Star-Lord has posed:
     A few days ago, the Guardians had commed the cruiser letting them know that they were heading to Earth asking if they could, please and thank you, maybe clear the way for them to land on the planet without any SHIELD-y entanglements and oh hey, is Indigo ready to come back? Comms have been spotty since then but now the Milano's coming out of her last jump and sailing towards the cruiser. On the bridge, Peter Quill, the Legendary Star-Lord is at the controls and on the tape deck, "Livin' Thing" by Electric Light Orchestra.

    Tapping the screen Quill opens comms. "Hey guys, it's the Milano here, got a spot for us to land?" Casual as always.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Since Brainy is asleep for a change, Lyle takes the opportunity to slip away to the bridge. While he feels obliged to keep an eye on Querl, he feels just as obliged to his duties to the team and the ship.
    Not that he was paying all that much attention, despite putting himself on duty. He jerks upright when the hail comes in, and his mind flails for a connection with the word 'Milano' even as he activates comms. "Legion cruiser, Invisible Kid here. State your purpose, please, Milano." 'Milano' sounds familiar, but he just can't remember why. Granted, he's had a lot of other things on his mind lately.

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo and her wife, Viridian, stroll onto the bridge from the hydroponics bay when the message comes that the Milano has arrived. The two of them have felt like spending time around plants lately, for possibly obvious reasons. Viridian's gait is pretty steady even without her chassis today, though Max, the flying pink robot in the shape of a dolphin, has been keeping close to Viridian's side just in case. The gynoid and the half-Terran look up quizzically at the voice over the intercom, and Indigo smiles. "Peter!" she cries a greeting for. More volume-appropriate, to Lyle, she explains, "The Milano is our vessel. I didn't really expect them to come so quickly for us." There's probably a sentiment to explore there, but this might not be the best time.

Gothic Lolita has posed:
    Lolita arrives from the shuttle bay having fortuitously just returned from to the ship from a brief trip down to Earth. From her expression, it went...frustratingly. But she smooths her expression out as she enters the hangar where the Milano is coming in to land, smiling as she notes the trio entering. "Fortuitous timing." she says cheerfully as she joins them. "Captain Quill made good time catching up with us."

Star-Lord has posed:
     "Oh come on guys, we sent a comm like three days ago, it's the Milano, the Guardians of the Galaxy, man-" Star-Lord's grousing is cut short by the sound of Indigo's voice and he exclaims. "There's my favorite color!" before adding. "What she said, Legion-guy, we're their ride. Got a docking bay for us or what?" he asks. He veers the ship off it's course while he waits for a reply, putting the bubble of the cockpit facing the Earth, he looks up, waay up and smiles. "Soon," he says to that big blue and white ball, but there's a good chance it carries over the comms too.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    "Your communication has not been forwarded to me, but your identification is accepted via your staff aboard our ship. Transmitting docking codes and trajectory now," Lyle says. Legion training runs deep; one should be official over comms. That doesn't prevent him from adding, "And may I thank you -- not just for the Legion, but personally -- for allowing Indigo to join us." Sounds less official, more like he really means that.

Groot has posed:
     Seems there was an incident out of Knowhere before the group had set off to their destination, a smaller Groot trods up to Peter, looking to Earth, and gasping with an almost childlike wonder. "I am Groot!" He calls out at the sight. KidGroot seems to be more than happy at the sight of Erf.

  The small tree guy simply looks to Peter, smiling wide. "I am Groot?"

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo notices Loli's expression, and her own face is so easily readable it would be hard not to notice the question that forms in her eyes before she decides to stick a pin in it for now. "Loli, welcome back," she greets the other gynoid. "It is good timing, isn't it?"

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Having heard Lyle's call, as well as getting her own signal that another ship was near, Luorno had headed towards where Lyle was with all due haste. And, the other two of her, each of whom was reading up on Earth History by way of 'Modern History' textbooks and more Academia sort of references all fall into place. "Hello," each of them say in turn to Lolita, and Indigo, each of the girls, one dressed in white, one in black, the other in grey, triplicates all, smile in near synch.
    Then, the one in white says, warmly, "I'm sorry we haven't met, yet. I've been busy working on a few things. I'm Triplicate Girl. You're leaving already?"

Star-Lord has posed:
    "Right?" Quill says to Groot while the two of them look up at the Earth before he checks the panel and confirms over comms. "Got the course and bay, Legion-guy, and you're welcome." Yeah, as one might suspect Ravager training is a little lighter on the formalities. "We'll see you in the docking bay." He looks down at Groot. "What? No way, I'm not letting you fly you'll wreck up the fancy future ship-" Quill cuts the comms, leans over and scoops up Kid Groot and puts him on his shoulder. "Maybe on the way back."

Groot has posed:
     The small tree kid gives a bit of a dissapointed sigh as he is lifted to Peter's shoulder. But promptly perks up once Peter says possibly to his idea. "I am Grooooot!" He calls out, again happy. He idly swings his legs gently as they make their approach towards the Legion cruiser. "I am Groot?" Whispered into Peter's ear.

Gothic Lolita has posed:
    Lolita smiles a bit at Indigo. "Very." she says, as she watches the ship land, clasping her hands in front of her as she considers. She's got a new outfit again, probably something she paused to pick up while on Earth. She cocks her head as Peter comes down, waving cheerfully to him...then stopping as the tiny Groot comes scampering down after him, her lube eyes going wide.

    Because she's closer, Indigo is probably the one that most hears it as the younger gynoid audibly bites down on a squee as the part of her processor that governs her reaction to 'cute' promptly goes to max as she gets an utterly fascinated look at Groot. "Oh, what happened?!?" There's a pause, before she can't hold it in. "He's ADORABLE!" Okay, there's that squee. Just a bit.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    "We'll meet you in the docking bay. Invisible Kid out." Lyle closes comms from his end, and heads to meet the visitors. "Lu! Great, I deputize you to help me with meeting our visitors. You can keep me from saying anything crazy." He grins broadly, and jogs to the meeting.

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo smiles at Triplicate Girl, but shyly; she doesn't even come close to making eye contact, just hitting about lip-level with her gaze. "Hi," she greets, her voice underlaid with an electronic hum. "I'm Indigo. And... I'm leaving, anyway. It's best I don't spend much time around Terra. But if Viridian or Loli have business here, I totally understand." She squeezes Viridian's waist for emphasis, and decides not to waste time repeating Loli's question, instead asking Luorno, "Um... I should make small talk, but I think I'm about to leave soon... still, though. How long have you been a Legionnaire?"

Gothic Lolita has posed:
    Lolita is slightly distracted from little Groot by Luornu's appearance...it's not every day you meet a triplicate girl. She doesn't shy away from meeting their eyes, flicking between them curiously, before settling on the girl speaking. "Well, I think my business is concluded for the day...though I would not object to visiting again if needed." She smiles at her, letting Indigo ask the questions for a moment.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "Oh, I've been a member pretty much since the begining," says the girl in black, "While I wasn't a founding member, I was the fourth member to join. The first non-founder." She smiles at Indigo, "But, really, you're welcome to spend as much time here as you'd like. It's not like we're going anywhere," she ventures.
    The girl in grey looks at KidGroot, and she grins, stepping up behind Loli, admitting, "He really is. Hi, Groot!" Apparently, she thinks the KidGroot is normal Groot.
    The girl in white lays a hand on Lyle's shoulder, "You got it." She smiles, sharply at him, fondly, then looks to the others. "You haven't even met everyone yet," she points out to Lolita.

Star-Lord has posed:
    Quill lets a slow smile cross his lips at Groot's whisper, he shoulder checks for Gamora before he answers, "Yeah, I thought about jacking the thing too but no way, the Legion are our friends. Well, friends of friends in our case" he looks up at the Cruiser as the Milano passes under her hull on the way to the docking bay. "Heck of a ship though."

    Quill brings the Milano down expertly in the Cruiser's bay and a short time later he and Groot are stepping down the ramp. Pete's in his usual garb, red leather jacket, element guns at his hips and a big smile on his face as he's reunited with the crew. He takes in the Legionaires as well, Invisible Kid and Triplicate Girl. "Wow, triplets," he says before he can stop himself. "I mean, hi, I'm Star-Lord," he says to the Legionaires, before waving to his own people. "Groot'll tell you all about it," he says to Loli, letting Groot down off his shoulder.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle bows slightly by way of greeting. "Invisible Kid," he says, and indicates Lu, "and Triplicate Girl. Nice to meet you, and again, my thanks for the loan of your teammate." If he's at all foxed by a self-mobile bonsai tree, he doesn't show it. After all, one of his best friends *is* a polymorph. He's seen weirder things over breakfast.

Groot has posed:
Groot looks to the gynoid, giving a wave. "I am Groot." He mimes drinking from a glass. "I am Groot." Then miming guns. "I am -Groot-." Giving an angered face and making a couple of shooting sounds. "I am Groot!" waving all around him before continuing with a sad response. "I am Groot." He also waves hello to Luornu!

  Continuing the conversation with Peter, Groot only shrugs, hopping off and looking up at the others. "I am Groot!"

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo covers her mouth with her hand to hide a smile at Quill's last line there--funny is funny--and Viridian nudges her hip playfully. Indigo gets herself under control and detaches from her wife to walk over to Groot and squat before him gravely, a hand extended to shake. "Hello, Groot. I'm Indigo. Do you remember me?"

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "And, I'm Triplicate Girl," says Lu in black to Groot, and then the one in white continues, "And I am Triplicate Girl, and, over there," she points at the self-same girl in grey, "Is Triplicate Girl." She grins, warmly.
    Then, the Luorno in black looks over to Star-Lord, and she approaches him, "No, we're not triplets. We're triplicates," she corrects. "We are the same person. It would not be incorrect to say I am a gestalt being," she ventures, warmly.
    "Is Indigo correct, are you leaving Earth quite soon?"

Gothic Lolita has posed:
    Lolita is again distracted as little Groot comes closer, but Indigo gets to him first..and Lu is speaking to her, so it would be rude to just walk over and snuggle the little tree guy omg she so wants to anyway and has to fight down several rogue processes in her mental engram for a moment. Ahem. "That's true, yes. I'm sorry if I have been rude." she responds apologetically to Luornu, then quiets as she moves to speak with Peter.

Star-Lord has posed:
    Quill is a bit thrown by Lyle's bow but bows back awkwardly. "Cool, Invisible Kid. So gonna guess the Invisible part isn't twenty-four seven since I can see you, or is more metaphorical?" he asks smiling as he extends a hand to the guy.

     Shaken or not, the hand is also extended to the Luornu in black. "Wow," he says taking in each of the Luorna's in turn. "That's got to get complicated. So do you guys do everything together?" he asks before he takes a moment to consider Luorna's question.

    "Well, that depends on what the crew wants I guess, also, we've come on a bit of a mission, you guys ever here of a guy named Darkseid?" Yep, late to the party as always.

Groot has posed:
     Groot reaches out a small branch to Indigo. "I am Groot!" He says, nodding and shaking. He keeps looking up at the group, smiling.

  Where the others were continuing conversing, Groot starts to look around, seems like the smaller version of the tree man is just as easily distracted as a kid would be. "I am Groot..." Especially if there was 'trouble' to get into.

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo smiles at Groot. "I'm glad. I was worried you weren't the Groot I remember. You'll have to tell me soon what happened, dear." She runs her hand over the leaves on Groot's crown in a reasonable imitation of ruffling a child's hair, and stands back up to turn her attention to the discussion at hand.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle flicks out of view, then back in. "No, just when I want," he explains, returning a smile of his own.
    His expression becomes more serious at mention of Darkseid. "I've heard of him, and the mess planetside. Regrettably, we were dealing with a major crisis of our own and were unable to provide much assistance. The intelligence I've received is that Darkseid himself is no longer a presence down there, but I haven't had a chance to follow up on that myself." He shrugs. "Sorry."

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "We had an -- incident -- here, which could have adversely affected several timelines," agrees the Luornu in black. And then, she considers, "Well, yes. We do everything together, Star-Lord. Because we are the same. Allow us to demonstrate?"
    And then, the Luornu in grey gives Lolita a small wave, and walks to the Lu in white, and the Lu in black similarily does thus, and then they all converge together ... into one Luornu.
    She smiles, tipping her head to Peter. "In this time, however, the planet I come from has not been populated yet, and the metagene has not been activated. But, yes. Invisible Kid speaks correctly. Earth was injured, particularly a city called Metropolis. But, the effort of Earth's heroes withstood Darkseid's incursion effectively."

Star-Lord has posed:
    Quill smiles cheerfully at Kid's power demonstration. "Guess, that makes slipping out at dawn a lot easier, huh?" he says with a knowing grin and a nudge for the Legionaire. "Wait, Darkseid's not on Earth?" that takes some processing and he stands there dumb watching as Luorna puts herself back together. "Wow, that's a lot to wrap my head around," he says, whether he means Luorna's triplicate thing, the issue with timelines or Darkseid it's anyone's guess; at least until he opens his mouth again: "So, he's gone and Earth's okay?" A pause and a look over to Groot. "And hey, Groot come over here," he says. Couldn't leave the kid on his own on a ship like this. The Guardians didn't have near enough units to cover the damages.

Groot has posed:
Groot perks up at the story of Darkseid's demise. "I am GROOT?!" After all that Rocket had mentioned about all those units, the vault they were planning to get for all of them. Thought the anger soon subsides to a small sniffle. Sad Groot is Sad.

  Soon enough, he keeps looking about, parking next to Indigo's leg, wiping a small tear for all those lost units from his little face. The small tree stomps over to Peter, crossing his arms and sulking, while sniffling.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle chuckles at Peter. "Who needs to slip out at dawn? Heh, besides, we're in orbit, dawn is about every two, three hours or so."
    He nods once. "That's the latest I've heard, that Darkseid's been handled, or retreated, or something, but I haven't had the time to confirm. Again, I've been kind of..." He glances at Indigo, then towards the way to medical. "...busy the last few days. We've had a teammate badly injured. In fact, if it wasn't for Indigo, he'd probably still be comatose."

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "We all have." Luornu clasps Lyle's arm again, supportively, and smiles over to Indigo, warmly. "I'm going to go make sure that there's some food for our guests. I'll let you know when it's ready. Indigo, Lolida, Groot, Star-Lord, it's very, very nice to meet you all. And, thank you." Because Brainy is important to her, too.
    She gives a wave, and then she heads off down further into the Cruiser, to go do just that.
