Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore is riding in the folds of a car-sized paper airplane, like the ones that you might have thrown across a middle school classroom. She circles and swoops down to a certain street - the paper plane iplodes into a crumpled up small paper plane which she grabs out of the air taking a couple of steps to slow down along the sidewalk, then she wads it into a ball and drops it in a trash can. She sniffs at the air and makes a face, stopping to look at a mural of some kind of a tree with some distaste, then steps up to run her fingers across the edge with a shudder.

Origami has posed:
A few days ago, a boy was rescued here.. trapped in the wall. He came back.. not quite right. Mostly okay, sure, but.. needing a bit of observation, maybe. This mural appeared when he was rescued. And the place is.. off, now. Somehow. People are avoiding it and they aren't quite sure why.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen steps out of the Metropolis Museum of Natural History with an annoyed look on his face. The doctor having been to the plae three times this week. It's getting a little old having to track down, or suddenly appear in the building in order to have a conversation with any number of differently kind of mystical folk that have been appearing here.

He's grown weary, "I'll have to get a rolodex of wizards and witches." The man steps down to the sidewalk and spots Miyako not only land, but throw her ride away. "Can you not recycle that?" He asks her as he stands next to the woman as she examines the mural.

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore flicks her glance to the side. "If there was a recycling bin here." She runs her finger along a line and shudders, flinching away. "How did he even get the paper into there?"

She sighs, then turns to face the new arrival and look you over, reaching into her messenger bag for a botle of prescription hand lotion which she rubs into her scarred fingers. "Hi, you are..?" She smiles some and bites her lip, looking around faintly creeped out from standing in the middle of the weird spot.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I mean, could you not use that paper again?" Stephen asks, lifting a single eyebrow before he turns his attention fully to the mural and the towards Miyako.

"I am Doctor Stephen Strange. And somewhat like you... I can use magic." The doctor reports, canting his head slightly, "Though I sense something peculiar with your mystics."

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore ohs.. "Not very well.. it's all crumpled up. It doesn't fold very well anymore at all.. I don't know why." She blinks a little bit. "..Peculiar? I hear things like that a lot. Well, the last time, it was 'Are you serious? You're going to save us with a /paper tree/?' Phhht."

She shivers again and half-runs a few steps toward you to get out of the shadow of that mural, then shivers. "I tried fixing this, but I don't know how. I've seen this before, but.. not like this."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen crosses his arms, leans back to get a better view of the mural and then squints his grey eyes. "So, you tried fixing this? Tell me what you tried, and if you can, tell me why I didn't work." Stephen asks, looking at the mural still, and not getting the same feeling that something is wrong that Miyako is. "And then, we'll find a way to solve the problem."

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore hmms. "I was flying, and I smelled something really.. off. So I came down and looked. There was some cracks on the sidewalk that looked like something heavy hit it, and there was some ink on it. Maybe it was in a pattern once, I couldn't tell anymore. And there was a nural of a boy cowering away from some.. animal.. things. They looked like a weird Picasso thing. And there was a symbol drawn on the side of it in pencil. Maybe magic, I don't know enough, but it felt like something somebody else wrote. The place felt wrong." She looks it over. "Then I looked away and looked back, and the animals and the boy weren't in the same place I thought they were before. So I took a picture.." She pulls out a phone and flips through the pictures on it a bit, then hands it over.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen listens to the story Miyako tells him and then looks down at the picture of the phone that was presented to him. "Interesting." Stephen says, before lifting the phone up between him and the mural, and then lowering it again in order to compare the images. He extends his hand out with the phone back to the girl while he steps closer to the artwork. "Did you try anything else other than just recording it for later examination?"

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore says, "After a bit, I couldn't figure anything out, so I got something to eat, 'cause I was hungry. When I got back, there was someone else looking at the picture. He reached in and pulled the boy out, and the pencil drawing fell off, and it got really really wrong, so I put a warding flower down. Then he put the flower inside the mural like that, and swept up the ink and the cracks, but it has been like this. I keep checking, because usually my paper stuff falls apart when I am away from it."

Origami has posed:
The picture looks totally different from what the mural looks like now. A boy in shades of blue paint, and cubist animals avoiding the light from the streetlight that is in a pool of white on the wall. The sidewalk looks heavily cracked in the picture. Now not so much.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen continues to look at the mural and leans closer to get a better look at it, and with his hand unfolding away from his chest, the doctor presses his finger tips against it, touching the lighter part, where the street lamp would be touching the sidewalk.

"That is peculiar, umm... name. What's your name girl?"

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore ohs, "Miyako. I call myself Origami if there are aliens attacking, or something. The news already knows who I am. My.. first spell went off a little unexpectedly in front of a news camera, after they interviewed me."

The mural no longer has kid or animals, just this big... hedge. Which is a complex basic ward against magical intrusion. Something broke through reality here... in the air in front of the mural, then it went through the wall. And left a hole there, of sorts. Of course, everyone has been concentrating on the mural, because of the wall. But since the hole started outside the wall, the place still feels creepy.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen's hand discovers the focal point of the mystic disturbance. "So, you're still awfully new to this whole, being a witch, thing, aren't you?" Stephen asks of Miyako while he holds his hand perfectly still in the air. His head turning back to face Miyako as he waits for her answer.

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore tilts her head. "Am I a 'witch'? I don't really know WHAT I am. I never read any books or anything. I just pick up a piece of paper, and I get ideas about what I could do, and I do one, and it works. I don't know why it works."

She watches what you are doing, sniffing a bit. "Um.. Do.. do you want me to do anything? I.. That used to be one of my origami flowers. I'm not sure how he put it in the wall." Just because 'strange magically inclined people start doing things' sort of turns out with things happening unexpectedly and suddenly sometimes, she opens her messenger bag with one hand and brings it back with a square sheet of origami paper lightly held in her fingers.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I just want you to stay back, and keep an eye out for cops and demons." Stephen says before he straightens back up looks over his shoulder at Miyako. "You can slay demons, right? Or at least contain, or deter them?" Stephen asks as if it was part of magic 101.

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore blinks, "I.. assume so, I did okay on alien invaders and giant worms and stuff." She glances around a bit for the aforementioned cops and such and bites her lip, trying to decide if there is anything to prepare that would be useful and not backfire.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Just keep your eye out." Stephen says before he lifts his hand back up to the split and slowly his hand falls into it, seemingly eaten by the nothingness. "Huh." He says idly before he steps even closer and the entire man simply disappears into the other-world.

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore blinks. A lot. "....Uh." She stands up really straight and fusses with her hands a bit, then bites her lip and looks over at the wall in some alarm and looks around. Right. Wait here. Keep an eye out. You can do this. She never realized before just how ominous the word "Huh." could really be. Especially because she really, really wants to know where he *went*...
