. The top is unstable molecules and has the silver glowing affectations that reveal his 'charge' - or the amount of energy he has amassed. When glowing really brightly, he's full. But today, he's at half glow and likely not even half way on the charge. He wears no mask and seems to wait for the sun to rise in the east. It's chilly in New York, but he rarely suffers the cold due to the energy that normally rages inside of him.

Storm has posed:
Ororo is dressed... well, casually is one way to put it. Tanktop and pants certainly aren't heroic attire, but given the exercise mat she has rolled up and tucked under her arm as she makes her way across the lawn towards the mansion, she was likely out enjoying some early yoga or the like. But her eyebrows perk up, her lips curving in a wide smile as her course adjusts upon spotting Alex. She makes a beeline towards him, arm not toting her mat lifting in a wave, voice calling out in that rich, accented voice. "Well! I thought it was certain I'd be the only one waking up before noon this early in the school year!"

Havok has posed:
Alex's attention is drawn to the movement and the lovely voice of his team member. A smile forms and he says, "Good morning. Yeah, I just got in. Figured I'd take in an early walk." When he says 'just got in' he's implying that he's been away. And that he has been. A week or two out of country. This took place right after his return after another jaunt into an alternate reality... <common knowledge: 6 years passed for him while 6 weeks passed here>. His blue eyes catch the first light of the rising sun as he stares toward Ororo.

Storm has posed:
Ororo's head gives a slow bob. Her hair's not done up into her typical mohawk, hanging loose and swaying free. Her eyes narrow just a touch, lips curving in a thoughtful little half-pout. Clearly she's concerned, her head tilting, hips shifting as she adjusts her weight from foot to foot. "Well, that can be good to clear your head. Certainly around here when everything can be so full of... well, havoc, yes?" She pops her eyebrows up just a touch, a little flash of a grin forming. "I hope you're... finding your return here easy, yes? I know it... was a long trip you were on."

Havok has posed:
"I am, thanks." Alex replies as his hands move into his pockets. His own expression is that of contemplation and reflective moments. His mind is processing quite a bit and that limits the running of his mouth. He realizes there's a moment of silence after replying and then he adds a little more truth to the matter, "I'm good, really. Just a lot to think about. A lot of change in me, but no change here. You know how when we grow up and go back to the 'old house', it's the same, but we're different. It's like that."

Storm has posed:
Ororo gives a little nod of her head and murmurs out dryly, "Well, if it will help you, I'll get a buzzcut? I mean, there would be -some- change here then." She lifts one eyebrow slightly and murmurs out. "I'll admit, I don't -want- to pry but... this other place you were, were the rest of us there? Was there another me?" She frowns thoughtfully and murmurs, "Now there's a train of thought to contemplate for a time. Am I the most me, or is there an even more -me- me out there somewhere?"

Havok has posed:
"Only if you go full Sinead O'Conner. Otherwise it's just too much like Tank Girl." Alex smiles, looks around and then hmmmms as he considers the answer. "Well. Yeah. But you weren't a good girl at all. In fact, you were on the 'big bad nasty girl' list." He says with a hint of attempted humor and regret. As if there were issues between himself and the other you.

Storm has posed:
Ororo's slim eyebrows lift even higher. "Well, perhaps I'll do that. If anyone's upset at it, I'll just tell them you were fully in support!" She tilts her head, hand planting on her hip, eyes narrowing, lips curving in a slow, playful smile as she murmurs out. "Ah... so I'm -pretty- much the same everywhere, I suppose. I'm sure -I- just have the better fashion sense. And cooking skills." She chews her lower lip for a long moment, indecisive for a moment. And then she drops her mat and slides in, reaching out to drape her arms over Alex's shoulders, giving a squeeze. "I'm glad you're back. With -me- me. Friends are too valuable to lose between dimensions."

Havok has posed:
The hug is returned as his own arms wrap around her back. He hugs tightly and she'll feel the warmth of his body against the cool early morning air. A preternatural warmth that emits from the vast energy within him. He chuckles, "I'm glad to have you as a friend. Because you as an enemy sucked. Literally. You were a blood sucking vampire and it was not good for anyone. Especially Forge and Kitty."

Storm has posed:
Ororo lets out a low, despairing groan. "Oh... I was a -vampire-? Of all the..." She sighs and shakes her head, giving another squeeze. "I mean, come on... -vampire- is like the most cliche monster to become. I am actually disappointed in myself. That me gives me's a bad name." She keeps that hug going... and yes, it -might- just be because the mornings are cooling in autumn, and Ororo's not above leeching some warmth, mutant temperature resistance bedamned. "...Well, I guess if anyone tells me 'you bite' now, I can't even deny it... darn."

Havok has posed:
Alex chuckles, deeply from his chest and base of his throat. There's a sway to the hug, as if he hears soft music and moves softly in the warm embrace. Alex then adds with a grin, "Don't get between a girl and her food. That's one of the lessons that I learned over there. Especially when that girl could suck the blood right out of you. But oddly enough. That Ororo held true to her code not to kill. And I guess there was some erotic stuff going on between her and her two paramors. I don't claim to understand it. I just know, I stood clear."

Storm has posed:
Ororo lets out a soft laugh, almost a chuckle of her own, that vibrates through her. She sways a touch more, not -quite- falling into that dance, but it's close as she hums thoughtfully. "Hmmm... well, I guess I -might- be enough of a catch that being bitten would be a small price to pay for my company..." She clicks her tongue softly and mutters dryly, "Food for thought, yes?" She pulls back and flashes another crooked grin. "But I do hope you can find yourself here again as well. I mean, I'd hate to scare you by running into you around a corner in the mansion on Halloween."

Havok has posed:
"I was gonna totally suggest you dress as a vampire for Halloween." Alex teases while the embrace is broken. Then there's a more serious chord struck. At least serious for him. His lips tighten and he notes, "You noticed that, huh?" as in she noticed his absence. Though she's been hinting around it for a few words already. Alex slips his hands back into their pockets and he looks down at the soft grass while feeling the warmth of the sun upon his face. He finally states, "I've been in Genosha. Talking to Magneto. He's got a great thing going over there."

Storm has posed:
Ororo sighs and frowns yet again, this one more concerned. "He always does. Until he decides that progress isn't fast enough, or humanity isn't appreciative enough. And then he... well, winds up having the -other- sort of thing going that he so often has, yes?" One eyebrow lifts and she sighs. "But then, I hear the weather's nicer in Genosha, so I suppose I can understand visiting while you think things through." She whistles downright cheerily, "Oh well, more opportunity for me to keep my lockpicking in practice and rummage in your stuff."

Havok has posed:
With a grin, Alex glances back up to the second floor of the mansion. He puts a few things together quickly and says, "Hey, that's not right." with some exclamation. "You keep those thieving mitts off my stuff. Not that I even remember what's up there... but that's not the point." His hands move from their pockets and his toes dig into the grass. He finds her suggestion funny and definitely disarming.

Storm has posed:
Ororo grins widely and gives a playful little roll of her eyes. "Oh come on! You have an entire closet I can use for -my- stuff! Plus, I don't -really- rummage in your stuff. I mean, there are so many -other- people whose stuff I could peek through." She clicks her tongue and then sighs out, arms crossing as she pulls back from that hug. "But... speaking of getting settled again. I was thinking we need to do more around the mansion. A weekly... family dinner sort of thing? I promise I won't make you wash dishes."

Havok has posed:
"You know, a family dinner is a great idea. But the seating... you know there are certain people you can't put side by side. Especially Rogue and Remy now days. That whole marriage thing went sideways and who knows what's gonna happen next." Alex notes while looking back to her with a grin. He adds, "And I'm sure there are people you can't sit next to, for fear of biting."

Storm has posed:
Ororo huffs out and snickers. "Well, I mean... there's -always- a risk sitting next to Rogue. A slip of the hand passing the mashed potatoes and -bam-." She tilts her head from side to side, hips shifting in opposite angles as she hums out. "I think you just want to tease me about nibbling on people. How do you know I'm not the nibblee and not the nibbler, hmm Alex? I have -depths-!"

Havok has posed:
Alex chuckles and shakes his head. "Coming back home has been a change for me. A big one. Getting used to all of /us/ again is the big part. And seeing you so full of life that's your own is greatness. The other Ororo never cracked jokes. Unless they were dark and ominous." he then looks down her frame and says, "And she'd never wear yoga pants or be caught in a downward dog."

Storm has posed:
Ororo lets out a little laugh and bobs her head. "Well, I figured... it's relaxing, it keeps me flexible. And it helps with the hangovers if I go out and enjoy myself -too- much on the weekend." She crosses her arms again primly, eyebrows lifted. "And see? If you woke up -earlier-, you might've caught me like that, instead of missing out on my stretching." She hums and lifts an eyebrow, "Although since -I- haven't got a room, I'm totally lockpicking my way into yours and stealing the shower while you're not around. I mean... it feels like cheating if I just make it rain. Plus, the water's -never- the right temperature."

Havok has posed:
"Speaking of..." Alex says as he nods in the direction of the house. "Come on. Let's head inside. I'll let you use my shower and we'll get breakfast." He takes leading steps toward the house. Intent on her walking with him if she will. He'll also offer a new subject, "So you don't have a room. Who took it over while you were away? Cause I can see pranking in order."

Storm has posed:
Ororo laughs out and falls in step. "Shower -and- breakfast? Alex Summers, you are too -too- kind." She lets out a cheery little whistle, stashing her mat just inside the door and continuing on to keep close behind him, voice lowering to keep the volume down and assure no one else is disturbed. "You know, I'm not even sure. I'm pretty sure there's a spare room I could probably take over, but... well, lockpicking your door just sounded more -fun-."

Havok has posed:
"You just want to break and enter. I'm sure it gives you a thrill. Especially now that you don't have to do it to in the real world." Alex notes, considering her growth and development over the years. Plus, he too has grown over the past 8 weeks. 6 of them while he was away. He's no longer the jerk kid that he was before. Now he's more like a man and less like a boy. "Speaking of breakfast. What do you want to eat?" There's a blood joke somewhere in there as they make it to his door and he'll use his key to unlock it for her.

Storm has posed:
Ororo lets out a thoughtful noise and then snickers softly, "Well, I'm not going to leap on you and bite your neck, Alex. But... a half a grapefruit and some toast? Trying to start the week light and healthy." And then she's letting out a little cheer at the door being unlocked and following behind. "And hey, I can get -all- sorts of thrills, it's not like I'm just about the lockpicking. It's just a fun way to keep my fingers nimble."

Havok has posed:
Alex grins and shakes his head, "Yeah, nimble...." then he'll step aside to let her enter. "Take your time. I'll be downstairs. Hopefully some kid didn't eat the last grapefruit."
