Cast of Characters: Miss Martian, Deadzone

Miss Martian has posed:
The next morning, and Megan is sublimating her woes by what she always does. Baking. There's already an entire jar full, along with two trays cooling, and two more in the oven. The redhead girl has a mixing bowl hugged close with one arm, stirring with the other as she prepares more.

Deadzone has posed:
When the home ec teacher walks into the kitchen, she is happily confronted with baking. And baking she doesn't need to grade either, so it's probably pretty good. She smiles and heads over to grab an apron from the wall and ties it on. "Hello again, Megan. Did you sleep alright? You left in a rush. I hope everything was alright. You didn't eat any of Bobby's cooking, did you?"

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan looks up at Tatum, and she smiles, though it looks a bit forced, and she's got some dark circles under her eyes. Someone hasn't really slept much. Or at all. "Huh? I...napped some. But no, I haven't eaten anyone's cooking. Just taste-tested the cookies. Cookie?" she asks, offering the jar to Tatum with the pointing of a spoon.

Deadzone has posed:
Tatum says, "I would love one, thank you." She takes the offered cookie and takes a bite, trying not to rate it as she would one of her students. It's a hard skill to not do once you have started. "A plus," Tatum remarks with a playful smirk. "Being on a new world can be tough, huh?" she asks with warmth and sympathy. "New customs, new faces, all the old faces you knew and loved gone. It gets easier, I promise. In a years time, you'll look back at this and laugh.""

Miss Martian has posed:
#-1 ARGUMENT OUT OF RANGE's chocolate chip, and fairly good...Megan's no expert, but she's baked a LOT of cookies. "It's rough." She sighs, and puts the bowl down on the counter. "I hope so. Humans are very different. And I feel like such an outsider." That same wan, forced smile. "Last night could have gone better."

Miss Martian has posed:
"Music's pretty nice." She does hold off on giving permission, though. "Before I say yes...what do your powers do with shapeshifting?" she asks, uncertainly.

Miss Martian has posed:
"Well, we're all shapeshifters...but I'm not in my natural form right now." Says the human-appearing teenager. "So, I wasn't sure." With the mention of the "original" form, she frowns, and pales a little. "That's probably not a good idea then." She says in a small voice.

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan hugs herself. "I...just don't think it would be a good idea." The offer of brownies interests her, though. "That sounds like it would be neat." She moves over to watch. "Where did you go in space?"
