Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Doctor Strange, Pixie, Rogue

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen Strange has been bombarded by several students in the past week. Many of the younger folk have been feeling restless and think their mystic trainning has not been advancing at the pace they initially thought it would. So Stephen has done what he's generally against and he's taken most of the students, split them into pairs for the day and is teaching some one on two's.

"Megan, Anna." Stephen says greeting the two young women as he walks into the room he assigned them both earlier in the day. "I'd like you both to tell me what exactly you've been studying of late and the goals you have set for yourselves regarding those studies."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn flies out to Manhattan. When she got an offer from the good Doctor, the eager, young student took it seriously. Perhaps far more seriously than it was intended to be taken. so she does arrive, and ends up in this situation. "Well, what have I been studying?" She saks with a deep breath. This is new to me so I've just been... mostly seeing what my dust can do. I'm sure there's so much more but..."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue was slouched in her chair with her black hoodie's hood drawn up over her head and her mirroed aviators were on over her eyes. She had dark green gloves on her hands and some blue jeans. She's tapping away on her phone when Strange spoke and then Megan... a few seconds later she looked up and over at both of them in-turn. "Oh, uh... magic stuff?" She asked. "Not... a lot, t'be honest with ya. School's been rough. Ya know, uh, normal school?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange steps deeper into the room as Megan answers first, his arms crossing across his chest as he listens to the woman's dialogue. Then he turns his attention towards Rogue when she chimes in. The doctor wears a simple midnight blue gi, his ankles and wrists wrapped in yellow bandages. The wizard steps between the two girls and uncrosses his arms. Both hands lift up above his head and the room around them begins to crack and shimmer as though they were looking through a piece of ice or crystal.

"I think it's time both of you really see what you can do then." Both of them for different reasons. Megan, to test her limits and see what it is she can do. Marie, to blow off some of the bottled up steam and anger she is harboring inside of her.

Stephen's hands lower and he steps further away, the room fragmenting around them but at the limits of the room only. "I want you both to open up yourselves to the limit."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn looks to Rogue and winks. "Normal school? Ugh. I'm so glad I graduated. For now I have a break." She does try to sit back in a way her wings will allow, getting comfortable since she isn't sure how this will go. ATtention returning quickly to Strange. His instruction make sher blink, surprised. Unsure of exactly how to do that, she sits up. On the edge of her seat, knees together, hands folded. Eyes closing, she hums softly, and starts to, well, try to let it go? The effect is visible at first, as her wings begin to glow brightly, in rainbow colors.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue would grin at Megan and nod her head softly, she admired those wings, but she'd learned a long time ago to not really talk about such things to those who had them. When the magic started though, Rogue's phone's screen flickered and she lost her signal. She sighed. "Figures." She flipped it off and stuffed it into the right pocket on her hoodie and then looked around from behined her reflective sunglasses.

"Isn't that a song from the eighties?" She replied to Strange telling them that they need to push it to the limit.

Rogue would stand up then and look around a bit more curiously. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll neve'ah be able t'do anythin' like this. I can barely get the microwave clock set right. Takes like an hour'a pushin' buttons..."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen takes a step back from Megan, unsure of what the girl can do, but he readies his hand behind his back, in case some defensive spell is required to protect him, or either of the two girls.

"That doubt is what I seek to remove from you first and foremost Anna." Stephen says, and then he addresses Megan once again. "Do realize that everyone is in a different phase of life from yourself. No one is better than anyone else, just different."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn breathes slowly and deeply. The energies build up in her, in a way that Strange can probably feel. Her wings getting brighter, and brighter. Then abruptly, with a flash of rainbow, the teen vanishes. Just, no longer there. To the observant, she will be seen sitting with the exact same posture, only on the sill of a high window above, biting her lip and looking around, surprise on her face.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue watched as Megan vanished and re-appeared up further above. "Ooop... pretty." She said, and then looked to Stephen while pointing a finger up at Megan. "Yeah, she wins. I can't do that. I ain't neve'ah gonna be able t'do that." She grinned a little and shook her head.

Rogue would put her hands into her hoodie pockets then and she nodded her head softly to the Doctor. "I have been workin' on that light spell thing you were showin' me. But as'a right now its... about as bright as my phone screen... Hopin' t'make it get bright enough to blind fools right beofre I punch'em in their noses."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen looks up at Megan and his fingers loosen and return to a sedentary state before he claps a couple of times. "Quite useful and unexpected, but you should be incredibly careful, if you mess up a end up in the wrong spot, either you or someone else could lose their lives." Stephen says solemnly.

Turning towards Rogue and crossing his arms once again. "Well, less tell and more show Anna. You rely too much on the 'others' inside of your and not on yourself." Words that he imagines could either fuel the girl or make her angry and hopefully inspire her to do more on her own.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue would glance at Megan again and then back to the Doctor after he said these things to her. "Yeah well... that kinda happens when they all had more skills in life than I eve'ah did." She muttered quietly8 before looking down at her green gloved hands.

Rogue would hold them together to create a 'shelter' between them and she'd started to quietly say things, her pink painted lips muttering quiet words while the spaces between her hands started to glow brighter, a pure white light.

A second later and rogue pulled her right hand away, loetting the light inside her cupped left shine bright'ish.

Rogue smiled happily. "Like this?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen steps forward and in a test of Rogue's resolve, he snaps his hand out to grab her gloved one to attempt to extenguish her light. "Like that, but brighter!" He says, raising his voice to push her and not the Carol or anyone else within her.

"This is all within you Anna." He tries to squeeze her hand into a fist, wether or not he can is up to her own physical resistances.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue didn't allow it at first, considering her strength was considerable. But after a few seconds she'd relent and her fist could close and the light would go out. She sighed and shook her head. "I've tried." She told him, sounding slightly annoyed. "Its kind've an awesome party trick, ya know? Something I wanna get bette'ah at."

She'd put her hands back together and try to refocus her attention on resummoning the light, but she was struggling now cause of Strange's pressure and judgemental stare and expectations, something Marie didn't do well with.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen is beyond judgemental. He's the teacher that knows you can do better, and even tells you so, causing you to somehow act out and do worse than your best.

Stephen lifts his hand to lay agaisnt her hood on the side of her head. "I know Carol is in there, and I know you're relying on her, but you have to do this on your own. She doesn't know a thing about this world. She can't help you, she will only hold you back in these matters."

He does help her in one way that is so impreceptable that he's certain she wont notice. Stephen slips into her clenched fist a bit of his own magic, to cause her next ball to be luminous two fold over her previous, at least.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue didn't react to the hand on her hooded head, she was too busy just staring down at her hands and chanting the words through mumbling lips. When the light grew brighter than she'd ever done it before though, she quickly smiled and looked up at him and then over at Megan high above.

Rogue was proud of herself, which was kind of rare for the 18 year old to feel. She laughed a little and then uncovered the orb of light in her palm, watching it light up the room even more.

"Carol didn't do that!" She exclaimed happily, completely unaware of any assistance the Doctor may have put into her to let her feel what confidence tasted like.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn takes some time to gather herself after that. She nods quickly to Strange's comment, and laughs nervously. "Goodness. I'm not even sure where that came from." But after a few moments, watching Rogueg etting her training, she'll hop off of the ledge. Not a suicidal act, but rather one that lets her start flying with her wings, and return ot her chair.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I was wondering when you were going to jump down." Stephen says, taking a step back from Rogue, keeping his focus on the spell, allowing her to keep it as bright as a modern LED bulb.

"This room is in another dimension and will always be open for you two, or anyone else to come in and practice your spell casting without worry of hurting yourself or others because I'm sure you know time doesn't always line up for everyone at the same time, so I'm counting on both of your to practice and push yourselves without my constant guidance or supervision."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue looked up at Megan when she hopped off that ledge and went back to her chair, she was still grinning and holding her lite brite ball with a sense of inner self satisfaction. She started to roll around it around in the palm of her gloved hand. "Look, I'm David Bowie, ya'll..." She arrogantly said a moment before she nearly dropped the ball and had to lunge forward a step and use both of her hands to bobble it, then catch it.

Rogue would straighten herself up again and then nervously clear her throat and glance between the two of them after Strange said this was a safe place for them. "Uh, yeah, you betcha, Doc. Oh, hey... does that mean I can like... set fires and such in here?" Was she a pyro?

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn settles in and gives a thumbs up to Rogue, and her accomplishment. "That's great," she nods. She then takes stock of herself, sitting down on the edge of her seat, tightening up a bit, and trying to do what she did before. At least, the wing glowing part. "Thanks Doc, that seems important. Safety."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"More safety for me and my house, but yes. Safety."

Stephen glance back to Megan and Rogue respectively and then blinks at Rogue a few times. "I'm not sure you would be okay, but everything else would be safe from the fire." Stephen says with a peculiar eyeroll before he starts moving towards the door and stops with his hand on the knob. "Do either of you have any questions?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grinned over at Megan and nodded at her. "Thanks." She told her 'classmate' in this rather Strange teaching enviroment.

Rogue's hands came together and she extinguished the light sourca with the method that he'd taught her (that was far easier to do than creating it).

When he asked that question from his position at the door with the knob in his hand. "Uh..." Anna-Marie thought on it for a second, did she have any questions? "Oh!" She said, perking up and raising her right hand. "Does the bathroom work in this safety dimension?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn takes a deep breath. Still seated, in a bit of aclosed posture, she exhales slowly, and looks at Strange. "Questions?" she repeats. "Is there anything I should.... try to do extra? Or should I just try to learn how to control that little trick first? Not sure how good it does me to blink up there when I can fly..." The bathroom question amkes her snicker. "Actually a shower would be handy."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen's hand comes off the door knob and actually claps against his face as he sighs softly at Rogue's question and then Megan's follow up. "You can walk out of the door and make it to the bathroom, can't you?" Stephen asks rhetorically.

"It's better to practice and master one thing than to practice and kind of know how to do several." Stephen responds cryptically towards Megan's question and he hesitates a moment just in case there are more questions.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue would put her hands into the pockets of her hoodie then and she grinned at Megan's follow-up question before she looked back to Stephen. "I'm a bad influence on her, I think. Kinda... used t'bein' that way to othe'ahs in my class. Its why I didn't do so hot in school back in the good ol' days."

Rogue would then reach up to her face and pull her shades off of her eyes, folding their arms together and then slipping them into the hoodie as well. "Don't worry, Doc. I got some time tonight before I'm supposed t'hit the town.... I'll practice on the lightbulb thing."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn just gr ins at the reactions. The longer she has this condition, the more it's become her nature just to... cause a little trouble now and then. She claps her hands together once, giving her wings a flap. "And I will practice the teleport? I guess I should call it? Thank you again doc. Woudlnt' have done it without your help, just like you said you would."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Call it what you will Megan. Remember to focus and to never lose your concentration. That's what could cause a huge mistake that hurts you someone else or worse." Stephen then looks back at Rogue, "Don't do it for me. Do it for yourself. Do it to help others."

Strange opens the door and then starts to slip out into the forever hallway.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue would stand there listening to Strange's words to Megan, smiling at them softly and then when he reguarded her and spoke again with that bit of wisdom, she simply would draw her gloved hands out of her hoodie and give him two big green-gloved thumbs up.

"You got it, dude!" She said to him on his way out of the room. After that, the southern gal would walk over to the chair she'd been in to pull her phone out and put it back in her lap... only cause she was going to turn some music on to listen too while she practiced her magicking. At least until it was time to go to that party she was invited to tonight...
