Synopsis: To save his students, Tommy Oliver calls in the assistance of Captain America-- who in turn, brings some backup in the form of Winter Soldier and Black Widow.
Cast of Characters: Green Ranger, Captain America, Black Widow (Romanoff), Winter Soldier

Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy Oliver is so close to saving his students, getting them off the streets. But after finding Mindy and learning where she had gotten seperated from her brothers who had developed mutant powers. Tommy discovered something that has left him livid and prhaps to some out classed. Goldar has the twin brothers. Having left an articule of clothing with some of their blood on it, not much just a few drops, and a message.

A message for the Green Ranger to come to the Narrows in the old factory and Surrender to him or the brats would be taking his place as Rita's chosen warriors. And she would not be gentle.

With Captain America there Tommy's options were limited he didn't know how to get intouch with the green ranger, but knew where the ranger had met him in gotham and he would head there hoping to draw his attention. And With it asked Captain America to head on hopefully help the Green Ranger save the teens. Tommy also claiming he would show up asap to help fight and free them.

Of course Tommy is hoping praying that Captain america will see his distraught emotional state and insist that he and others handle it alone.

Captain America has posed:
The island in the middle of Gotham River feels particularly cold tonight. The chill in the air bites all exposed skin--a call to the coming fall and retreating longer days of summer. Or, perhaps, the River itself brings with it a crispness sure to give way to winter.

Steve and Tommy had met quite by accident some weeks before, but it had turned into an easy partnership to find the missing students. It hadn't been hard to implore him to help find the twins. He had even volunteered to find enforcements to join in any recovery efforts. "Tommy, just take care of Mindy," he'd asserted almost wearily on the phone. "I'll bring back up," which he thinks he can find. Probably. "I think it'd be best if you sat out of this one," it'd been gentle but not really open to questions.

And so, with his cohorts in tow, Captain America rather than Steve Rogers treads to the edge of the Narrows. With his infamous red, white, and blue costume, complete with its embedded SHIELD technology, and the shield at his back, he's come ready for resistance. His jaw tightens and he looks towards the others. But he manages a crooked smile, albeit a weak one, "I think Gotham is better at night. Honestly, I have no idea why I there'd be an art supply store here worth checking out," it turned out to be a strip club.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"I'm sure they have some. Somewhere. Just not this particular neighborhood," Natasha murmurs from the side, glancing around at the area and getting a lay of the land. She is dressed in her work uniform, the black bodysuit with holsters on each thigh holding her Glocks. The wristsbands she is known for that carry so many of her toys are on her wrists. Version 3.0, thanks to Tony Stark's boredom of a few weeks ago. Or perhaps it was a caffeine induced creating spree. She didn't ask.

When the call came in from Steve, she didn't hesitate. Helping find missing kids, she would've been there come hell or hight water. Although she was not expecting the third member of their little group. It had been a shock to the system but her training kept it from showing. Though there was some tension in her since she hadn't seen him officially since his recovery. She'd been avoiding it, leaving him to the others to help through.

Winter Soldier has posed:
It is, perhaps, rather ironic that the bite of encroaching winter is the air. Bucky Barnes has just escaped his own eighty-year winter. The chill does not affect the erstwhile Winter Soldier in the least, but the memories it stirs up bring him to frown more deeply than usual, unpleasant thoughts furrowing a line between his brows as he steps silently up at Steve's left side. He's still avoiding standing in any way that would put his left arm towards people he would sooner die than harm.

He's been a rather solitary, reclusive sort over the past many weeks-- coming to terms with decades of abuse will do that-- but one constant that kept him coming back to civilization was any hint of need on the part of Steve Rogers. Guilt is a powerful force, and with his first impulse-- to start running and never stop-- not really an option, his second came into play: to watch Steve's back any way he could. The call came, and he answered.

He's dressed mutedly in tactical black, compared to how his brother stands out in costume, heavily armed but not yet with any weapons drawn save his arm, which is always drawn. As for art supplies and strip clubs. "Strip clubs'll supply you all the art you could want, if the ladies are good-looking enough," he remarks with a crooked and fleeting grin, a ghost of the old Bucky coming to the fore.

He has not spoken to Natasha either, though there is a muted shame to the way he avoids her eyes that suggests the age-old 'it's not you, it's me.' He hadn't expected Natasha either, and he doesn't think he is ready.

Green Ranger has posed:
Of course Tommy will argue and growl at it, but he will relent reluctantly accepting the wisdom of his elder. has Mindy in good care, he's contacted his guardians to help take care of Mindy, and this has left him with the ability to seek out the Green Ranger. Of Course Tommy is angry beyond measure and so after he hung up the phone and allowed himself to center himself he Morphed.

The Narrows are not a nice place but this area in the factory is not typical, there is almost no one there. Shadows Move in the distance. A pair of boys are muffled and gagged. Hanging from their wrists by some sort of golden rope. An energy field sparks and shimmers around their wrists and their ankles. They dangle in midair as they also have what appear to be energy gags are over them as a large monster like dog in golden armor with wide wings moves around.

"The Green Ranger will come Scorpina and then we'll take back the powers he stole from Rita!"

Replying to him as she says, "Careful Goldar, wouldn't surprise me if the other Rangers showed up to help.

And at that a Monster that is wielding a sword and looks like some sort of skeleton like monster says, "Regardless I will succeed where you two have failed."

The Factory is wide, open, with rafters and on the rafters are various human shaped monsters that are moving around almost eratically as they seem to be there guarding the rafters from assault up there.

In the Middle of the Factory is a flash of Green Light as a Green a gold armored figure stands holding an ornate Dagger, "Goldar I'm here! Release the Kids this is between you and me!"

"Oh No! Green Ranger, You will be returning to Rita's service or they will be taking your place!" And at this point The Grey creatures are moving to the ropes binding them and soon the floor under the twins opens up showing what looks to be a very long drop awaiting them, to who knows where!

There is One good thing, all eyes are on the Green Ranger.

Captain America has posed:
Steve's cheeks feel hot at Bucky's assertion. His chin tucks towards his chest bashfully and he nods slightly. He's sure he's as red as the tone in his suit; he's not wrong.

The trio enters the building through one of the far factory windows, a quiet entrance, and, thanks to the distraction given by the Green Ranger, they manage to get inside with little pomp or circumstance. There's something odd about not being the figure people shoot at--it had been the entire purpose of Captain America's costume in the second World War, and it actually causes Cap to frown.

But having another distraction certainly provides them time and space to complete some heroics of their own. Steve casts Bucky a long look and then shoots one to Nat as he tugs the shield magnetized to his back. "Someone's going to have to get them down," he says lowly towards the pair, about the twins.

Yet apparently, it's not going to be Cap. Captain America breaks into a sprint, winds up the shield, and throws it as hard as he can manage at the flying armour-dog. He keeps running, hoping to catch the shield's ricochet from the metallic plating along the dogs flanks. "Wanna play catch?" he asks with a a toothy boyish grin.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Taking in the numbers and types of opponents, Natasha frowns a little but she isn't going to waste time. "I've got the kids," she says flatly, words meant for both her companions. Now that they are in work mode, her body goes into a more relaxed posture. Still, she is avoiding looking at Bucky as much as he avoids her. Then she is gone, sprinting in the direction of the figures about to drop the kids.

Only, she doesn't continue that way. Instead she is leaping off the railing herself as she flings herself into the air even as a small 'pfft' of displaced air announcing the firing of her line. The grapple buries itself in a beam high above and then the line begins retracting, drawing her upwards and in an arc in the direction of the twins. Her intention is to get hold of them and swing to safety before they can be dropped. Then she'll deal with the multitude of minions.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Some things really don't change after eighty years. Steve being really easy to fluster is one of them. It's a welcome point of familiarity, for a man still recovering from eight decades of ill use, and reawakened into a modern world that must seem-- at times-- completely foreign.

He's kind enough to let Steve off the hook, at least, especially when they get into the building and it quickly becomes clear how dire the situation is. Bucky trades one long, wordless look with Steve, and then unslings the carbine at his back, settling the short rifle in his arms with the ease of long familiarity.

Natasha calls the rescue, still not looking at him. Her familiar voice almost brings him to speak a Russian affirmative before he catches himself. The lapse aggravates him even more, though he still watches with an old instructor's approving air as she moves seamlessly into an adroit swinging leap.

"Putting down cover fire," he says, and maintains his distance and whatever high ground he can find, firing in short precise bursts at the minions closest to the trajectories of Steve and Natasha to clear their paths.

Green Ranger has posed:
the attack comes without a hitch as the shield goes flying through the air. And as it hits the armor of Goldar he is struck and knocked for a loop staggered back as Scorpina's eyes home in one of the new attackers and she screams, "Drop the Brats into the well of darkness!" she calls out and instantly the Putties begin to move to the rope to drop them.

The Kids struggle and try and cry. A mix of anger and fear rushing through them at the sight of the Green Ranger. Their powers surpressed by those mystical bands.

Scorpina pulls her hand back and then throws it in the direction of the Captain America and fires off several energy blasts. Which are promptly intercepted by the Green Ranger who takes the impact right in the chest as it hit shis shield sparking and producing an explosion. He's not even staggered.

The Bone like Monster lunges and Jumps at the Green Ranger swinging his sword at him which the Green Ranger blocks and deflects with his dagger.

There is total Trust fromt he Green Ranger in Captain America, trusting him to have brought allies.

A number of the gray monster men jump from the rafters to start swarming over the Green Ranger and Captian America. Like a mass of mongoose they duck dodge weave make faints moving at one, only two or three at a time actually try to strike as one. The rest simply a distraction to try and force them to recoil and react leaving them open.

NAtasha finds that right now she has the advantage as the Grappel allows her to swing effortless ly but there is a shield around the Kids in the form of a pillor, and then just as she might hit it. The Green Ranger leaves himself open pointing his Dagger at the shield at the Base and firews off a strong beam of energy, almost as bright as the sun, as it impacts the shield and shatters allowing her to swing in to catch the kids just as the rope holding them is cut! The Result is that the Bone monster brings his sword down on the Green Ranger's back hard, fast and brutal as two cross strikes are made sending him flying forward screaming in pain.

The Winter Solder fids his targets hit true as Goldar Recovers but he actually manages to swing his blade fast enough to deflect the shots now that he is recovered. The Ranger calls out his his modulated voice. "The Grey Monsters along with the skeleton are constructs. Only Goldar and Scorpina are true living creatures. Mr Bone's Head is his weakness any other damage will simply be repaired instantly. You must break him apart to take advantage of this vulneribility." HE says as he is back on his feet tangling with Goldar blocking sword stikes with his dagger as he says. "You just don't learn Goldar, I was always stronger faster than you!"

Captain America has posed:
Cap catches the shield in his grasp with a clang. It's old hat, and the familiarity of his shield, being in a room where they're outnumbered, and generally have the odds against them draws a spark in his eyes. Blue eyes keenly track Scorpina when she fires blasts at him, but a nod of thanks follows the Ranger's ability to take the hit.

Grey monsters surround them, and Cap scans the group before enacting a defense. The shield tracks hard against the beasts, cutting at the golems with extreme force. He parries hard, spinning around and knocking one hard on its back. He doubles back with the shield, tossing it towards another one of the monsters before punching one closest to him.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As the rope is released, Natasha's arc brings her in just as the boys drop. They are caught in her arm and she continues to swing, the practiced arc allowing her to come to a landing on a metallic walkway near the ceiling. There she sets the boys down carefully. She quickly works on untying them enough that their arms are at least free. She says in a soft voice, giving them a reassuring smile, "We're going to take care of these guys. But do me a favor and cover your ears, okay? It's about to get really loud." For though the shots from across the way where the Winter Soldier rests are loud, the ones she will be firing from five feet away from the boys are going to be worse.

Natasha draws both Glocks and begins picking off the gray figures as they try to get near her or the boys. Every shot is unerringly in the head. They aren't alive, she doesn't have to worry about not killing to keep Cap happy.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Well of darkness? "That's no good," Bucky mutters, mostly to himself, as he ejects an empty magazine and puts in a fresh one. What's also no good is the fact that the monster with the sword is fast enough to deflect his shots. He cocks his head, surveying the mess below with critical blue eyes, well-versed in appraising things from a position of overwatch.

Also well-versed in listening to information when it's yelled at him. Only two of the targets are actual living creatures, he hears, but more importantly...

Lifting the carbine and sighting, the Winter Soldier eschews cover fire and takes a more precise aim. A much more precise aim. The next three-round burst is targeted right at the bone head of the skeleton. The gesture is as rote as breathing, after a lifetime of sniping straight for an enemy's singular weakness: whether that be deleting an enemy officer, or hitting enemy fortification in its one vulnerable spot.

Green Ranger has posed:
The one benefit of the Shield that Cap has is it has Vibranium in it. And Vibranium absorbs magical energys so his shield is rather effective agains the Putty Patrolers. But being made of a combination of Clay and Rock, makes it tricky to throw the shield as the clay absorbs some of the impact which could throw the shield's aim off.

The Putties take a full hit of the shield and it seems to smash them but punching them is like trying to punch a statute made of stone or lime stone at least. And that can give them a chance to counter attack on Captian America. Kicks, punches, even attempts to grapple, some are true, most are false. But still they have super human speed, agility and of course strength.

For Natasha she has another problem as the boy's bonds are broken now that they are free and cover their ears. And they move back. And this is when Scorpina throws her curved blade like Sword at her and the boys, the energy covered blade acts like a Boomerang as she lunges at the Black Widow. "Welcome Black Widow, Come Dance with Scorpina! You could be a powerful servant for Rita! Perhaps the new Green Ranger!" and of course her armor can take the shots of the Glock as she tries to run forward to punch claw and kick at her with all the enhanced abilities of a meta human, and of course her tail does come out to try and deliver a near lethal sting of both electricity and venom.

For Winter Soldier he will find the Bone monster has rushed at him. The Shots actually take off the Monster's head as it is knocked to the ground and bounces around as he screams, "Oh no! Lost my head What will I do? Why this of course!" And instantly the head bounces off a wall and then rebounces back to the neck of the skeleton as he uses his sword to channel some destructive energy and lashes it out throwing a wave of energy in the direction of the Winter Soldier.

For the Green Ranger the ability to fight goldar one on one is not missed. The pair have an intense hatred for one another, as the Green Ranger is forced to withdraw after a sword strike and goldar persues him.

Reaching a rafter as Goldar Pushes him The green ranger runs up the colum with a foot, flipping over behind goldar and with a swift Kick kicks him in the back knocking him through the steel post through a wall. There are many things that can identify a person. And a martial artist has their own unique fighting style. And the Green Ranger's is absolutely Visious..

Captain America has posed:
"Huh," Cap murmurs eloquently when the shield's aim hits unusually. Instead of waiting for it to ricochet back to him, he sprints after it, sliding against the floor to catch up to the weapon he's thrown. Instead of using it to toss at the clay assailants, he opts to strike hard and true with the vibranium surface.

He whacks the top, in an effort to knock it off with the edge of the weapon, and follows the hit with a kick to the grey monster's chest to force it backwards against the wall. It's heavy against him, but he's also got strength in his legs and arms that serves him well with each of the efforts.

Still in his grasp, he uses the shield itself as his fist, crushing it against the stone and causing an array of dust to emit from the place where he strikes hard against the rock-man.

What he wouldn't give for a little bit of hydrochloric acid right now--the effects on limestone he only knows because of his artist-heart willing protection of statues from acid rain.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As the sword is thrown her way, Natasha brings up her wristbands and crosses them, left over right. The contacts meet and a hum of power announces the invisible shild before her. The sword hits the repulsor shield and hopefully gets knocked back enough that it won't return to the owner although that doesn't seem to be stopping the golden armored woman. Lowering the shield, she continues to fire but the armor is protecting the woman. Natasha shoves her weapons back into the holsters where they click home and will remain unless she puts her hands on the grips again. As Scorpina begins to run her mouth, Natasha twists her wrists, dropping a pair of expandable batons into her hands. With another flick, they are both expanded, the handle extending out the side to fall into her palm. She fires up the pair of tonfas which glow with blue light.

"I perfer having my own mind. I will serve no one against my will again," she says in a low tone almost like a growl. The situation with her former comrade a little too close to the surface. As the attack comes, she uses the tonfas to help bolster her strength so she doesn't get a broken arm when blocking. She has to keep moving as the woman is fast, adding in that tail which has her on the defensive at first trying to get an idea of her style. Then she shifts her grip and it is the Widow on the offense, attacking hard and fast, a series of hits with the tonfas followed by a roundhouse kick at Scorpina's head.

Winter Soldier has posed:
The shots sure take the skeleton's head off, and Bucky makes the mistake of taking his eye off the creature for half a second to check on Steve (seems to be fine) and Natasha (also fine). When he looks back, it's to find that he might not be the one who's fine in a second. The skull rebounds right back onto the monster's body, which summarily proceeds to lunge at him and sling some kind of energy wave straight for him.

"Huh," the Winter Soldier observes, much like his brother did just a moment earlier.

Then he puts up his weapon, freeing his arms, and darts forward. The energy slices towards him, and he slides straight under it, missing it by hairs, swiveling up afterwards to swing his left arm in a straight hook directly for the skeleton's head. The steel arm shrieks as its mechanisms spin up with the exertion. His aim is plainly to apply enough force with the metal fist to crumple the bone.

Green Ranger has posed:
Captain America has the most effective weapon here, the shield disrupts the magical energies holding the Putties together and they break and shatter. But it does take some effort to smash through them. the Putty he pushes against the wall burbles and blithers out as he all but makes it explode in a shower of dust. More Putty patrollers come up behin the Star Spangled avenger as they form their hands into blades and large spiked maces trying to hit him from behind. A few even throw them selves at his legs trying to roll and sweep his legs out from under him. But attack after attack. Captian America is Thinning the Clay brains.

As Scorpina's blade is knocked to the side and it hits thr ground she does strike and attack the female warrior as she laughs and says. "Oh My dear, you will absolutely LOVe being in Rita's service." And of course scorpina is not stupid as she is soon pushed to the defensive as she twists turns and then with one elagant motion her blade flys to her hands as she tries to use it to cut open the Widow's knees, followed up by a lash from her tail stinger, "One sting and you will never worry about that again spider!" she says.

Of course throught he Fight Natasha has of course found her self with several openings, as she is able to deliver a devistating blow. But the Warrior woman seems to shrug it off for now as she uses her blade to parry, block redirect and strike at Natasha attempting to hit her with her Scorpion tail!

Indeed the green ranger did say you had to break him apart to take advantage of the isolated head! And as the energy wave passes over the Winter Soldier and then as the Skeleton is hit his arm penetrates the sternum of the bone monster as he screams and then explodes. Bones fly everywhere, as a flash of light goes off as a chackling is heard and the bones fly hitting the ground as the sound of them sounds like real bones and the chackling is head as the head spins flying through the air as there is just a moment, but a flash of light and all the bones fly to the skull, and reform the monster back into one whole being as he lunches at the Winter Soldier again. Now If that pattern holds up, Maybe just maybe the Winter solder can take advantage of the moments it needs before it reforms into a whoile creature.

Lunching at him swinging that magically enhanced and formed blade at the Winter soldier as he says, "I'll take that Pretty arm and give it to Rita as a gift! Maybe she will turn it into a new monster!"

Of course Goldar is trying to taunt the Green Ranger, "If your friends really cared for you they would be hear instead of these pathetic human freaks, you will never be one of the Rangers always an outcast!"

And of course that gets a punch to his face as the Green Ranger screams, "Rita made me a Monster! She turned me into a weapon, My friends the other rangers are not here because I asked them to let me handle this!" he says as he delivers blow after blow to Goldar, Dagger slash, stab, thrust. As The green ranger simply forgoes defence taking hit after hit from goldar to deliver blow after blow. But the Green Ranger doesn't seem to be weakening at all. Kick, and punch as he avoids direct killing blows.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America's agility keeps him dodging and ducking the cumbersome rock monsters. It's fortunate that he can duck and spin and twist so easily. Blow after blow gets dodged, leaving a long pattern of near misses. Of course, as the number of the clay monsters increases, it gets trickier to dodge.

One of the sharp blades cuts towards Steve from behind, catching a piece of his shoulder and eliciting a sharp groan from the back of his throat. He misses the swipe at his legs as a result, and is knocked down hard to a loud thud. The golem opportunistically lunges towards him, cutting downwards while Cap finds himself in a compromising permission. The shield snaps up, holding the rock-blade from cutting downwards with a combination of will and strength.

As he's getting crushed between the ground and rock-beast, he rolls, momentarily abandoning the shield, and causing it to loudly clatter as it hits the cement.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Natasha continues to shift and move, jumping upward and vaulting from the walkway railing to get out of range of the sword. Only to have that tail coming in fast and hard. She manages to drop back to the walkway, crouching, letting it pass overhead but it was close. The tonfas are brought around, hooking and driving at the back of Scorpina's knees in an attempt to get her on the ground. Nothing she is doing is having much effect so she opts for a new toy. A flick of her wrist and a pair of tiny disks fly to attach to the front of Scorpina's armor. A second later, they explode with electrical blasts meant to incapacitate an opponet for several minutes. The tonfas are brought in again and this time she fires up the electrical power on them as well, again going for a body struck in an attempt to overwhelm.

Winter Soldier has posed:
The Soldier studies his opponent with incurious blue eyes as the skeleton flies apart again, leaving the lone head spinning isolated on the floor... and then reforms again. Everything zooms straight back to the skull when it reforms, he notes, and there's a moment where the instructions called out suddenly /click/ and make sense. Necessity makes for a swift teacher, one from whom Bucky always learned quickly.

His mouth thins as the sword-wielding construct makes its taunt. Take his arm and turn it into a monster, huh? "This arm and I already did time as a monster, thanks," he observes dryly, watching as the blade comes howling in-- and twisting past it at the last moment. Its edge comes close enough it shears open his right sleeve, as the Winter Soldier snaps his left arm out in an attempt to send the skeleton clattering to pieces again.

Except this time, when the lone skull hits the floor, Bucky is aiming dead at it with the P220 sidearm he's drawn, pulling the trigger.

Distantly he registers what's happening with the others in the room: restless to get freed up to go help the others. What he hears in the background between Goldar and the Ranger brings him to grit his jaw. Maybe it's hitting a little too close to home.

Green Ranger has posed:
Green Ranger Turns his head to spot captain America having lost his shield and with a snap he draws what appears to be a side arm, in the shame of a a blaster and then calls out, "CAPTAIN!" And then he throws it in Steve's direction The Red and White blaster throwing true. As it spins through the air. It will pack a nice heavy punch thank's to it's setting. Of course the blade somehow seems to tell Steve that a flick of the wrist will convert it to a dagger blade form. Another flick back to a blaster.

Still the Putties are relentless as some even go for that shield intent to pick it up and take it to Goldar.

Slashing with his Dragon Dagger the Green Ranger's strikes cause explosions and sparks on Goldar as he ducks, and dodges using his own momentum to avoid being hit down as he spins and turns pointing his dagger in the directions of the Putties who are trying to go for that shield and a green burst of energy firest from the blade cutting across at the shoulder height of a number of putties attempting to thin them out. Their numbers have dropped dramatically as onely maybe a dozen are left.

For Natasha, the trick works as Scorpina will duck and dogue her blow and then the disks hit landing on her arms and then when the electrical shock comes she screams in pain as she jerks up as her body is wracked with a number of convusions. And it allows the Black widow to develiver a visuious blow after vicious blow. Natasha's expriance and understanding of the human form allow her to develiver some devistating blows to Scorpina's arms, legs, knees, elbows and head and face. It's enough to send hr back on the pure defence as she tries to raise a much less effective defence. As the Widow pummels her!

For Bucky now that he unserstands his enemy he has half won the battle and the Skeleton quips, "Then you should have a good time reliving it when you are a giant smashing the cities of earth!" he cackles out and then as he is hit in the chest and the same thing happens as the Skeleton monster shatters as the bones fly to peices flying everywhere. The head sales off spinning and Cackling as he says, "There I go all to peices again!"

and then the shot comes, it sends the skull off kilter as it screams, shot after shot needs to be fired and it seems to work as the bones tremble but are not pulled to gether. On the eighth shot the skull cracks, and the ninth, explodes. Of course this causes the bones to explode with some force as well, putty patrolers are sent flying as it rocks the ware house.

With the Loss of the Putties and the monster, Goldar and Scorpina are now pulling back trying to withdraw to escape. Goldar Snarls out as he says,

"You haven't heard the last of us!" and with one arm crossed over his chest he vanishes in a flash of light teleporting out.

Battered beaten Scorpina hits the ground as a series of flashes happen over here as she teleports out.

The Putties crumble into dust, and start to disintigrate, and as the Green Ranger Roares out in frustration. he seems content with the Victory.

But the battle is far from over, as a pair of energy blasts erupt from the side of the warehouse and hit the Green Ranger in the back causing an explosion that sends him flying into a support beam.

One of the boys screams, "You murdered our parents!"

Captain America has posed:
The blaster gets caught and Cap fires at will, shattering the golems one after another in an array of rock and dust. Each cracks and implodes. And while Steve isn't someone to be so caught up with the novelty of something so advanced technologically (he really is a Luddite at heart), he's mesmerized at the weapon's efficacy. His voice actually drops, and it's like that time Peggy shot rounds into his vibranium shield. "This. Is. Awesome."

He fires again. And again. Even if the monsters don't stay down, it buys him time.

It grants Steve that measure of space to grasp the shield again. His fingers clasp it and he is sanding once again to thin out the putties, giving the green ranger a sharp nod.

But then it's won. The energy changes and their efforts are rewarded with a flash of light that blinds and causes the Captain to cinch his eyes shut. He looks towards the kid that screams and then back to the Green Ranger.

"I'm so so sorry about your parents," empathy first. And then truth. "He wasn't... he wasn't in his right mind," he finally manages. And it might become clear to others there are reasons this situation tugged on Steve's heartstrings beyond the presence of kidnapped children. "They were controlling him--"

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Her right arm is on fire. At least it feels like it. Apparently that tail managed to score as it passed by in the last attack, slicing through the material of Natasha's uniform and leaving a shallow scratch on her arm. It's enough that the venom is burning into her system, as thoughs he was stung by numerous scorpions as once. Yet, she has fought with worse pain than that. She continues to drive her attack, merciless, revealing in the moment when her opponent hits the ground. Then as she is coming in for another blow, Scorpina just disappears. A soft curse in Russian comes from her lips then she is turning to check on the boys--Only to find them attecking with some sort of energy blasts. Hearing Caps's words, she is listening very closely. She doesn't draw a weapon but she is poised, ready to use a Widow's Bite on the boy if necessary.

Those words strike too close to home and she flicks a gaze toward Bucky, the first time she's looked at him tonight. For him, it is too fresh. At least for her it is years in the past. A moment of shared pain then she is back to focusing on the threat, no matter how small it is in stature. If she has to, she will take him down.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Already did too much city-smashing too," Bucky mutters to himself with a grimace of memory, "though probably not exactly in the way you're talking about--"

Yeah, even after eighty years, the Bucky Barnes that used to run his mouth constantly is still there under the pall of the Winter Soldier.

But of all the things Bucky expected, upon resolving one threat and turning to find the others dispersing, it wasn't 'the kids they're trying to save turning on one of their saviors.'

You murdered our parents!

At first Bucky just looks confused, but as Steve starts to explain... slow realization fans across his features. His expression tightens down into an expressionless lock, the look of a man struck straight to the heart in a weak point of his own. He catches Natasha looking at him, knows why, and his gaze drops as he turns away. He holds his silence. Steve is better equipped for this than he is.

Green Ranger has posed:
Blown into the wall The Green Ranger took that hit completely blindsided and it hurt like hell. He's on the ground trying to turn over and get to his feet. Listening to Captian America. He knows that this was coming as he struggles to get to his feet. His healing abilities are already working to restore him but this is the aftermath of what he did and he has to deal with it.

And The other boy calls out tears in his eyes as he says, "What about all the other people he hurt he killed?!"

AS the Green Ranger stands up he is unsteady as he sheaths his dagger. "And I feel their death every day. I remember every thing I did with perfect clarity. Rita stole my hope, she stole my compassion, she stole my love. Everything that made me a person, she took it and made me a weapon. And I live with that everyday knowing what I did and there was nothing I could do to stop it."

He approaches the boys standing his ground as they unleash another blast of energy which hits the Green Ranger without mercy sending him to the ground as he once more struggles. His armor smoking, suit battered, possible cracks in his visor as he says finally.

If the only way for you to find peace is to kill me, then do so I won't stop you." he says slowly standing up step by step slowly approaching the boys, hand out in friendship, the pain in the green Ranger's voice clear as day.

And the Boys tears running down their eyes as the voice of a girl is heard calling to her brothers, to try and make them stop. Coming up as the three are united, and it doesn't take long before the two boys scared, exhausted, terrified, kneel down weak and drained. Still the Green Ranger approaches then slowly coming over to kneel down to try and hug them to just hold them, protectively as he looks to Captian America. "They have suffered too much, can you make sure they are not seperated?"

Captain America has posed:
While Captain America stands in his uniform, wholly Cap. The expression is all Steve. Something cracks behind blue eyes when the kids call out. "I know," he says softly to the kids. Increasingly, he knows there are no easy answers. He wishes for a day when there were, and often dreams of it. Steve sets the weapon he'd been holding down and lifts his hands in the air. "But he came here to help you. We all did." He glances towards his cohorts.

"You won't find peace that way," he counters to the Green Ranger's comment. "Killing doesn't do that. Destruction doesn't do that." He blinks hard. Blue eyes are awash in thought, and, a gentle reprimand of his own for him. "Justice does."

His eyes sweep to the green ranger and he nods. "I'll do everything I can. You have my word." He doesn't know the system, but something in his status should still have some sway. He hopes.

Green Ranger has posed:
After a while the Boys seem to realize that the Green Ranger is not the monster they thought he was. And they just seem to hold him and aftr a moment as he will stand up and looking to Natasha realizing that she has been stung. A few moments Later he touches his Wrist communicator. "Alpha, we have someone here who was stung by Scorpina, we need and antivenom agent."

And a few moments Later he will hold out his hand and a capsule will be teleported into his hand. "Here this will neutrilize the Venom in your partner, there is enough to run tests on. But the long the venom stays the more damage it does." he tells Captain America as he places his hand on his belt and the Blade Blaster appears in his other holster and then in a flash of green light the Green Ranger teleports away.
