Cast of Characters: Shadowcat, Okhotnik, Pixie

Shadowcat has posed:
The petite brunette known to some as Shadowcat and others as simply Kitty walks along the back of the yard near the cliffs with one hand shoved in her pants pocket, carrying a tall cup of something warm in the other. To an observer, it might seem she's lost in thought and perhaps not to be bothered. But as she approaches the house on the stone walkway, she pauses to look at the massive building and it brings a smile to her face that gives her a far more approachable demeanor. She makes her way to one of the tables and lowers herself to a comfortable seat, as if to enjoy the cool morning air out here for a while.

Okhotnik has posed:
Okhotnik is not exactly an unknown quantity, but she has been a relatively recent addition to the population at the Mansion. Those who have been here recently have thusly had an emailed warning about the simply huge tiger that can be found wandering the grounds outside, especially the woods. Which is precisely where the twelve foot long, six foot tall (at the shoulder) tigress is coming right now, as she lopes along casually, emerging from the treeline and proceeding towards the Mansion. She doesn't exactly make a lot of noise, but anyone wit even a modicum of situational awareness is unlikely to miss the change in the outdoor sounds as all of the natural creatures about respond to the aura of predator that courses off of her.

The tigress does spot the wandering young woman, one she does not recognize visually or by scent, but she does not slow her already ambling, calm approach. She has been told repeatedly that everyone here is fine with her presence, as long as she doesn't menace anyone who doesn't need to be menaced. She'll just adapt once she is noticed.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is flying. Literally, overhead this morning. Apparently up late last night, the graduated student yawns widely, and seeing the others, starts to lowerhserelf twoard them. Slowly, carefully, just in case this tiger gets startled easily.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty was warned about the tiger on the grounds... but she has Great Big Anime Eyes as she peers at it. She might be *called* Kitty, but that's a great big honkin' kitty! As Megan backwings gently to a landing and the massive cat approaches, Kitty clears her throat and wishes both of them "Good morning." Because... what else are you gonna do?

Okhotnik has posed:
The tigress slows her approach as she closes to a conversational distance of several feet from Kitty, head tilted slightly to the side as she inhales deeply, taking in the other woman's scent and words, evaluating her accent. Then she chuffs and bobs that massive head up and down, acknowledging the other's greeting as best she can. She flicks her ears as Megan lands, a way perhaps of adding you too. Conversational tigger seems to be beyond Okhotnik; besides, who wants to try to converse in growls and snarls and such?

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn takes in the situation as well. Making another big yawn, covering her mouth, she then smiles weakly. "Good morning and pardon me. I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

Shadowcat has posed:
"Nope," Kitty replies, perhaps a still a little wary of the large feline but seeming to relax a little now that it's clear that it's all good. She picks up her cup and sips from it. "I'm sorry -- I don't know all the new folks yet. My name's Kitty -- don't laugh, tiger." She grins at the cat.

Okhotnik has posed:
The tigress at least restrains hereslf from a human-style grin at Kitty's joke, because apparently a ginormous tiger flashing her huge teeth is not reassuring or amusing to humans. Go figure! Instead the tigress flicks her ears at Kitty and takes two very big steps forward, brushing her furred cheek against the woman's hip. Thankfully she has had some experience, now, with doing this, so she isn't pushing so hard that she'd risk knocking Kitty off her feet; but still, it's a rub/push from a huge and clearly very powerful cat.

The tigress turns her head, then, and sniffs at Megan; hers is a scent she has caught, but has not caught scent and seen the person at the same time, so she explores that scent and marks it in her mind for the future. At least when these people are so used to pink-haired girls with fairy wings, she can see why they are a bit less than panicked at ginormous freaking tiger waltzing around.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn throws her arms out from her sides, as the big cat sniffs and studies. "Careful now. If you sniff too deeply of my dust, you might have a different day from the one you planned. I'm Megan." Then smiling to Kitty. "Either of you eaten yet?"

Shadowcat has posed:
The chuffing sound of amusement is enough, and Kitty doesn't flinch from the rub against her. She's grateful for the chair, though -- it means she isn't bowled over or even knocked off balance. She does not take it, however, as invitation for casual contact, either. Looking curiously at Megan, she asks, "You ... have dust? What exactly does it do?" Because she'll want to be careful too sometimes. "And no.. just coffee."

Okhotnik has posed:
The tigress tilts her head, looking over Megan carefully, even intensely. She's done with sniffing, and she didn't have to get too close for the smelling; she can imprint on most folks at a distance of as much as thirty feet, so five or ten is nothing. She too seems to find the idea of 'dust' odd and curious, though it would take someone pretty good to realize the cat is looking Megan over looking for the dust.

When asked, the tigress nods, twice, emphatically to answer the question: has she eaten? Definitely. That was a big part of her reason for transforming in the first place, to go hunting. Or more particularly, she doesn't bother to change and not get something more to eat, given the physical demands on her body when changing back and forth. She's learning.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn sees both the tiger looking curious, and Kitty actually asking the question, so she answers with a demonstration. Taking a few steps back away from them, she rises back into the air, and shakes off some dust, making sure it's visible in the morning light. Then landing again. "It's pixie dust in every sense of the word," she laughs, giving a quick spin before approaching again. "I haven't had breakfast yet, so... if anyone else is hungry to me this is a good time to go get something."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn adds "As for what it does... that varies from person to person. But you'll go for a ride."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's brows shoot up. "Wow... so... random drug trip, basically. Okay. Good to know. I need to stay away from you when I'm not solid." She grins. "That would be bad. Sure, don't let me hold you up from grabbing breakfast, by all means. I was thinking I might wander that way in the not-distant future myself, but I just wanted to enjoy being back. I used to sit out here sometimes in the mornings with whoever was awake."

Okhotnik has posed:
The tigress watches this curiously, and then huffs outward, possibly a defensive action to make sure none of that dust tries to make it to her big schnozz. Then she turns and lifts one massive paw, pushing down on the lever and opening the door, hooking it with her other paw and pulling open the door, stepping back to hold it open for Megan with a little flick of her ears. Yep, she can even be polite.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn laughs a bit. "Well, that pretty much the effect of it." She spins again. "But I'm not... well I'm not covered in the stuff all the time. I make the stuff. So you can't get it accidentally, not really. But yeah, don't try to go through it." Watching the tiger operate, she grins "Thank you very much." She's unsure of whether to leave just yet though.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty smiles at both of them. "You guys get some breakfast. I'll be around, I'm sure we'll meet up again."
