Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Warpath, Radiance, Emma Frost, Kaydin LeGraize, Hellion

Warpath has posed:
Fall is approaching, and the last few nice days are slowly being spent. Today, at least, is one of them. The breeze is warm. The sky is clear. The door to the backyard opens, and a tired-looking James Proudstar shuffles out into the backyard. With casual ease, he settles the items 'Grace' requested over next to her on the patio furniture. He settles into one of the large adirondack chairs and pushes his hand through his loose black hair. The wind teases it. He purses his lips and blows on his coffee. "Don't judge." He tells Grace. There might be a lot of whiskey in that coffee. His brown eyes flick over to regard her. "Are you okay? Not the obvious, but the other stuff?" He isn't okay. At some point they'll have to talk about all that happened. He blows over his coffee again. "I'll keep 'til you are."

Radiance has posed:
Hermione called Kaydin, all excited. Apparently, today she can fly and she has finally pieced together enough clues to figure out what does it. She asked if he wanted to go for a fly, combining her flight with his speed. And since he was the one to suggest the school he goes to as a good place for her to figure out her powers, that is where they fly to, though the route may be a bit of a scenic one. When she lands in the backyard and puts Kaydin down, her cheeks are rosy from the wind and her smile is so wide her face might split in two. "Tell me that isn't the most awesome thing *ever*!"

Emma Frost has posed:
A diamond arm and hand reaches up to the tablet held out by James and she pulls it closer to herself as she watches James sit. "Thanks James." She says with a soft sigh before turning her attention back over to the tablet and sighs gently. She's wearing a pink tank top and a pair of black short shorts, the diamond skin/form exposed to the sun and elements. She misses feeling the breeze against her skin and the heat of the sun's rays. "I'm out of the room aren't I?" Emma says, motioning with her free hand to herself. "I am making strides in my emotional recovery, so there's that, but I think my return to the tower is still a ways off though."

Emma looks out towards the girl landing on the back lawn, her clear eyes lingering on the unknown girl for a while before she shrugs away from saying anything and looking her attention towards her tablet.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin combined his speed with her flying and after a while of being held in the air he nods. "Yeah it's pretty great. You wont need cables to hold you up when you are in a high place." He says as he smiles before waving to Emma.

Warpath has posed:
"She's new." James notes. "Smells like... the mall." He wrinkles his nose. "They are worse about strays than you are." James eases forwards a little. Emma knows he just went back on duty. His body moving to a state of watchful awareness as an unknown powered individual is near. "I miss your touch in my head." he admits quietly, just between them both. "Easier to communicate." He takes another long drink from his coffee, before adding, "But my Christmas bonus better be effing huge." H stands up and drains the big mug of just enough coffee to make the whiskey smell like coffee. He nods to Kaydin as he puts the mug down.

Radiance has posed:
All smiles, Hermione hugs herself. "And now that I know, well, I think I know, what causes it, I can do it any time I like! I can be a real superhero! Like Superman and Captain America!" The Nebraska girl is just bursting with happiness, making her seem younger then she really is. She bounces and is up in the air again, piroetting slowly back down to the ground.

As James stands up, Hermione notices him and her smile disappears. She nervously steps behind Kaydin, eyes darting over at the two that saw her performance. "I'm not in trouble, am I? Should I havegone to the front door? Is that man going to ... I don't know... he looks angry. Did I do something wrong?"

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"His name is James. He works for Miss Emma frost. Probably delivering papers to grace from emma. He is always angry looking." Kaydin says to the woman as she hides behind him. He gives a nod back and looks to Emma. "Hey grace, how are you doing?" He asks as he begins to make his way over to them. "I brought a friend of mine to help her with her powers."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma lifts a hand up towards the new arrivals in response to Kaydin's wave, before she sighs and speaks back towards James. "I would like a simple trip to the mall." It wasn't something she did much when she wasn't a walking talking diamond, but it was always an activity she was /able/ to do. Now she doesn't feel comfortable leaving the front door of Xavier's... in fact she hasn't gone out the front door since arriving.

"I miss it too." She says, sounding dejected and as if she lost an arm, but is trying to be strong about it.

If she was still telepathic she would have fun with James, telling him to scare the girl just a little, but she can't, and so the diamond woman blinks in the direction of the new arrivals. "How are you two doing today?" Emma asks before lifting a clear eyebrow, "Help her with her powers? She seems to have then down well enough to dance in the air."

Warpath has posed:
"I can't fly." James agrees quietly. "Always wanted to. Not the way it works out. Probably for the best. I could have really made a mess of this place during our prank wars growing up." He sighs and looks at his empty mug. He could use another of those. He surpresses a soft yawn. "I don't bite." he tells the girl. Well, lies to her. He does bite. His hand slides through his hair and he starts to pull it back into a short ponytail. I'll take you. You can go wherever you want. I will protect you."

Radiance has posed:
As Kaydin peppers off a bunch of names, Hermione simply nods. She has no idea who this Emma Frost person is, but the way Kaydin talks about her makes her sound important. Perhaps she's someone big in the mutant world, a world she is now a part of. She makes a mental note to look up the name later.

She lifts a hand to the two, waggling her fingers in greeting. "Well, it's just that my powers kinda only work sometimes. This is only like the third time I've flown. Normally, I just float a bit."

She offers a shy smile to Grace, still wary of the big man that is with her. "You can always come to the mall I work at sometime. I get a discount there, because I work there. So, you know... saving money is always good." She swallows hard and looks about the backyard, feeling awkward and wishing she could make herself smaller somehow.

Warpath has posed:
"Well, let's figure out why?" James says to the girl. "explain it. There is always an internal, if inobvious logic. Unless there is a weird secondary mutation, or an outside influence that altered the the mutation. Even then, there is a certain logic." He has some experience at this. He tilts a smile, it is a weird gesture here. "Maybe we can borrow Miss Grey." It's like he enjoys this stuff or something.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin looks to the various people and gestures. "This is Jean." He gestures to hermione and he nods. "I got a job as courier in town. Faster then the bicyclers." He says as he smirks.

Emma Frost has posed:
"It's not about being threatened James." Emma says with an exaggerated sigh as she looks up to James, but then she lays back against her lounge chair, lifting her tablet before her face to indicate she's done with that conversation.

"I don't expect a discount." Emma says towards Hermione and lowers her tablet once again to resume a conversation.

"But I wont turn it down if you're offering it to a complete stranger." Emma winks playfully.

Radiance has posed:
When the tall man asks her to explain her power, Hermione starts to blush. She looks away shyly and shrugs her shoulders. "It's kind of awkward. And it sounds really stupid. It's just.... I think touching people or maybe having them touch me." As she explains, her voice gets smaller and smaller, barely a muttered mumble at the end.

She lifts her shoulders up, looking to Grace. "Well, Kaydin and Breath are the only things close I have to friends in this town, so if a discount makes me more friends..."

Warpath has posed:
"Does it hurt?" James holds out his hand to the younger woman. He looks over at 'Grace' and sticks his tongue out at her. Almost playfully. He should start his day off with coffee more often. He still holds his hand out. "What does it unlock? Just flight? What else can can you do?" He can hear her regardless of how quiet she speaks. He shakes the hand as if to get her to touch it. "Even if it hurts." he adds, almost playfully. "I am a big guy. I can take it." He pops his back casually as he holds his hand out for her touch.

Radiance has posed:
If Emma wanted James to make the new girl uncomfortable, then she is getting her wish. As the large man looms over her, holding out his hand and shaking it at her, Hermione's body language seems to try and make the already petite young woman even smaller. Hermione shakes her head, not making eye contact with the man before her, looking to Kaydin occasionally with eyes wide. "It doesn't hurt... it just... I ... " Her shoulders rise and fall.

"I'm always able to float a little and I'm kinda strong and a little tougher, I guess. Just, sometimes, after I've been cuddling someone, or dancing in a crowd like last night, I... I can do more of it." She notices that James is *still* holding out his hand for her to touch. She tentatively reaches out and takes his hand in hers. "See? No pain. No... I might be wrong, but it's the only thing the times I flew had in common."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin watches the big man approach hermione and remains off to the side to let the two of them talk. He then makes his way over to Grace and reaches into his backpack to pull out some chocolate to offer to her. "You can eat while in diamondshape can you?" He asks curiously.

Hellion has posed:
A small figure in the sky gets closer and closer to the mansion. Luckily the group's security system doesn't make any big deal over it in the daytime.

The hovering boy makes landfall in the backyard, only to raise up a few inches and hovering over to the group, taking in the views of the grounds. He looks a bit unimpressed, but soon he looks to James. "I don't see what's so great about it."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma sticks her tongue back out at James before lowering her tablet and standing up. Her glittering legs and arms sparking and refracting light into rainbows behind and below her as she moves towards the group of fellow mutants and Kaydin.

"So, there's no real negative to your abilities?" Emma asks Hermione softly, her hands moving to rest against her waist as she looks down at the younger woman. Then her gaze shifts over to Kaydin, "I still have to eat and drink and everything a normal person does yes..." Though as soon as she says it she wishes she didn't, but her years of acting like she can't hear peoples thoughts have given her the ability to improv fairly well enough to make her regret. Emma spots Hellion landing and she blinks at the young boy before turning her attention to James. "You told him too?"

Warpath has posed:
HIs fingers curl around hermione's hand. "No pain." he agrees. He notes. "I will not cuddle with you though. A little early for that." He deadpans quietly. His smile is soft. "Relax."
"Julian." James greets the Hellion warmly.
"Yes. Grace. I keep my protégé informed of everything that impacts the school he attends." James says simply. "He is a responsible young man, and he is going to take over for me after I am gone if he wants the job, so yes." James actually bosses Grace about a bit. He regards her. "I do as I please without instructions to the contrary from Emma Frost, Grace. That is what she pays me for." He winks at Julian.
He had to let the kid in on this. It's too much fun otherwise. Oh, it's sad she is upset and hurt and all that. But a chance to get a few licks in? Kids needs them.

Radiance has posed:
Hermione's eyes go wide as she looks to 'Grace', slipping her hand out of James'. "No negative? You heard the part about how I need to ... you know... be all... you know, touchy, right? How do you work that into a conversation? Hey! Wanna come and cuddle me at my place for a few hours so I can bench press a tractor and fly to Metropolis tomorrow? Won't most guys... think I'm... you know... one of *those* sort of girls?"

SHe's about to say more when James tells the brunette that it's too early for cuddling. If her eyes could get any bigger or her cheeks any redder, they would. But they can't. She looks down to study her Keds. "Ummm... yeah. Waaaaay too early for that." Again she looks up to Kaydin, eyes like a rabbit. Another stranger joins the others and Hermione is getting fewer places to hide, feeling surrounded and put on display.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin blurs out and appears with a couple of sodas which he offers one o Hermione. "Hey dont worry. These people are good people. Dont need to worry about them." He says as he watches the girl beginning to freak out and tries to soothe and calm her down.

Warpath has posed:
"Boys like girls like that." James says with a little laugh. "Trust me on that." He has a certain confidence of that. His chuckle is soft. "Alright. So super strength, durability. Flight. Anything else? More skin charge you faster? Duration? Instant? If you do not harm anyone, why haven't you experimented a little with hit? Can you draw power from Grace? She is living diamond." He indicates Hermione to Grace. "Can you draw from multiple people at once?" He gives her a look. "Mutation can be a curse. I will not lie about that. It can also be liberating."

Hellion has posed:
Julian looks quite indifferent to not having his question answered, if not just a bit angered.

Julian rises up a little higher, moving over to Grace. "Miss Grace." He says, looking to the lady and giving a small bow. He maintains a good cover, if only just a bit astonished at her current form.

Radiance has posed:
Taking the offered soda, Hermione smiles to Kaydin. The one person in the group she seems comfortable with, she lifts her shoulders in a shrug. "I always get nervous around new people at the best of time. And this place, this city, is filled with nothing but new people. I'm not so shy once I get to know a person. Really!" She tries to brighten up. "I mean, I got used to you, right?"

Hermione looks up at James, wondering why the big guy is picking on her. She frowns, pulling her sweather around her in a defensive manner and crossing an arm over her chest. "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know that either. Or that. I... I just said I've bench pressed a tractor, so clearly I've experimented a little. And I mostly don't cause I'm not always that strong and stuff. Usually, the best I can do is one hand a keg. Makes me popular a parties." She looks to Grace and tries to smile to the other woman. "You look very pretty, by the way. I like the way you sparkle and make little rainbows all around you." James's constant questions seems to bring Hermione out of her shell as she takes a deep breath and scowls at him. "I said I don't know! I'm still new to all of this, thank you very much. I came here to *get* answers because I don't have any!" Seems she might have some spirit in her after all.

Warpath has posed:
"Guess you better grab onto someone else's hand then." James counters, almost gamely. His smile crops back up. "Roll up your sleeve? That is a safe way to add more contact." He looks over at Julian. "Psychosomatic, or actual requirement, you think?" he treats the student like an equal as he moves to sit down.He adds, "Yes. She is shiny. Don't you think so, Julian?" He is really trying to be sociable. It's almost weird.

Emma Frost has posed:
"Fine. James." Emma says, her voice slightly annoyed at the man who's telling her what to do now while the tables have turned. "I'll be sure to tell Emma what you said." Emma says with a subtle wink to James.

"Um... Julian, right?" She asks before looking from the black haired boy towards Hermione and clicking or clacking her tongue, "I don't worry what people think about me. I'm my own person and not on this earth for anyone else." Emma says, trying to give Hermione advice for life and to not dwell on unimportant things.

Radiance has posed:
A look of guilt washes over Hermione's features as James walks away, worried she's offended him by raising her voice at him. "I'm sorry," she offers with an apologetic smile. "I'm just a little frazzled. I just want to figure out what I can do so I can maybe someday be on a bedroom poster like Captain America, yanno?" She shuts her eyes and groans softly, realizing how stupid that sounded outloud. She looks down at her hands and over to James again and then quickly looks away. She takes his advice and tries to roll up her sleeves. "I ... I just wore a t-shirt last night. At the club. Well, not *just* a t-shirt. THat would be ... really! a lot of skin. But... you get the idea."

Her dark eyes look to Grace, taking in the beauty of her living diamond form. A smile blooms at the corners of her lips. Respect, perhaps a touch of envy. "I wish I had your confidence."

Warpath has posed:
He sticks his hand back out, rolling up his own shirt sleeve. "This is your hang up." james says. "ask Grace. My natural state is shirtless. I don't feel temperature extremes like most people. It gets cold at night in the desert." He makes as if he will take off his shirt, but doesn't. He looks over at Grace. "See what happens when I am nice? No one believes me." He states it quietly. "I am going to go back to scowling." He keeps his hand out for Hermione throughout.
"It's a strange goal. To end up on a poster." he doesn't put the idea down. He's actually thinking it over. "It can be hard for a known mutant to end up that sort of icon, but not impossible. Don't be sorry for speaking your mind. I'm a stranger asking you a billion questions. Get mad. Get upset. It is natural."

Hellion has posed:
Julian looks to James, answering his question. "I wouldn't know. I don't have any hang-ups."

"With diamonds, that's called 'fire'. It's a sign of brilliance and of high quality." Julian knows a fair bit about diamonds, it seems. "I doubt anyone would be on a poster. The way we are treated...it's bullshit."

Radiance has posed:
Well, that was to be expected. When James talks about being shirtless, her eyes briefly glance to him and then look away quickly, her cheeks flushing again. She clenches her lips together, nodding as the new guy, Julian talks about fire. "Well, Grace's fire is very pretty," she says. She brushes a bit of hair over an ear and laughs as Julian talks about the likelihood of her getting on a poster. "Yeah, silly right? Aliens and gods and rich guys in power armor is all good, but a girl that might be a mutant?" She looks to the outstretched hand, biting her lip. Slowly, tentatively, Hermione makes her way closer to James and takes his hand. After all, if touch does fuel her powers, shouldn't she touch as much as she can?

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma looks at Hermione with a more casual eye and with her hands still on her waist and then retorts. "Oh, you'll be on walls, but not like Captain America. Maybe more like Ms. Marvel. Both boys and girls will have you on their walls for many different kinds of reasons." The White Queen says with a positive smile before turning back to James with her eyes rolling. "He'd walk around naked if he could, but we had to train him how to wear pants."

"Thank you Julian, I have a wonderful fire to me, so at least there's that." Emma says, stepping up and offering her own hand to the girl, to see if she'll take it." Grace turns her head towards Kaydin and smiles at the boy, before stating. "I'm curious if she gets different effects from different people."

Warpath has posed:
The nod James gives julian is wholly approving. "Damn straight you don't."He does clear his throat though, and wipe at his nose as if to suggest Julian has something on it. "Fire? Brilliance? Really?" He shakes his head.
"The folks at this school think that they can change that by acting like heroes and undoing everything MAgneto and Mystique, and all those others do." James regards Hermione and smiles as she takes his hand. "You do what you want to do. Power is not bad. It is not good. What you do with it is what matters. Just always remember. it is your power. Your life. The only people who you are beholden to, are the people you owe. I owe Emma Frost, the head of the School of Tomorrow a lot. So I do a lot for her. You owe no one anything. Not yet. Be careful who you trust. Remember. No one is completely altruistic." He beams at Grace. She's teasing him again. It's a step. "I am too." He agrees with 'Grace'.

Radiance has posed:
Emma's gaze and then the talk of being up on walls for a whole other reason has Hermione gathering up her sweater and holding it over her chest. "You have x-ray vision too?" As if the thought of James shirtless wasn't blushworthy enough, Emma has to go and put the thought of him pantless in Hermione's head too. She lets out a squeak, like a mouse and looks down to study her shoes again.

She listens to the others and frowns for a moment, even as she takes Emma's hand. "If no one is completely altru... that word. If no one is that, then why are you helping me?" Hermione has been getting a lot of contact in the last few hours. The club the night before, Kaydin on the flight over and James and Emma now. For those with a truly keen eye, there is a barest hint of a change, as though her skin is a shade lighter, but isn't at the same time.

Hellion has posed:
Julian looks a bit sullen at the words of Hermione. "Not saying that you can't. Just...it's tough, tougher than it should be for someone born the way we are."

"Hey, I'm talking about diamonds. That's the term they use. Not my fault she's made of them!" Julian responds, giving James as much of a fist shake without actually doing so. "If you follow that logic, he is doing it for his own gain." Julian certainly knew plenty of that method. Though the question on what Hermione would pick up certainly garners the telekinetic's attention. Unfortunately Julian isn't too keen an observer. "Well Hell, guess that answers it."

Warpath has posed:
"Julian is right. It is tough. Some of the people here? To give credit where it is do? Deserve that sort of treatment." His praise is a little faint. He doesn't name names in front of Hermione. Not his secrets to tell. He replies. "As to why am I helping you? Honestly?" James looks to Grace, then back at her. "I think you are interesting. I think your powers are fascinating. I think that if I help you now, later when you understand your powers you will remember I was honest and I tried to help you out." James lays it all out for her. "Are you Native?" he asks. He looks to Grace. "Must be something in the Native Gene pool. We turn up mutant more often. I'm sure of it."

Radiance has posed:
Julian gets a glance. His answer to why she's being helped not really what she was hoping for. James' bluntly honest answer though gets a wary look for a moment and then a nod. "I can respect that. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. If you ever need a tractor pulled, I'm yer girl." Slowly, Hermione is warming up to the group. She even laughs when asked if she has any Native in her ancestry. "No. I get asked that a lot though. My mother was from Columbia. She and Dad met at the Harry Potter theme park. THat's why... " She winces then, remembering that these people were told her middle name of Jean.

Emma Frost has posed:
"There's no studies to prove that James." The CEO in secret says, pulling her diamond hand back from Hermione with a tilt of her head and asking, "Feel any different?" The buxom woman tilts back and crosses her arms beneath her chest. "That's why what Jean? Jean, we're going to have to start issuing numbers to the students, we can't have two Jeans here. That would become incredibly confusing. Or do you have another nam- Ooooh." Grace just smiles and doesn't say what conclusion she came to.

Warpath has posed:
He never read Harry Potter, James doesn't get it. 'Jean red and Jean black? Like a bottle of alcohol?" he suggests. His brow lifts as he regards Grace and 'Jean'. 'Feeling mean? that would come from me." he assures them both. "I mean, are you getting power from her? Or is it actual skin?" He makes a face at Grace. "The ramifications are endless. If I was any good at real science i would go back to school for this stuff." that is a strange admission. James blushes at that; he's said too much.

Radiance has posed:
Hermione shakes her head to Emma. "No, nothing. We could see if I can lift more?" She sighs softly. "Promise not to laugh? It's why my parents named me... Hermione Jean. All my brothers and sisters have names from the books." She shuts her eyes, waiting for what she feels is the inevitable. She lifts her shoulders in a shrug. "I don't know if it helped or not. I don't feel any different. Mind you, I never really do."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"Dont feel bad. My mom named me after a character from her stories and gave it fancy spelling." Kaydin says as he smirks to her and then looks to the other two. "So How long are you staying at xavier's Grace? Till you can change back?" He asks with a curious tone.

Hellion has posed:
"I rather like my name. Julian, the name of a Caesar." Julian mentions, although he cannot resist boasting a little on himself. "You ever lift more than that? I clocked in at eleven tons."

"Yes, Grace. How long -are- you planning on staying here?" Seems a little goading is in order from the troublemaker.

Emma Frost has posed:
Grace leans against James' shoulder, her cool diamond gaze lingers on Hermione and then glances over to Julian, with a few blinks before looking back at Jean 2.

Then Grace releases an exaggerated sigh. "I honestly don't know /how/ long I will require to stay, and even worse news is I don't know if I /can/ change back to my old self..." The woman digresses with a touch of worry in her tone.

Warpath has posed:
"Eleven whole tons, Julian?" James gives an exaggerated yawn. "Quaint." He pauses. "But you do it with your mind, so... that is far more than I can lift with my brain." he admits this too. He rubs at his jaw. "I would think getting stuck as a pretty mannequin would be difficult. Emma left detailed instructions on how Miss Grace was to be treated, Julian. We will fllow our orders, and give her the time she needs. But, while I have free reign... what expensive thing do you want?"
Sure. She might kill him later, But, really? This is good for her. Or so James thinks. He just smiles so sweetly, it is as if he could give a person diabetus.
Then Grace says that. "And it doesn't matter either way, as you have people who will see to everything." because teasing is one thing, letting her down is not an option. James looks to 'jean'. "Can you lift me?" He asks her, indicating his chair.

Radiance has posed:
Hermione smiles appreciatively over to Kaydin for not teasing her. Now that Emma is no longer touching her, she glance to James and slowly pulls her hand free, mouthing a silent 'thank you'. "So... you're stuck? Being a diamond? I ... I mean, it sucks, but ... wait, if you cry, are your tears diamonds too? That could really kill the world economy."

This time, Hermione's shrug is more animated, with her hands rising along with her shoulders. "I only ever lifted the tractor back home. It was the heaviest thing we had on the farm. Though my brother's use to like taking turns hitting me with stuff to see it break. Two by fours, golf clubs, baseball bats. That sorta thing."

"I hope, for your sake, you get to go back, Grace. Sounds to me like you aren't liking this whole diamond thing one little bit." She is trying to focus on Grace, but then James asks a question which is pretty silly in her opinion. "Are you heavier then you look or something? I could lift you one handed. And the chair."

Hellion has posed:
Julian's gaze whips to James, his eyes glowing green. "I'm also not a foss...you know as well as I do I have money." Now that Julian was not going to mention James' possible age according to fossil record. "I'm fuckin' going crazy staying out at the school."

"That sounds like what my brother did to me, until I got powers. He never messed with me after that." Julian mentions, looking to Hermione. He soon hovers over the whole group. "And this place, makes me want to throw up with its syrupy sweetness."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"On a plus side she is durable. Never heard of a diamond breaking." Kaydin says as he sips his soda and looks to the woman. "I think you will be able to change back. I have faith in you." He says with a smile as he watches her.

Warpath has posed:
"Julian." James pauses. Welsome to reality. Julian's words aren't really directed at him. Its the 'syrupy sweet' words. James is 16 again, being told he cannot see Theresa because of something minor she did with him and the others. He sits there for a moment. Julian sounds like him. James is shocked into silence. Does he sound like that? Did he then? His features soften. He sits there absolutely shell-shocked. "Of course Julian. It was more as a joke." He says mildly.

Emma Frost has posed:
With that, Emma shrugs her shoulders greatly, and turns on her bare feet to walk back to her lounger and with that she's going to catch up on her netflix outside while there's still day light. She'll look up occasionally towards the group of kiddos but she's pretty much done with this conversation and situation. She needs to be focusing on not relaxing but instead trying to figure out this diamond situation. That's what she needs to be doing but she's still trying to get through the coping with it phase.

Radiance has posed:
Looking up at Julian, Hermione bites her lip with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry? I don't mean to make you sick." She looks to the others. "Would it be better if I go? I mean, with the syrupy sweetness and all." And then Emma turns to go back to her lounger. "Oh, wow. Ummm. I didn't mean to upset anyone." She starts to rise off the ground. "Maybe I should just go home and come back another day?"

Warpath has posed:
James Proudstar releases the girl's hand. He stands up. "I need to do my laundry and handle some things. I need to get my things in order. I will be telecommuting a couple of days next week."

Hellion has posed:
"No. It's not you. It's this idyllic campus. I don't even live here." Julian soon takes off fast, back towards Metropolis. A small boom rings through the air soon after. Looks like he is going to be busting up something.
