Cast of Characters: Lazarlite, Pixie, Miss Martian, Cyclops

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle has finally achieved one of his goals, enrolling at a school for the teaching of superhumans. It took a fairly short time to clear the paperwork, Canada has good relations with the US. This time, he actually took a plane to New York and a cab to the grounds. He is wearing makup and glasses to minimize his visible differences. So the cab left him with his luggage (the luggage is why he took this way to get here) at the gate. He presses the intercom button and waits.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn has finally achieved one of her goals, getting up before 2pm, and having a good lunch. A delicious sandwich. She's flying outdoors, above the lawn, finishing off thas sandwich. The staff would let him in the gate, knowing who he is, but then Megan is the welcoming committee as it were. SEeing the blue young man, with luggage, she smiles "Welcome. I'm Megan."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle says, "Lytle Force." Lytle takes off his glasses, showing his large, lidless, black eyes that are seemingly all pupil. He says, "I would join you up there...but I can not do it with the luggage. Most of the time, I am not very good at flying."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn grins, as the boy takes off his glasses, and hovers in lower closer to him. Notcing his eyes, she nods. "Well don't worry too much about it. Most folks around here walk, so you're welcome to take your time. Did you need any help getting your stuff in?" She looks over his luggage, sizing it up. "Hopefully you're looking forward to school here, at least, I assume that's why you're here."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle says, "If you like, I have more suitcases than hands, but they are stackable and on rollers, so I can manage." He adds to the second question, "I am, though most of my family does not approve...only cousin Donna understands really." Donna Carol Force, AKA Sparx, is the only member of the family before to publicly go hero.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn grins and nods. "Roll away then." She does buzz in behind him to put a hand on the top of the stack, to help ensure othing falls over as he's wheeling outside. "So you do have a relative who understands... none of my family did, which is somewhat why these people are my family now, too."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle considers, "I am not sure you understand correctly...EVERYONE in my family has powers...sooner or later. The family tradition is to keep them hidden and use the to help behind the scenes. What they do not understand is wanting to help publicly."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn goes wide-eyed. "Oh wow. I know there are families like that... I can't imagine it though." She keeps on helping him wheel the stuff along. "And your goal is to join the X Men?"

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle says, "Well, some super team. The X-men would be a good choice, but not the only one. I figure I can be usful to most any team I might be on, if I am properly trained."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn grins. "Oh I see. So you're... really here with a mission, Lytle." She folds her arms and considers a moment, flying along side him yet. "They do get touchy about students being at risk. You have powers?"

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle nods, "Yes, I have powers. Three in fact. Two are pretty weak, but one is way powerful...at least potentially. First, as I mentioned, I can fly...not really well but I can do it. Second, this one is not really strong but is pretty versatile, I have Laser vision. Finally I can absorb energy...as far as I can tell, I have no limit to how much I can absorb, and I can redirect the absorbed energy into my metabolism."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks. "Oh goodness. Yes, some team might have use for that. But you'd better do your real school work too. You never know what'll matter!"

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle nods, "Yeah, I have been staying in school, I have only been able to come to the US on the weekend until I found a school here that can teach me." He gestures at the mansion. He adds, "There are certain limits on my absorption...regarding how it absorbs not how much. So I do need training to handle those things I can not absorb."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is flying along beside Lytle. He's wheeling a pile of luggage in, on foot. She's got a hand on top of the pile, to help steady it. "You're so brave and determined." she says with admiration. "You sure your parents aren't proud of that yet?"

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle says, "Well, they may admire that possibly, but they think I am in idiot." It is not the way a member of the Force family is supposed to act.

Miss Martian has posed:
M'gann approaches the school, waiting...okay, not-so-patiently as the gates slide open. Getting contacted was nerve-wracking...but a lot less nerve-wracking than the concept of the purely-mundane experience of changing schools. At the moment, she's in her most common shapeshifted form, which is to say caucasian rather than green. Long red hair, and clothes appropriate to New York in October; a skirt over tights, a scoop-necked tee, and this monstrosity that's either a really big purse or a really small book satchel slung across her body and bumping along on her left hip as she walks.

She starts up the path towards the school proper, cellphone in hand, as she reviews the message, trying to make sure she doesn't get anything wrong. Of course, said path is going to end up taking her near the others, and when the presence of others tickles her brain, she looks up...and then stares like an idiot at the two teens there.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn looks up abruptly from the conversation when there's another arrival. "Excuse me..." she says to Lytle. Starting to fly over to M'gann. "Hello! Are you ... okay?" she says with a wave to M'gann. "I'm Megan," which probably won't help.

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle has very odd vision, but it is also wide angle, so he notes the redheaded girl coming up the path with a single moderately sized bag. He Notices her startked reaction and says, "Megan, I think you have another newby to escort." He is a bit late though, as Megan already flew back to meet the redhead.

Miss Martian has posed:
M'gann is still gaping a bit as Megan flies over, and finally the brain catches up, and her expression changes to a big, beaming grin. "You have wings!" She says, as she looks to Megan, and wins the prize for Obvious Statement Is Obvious. A moment later, as her gaze flicks over to Lytle, she adds "And you're blue!" Beat. "This. Place. Is. Awesome."

Cyclops has posed:
Scott, of course, had been the one to message M'gann. At the behest of the school's founder. He walks calmly and yet purposefully towards the others. As he has done plenty of times before, this time of course, not accompanied by a wheelchair bound gentleman.

Scott looks to the group and puts on a bit of a smile, just slightly. "Hello everyone." He looks to Megan, with a sense of nostalgia, Lytle and M'gann of course, a look of slight intrigue. His ruby lenses glean in the setting sun. "I'm Scott Summers, welcome to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters." AKA Mutant (and meta) High.

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle leaves his bags and heads back, "Hi, I am Lytle...and yes I am blue and have no eyelids, he turns when Scott speaks, "Hello Scott, I am Lytle. This young lady has not introduced herself yet."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn clears out of the way on the path, which she was hovering over, to make room for the head honcho coming out. She's not going to do any further greetings when he's here. Going off to the side, deferring to Summers. "I do have wings. I'm lucky to have them."

Miss Martian has posed:
M'gann beams. "They're awesome." She looks at the flying girl with a broad smile, and then over to Lytle, seeming to be just as approving of his own special look. And then words finally sink in. "Ugh! /Hello/ Megan!" She smacks herself along the side of the head. "I'm Megan Morse. It's really nice to meet both of you!"

And then, of course, there's Scott. "/All/ of you!" she corrects herself. Wait, that's the name of the guy from the email. "Oh! Yes, thank you for the invitation!"

Cyclops has posed:
"Hello Lytle. You're not the only blue one here." He says with a slight chuckle. Scott wasn't a man without humor, it was just something that didn't show all the time.

"Pixie here is one of our graduates." He offers, continuing to M'gann. "I trust that your travel here to Westchester was pleasant."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle says, "Well, that is something of a relief. Even in MY family, I look a bit on the odd side." Which is saying something, considering his family. Not the oddest member of his family though...

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn stretches a bit, and smiles. "Well you guys. I'm glad you're both here at the school. Lytle and Megan. Another Megan." She grins and buzzes a little higher. I'm sure the boss man here will help you with getting settled. I kind of need to rest a bit. I've had abusy day."

Miss Martian has posed:
M'gann nods. "Oh, yes! It was just a short flight, no problem at all!!" She's clearly excited about the prospect. "Do I need to fill out paperwork? Is there a test?" Someone is eager to get started, now that she's seen there are other unusual sorts.

Cyclops has posed:
"We accept all kinds here at Xavier's. You'll find that we are accepting of all students here, wether they are blue, have wings, or..." He taps his glasses. "Let's just say visually impaired, for now."

Scott looks around the grounds. "No one judges here at Xavier's, and we expect the same from our students."

"Nothing so far, Megan, but there will be some of that soon. First, we want you to get aquainted with the school."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle taps the side of his head, turning his black lidless eyes to face Scott, "I kind of know that feeling, it took me weeks to learn to see right after these changed, and even now my vision seems wierd sometimes." His Laser vision is very differet than normal human vision...and that is just counting the sight aspect.

Miss Martian has posed:
M'gann beams. "Gosh, no! I think it's awesome! I mean, it's gonna be SO nice not to have to run around and pretend all the time. I'm not the best at remembering to fake all kinds of details. I'm kind of a bad liar, all told."

Cyclops has posed:
"Indeed, many mutants cannot hide their appearance, so we feel that this place, these grounds are a safe palce to be who they are, and that same courtesy extends to everyone." Scott starts moving up to the main building, the crunch of gravel under his boots. "It's almost time for dinner if you both are hungry."

Lazarlite has posed:
Lytle gestures at his bags, "Let me drop these off first...there was food on the plane, but it was not the best."
