Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Andromeda, Terra

Andromeda has posed:
The Furies have been beaten once and for all, taken into custody by the Justice League after their defeat. Several of the defenders of Earth had needed medical attention - among them the Stratan called Atlee. She had received it, up in the Watchtower. Now patched up, she was released.

Laurel had been watching the Hall, expecting something to exit the plaza. She was dreading the sound she knew would come soon, so it was a pleasing surprise to notice a familiar figure walking out of the Hall on mostly her own power.

Laurel zipped down to interecept Terra, her blue cape drifing down around her as she came to a stop and hovered over Terra's head.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
The young Stratan in question checked herself out a bit before the doctors felt she should...but they couldn't really stop her. She's not comfortable with people poking at her when she doesn't know them, after all. And she's had a bad experience in the past with people taking blood samples and testing them when she was unconscious and unable to object.

She's definitely moving a bit stiffly, bandages visible above her still undamaged costume. It, at least, is a lot more durable than she is. She looks suprised as Laurel arrives, then smiles at her. "Hello! You were at the fight...you went underground with the leader of the Furies..?"

Andromeda has posed:
"Yes. Hello. I'm Laurel." she says. "I had to come thank you for all your help. I doubt we would have taken the day if you hadn't done the things you had. You especially helped save a great number of people so we could concentrate on the battle and not in damage control." and Laurel smiles. "You're my hero."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee flushes, then scratches her cheek. "Well, thank you, but you were on the front line engaging them. I couldn't have fought them alone, certainly. And...it is what I am supposed to do, after all. I'm a champion of Strata, it's my duty to protect this world." she says, modestly. "But thank you, it's nice to be noticed sometimes."

Andromeda has posed:
Laurel shakes her head. "All I did was hit someone a few thousand times. You defended the city. _You_ protected all those lives. AND you make the victory possible by engaging the Furies before they could get away." she says.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee looks a bit flustered by the praise. "I just did what needed to be done? I didn't want them to hurt anyone else...it's bad enough that they did so much damage to the city..." She frowns. "It will take a long time to help cleaning all that up...and I'm not going to be at my best for a while." She frowns, wincing as she flexes her shoulder. "I need to go sleep deeply for a while to heal."

Andromeda has posed:
"Doing your duty is no reason not to be praised for one's efforts." Laurel insists. "But I apologize if I make you uncomfortable. I forget myself sometimes and get excited about things."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
The younger girl shakes her head. "No, it's fine...I do appreciate it. Um...I don't think I've met you officially yet, have I?" She offers a hand. "I'm Atlee...you're one of the Legionnaires?" she asks curiously. "I've only really met Luornu so far...."

Andromeda has posed:
"Yes." and she shows off her L plus starburst golden belt buckle and her Legion ring. "Luornu is the best isn't she?" Laurel asks, smiling as she takes Atlee's hand. "I hope we have a tryout sometime. I think you would be an excellent Legionnaire."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee smiles more at that, cheerfully. "Maybe...I don't know if I'd fit in well or not...though the flight rings actualy seem pretty neat!" She hesistates, then thinks. "Um, what should I call you, then?" she wonders curiously, shaking the hand firmly, before releasing it.

Andromeda has posed:
"Oh! DId I not say?" the blonde asks. "I'm Laurel. It's very nice to meet you." She lands fully, then. "I was certain I had intruduced... oh well. I forget things sometimes."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
Atlee admits. "I am having a little trouble with my memory, I might have forgotten..." she says apologetically. "But it's nice to meet you again then!" she adds quickly!
