Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
It's a wonderful Fall morning leaves have turned colors and all and the trees are gradually loosing their ability to provide much shade. There are a large number of cafes, coffee shops, etc all over the place, one of which might stand out. It's a old red-bricked building with large amounts of decorative iron work aand stained glass rimmed windows the stained glass apppearing to be occult symbols and runes and the like...

Currently there are a few tables out front and to the side, actually residing in the wide grassed area between this older building and another. The grassy area is very well groomed, there are various herbal type bushes out, rosemary, sage, even a few nicely trimmed rosebushes, and a trellis going out back as well. There is a shade awning rolled out front and to the side. Seems the owners have made an outdoor dining area... And recently too as there's a sign out in front of the shop advertising its new outdoor dining experience, and dining in the garden.. See in all these reds and yellows of fall, there appears to be a lushly green area to the side and behind this building.

A few people are sitting outside, reading books, there's a young blond lady actually pushing a small cart with books on it, passing some out while behind the wrought iron fence of the official dining area, another lady is taking coffees, teas, confections as well as nicely prepared culinary dishes, all simple fare, considering the facilities inside. Meanwhile there's a tall rather curvy redhead chatting to an auburn-headed girl, dressed in what appears to be a traditional witche's outfit. Heck, even looking at the girl pushing cart she's wearing much of the same....

Shatterpoint has posed:
Being out during the day isn't Caroline's usual affair, now that she's back home. Normally, she tries to keep herself more or less off of the radar, but today is slightly different. Today, she's decided that she'll leave the Hall and, instead, make her way around Haven, to see if there's... Well, anything of interest happening. The chill of fall hides the cold of the air around her effectively enough. She almost blends right in. She looks like some sort of monochrome, photoshopped in afterthought from a bygone era, as if everything but her eyes was taken in high-definition black and white by an art student, and she was added to a real world scene around her... But that's a detail most won't necessarily pick up on.

Instead, she just walks the streets somewhat aimlessly, a creepy, but easily ignored phantasm just doing whatever she wished to at the time.

Invisible Woman has posed:
And one of the more normal sights is the fact that there's a woman in costume walking about a little girl who seems to be dressed up like the Inivisible woman of the fantastic four, while the mother seems to be dressed up like She Hulk, only she's not nearly as green as she needs to be. "You sure this is where you want to be, Valeria?" the taller blonde says....

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn isn't often coming south from Westchester during the day herself. But she's out for a day, clearing her head, getting on track. So she buzzes out beyond her usual area, flying of course. If people are dressed in halloween costumes around this suburb, she gets curious, and drops herself into the area. Perhaps some may think she just has a very nice costume herself.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
The tall redhead chats up a bit more with the auburn-headed girl in the witch's outfit for a brief bit more then suddenly the girl smiles at Kae and pivots about to run inside. Soon enough said girl is returning with a cart having food and drinks on it, and she begins setting them out. Kae turns now and wanders inside as well, she can be seen behind the counter at the indoor coffee station, fixing something up, or maybe stacking things in a cauldron? Kae returns a bit later with said cauldron under her arm and litterally floating a number of bowls behind her before she starts serving what's inside to the various patrons, much to many of their delight... Also, following behind the redhead is a dragon.... It's tiny, no bigger than a small cat, but the little creature is trapsing along behind the redhead like it hasn't a care in the world, happily following behind her then occasionally slapping at one of the strings hanging off the woman's light jacket... Then after Kae is done passing out bowls, suddenly, the little creature leaps and witha flap occupies Kaes shoulder, and mussing the redhead's hair up something aweful...

The woman glances his way and sighs.. "Oy, it's a good thing the guests like you..." One of such guests is a little kid who's now reaching for the little dragon, who's looking between Kae and the kid and Kae again before Kae looks to the child's parents... Both the father and mother smile and nod and Kae motions to the table. Fan glides over and lands there, where the kid immediately begins scritching the scaled critter under the chin... For those that might look closely at it, it might seem just a tiny bit off, theres runic patterns in the scales here and there, and the eyes aren't like normal eyes, instead they're glittering perfectly formed smooth amethysts instead of what one might think... Maybe the little critter is some kind of construct?

Kae looks up as she sees someone fly in now, the woman smirking a bit having recognized Megan from earlier. Kae then glances and notices the girl with the She-hulk and wordlessly opens the gate to the outside dining area and with a flourish motions for the two to enter, as she motions a trail of multi-colored lights follow her hand and linger there briefly before the woman stands upright and winks to the child's mother. Yup, Kae's playing it up a little bit, "Welcome to Enchanted Ground's first All Hallow's Eve." she says with a smile, not calling it Halloween, but by the traditional name...

Invisible Woman has posed:
"Mommy! It's a free-floating ectoplasmic manifestation!" The little girl says....and Sue just....facepalms. "yes, Valeria...it's a ghost." 'That's what I said mommy!' Then the girl realizes what she just said 'EEK!' and she runs to hide behind a fencepost. Sue starts to giggle at the delayed reaction. "Come on Valeria....you wanted to go this way." And the little girl trots through the opening in the gate, then 'I'm INVIVSIBLE!'. She calls out and starts to wander about the place. Sue follows a little bit and plays up the part that the little girl said she turned invisible....which she gets a kick out of.

Shatterpoint has posed:
Strolling down the road, Caroline pauses as she comes across a mother and her daughter apparently out early for the holiday festivities. She raises a brow at that, but doesn't comment or do much to draw their attention to herself. Instead, she follows along, as the pair find an... Intriguing cafe seemingly at random. Caroline isn't going to linger very long- especially as she doesn't eat or drink anymore- but she does note where this place is for future reference. After all, she does need to speak to someone more mystically inclined, if the League resources don't come through. Striding past, Caroline is an... Interesting sight for those magically inclined.

Looking at her with abnormal sight is like trying to watch a VHS tape with the tracking off. It is at best unsettling, if not... Absolutely unnerving, or terrifying. Maybe not enough to provoke a response, but it is incredibly abnormal, in almost every foreboding way.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn sees people in costumes, and now a dragon, and a kid saying she's invisible. Yup, it's Halloween. Flying herself, now just a few feet off the ground, she doesn't get TOO close to the dragon, but arms folded across herslef, smiling faintly, she takes some time to watch the dragon. Wondering just how close to 'real' this demonstration is. Since you never assume something like that is actually real, right?

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae notices the woman apparition curiously, she's seen crazy stuff in her past too, also she's got a lot of normals around as well, so the woman smiles and offers a bit of a wave to them. Then the little girl calls out that she's invisible and begins to mingle? Kae smiles a bit and suddenly has a cauldron in her hand, a brass one this time... "Ya know, I can't hand out candies to little girls who are invisible.." she says mildly, smiling just slightly as she looks around for the 'ivisible' girl. Kae winks at Susan at this point.. "And I happen to have some really nice hand made taffy, some rock candies, peppermints and thelike that I would like to give away, but you know how hard it is to find invisible children and all...."

Meanwhile at Megan's landing and all, the little dragon who was getting petting till candy started getting passed around is currently gnawing away on a hand made lolli-pop while now staring at Megan... It chirps cheerfully and tilts its head while clinging to the confection... Kae notices the chirp and the candy and sighs "Oooh boy he's gonna be hyper now.." She mutters. Meanwhile Tanya, the auburn-headed girl is moving around passing out more bowls, and setting what appears to be a cube of something into said bowl.. The cube then turns into some kind of soup, litterally depending on what the person wants at the time...

Tina, the blond headed girl can be heard wandering by "Love All Hallows day, it's when we can openly play..."

Invisible Woman has posed:
Suddenly the little girl appears at the mention of 'candy'. 'CANDY!'...and Little Valeria holds up her bag, bouncing. Sue chuckles and rolls her eyes. "You said the magic word. I'm gonna have to pace her candy consumption for the next.....year." She exaggerates a bit. "She's hyper enough as it is." She then looks to Valeria. "What're you supposed to say, Valeria?" Valeria stops bouncing. 'Twick or tweat!'

Shatterpoint has posed:
Caroline is silent throughout all of this, but it is, admittedly, a good thing for her to see. In the cesspool of violence and crime that she immerses herself, it is relatively easy to forget that there are happy, sane, normal people- to an extent, for all Caroline knows, the mother could actually turn invisible at whim, or something like that- in the world. She doesn't smile, of course, because that would be what a well-adjusted, non-edgy person would do. Instead, she calmly continues on her way, striding off to continue to observe the people of 'haven.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn laughs at the whole situation. "Oh goodness. Some fun being had here." Watching Valeria some, as she is doing a good job of drawing attention to herself through her own great enthusiasm. And because kids are fun in general.

That this dragon in question is eating candy makes her more curious. She comes closer, smiling, trying to get a good long look to see if we're actually looking at a cat or a dog in a dragon costume. That woulb e fitting.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Nope, the critter moves all too naturally, there's not even illusion surrounding it. It's a tiny 'living' dragon. The critter's head tilts the other way and tiny ears perk as its wings fan a bit and it wraps them around candy in question as though the little dragon was affraid to let go of the lolli pop....

Kae now glances to Valeria curiously, and hmmms... "Lezzee...." she smiles and says "Now hold out both hands... I'll show you a trick, and you'll get your treat..." She says and grins a bit... If the little girl does, Kae will grin a bit and wave her hand over the girl's hands, one time going right to left, then once left to right, and then tap her palms. As she lifts her hand, suddenly a very large plastic-wraped home made lolli pop would appear in the little girl's hands....

Kae grins and then produces a bit of paper from litterally thin air and offers it to Susan Storm... "Voucher for coffee... We have a candy hunt in the back, garden's en closed and I have staff watching over it for the children, if your girl would like to wander around the garden."

Invisible Woman has posed:
Valeria squeals with glee as the lollipop appears in her hands. "yay! She can turn things invisible like you, mommy!" She dances a bit and starts to rush to the back, but then she hands the lollipop to her mother, who puts it in a bag. "She does have a mind of her own." She then looks to Kaelyn. "It's quite a party you have here." She doesn't even address the fact that her daughter just said she can turn things invisible.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is definitely curious about the dragon. Flying a bit closer still, just a few feet away now. Though she glances to the parent and shopkeeper to laugh "Kids think if the weirdest things. Turning things invisible. Huh."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae looks to Susan and shrugs slowly "Wasn't invisible." she says simply... "Anyhoo, this place is warded and whatnot to protect everyone here." Kae says quietly, "Everything's perfectly safe. Anyhow, ya should maybe try some of our coffee or maybe get a sandwitch? We have a free All Hallows Eve menu, we like to provide for adults as well as the children... You can help your self to anything on the celebratory menu you like. There are crystal balls on the tables to watch your children in back or you can go back there and enjoy your self there too." Kae adds and grins "Like my assistant said, this is kind of our time to let our hair down and enjoy our selves..."

Invisible Woman has posed:
Sue smiles and nods. "I know it wasn't." She then holds up the lollipop. "She meant this." And the Lollipop turns invisible right before Kaelyn's eyes....stays disappeared before it returns. "I do hope you have a wonderful Halloween....and note you're the first ghost I've ever met. Certainly the friendliest too. And thank you for not fangirl-ing out." She then winks and heads into the house.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks as well, what she thught was a kid being fanciful turned out to be a real thing. She then watches as Susan and the little one wander off, before then looking back to the dragon again. Her feet finally hit the ground completely, and she squats a bit, leaning forward, getting an even BETTER look at the dragon, smirking as she does so. Very odd, very odd.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
The dragon gets very curious and gets closer and closer, nose going nigh to nose with Megan as it chirps yet again.

Kae glances to Susan and motions to where the other lady wandered off... "That was the ghost." Kae responds, then she grins at Susan "I'm a mage, or a witch if you prefer." She adds cheerfully. "My employees are my students too... Anyhow, normally we take part in some All halows Day Festivities and all, this time we decided to show our own..." she adds with a bit of a grin.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn laughs softly as the dragon gets so close. "Well look at you," she says softly. "Whatever costume you have on, it's a very good one. Or there's something very strange going on here."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae wanders her way now toward her 'pet' dragon and grins a bit before shrugging "Yah he's real enough... Kind of an accidental creation on my part." she says and shrugs a bit as Kae grins and waves for Fanhuil to climb up her arm. The tiny critter chirps, flaps and lights n Kae's shoulder before she looks to Megan... "Yah, anyhow, wel I don't think this is any stranger than anything else that goes on around this city...."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn snaps her fingers when Kaelyn walks over. She stands up. "Wait... you're the... you were one of the people the other day, who invaded the institute. Huh. So this is where you work?" she laughs.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae blinks "Invaded would imply a martial or otherwise aggressive posture... I was neither?" Kae says and grins a bit... "I just landed in the yard." she adds and shrugs before looking askanse at Fanhuile who is happily nomming on his lolli pop, crunch crunch crunch.... Kae glances to Megan again and grins "Anyhow, this is my store and cafe,, ya can shop for occult stuff, read a good book enjoy coffee or have a nice meal...

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn tilts her head, smiling as she then give a little shake. "Not exaclty. The institute is private property, and you weren't really invited. Sure, it was perfectly innocent, and that's why we warned you about not getting attacked, instead of, you know, attacking." With a snicker, she looks to the dragon again. "Thanks. So you're pretty open about this whole magic thing."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae tilts her head "Well there's that and the fact that the news kinda caught me fighting the DarkSeid Invasion and all.." Kae says and rubs at the back of her neck... "Got so worn down I couldn't keep my self out of the cameras."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn laughs softly. "Oh I see... well, I understand how that is." Still looking at the dragont hough. "So, you say you sell occult things? What.. exactly does that mean?"

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae grins.. "Supplies for those who wish to study the occult, or those who are practitioners of the art and all..." Kae says with a slight grin... "Books, supplies, herbs, tools for the trade, crystals, etcetera." Kae says with a grin and shrugs... "Also, some of the best coffee and farm to plate dishes in the area."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles faintly. "Oh I see... so most of it might not be magic, but just thinks people associate with magic. I might look anyway for anything interesting... Very nice, thank you."
