Cast of Characters: Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Supergirl

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana Prince had had a fairly lengthy talk with Batman last night, in SPACE, before she had inevitably pushed too far at him and made him leave cause she was trying to get too deep into emotions and chatterboxing for the Dark Knight to handle.

But during that, she'd realized she'd needed to stop waiting for a chance to talk to Superman and demand it of him. So she'd sent out a signal to Superman, and several others that she needed to hold a conference with them.

Diana now stood in the observation room, she had the planet Earth in full 3d brilliance floating above the floor about 20 feet up and it was illuminating the room in blues and whites as it slowly turned with the backdrop of holo-graphic-space behind it.

Diana was dressed in her armor, but it was hidden beneath a dark blue/gold robe. She was merely standing there in the center of the room, waiting.

Superman has posed:
Superman does not make Diana wait for too long. He is a busy man, but not -too- busy. He drops to his feet in the hangar, flying in from space, and walks his way through the station. The door to the deck opens with a SWOOSH, and in strides the Man of Tomorrow.

"Diana," he offers with a warm smile. "I hope you're doing well? Sorry for making you wait. I had to break up a tsunami building up over the coast of Taiwan." His cape swishes about his ankles as he makes his way up beside her. He glances up at the rotating Earth and ponders it for a brief moment, before he glances back over towards her.

Batman has posed:
The slowly rotating display of the planet Earth twists through its casual arc, the movement almost peaceful, perhaps as it does not show any hint of the wild proclivities of the beings that inhabit the real thing. And behind it an approximation of the near space around the celestial object gives a hint of the night's sky.
It is against that backdrop that the Dark Knight appears, little more than eyes in the darkness of space as he steps forwards, perhaps taking that moment as the instant to arrive or perhaps simply happenstance that has him enter as Superman greets the princess.
"Wonder Woman. Superman." His voice is level and gravelly, no inflection nor hint of warmth. Though he does pause to quirk a curious eyebrow behind his cowl towards the Kryptonian. He then adds, "Fancy seeing you here."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara is on Superman's heels. She drops a backpack hastily and it slides into a wall with a louder thud than she hunches her shoulders before trying to walk in business-like. "Hello. Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman." He goes last and she wrinkles her nose at him. He's probably not checking his emails stopping tsunamis. She brushes her skirt to make sure she looks tidy before approaching the older heroes and the globe projection, curious.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana was pleased when she heard Kal's voice and she turned around to face him. A smile was present on her face. "If I had a dime for every time someone late to one of my meetings told me it was because they were breaking up a tsunami..." She showed the hint of a grin and the nodded to him. "I am glad you came, specifically." She'd then turn to see Batman when he stalked into the room in his usual Phantom of the Opera-esque theatrics. "Good. You did not give me a chance to apologize for what happened on the Watchtower, Batman. I am sorry that I got too personal with you." She told him then, which might make the other's in the room raise a brow or two.

Kara's arrival, however, was surprising... but in a way that made Diana smile openly. "Supergirl. Do, come in. I would be most pleased to know that you were here to hear this as well. How are you, dear?" She asked the clearly frazzled young Kryptonian.

Superman has posed:
The Man of Steel glances over as Batman makes himself known, and he offers even him that friendly smile of his. "Hello there, Batman. I'm actually up here fairly often. Just ask Supergirl about the horrors of being made to help make dinner." He chuckles softly and shifts his weight from one boot to the other.

He glances over at Supergirl and smiles at her. "Speaking of! How are you doing, hmm? Keeping busy, I hope? ...And out of trouble?" Kal-el glances back over at Diana as she begins to speak.

"Oh?," he replies, blinking when she says she was waiting for him in particular. He arches an eyebrow and glances between Diana and Batman, his curiosity certainly piqued! He keeps that to himself for now, though, to be polite.

Batman has posed:
"I don't know what you're talking about." Batman says towards Diana in a voice that sounds perfectly reasonable even as he executes a rapier-like conversational pirouette and changes the subject with all the aplomb of a man that is entirely guilty. But is good at hiding it. The cowl turns slightly towards Supergirl, no greeting. Superman, however, gets the full double barrels of a man who values his time entirely too much to the opinion of some.
"Why are we here?" Of course he asks Superman first, but then those irisless eyes shift back towards Diana, his brow quirking with a hint of curiousity. "I was following up that lead you gave me earlier regarding the symbiotes."
The cape rustles faintly as he folds his arms over his chest, expression grim. "There are several things afoot that I need to keep tabs on."

Supergirl has posed:
"I've resolved dating is stupid." Kara announces then adds "And joined the school paper." She looks at Kal again and makes a face. "Cooking like that is horrible. Being a highschool student is worse. My clone's younger and she gets to live like an adult." She shakes her hair off her shoulders, and stands closer to Diana. "Oh-and there's an alien you should maybe know about."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would regard both Superman and Batman, she'd look to Batman when he spoke of the symbiotes. "That is precisely why we are here. In the spirit of communication, I wanted to go over what I talked to you about, with the rest of whom we could summon." Diana would then look to Kara and smile at her, she'd reach her right arm around Kara's shoulders and give her a reassuring half-hug, standing aside her still. "You are too good for any of the men who seek to date you." She said with a sincere warmth and kindness for the young one. "And what alien is that?" She'd then ask before looking to Superman specifically.

"I need to tell you about someone I bumped into... so to speak. I do not have a name for him, all I know is that he was dressed similarly to you, he spoke highly of you... completely in broken English and he... claims to be a hero, just like you." Diana would pause just for a seocnd as she considered her words. "He was wrong though, Kal... Like a... science expiriment that had... less than ideal results. I need to know if anyone has gotten ahold of a, blood, sample from you?"

Superman has posed:
"Dating is certainly complicated." Superman pauses then, and turns back to squint at Supergirl. "Is some boy or girl giving you troubles? Anyone you'd like me to have a talk with?" Overprotective 'big' cousin is overprotective. He turns his attention back to Batman, then.

"Diana made the call, Batman. Not me." He sideglances at Supergirl again. "Alien?," the Man of Steel asks curiously. "Symbiotes?" Kal-el is a bit out of tune on everything it would seem!

"I...don't know. I've only bled a small handful of times while in combat. Most things can't break my skin, afterall. I guess it is possible, though." He furrows his brow and brushes his fingers back through his dark hair. "I would like to meet this individual as soon as I can. How similarly? He wore the symbol of my House?" His fingertips touch the shield on his chest.

Batman has posed:
For now, Batman is comfortable letting Diana take the lead on this line of inquiry, as he had already heard about this in part from her. So he keeps his arms folded, expression leveled on Superman and his teenage counterpart. Any judgement or insight about the matter he holds for now.
But then Superman's answers come forth and he tilts his head slightly. He turns his head and pointedly looks towards Supergirl, says nothing, then shuts his mouth for the moment. He does, however lift his wrist and touches a fingertip to the display there, keying through a few entries... then shuts it down.

Supergirl has posed:
"His name is Power Boy. He says. I named him Beau, but umm, he was an Apocalyptic soldier who turned on his troops because he thinks Earth is pretty greet and he's an empath or something and he wants to be good like me." Coming home with a tiny kraken might have been safer, probably. She looks at Diana keenly. "Kal has a clone?" She looks to her cousin. "See, this is what happens when you get trapped in space. Do you think it was the people who got me when I was fresh and fumbling?" She asks the Amazonian. She looks at her cousin and raises her chin a little. "Read your dumb emails some time." The personal ones. Unless there's another Clark Kent whose been getting some emails filled with awkward girl drama. She leaves Batman to his Batmaning, unsure how to engage the brooding guy.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would nod her head gently to Superman's response. "The symbiotes are a separate issue. At least I... assume, at this point." She glanced in Batman's direction but she figured he wouldn't have a lot to say at this point since she'd told him the previous night already, but she wanted him here anyway, because the League benefitted from its top members being well informed.

"He wore a uniform similar to yours, yes, but the logo on the chest was reversed... backward. I am uncertain if that holds any meaning on your world." Diana would look then to Kara who spoke of this Power Boy. "This... man... was a member of the army that invaded last month? And he's... defected from them?" She asked the young blonde one.

Superman has posed:
"An Apokalyptic soldier who turned on his troops," Superman repeats. "Beau. Yeah, I'll definatly need to meet this 'Boy' soon." The man shakes his head a bit. "If he's made from genetic material, I doubt it is yours. Not the way Diana describes him. I could be wrong, though." He furrows his brows at the mention of e-mails, and gives himself a silent reminder to check his non-work e-mail sometime. He isn't used to people wanting to e-mail him.

He turns his attention back towards Diana. "Ah, well fill me in on them when you get a chance too, then. Reversed, hmm?" He considers that. He ponders all of this while he lets Diana question Kara.

Batman has posed:
After a moment, Batman lifts his voice. "Would it be possible for someone to gain genetic material another way, Superman?" He turns and steps to the side of that planetary display, the stars sliding over the armored plates of his uniform and the curves of his cloak. "Skin cells. Hair follicles. Anything else?"
After a few steps he stops and turns back, now perhaps more equi-distant between the four of them, his back to the computer panel and part of the display. He retakes his stance with his arms folded over his chest. "Anyone close to you that might have money difficulties or recently soured on a connection." To be fair he presents this as calm and non-judgmental as one can. But perhaps not enough so.

Supergirl has posed:
"Yeah, he rescued this pug puppy when I was helping clear up rubble and ummm, we've been hanging out a bit." Kara makes a face and looks at Superman. "We made sure they couldn't make more than Kara 2. This is all you." She assures Kal, a hand resting on her hip. "So, what is a symbiote and do they want to kill us, or other people?" She asks briskly. "Power Boy isn't a threat, but it sounds like the other thing is. He's just a stranded alien."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would glance to both Bruce and Kal after here Kara's explanation of Power Boy and claiming that he's not a threat... she's not so easily convinced by this though, but the look she gave to Kal-el would suggest she'd think he better look into the matter, considering its his older/younger cousin at risk here, afterall.

"I told the... potential clone... to find the Hall of Justice in Metropolis, come here to meet with us. I am hoping that he will do that, and that we can get further information on his origins." Which she nodded then to Batman. "It may not be a DNA-tampered clone, but it seems the most likely possiblity at this point."

Diana would then hear the symbiotes brought up again by Kara and she exhaled softly. "My second topic." She started. "I met a man, who calls himself Phage... but his real name is Carl Mach. He's a wealthy man, seemingly, he owns and operates an art gallery in Manhattan. He summoned me to a private art showing, where he told me - and showed me - about the symbiote that has bonded with him... and the others that are being forced onto others, in what he deemed a 'factory' of symbiote production."

Diana sighed again. "He was an, odd man, he spoke in a strange way that suggested to me that he was in a great deal of pain, but when I asked him, he said his symbiote was there by his choice, and was not harming him in any way." She frowned lightly.

"I am not so sure of this, however." She'd softly add.

Superman has posed:
"Anything is possible, Batman. And...no. Nobody that comes to mind, no."

He nods a bit as Kara explains Power Boy a bit, the man clearly distracted now. "Well, I'll meet him soon. Or, I hope to." Superman turns his full attention to Diana, then, trying to focus on one thing at a time. "Okay. Potential clone. Wears a similar outfit, with a reverse shield of El. You said he talks funny, too?" He considers this for a moment as he glances up at the globe again.

"Factory of symbiote production..." He sighs softly. "I can check the archives at the Fortress, since it has the accumulated records of dozens of star systems. Might be something in there about this symbiote. Could you forward me any information you have on it from this so I can cross-reference?"

Batman has posed:
Batman shifts his weight to the other boot slowly, the leather and kevlar creaking with the subtle motion. He turns his head to the side, cowl shifting to level on Diana and Clark each in turn. "I'm taking point with the symbiote. I've Carl Mach's location narrowed down, setting up a situation to approach him safely and with a way that he won't immediately break and run."
There's a pause as he perhaps considers leaving it at that, but then he adds a bit more. "The man's movements indicate a background in intelligence." He seems about to go on, but instead he looks back at them and says simply. "I've got this."

Supergirl has posed:
"Cool. I'll just keep an eye on my alien friend then and help with the reconstruction projects in the area?" She looks between them all. She'd likely rather be in on the action, but whining about things isn't helpful. "Maybe meet this clone of Kal's? I am familiar with new clones, Kara was a little in articulate at first too. Sorry, Karen. She likes Karen."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would nod softly to Kal. "Both Carl Mach, and this supposed clone... spoke poorly, but I believe the two things are coincidental and unrelated to one another. Mister Mach spoke much more fluently than... your clone. He seems nearly entirely unable to form a coherent sentence, Kal." She'd say, then pause for just a moment. "He physically looks 'wrong' too, Kal. It might be somewhat disturbing for you to see him, I need to warn you before hand about that. It looks... like you... but, wrong, altered in a very bad way."

Diana would look to Bruce and she'd give him a single confident nod to his taking the Mach situation. "Remember, he was not openly aggressive toward me. So we should not be toward him either." She'd say to Batman--worried that he might try to be a bit too... Batman-y right out of the gate with this man.

Diana would then look to Kara and she'd smile faintly to her. "I would actually like you to be there to meet with this... reversed-Kal. I think your kindness and demeanor, it might make the man feel more comfortable. And as for Power Boy, be -careful- Kara. If anything feels off about him, come to any of the three of us, swiftly."

Superman has posed:
"Ah. Fair enough." He doesn't push the subject regarding the symbiote. He knows better, regarding Batman. He turns his attention to Supergirl and gives her a nods. "Smart. Keep an eye on your new friend, and I'll meet him soon. Soon."

He frowns a hint as he turns back towards Diana, the man trying to take all of this in. "Hrm. I have no idea how that could have come about, and I have to admit I'm a little worried about it all. And yes, I know. I have no plans to go into meeting him swinging, or anything like that."

Batman has posed:
There's a moment where Batman looks towards Supergirl and seems about to say something, but instead chooses to keep his counsel to himself. At the last few words from Superman, however, he'll give a small grunt of acknowledgement before unfolding his arms and pushing his cloak back over his shoudlers.
A nod is given as Batman looks between the others there in that room with the holo-display between them. "Now if there isn't anything else?" He tilts his head slightly, then unless he's stopped he'll turn away and begin to walk towards the doorway that leads out into the hall. But once he reaches the doorway he'll say, "We should do this weekly. So we're up to date." Of course... Batman didn't exactly mention too much of what goes on in his part of the world. And he likes it that way.

Supergirl has posed:
"I'll be there." Kara assures Diana and looks at Kal. "Be nice. He wants very much to prove him self and show he can be good, like me." She tells Superman. "He has a...rough idea of how people behave and interact but he feels emotion strongly, and he seems as strong as you or I, Kal. Don't pick a fight, please." She asks. She sticks out her tongue at Batman quickly before offering a small wave. "Nothing more to report." She says dryly, in a good approximation of teenager-ese. She's learning something in highschool at least.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would step toward Kal and she'd reach her left hand out to take hold of his right elbow when he said it worried him a bit. "Take comfort in knowing that this reversed-Man helped me defeat a parademon in central park. He may be a creation bread from ill-intent, or he might be something... better. But what I know is that he wanted to be a hero, and he said he wanted to be a hero... like you. He needs our help." Diana would show a light smile then and she'd drop her hand once more.

At Batman she'd give a look when he strode off. "I will happily contact you all to come in again, when I have more information to relay and I hope that we can expect the same between each and all of us." She said to him before then looking to Kara.

"Kal won't pick a fight." Di told the young Kyrptonian. "He has me to answer to about how he treats your boy friends." She then grinned at both of them.

Superman has posed:
Superman glances over at Batman. He purses his lips for a brief moment, but he ends up nodding. "Right. Weekly meetings are a smart idea. I strongly feel like we should meet outside of those, too. Team-building is about more then simply exchanging information. Getting to know one another on closer levels improves morale and creates cohesion. I figure you'll say no to that one, though, Batman. Still, I'll suggest it to everyone."

He glances over at Supergirl. "I'll be nice, don't worry. I'll treat him with kindness until he shows me that I should not...as I try to with everyone." He turns his attention back to Diana, then. "Okay. I trust your take on it. I hope to meet him myself, though. Sooner rather then later." He chuckles softly at Diana.

Batman has posed:
Batman, for his part, does not respond as he is already gone.

Supergirl has posed:
"Super duper. Now I just need to figure out things with Darkhawk. He was kinda mopey I signed on here and we moved from Canada and he's still up there so it's long distance and boys are soooo fragile." She looks at Diana. "How do you date them? Kissing is like rocket science." She grouches and glares at the globe. "Our parents really didn't think that part out, Kal."

Wonder Woman has posed:
The Amazonian would nod in agreement with Kal's words on team building and she'd see Batman slip back out like the moody one that he was which made her softly sigh. But it was Kara who made Diana smile. "I have not dated a man in... well... I suppose my entire time away from Themyscira. I fell in -love- with a man once, but it was a very long time ago." Diana turned then toward the exit that Batman had gone through into the main corridor, but she paused and regarded Kara.

"Be yourself, around them... do not... be things that they want you to be, or expect you to be. If they cannot accept you for who you are, then they are not a boy... or man... you need to be around." Diana then showed a small grin. "And only kiss the ones who are truly good to you. The rest? Show them to the curb."

The princess would then move for the doorway. "I will send out a League-wide message on all of this, now that we are all informed." She said on her way.

Superman has posed:
Kal-el is distratced by all of this information. Alien boys. Weird backwards clones. Symbiotes. He turns to watch the 3d Earth spin slowly between them, and then he rises a few feet into the air. "I'm going to go and work on a report I have due for the Planet by morning. I got distracted from it by the tsunami. But yes, we should get together soon and do...I don't know. Something. With or without the Bat."

He raises a hand to wave to the two, and then turns to make his leave.

Supergirl has posed:
"Not cooking!" Kara calls after Kal and looks to Diana. "The Danvers are pumpkin carving. I bet Kal would like pumpkin carving." She looks to the globe. "Thanks for the boy advice. " She tells the Amazonian and eyes her backpack with contempt. "I guess I'll go do homework."
