Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Hoodlum, Shatterpoint, Cyclops, Genesis

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie made the mistake that no one should ever do, falling asleep on the subway. It could land you in tough spots, it could put you on YouTube god forbid, and it could make you reach places you never thought you would. For instance, stopping at the last stop, walking out in a daze, and finding you're in freakin' Haven. Who ever wants to go to Haven? Certainly not Ellie. "Fuck," she snaps once she realizes she's not in New York City.

Hoodlum has posed:
It's the dead of night right now. The local train station is generally deserted at this time of night. Which is probably why THIS is happening of all things, here. And what is THIS? THIS is a creepy horde of people in bird masks fighting a large woman in a hoodie and a domino mask down a blocked-off tunnel. This should probably be quieter than it actually is, except for the fact that the sound of metal ringing off of metal is CLEARLY audible as it clangs down the abandoned corridor. Most of the bird-masked people have swords, knives, axes, the like in one hand or another, while the tall woman has a very long, wavy-bladed sword and hatchet.

If this were day time, any odd might've called the cops. As this is Bludhaven, it's unlikely they would've arrived... But they would've called the cops. Still, even common muggers and homeless seem to have cleared off tonight. An unusual chill is in the air, with a low fog. It would be almost unusually quiet if it weren't for grunting and growling as the amazonian woman does her best to keep up with the tide of mischief-makers rushing her.

Shatterpoint has posed:
For one or more of the people in this tunnel, it is not their lucky day. For someone else, it is absolutely the luckiest possible thing. It has been about fifty years since Caroline has come across a suspicious gathering of individuals. She's followed them for a bit, at least one or two of them having to come in through the non-blocked off side.

Eventually, hanging back as far as she does, Caroline hears the sound of violence... And does not increase her pace. Ellie probably sees her more than any of the others, though the sound of combat- medieval combat, no less- once the train has passed proper. Caroline walks, perhaps blindly, down the tunnel and, casually, into the blocked-off area in which the strife is occurring. She doesn't interfere- not yet, at least- instead merely walking her way towards where the group of people seem to be going at it.

For someone, or someones, this is -not- going to end well.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
As Ellie steps out of the last train, stuck in this god-forsaken Haven station, she does not expect this trippy medieval scene of combat. Yet, that's pretty much what's going on. "Oh, hell no," she quips to herself. She tries not to get involved, if the masked idiots will be smart enough not to involve her in their stupid fight. Her immediate concern is how much trouble she'll get into for breaking curfew, and whether she'll get grounded or something stupid like that. If her phone gets confiscated for any amount of time, the entire city of Haven can consider itself dead. Because she'll test the upper limits of her powers right here.

Hoodlum has posed:
Marquez the Murderer thrums in Clarine's veins. He's a vicious fighter, with hundreds, maybe thousands of years of experience when one counts his stolen memories. Throbbing in the back of her skulls most days like a loose tooth she can't stop wiggling with her tongue. An experience with blades far beyond what her twenty-odd years could possibly match. A bloodthirsty beast, to be sure... The girl buries her hatchet to the haft in the belly of one of the creatures fighting her, then pulls it out in a spray of blood. There's no hesitation, even as the man (this one with a sparrow mask) falls to the ground, clutching his belly in pain. He seems far less concerned than he should be.

Without even pausing, she pivots and kicks, launching another through the crowd of people menacing her. The hatchet comes up and down again, getting lodged in the sternum of another person and leaving her grasp, causing the woman to curse in her slightly too low voice. The woman switches to a two-handed grip on her sword, swinging it in an arc to get some room... Only to have one of the people, blurringly fast, leap forward through the air.

That jump is CLEARLY not human. Even less human is that she opens her mouth, bared by the swan-like half mask and buries fangs deep in the woman's neck while a knife in one of her hands plunges into her belly repeatedly, causing even more blood loss. The woman grabs the person/creature currently making gross sucking sounds off her by the neck and headbutts her. That's a broken nose, right there.

Of course, a good five of the crowd, first one, then a few others lift their heads up sniffing the air, and hiss in gravelly voices,"They'll ruin everything. Get them!" Three charge down the tunnel in Ellie's direction, steps surprisingly quiet. Two others break off in Caroline's direction. They all have very sharp-looking axes.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline's brow raises, and she looks over all the information presented to her. Altogether, she definitely looks the least assuming of the three targets for the assumedly-vampiric individuals making all the ruckus. She's dressed in a basic sweater and jeans. Black on black. She honestly looks like some random Havenite who got lost.

A number of them charge at her, and were she what she looks like, she would be fleeing. Instead, her hands leave her pockets, and her gait changes, into something more menacing. She isn't running, not yet, but she also isn't -fleeing.-

"I ruin a lot of things."

The voice, when she speaks, is some horrid croaking noise, throaty and grotesque, it barely resembles speech despite how clearly it can be understood. When the assailants reach her, they're in for something of a surprise- it is almost impossible to be properly equipped to handle the thing they're assaulting.

She may be on the streets- and from them, too- but this woman is NOT street-level.

Cyclops has posed:
Having received a tweet that one of his students was outside of the area, Scott had messaged back letting Ellie know he would be there soon.

Since one of the newer students was still up at the time, Scott had offered to bring Evan along, and they had taken off towards Bludhaven. They were making their way in his lovely red Mustang.

Genesis has posed:
Evan was happy he was sitting in the Mustang watching the scenery go by in the blur just sitting in the passenger seat with his hoodie up, and a cheap pair of sunglasses on. Sure it was at night, but still it helped to cover the red glow that was his eyes. With the hoodie, and glasses his odd apearance had been covered eve while he was at the school as it was an old habbit, one Evan was happy about now that he had to go outside. He had been up late studing to catch up with the other students when he heard Scott come down the hall, though did not expect he would be here right now speeding out to go get what he thought was some lost student out there.

In his hand was an old door-knob.. It was given to him as practice so that maybe he would stop smashing them on accident. He was to see how long he could carry it, and not smash the thing into oblivion on accident. It was very difficult now as he was excited to get out and see the world a bit more even if it was at night. He rolled the window down a bit, and felt the cool breeze with a small smile he fought the urge to stick his head out the window like a dog to just take in the smells, and view of the outside.. feel the wind in his hair. For now he just sat with his hands in his lap with the doorknob ontop of his hands not forgetting to bring it too of course.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie recieves a text from Scott that he's on the way to pick her up, so at least she won't be spending the night at a stupid Haven subway station. Why was she thinking of spending the night? Because there was no freakin' way in hell that wannabe knife-wielding Warriors rejects in bird masks were going to end her. Fuck that. If she goes out it'll be with style, not some random slash work by a reject. "You seriously coming at me?" She spits at the three rushing her, one would expect a 15 year old to be intimidates, instead, she just glowers at them as a spherical red energy starts to crackle. "I just might hold you douchemasks accountable for everything that sucks right now. Including this stupid train," if the three rushing her stagger, she'll bide her time, if they keep rushing however...then she'll charge back at them, the energy sphere around her intensifying. It's a game of chicken, see what happens on contact. She has an inkling.

Hoodlum has posed:
Cue a pair of vampy things slamming their axes into Carol... and getting pretty much nothing for their efforts. Rather than seem distraught, they whistle in tandem, and call out,"Get Ashuka. It's her magic we need." They bite into their own wrists... and spit blood at Caroline's face.

As for Ellie... Well, Ellie gets a up close introduction to just how sturdy these things are. They charge at her, swinging their axes because, apparently they fear no crazy red energy ball. Of course, when they go flying in the other direction and lose their weapons... Well... that's another thing entirely.

And what of the young woman with the sword? Well, she opens herself up to ALL the memories. Untold years of constant battle and bloodshed, and her movements become a fusion of them. That sword dances around, and suddenly, hands, fingers, legs... they go flying in little arcs around her as blood spatters about. Occasionally a head comes off, and these things turn into dust that crumbles to nothingness before their bodies can even hit the ground. There's really just too many of them, though, and she goes down under the press of bodies.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline stands ready as axes come into contact with her skin- which does not feel very good, for the vampires. It's not about to stop them or even make them abate, but the vibration of an axehead bouncing off of her flesh is not going to be pleasant, if nothing more than comical.

Her reaction to the blood is much simpler. It hits her face, and freezes there, rolling off of her features as reddened snow. She rolls one shoulder, and swings the back of her hand towards the chin of the nearest blood-fetishist. On contact, it doesn't do a whole lot. It'll knock the man back, and send them for a loop, to be sure, but they'll definitely be back up: After all, Caroline can only lift the average truck above her head. Certainly not overwhelmingly strong. Moments following, however, the water in the marrow of the man's facial bones freezes, and in the expansion, cracks and fractures all throughout his jaw and the side of his head erupt. Frankly, if the man can feel pain, he may not be getting up again any time soon, especially as he tries to scream.

The second assailant is a more complex target. Caroline is an in-fighter, not necessarily strictly a boxer, but certainly an aggressive, direct stance. She doesn't use her legs just yet, instead ducking under an axe-swing and sending a flurry of blows to the vamp's midsection, then one to the sternum, and then a quick uppercut to the jaw. She's as fast as they are, superhumanly so- and doubling down on that, she has absolutely no worry for dodging or parrying any hits that come her way, so she can exploit more openings than they can.

Her flurry of blows is not enough to bring this person down, but soon after her hands leave their target, a similar experience is in store. Muscle groups freeze and then, as if they had a will of their own, split, crack and sever, breaking apart at Caroline's will. The bones in their chest split and crack, and of course, once again the -jaw.-

She moves towards the woman they attacked originally, trying to reach her in order to provide proper aid. The castoffs in her direction aren't cutting it- and though she's doing good work, she's not doing enough, if she can't reach Clarine.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott looks a bit...unamused at the situation. But he continues on. Only shortly before they get there does he ask Evan. "How are you adjusting?" He was known for being somewhat awkward, but not uncaring. "Reach in that glove box, there's a visor in there. Grab it for me, please." He was always carrying one, but he knew Bludhaven's proclivity for violence almost rivaled that of Gotham.

Once he parks, and exchanged his glasses for his visor, Cyclops makes his way into the station with Evan in tow. The man wasn't of course expecting to need to use his visor at all, but better safe than sorry.

A beam of concussive energy booms through the station and towards the assailants headed towards Ellie. The beam is wide and large, he intends to make it as verbose as possible to stave off any more attempts at his student. "Get behind me." He says, calmly moving towards Ellie.

Cyclops quickly tries to identify who needs to receive more of a beating. "If these are the friends you make, you need to reassess your friends." Scott says, joking of course.

Genesis has posed:
The boy smiles at Scott.. "I am doing fine sir.. Once the guy with the claws stopped thinking I was there to hurt everyone things have been quiet." he responded as he did what he was asked quietly handing it to him. He was also quiet in self thought so didn't even realize the awkardness though that comin from someone who never really delt with people.. He prob wouldn't realize what awkward was yet. He follows Scott staying behind him with his head down to make sure no-one saw his face, and even though the other guy was wearing a large visor he looked realitivly human so did not want to actually attract attention to them.

The boy is quiet for the whole trip down, and would of continued till the large blast of the beam gets a "Yip" of surprise the boy jumping in place he looks down the way he shot, and shakes his head.. "those are bad guys right?" he asks to make sure, and though the blast went off with what looked to be efficently he sighs a bit looking to see if there was anyone left..

Of course he couldn't fight, or well didn't know how to fight, so he wouldn't be that great if this pressed on, but he could throw. He didn't want to it was his goal to keep it, but if any of them were still up that had knives he would throw the Door-Knob at them. While it was just a normal metal Door-Knob.. Having it thrown at you with 20 metric tons of force would make it a bad day for anyone who might be hit by it. He did aim low if he had to throw it, not wanting to kill anyone, but still... After this he gives a thumbs-up to Scott, and smiles. "I got your back sir.. Anyone comes through I will smack 'em!" and grins a bit.. How hard could this fighting thing be after all right just make contact is all he had to do with most people, and that was it for them.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie isn't too concerned with other people around who might be suffering, she's very much self centered, then again she also never asked to be a hero. Her life was quite the shit show, and somehow she wound up with Xavier's where she was learning about her 'gift'. The very 'gift' that killed off her parents. She was full of distaste for everything, of anger, and she didn't really care to vaporize idiots in bird masks if they weren't directly coming at her. She is quite happy she taught a lesson to the three that charged, any more comers get a taste of Cyclops optic blast as he makes a timely arrival. For once, Ellie doesn't give Scott any lip, she just rushes towards him, staying safe behind him as she snorts, "nobody who wears a bird mask like a douche would ever be my friend, besides, I didn't even want to get to this shithole of a city. The train fucked up." It's usually not Ellie's fault, whatever it is anyone is talking to her about. "Thanks for coming," she mutters at Scott, looking warily at Evan, before snapping at him, "I could totally take all of them out, I just don't want to."

Hoodlum has posed:
The truth is, vampires are very aerodynamic. It's all that lack of water in the body. Or maybe it's the bird masks. Whatever the case may be, though, soon enough, there's someone with eyebeams tossing mooks around, frozen jaws shattering and maybe even breaking off living corpses... And a woman in an ibis mask that covers the upper half of her face. She's short, but the rest of the vampires drag/pull themselves away from the mutants who've just 'exploded' onto the scene. This leaves them pulling away from Clarine on the ground, who looks very, very pale. Faint breathing. Barely rising chest. A LOT of blood covering the floor... Frankly, with the blood all over the creatures that were attempting to suck her dry, and the ground, it's amazing she's alive at all.

The woman in the ibis mask, meanwhile, informs the cavalry (even as a vampire fishes a doorknob from his now-swampy ribcage),"This is just a blip on the radar. Ia, Ia, Nggog!" Cue spooky chanting, and weird purple lightning crackling over the vampires as their forms begin to flicker in and out of sight. Looks like this is the bird-masked vampire equivalent of a ninja smokebomb. "Your kind's rich blood shall be the foundation for a new future." Does EVERYONE have it out for mutants?

Shatterpoint has posed:
The vampires depart from Caroline, who is not a trained EMT of any kind. The girl on the floor is bleeding enough that, to some extent, she is written off- There is one last thing Caroline will do, before she takes Clarine to the hospital.

She draws back a fist, and lurches it forward in a straight-punch. Surging from under the cuff of her sweater is a sphere-tipped chain of ice, that seems almost sentient in the way it defies gravity, flying towards the woman in the Ibis mask.

She may be too late- the spell may be too complete for the vampires to have physical form. If they do, though? If that little half-golf-ball sphere connects with the woman in the mask? It'll be like a video game. Drawn back by Caroline's inexorable control over ice, she'll be right in the freezing beast's hands.

If, however, she doesn't make contact, it'll be her own fault for letting them call for backup.

The mutants, though, have a superpower that Caroline doesn't necessarily possess: A car. They're a little better suited to getting Clarine to a hospital, because Fireman Carrying a critically injured individual at sixty miles per hour is going to be incredibly unpleasant.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott gives a bit of a sigh, running toward the woman on the ground. "We need to get her to the hospital. She's lost enough blood." Cyclops looks to the teens. "Help me get her in the car and we can get there faster than an ambulance will get here." Scott moves to carry the woman from her head and shoulders.

Genesis has posed:
Evan listens to the Vampires and shivers a bit.. "Well that was rather foreboding wasn't it.. Do you do this often I take it?" looking up at Cyclops as he speaks. He glances around him a bit, and looks at the ice lady trying to continue the fight and gives a little head shake. "Miss.. umm.. Miss.. Sorry to interupt, but I think we should save the bleeding girl.. Other then continue the fight." he points at the girl on the ground. He then steps behind Cyclops again hiding back there where it is safe.

He hurries to follow him and looks down at the hurt girl.. "I can't... I am sorry... I could hurt her worse then she is." I just can't he adds looking at his hands then to the others. He stops and thinks though. "Wait... why not have the ice lady freeze the wounds? I mean sure she might get a little frostbite, but shouldn't that stop the bleeding therefore give us more time to get her to safty?" he glances at the lady who was freezing stuff. "I mean if she would of course.." taking a little step away from her just incase she wanted to throw the hook at him instead.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
For once in her life, whether for the incident she happened by, or trying to mitigate any potential punishment for breaking curfew, Ellie actually listens to a faculty member without complaints. She just follows Scott's instructions, and, actually helps. It's pretty weird. Still, it happens. Still, doubtful anyone would believe Scott if he tells the tale.

Hoodlum has posed:
The woman is easy enough to pick up. She's large, and athletic, but no heavier than a human bearing her dimensions should be. "Nnn... no... hospital... n-no hospital..." This while people are currently trying to carry her to safety. "C-can't go to hospital. Too... many... questions-" And cue passing out. Consciousness is a distant dream.

Meanwhile, Caroline has a hand full of vampiric magician. For a whole three seconds. The woman flips her middle finger at Caroline, crosses her eyes, mutters something dark-sounding... and explodes, covering Caroline in a shower of blood. And the others with her? They disappear in thunderous crash of violet energy, gone from sight.

Shatterpoint has posed:
In a flash, everything is over. The mutants are carrying Clarine to safety- whether they listen to her protests or not is their businesss. Caroline, for her part, has the culprit- who explodes. Promptly. The blood rolls off of her hair and skin, frozen to snow like the rest.

But her clothes? They get soaked in red.

She gestures, exhasperated, before sliding her hands into her pockets and finding that all of the vampires are gone. She'll question Clarine another time, if the woman survives. Opposite the mutants, Caroline simply departs, in silence.

Cyclops has posed:
Cyclops looks at the group, giving a stalwart grimace. "You could die..." Scott, along with Ellie, lifts the woman up, carrying her to his car, enough space behind them to accommodate. "We can't get back in time." He says, looking in the back. "We either get you to the hospital, or if there's someone else close we can go there." Scott says sternly, before heading out of the area, no sense waiting at this point.

Genesis has posed:
Evan follows quietly behind quietly behind Scott not saying anything. He watches carefully taking mental notes, and helping how he can when asked. He does though stop, and pick up the metal door-knob on the way out though he doesn't wipe it off more hold it with two fingers a bit away from him. "I heard you have some smart people at the school.. maybe one of them can tell us exactly what we are dealing with." he mentions to Scott as he carries the bloddy knob out with him.

The rest of the time he is there, in the background waiting watching though he would stay in the car from that point if they went into populated areas. He didn't think someone with blue skin would get very far in a hospital so distances himself if they enter a place like that. He will keep the bloddy knob though for research... Maybe they can find something next time that will help against such things they fought that night. Evan didn't know for sure, but it couldn't hurt.. at least for now.
