Cast of Characters: Miss Martian, Cindy Larsen

Miss Martian has posed:
Yet another fall day. Megan's looking for something interesting to do with her day, and so she's headed out to the backyard, looking about at the leaves.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy is jogging around in the yard, just to get herself some exercise! Just as Megan comes out the door, Cindy is running past, and almost crashes right into the Martian woman! "Oh!" the leopard-girl exclaims, twisting about to avoid hitting Megan! She stumbles off balance and tumbles to the ground, hitting it with a soft thud and and "oof"! A moment later, though, sees Cindy hopping back to her feet, giving the taller woman an apologetic, embarassed smile. "I'm so sorry," she says, dusting herself off, "I didn't see you there!"

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan blinks in surprise, and looks over. "Oh! Are you okay?" She does stare a little; Cindy's the first cat-person she's ever seen. She offers a hand, though a bit too late, as the other girl pops up. "It's okay, you're the one who fell!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy blushes when she notices the way that Megan is looking at her, as evidenced by the faint red tint coloring the insides of her ears. She's gotten a lot of looks from people before, but most of them are not so curiosity-driven. The extended hand is taken, though, and Cindy gives it a shake. "I've been hit harder," she says, offering the other girl a friendly, if shy, smile. "My name is Cindy, I don't think we've met before." Cindy, of course, has been at the school for some time, but she keeps to herself most of the time.

Miss Martian has posed:
The redhead smiles, and shakes the hand. "I'm new here myself. My name's Megan. It's nice to meet you!" She smiles. "Your mutation looks great!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
The compliment only makes Cindy flush brighter, her ears folding back to try to hide it. "Oh! Um, th-thank you," she stammers, her tail twitching behind her, "I, uh... It was kind of a shock, I mean... The changes I went through." She fidgets a little, obviously not used to receiving compliments, and catches her tail to stroke her hand over it, a form of nervous habit. "You, um, you wouldn't believe how much maintenance it takes, though," she says, managing a smile. "You, uh... You look really great, yourself," the leopardess stammers out, "Where are you from?"

Miss Martian has posed:
"Um." Megan says, a little awkwardly. "Well, I'm actually an alien." She smiles a little awkwardly. "When did your mutation manifest?" She smiles as she sees the tail massage, and giggles a little. "That is so cute."

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Poor Cindy's being called cute now, and the leopardess looks like she just might melt from it. She bites her lip through a big smile, a pronounced fang peeking over it as he turns her head to try to hide it. "S-Stop it~," she says, fidgeting with her tail some more, though her tone is something of a playful one. She obviously likes the compliments. It actually does a good job of distracting Cindy from the fact that Megan said she is an alien a moment ago! "A couple of years ago, um..." Cindy chews her lower lip a little more. "I went through a lot of changes after I turned twelve. It's been really helpful to be here, to feel... Well, somewhat normal." She manages another bright, happy smile. "So, um... You're really an alien?" she asks, "You're not like... messing with me, are you?" She glances around then, a little nervous that this might just be some prank suddenly.

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan looks a little confused, but still beams at the tail-fidgeting. "I am." She lets herself shapeshift, as her skin goes green. "See?" she demonstrates, though keeps it to just her skin color shapeshift.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
The shapeshifting draws a sharp gasp from the leopard-girl, and her jaw drops. She gawks, wide-eyed for a moment. "You're a Martian!" she exclaims excitedly, "That is so -awesome-!" There's a small fit of giggles and she bites her lip again, amidst a big, broad grin this time. "I, um... I've always wanted to meet somebody from space," she says, smoothing her hands down her skirt briefly, letting her tail swing out behind her again. She seems giddy with excitement, trying to contain herself within the inadequately petite package that she is. "Can you do other stuff?" she asks, "Like, can you fly? And read minds?" She gasps and goes wide eyed. "Please don't read my mind!"

Miss Martian has posed:
THAT gets a very surprised look from Megan. "I...how...did you know?" She asks, blushing a little herself. "I can...but I wouldn't read anyone's mind without their permission!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy blushes again and shrugs her shoulders. "I, um, I do a lot of reading," she says, "Sometimes I get into things that I, um... that I probably shouldn't..." She bites her lip and smiles again. "Um, d-don't tell anybody I told you that, please... And, uh, thank you for that." Her tail swishes again, and she fidgets a bit. "I, uh... I don't know what to say," she admits, "I've never met an alien before. It's so cool!" She actually can't help giving a little hop, fists balled up, and an excited 'squee' from escaping her.

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan looks surprised. "I didn't think there was much written down about Martians!" But the hop gets her to grin. "Well, I've never met a catgirl before either! I think you look really neat!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy could feel her heart thumping in her chest, she's so excited from meeting Megan. Her tail gives another stiff twitch. "Well, there really isn't," she says, "Just... well, the green skin gave it away, and you saying you are an alien... I mean, I would have just assumed your power was changing your skin pigment, or that you were a shapeshifter or something like that, but..." She shrugs a shoulder, with another excited little smile. "I wanna know -everything- about you," she says, "I, um." She blushes again, awkwardness kicking back in. "S-sorry, I'm being, um, overexcited. I don't mean to be so, uh, s-so... enthusiastic!"

Miss Martian has posed:
"No, it's okay! This is actually kind of great! Most of the people I've met here so far have been all tied up in their own issues, and it's been hard to find people to just hang out with!" She peeks at Cindy's hands. "Do you have claws? Do they go in and out like a cat?" She seems just as curious. "And I'm happy to talk about my abilities, too. I /am/ a shapeshifter."

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy giggles and nods her head! She strikes up an Eartha Kitt Catwoman-style pose with her hands, flexing them to extend her claws. "Rrrowr~," she intones playfully. They look like pretty sharp claws, in fact! "I have them on my feet, too. Without my shoes on, I can climb trees really easily, just like a cat." Then there's an even bigger grin on the leopard-girl's face. "It... really is," she agrees, "I, um... I've never really had anyone to just hang out with around here." She chews her lip a moment, and then with another excited squeal she throws her arms around Megan's shoulders, leaning up on her toes to give her a hug!

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan looks interested. "I'm surprised you bother with the shoes. I wouldn't!" Megan catches Cindy, and gives her a hug back, gliding up into the air with her, with a smile. "Well, we can definitely hang out! It's nice to have someone to be friends with!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy wasn't expecting to be pulled up into the air, and she lets out a surprised "Woah!" when she's pulled off the ground! Her limber legs wrap around Megan's waist, the leopardess clinging to her now! She's huffs a few breaths and looks around, blinking, wide-eyed. "Wow! Haha, I've never flown before," she says, grinning at Megan, "You're so awesome!"

Miss Martian has posed:
Megan holds her so that she won't fall, and laughs. "Well, we can go flying any time you like." The Martian smiles. "But here, I'll put you down now." She glides down, to carefully set Cindy down. "I'll have to get back to classes soon, but we should hang out more!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy nods her head, looking down as they're lowered to the ground again. "I'd... I'd like that a lot," she says, and she lets go with her legs to let them touch the ground again. Once she's on her feet, Cindy lets go of Megan's shoulders and smiles up at her. "Likewise," she says, "But... It was great to meet you, Megan," she says, "We're -definitely- gonna hang out more!" She giggles, her tail swishing. "I'll, um, I'll see you later, then!" She gives Megan a little wave, before she heads off to her class.
