Synopsis:	Wade takes Natasha on a surprise trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Deadpool has posed:
Wade had thought of everything. He had already packed the bags, using his teleportation belt to ferry them to their final destination. He had laid out an appropriate outfit for Natasha to wear on the bed. It was a short sleeved dress, white at the top, a sort of corset looking part across the torso, and blue at the bottom, coming to around the knee, as well as black shoes, undergarments, and a blue bow for her hair.

He had the blindfold; get your mind out of the gutter, you filthy animals, and made all the arrangements. Curiously, he still wore, or appeared to wear his trademark costume. But he had actually changed into a white shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a red belt, but he was using his image inducer to make it look like he still wore his costume.

After waiting for Natasha to get ready, he carefully tied the blindfold around her eyes to hide the surprise he'd been talking so cryptically about for the better part of a week. "Now remember, no peeking!" Slipping an arm around her waist, he pulled her in, flicked a switch on his belt to change his image inducer to a different setting, making him look normal human, but leaving his real clothes visible. Another switch, and they disappeared in a flash of light.

Reappearing somewhere else, it was warmer, about 26 degrees Celsius, or 79 Fahrenheit. There was music playing in the background, which sounded like it needed lyrics, perhaps something along the lines of 'who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?'

Taking off the blindfold, Wade smiled to Natasha, "surprise!" Fortunately, none of the other people seemed to notice anything but the blinding flash that accompanied their teleportation. It was so busy, and there were always gadgets, people flashing lights here and there, and with it being where it was, some must have assumed it was just part of a show or something. But one kid spotted it, and seemed to know. He held out a finger and pointed, "they, they just appeared, out of thin air. It was like magic."

Wade turned to the kid, "right idea, but wrong park. That's further up the I-4, kid."

It had been a very bad week. All the heroes involved from the beginning of the invastion had been working non-stop to fight back the invaders from Apokolips. Although they had won, it had been a difficult victory. Time off afterwards was a necessity for most of them. Natasha was no exception.

Wade had been hinting for days about something he wanted to do so she had finally given in and said yes. She could have tried to figure out what he was doing but he was so excited about his surprise, she didn't have the heart to ruin it for him. So she had waited, humoring him as much as she could. When the day arrived, she found herself being tugged into their bedroom where she found a dress laid out for her. It was nothing she would ever wear in her life. Yet that look on his face, masked though it may be it emoted perfectly, mixed with the puppy dog eyes she knew where underneath it just searing her soul, she had changed into the outfit. It was a sign of how excited he was to make this trip that she managed to do so without delays of their trip. She was going to draw the line at the bow but decided why not if she was wearing the silly dress.

When the appeared in the new place and he removed the blindfold, she frowned slightly as she looked around. The balloons, the hats with the ears, there were even people eacting ice cream that was in the shape of the famous mouse silhouette. Then she saw the sign and she looked at Wade with wide eyes. "Seriously? You brought me to the happiest place on Earth?" She's not sure if she should be excited or if she should punch him. Their relationship was like that sometimes. "Uhm, baby, thank you. I've never been here. Not sure I ever would've come." She's trying to be gracious.

A little kid goes by and points. "Mommy, mommy, it's Ariel! Can I get an autograph?"

Her mom smiles and shook her head. "She's just dressed up as Ariel. C'mon, we'll get see the real one and get your autograph here."

Natasha turned her green eyes to Wade. "You dressed me up as one of them?"

Wade was like a kid in a candy store. He was smiling so broadly. The sights, the sounds, the smells, they even pumped smells out into the park at various places, like fresh baked cookies here, or the beach there, whatever was appropriate. Wade was also wearing a Magic Band, and held one out for Natasha. It had Ariel on it. His had a cartoon of a redhead in black. He must have had his custom made, as it actually looked a lot like the Black Widow, but in animated form. "Would you have preferred Rapunzel or Anna?" He asked, when she seemed to be none to pleased that he had dressed her up as Ariel. "Or maybe you're an Aurora girl?"

The saddest part of this is she knew who all those people were. Natasha had received an education in the wonderful world of the mouse from Wade. Prior to him, she'd never watched any of their films. After, she could probably sing half the songs in them. All of the songs in certain ones that he played the most often or was singing. Though in truth, he often was singing his own versions of the songs instead of the ones from the movies. "Since you were going with the readhead theme, I'm guessing Ariel is the better choice for me than Anna." She takes the offered Magic Band and looks at it before shaking her head with a small smile. Then she captures his wrist and looks at the image of her. "You actually got an animated version of me for yours?" She puts on her band as she chuckles softly.

Wade nodded his head, "yeah, because no matter how much I like these Princesses," and she knows how much he likes the Princesses from the number of times he's made her watch their films, "I have my own princess at home." Someone had once suggested to him that she was in fact Grand Duchess Anastasia, the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, though with her past, he doubted he would ever know for certain. He had occasionally joked about it with her.

Walking with her into the queue to get into the park, he pressed his band to the Mickey face, and it lit up green, then hers did the same, and just like that, they were inside the Magic Kingdom. He had arranged for Fastpasses, actually paid someone to hack their system so they basically had Fastpasses to every ride, or a ridiculous number of general fastpasses, like 30 or something. "So, what are you in the mood for first? A mountain ride, meeting a character, a dark ride, a roller coaster, a show? Or maybe you'd like to meet Ariel?"

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
At the suggestion, Natasha bursts out laughing as she shakes her head. "No, I think I'll pass on meeting Ariel. And since it is my first time here and I've never been to a theme park in my life, I will bow to your expertise in this matter." She takes a moment once they are just inside the park to slip her arms around his shoulders. She stands on tiptoe and gives him a quick kiss, not wanting to make it too much and scandalize all the kiddies around them. "This was very sweet, Baby. Thank you." Then she settles back by his side, taking his hand in hers. "You show me everything you like here." Then she thinks of something and there is a flash of mischief in her eyes. "Maybe I should meet Ariel so that you can get a picture of us together. That could keep you company when I'm working."

Wade was glad to hear her laugh and see her smile like that. She had just come through such an ordeal, it was nice to see this other side of her. And the public display of affection was most welcome. He slipped his own hands around her waist and kissed her back, before taking her hand in his. "Oh, I like that idea," of course, he wasn't looking mischievious there. He probably just genuinely liked everything about this place. He led her along the border of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, past the Mad Tea Party, and up towards the meet and greet with Ariel in her grotto. They got into the fast pass lane, which didn't take long, and shortly, they would get to have their photos taken, together or singly, with an Ariel in her Little Mermaid form.

The Mad Tea Party got a long look from Natasha. The screaming and laughing figures with the force of the ride pulling their heads and bodies to teh side while they spun madly in their cups. They seemed to be having a lot of fun though she wondered how they managed to keep down all that mousey ice cream. Then she was tugged and she followed, slipping into a line. She leaned against him while they waited, which wasn't too long but she was enjoying the casual affection of the posture. Then it was their turn. She stepped forward and got a delighted reaction from the real Ariel who had to oooh and ahhh over her choice of dress. They were offered a chance of two pictures, because Ariel wanted one for herself. So the first picture was of mermaid Ariel and legged Ariel-Natasha with an arm around each other and a big smile for the camera. The second picture, Wade was dragged in and placed in the middle. Natasha gave him a kiss on the cheek for the pic although real Ariel would not do such a thing because of her love for Eric. Or so she espoused for the crowd who were snapping their own pictures of the pair.

Wade was in heaven. He was in a place he loved, with the woman he loved, and he had not a care in the world. Which meant that something bad was probably about to happen, like a Hurricane, or a terrorist threat, or worse, the office would call Natasha and she'd have to go. But for as long as the real world was kept at bay, he would savour every precious last moment with her.

After their photos had been taken, Wade got the real Ariel to sign his autograph book, and then had the photographer scan his magic band so he could download the photos. As they moved out of the meeting area, Wade remarked, "there's a Little Mermaid ride next door. Wanna see?" Having all those fastpasses really did help. He again stood close to her, and even slipped an arm around her waist, pulling her in close. As they moved along, he took one moment to whisper something in her ear that he hoped would make her blush.

It's quite difficult to make Natasha blush but she does chuckle softly at his comment. Then she leans in close and whispers something back in his ear, equally scandalous. A moment later and they are entering the fastpass line for the ride he had suggested. Not sure what to excect, she simply leaned back against him and laid her arm over his which was curled around her waist. For a moment, she let her eyes close and just snjoyed being. With him, in this place, away from all the darkness of the world she usually lived in. It's what the doctor ordered.

She opened her eyes as she tilted her head back, looking up and over her shoulder at him. "How long do we have here?" She's been there less than twenty minutes. Sure, she is keeping an eye on the surroundings and making sure that there isn't an assassin sneaking up on them but for her, she is actually relaxing. Muscles are untensing that are normally ready to react in an instant. It's the strangest thing really and she has him to thank for it. Perhaps there was some sort of magic in the air in this place.

"As long as you want. We have a room in the Contemporary Resort, that's the one the monorail goes through the middle of." He sounded so excited to be staying there, and had probably booked a far longer time than was necessary, but then, with his job, it wasn't as though he couldn't afford it. Holding her tightly, they got into the ride, which was a dark ride and retold the story of the Little Mermaid with animatronics and music. It was a quaint little fun excursion. And during it, he leaned in to give her another kiss.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As he leans in for that kiss, Natasha settles closer against him. She misses about half the ride as they seem to be more intersted in their time here together instead of the actually display of animatronics they are riding through. When they aren't sharing kisses, she is leaned up against him, his arm around her shoulders holding her close. She doesn't have to ask questions because The Little Mermaid is one of the films she knows all the songs in. He likes it. A lot. Thus she likes it because it makes him happy.

When they emerge at the end of the ride, she regrets it being over so quickly. They emerge back into the world and she leans up to whisper. "I'll give you a choice. More park or you show me the hotel with the monorail through it?"

Deadpool has to genuinely think about that one. On the one hand, he loves the parks, all of them, but the Magic Kingdom above all others. But on the other hand, they did have a Theme Park view at the Contemporary Hotel, and there was a neat restaurant called Chef Mickey's. Largely because they had tickets for multiple days, he finally decided, after oohing and ahhing, "let's go see the hotel. Hopefully I packed everything we'll need for this trip. I'm pretty sure I packed your toothbrush and other stuff."
