Trip the Light Plastastic!
Date of Scene: 09 November 2017
Location: Upper West Side, New York City
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Silk, Plastic Man, Caim Kataras

Silk has posed:
The Upper West Side of Manhattan as long been a place for well-to-do artist types to live and work. Who knows how many struggling actors live in this part of the city with very little stage experience and far more wait-staff experience.

However, there is something more troubling coming through the city today- a man dressed in vibrant colors and carrying a large multi-colored gun speeds through the city as police vehicles follow close behind. "You'll never catch the Artiste!" he shouts as he levels his gun and fires.

Globs of oil-paint fly out from the end of his cannon, peppering over the window of the police vehicle which suddenly swerves and crashes into a light post. "With the greatest of Jackson Pollock paintings in my position my collection of modern art will soon be complete!" He laughs out, firing his weapon at buildings as he passes.

Plastic Man has posed:
Seeing the car crash from a block down, a man clad in a nondescript.. if.. shiny.. black overcoat stops and watches. He pushes back a black shiny ballcap, to reveal.. goggles? "Awe man.. and I was enjoyin my day off." He says and looks around 'discreetly' in reality it's SUUPER Obvious. He grips his coat and 'rips' it apart, revealing..

A Superman shield?

The outfit folds in on itself and moldes and shifts, Superman emerging from the coat. Or.. out of the coat. It's confusing. "This looks like a job for Superman!" He shouts, raising both fists and going running down the sidewalk making swooshing sounds. He's pretty light on his feet too.

Silk has posed:
The people of New York are used to seeing a lot- but seeing a guy mold and shift and turn into Superman is a little odd, even for them. A small child tugs at her mother's coat, "Why is Superman saying woosh, and not stopping the bad man, Mommy?" she wonders- "I don't think that's Superman, honey." the mother replies.

But! Up in the sky! What is that, its a bird! Its a Plane! Its a woman swinging from lengths of spider silk!

"Woah there, shouldn't you be playing paint ball somewhere else?" she asks to the paint-firing perpetrator. "Who are you?! Some new pesky hero? Trying to horn in on Spider-Man's shtick?!" the Artiste asks before he levels his paint cannon towards Silk, who fires a blast of organic webbing into the barrel just as the man pulls the trigger. FLUMP! No paint escapes, "Aaagh!" The Artiste shouts in frustration as he begins to ungum his gun, "Drive faster, Bob!" he shouts to his driver, who nods. "On it, boss!" The car begins to pull away as Silk swings again from another building- trying to keep up with the sooped-up vehicle.

Plastic Man has posed:
Plastic Man shifts out of his Superman get up, into the much more familiar unitard and goggles. as he runs, his head turns to face the little girl and her mom. And his head stays behind, connected to the body with a steadily stretching length of.. neck? His face gets huge and he grins at them. "Superman isn't the only guy who can get the job done. Like so!" He calls, and his head snaps back to his body. The momentum launching all of him into a suddenly boxer glove shaped fist, crashing into the back window of the car. "Hi guys.. mind if I drive for a sec?" Those around the car can see his body filling the available space. Bob's face getting smushed against the driver side window.

Caim Kataras has posed:
Caim is watching all the goings on from afar. He seems to be interested in the battle and holds his cane near him. He remains silent as he looks to Silk. When plastic man comes and begins to help he watches this too. He studies the various heroes, silently.

Silk has posed:
With another Thwip! of webbing, Cindy lands on the top of the car just as Plastic Man bursts through the back window. "Hey! Be careful in there!" she shouts, as she manages to effortlessly balance on top of the moving vehicle. Staying upright is part of her very being, it seems, keeping equilibrium without a second thought.

Inside the vehicle, the Artiste and his henchman, Bob, soon mooshed against the glass and floor with a shout, "Stop this! I am the Artiste!" cries the villain, "I am without peer! My vision of the future of art is impossible to ignnoorrre!"

"Ohno, Ohno. Ohno!" Silk says as the vehicle rockets towards an intersection where there's a red light, and vehicles crossing in front of the group which has gotten themselves into a vehicle that's only speeding up as Bob is forced up against the glass. "We need to turn!" Silk shouts, as a strand of webbing goes out to grab the edge of a stout building, her feet locked to the top of the car and she begins to pull. "Right turn on red, right? Come on, come on.." she shouts down, "I don't know how to drive!"

Plastic Man has posed:
Plastic Man panicks for a second. There's a lot of him in here.. Bob's fighting back.. the Artiste is.. well.. Artisting.. is that a thing? Eh.. whatever. It is now. "OK!" Plas calls out, and engulfs the steering wheel in his mouth. Steering with his tongue. One massive goggled eye pressed up against the windshield. "Ah Gahh kick.." PLas mumbles out to Cindy. And the car does turn right. The insane clown car that it is.

Silk has posed:
Zoom! The vehicle makes the right turn, although its a bit wide and other vehicles are forced to swerve out of the way. "Oh no!" Silk says again, as she looks down, "Stop the vehicle! We need to stop!"

It'll be tough to stop the vehicle now, with bob's foot jammed against the accelerator- the brakes are pressed too, causing smoke to rise from the tires as the 'clown car' begins to rocket down another road.

Unfortunately, Cindy's lack of knowledge on the rules of the road is showing rather obviously. That right turn was down a one-way street. "Oh Jeeze!" Cindy calls out as vehicles swerve and turn out of the way. "We need to stop!"

Caim Kataras has posed:
Caim moves, running ahead of the car. With their brakes on their speed is somewhat slower, and he was faster then most vehicles. He then grunts as he groans and tackles to clown car, using his speed and strength to overwhelm the car and flip it onto its side.

Plastic Man has posed:
Plastic Man spits out the steering wheel and his bulk vanishes as quickly as it appeared, releasing Bob's foot from the gas. Also almost as quickly. Plas slams on the brakes, squealing to a stop , and just barely bumping Caim, standing in the way. "Let's do that again!!" He shouts, resuming his normalish shape in the passenger seat.

Silk has posed:
Two things happen simultaneously- Plastic Man hits the breaks- the car starting to squeal to a stop as Caim bodily tackles the vehicle and turns it over on the side. The crush of glass and metal is obvious- and inside, Bob and the Artiste are a little rattled.

Silk, for her part, plays the log-roller, gracefully stepping along the surface of the vehicle as it is turned on its side- ending up perched on one of the doors as she looks into a broken window.

Twhip! Thwip! Strands of webbing are pushed out of her fingers and she wraps the two villains up completely in a matter of moments- trapping them in silk cocoons. "We did it!" she exclaims, with a grin- although the grin is hidden behind her mask.

Plastic Man has posed:
Plastic Man's head comes sneaking up out of whatever hole i the car is facing upright and nods at her, even as he's trying to extricate himself fromt he overturned vehicle. "That we did kid." He tells hern, body following his head out of the same hole and after a moment, he's standing on top of the car with her.

"Anyone have a phone? Call the cops for these two?

Caim Kataras has posed:
Caim grunts as he straightens his clothes, trying to look like he did nothing to the car. He regains his cane and pulls his phone out to begin calling. He then offers the phone to Silk to let her talk to the police.

Silk has posed:
"Oh. Well. Aren't they on the way already?" Silk asks, noting that police are already arriving on scene. Afterall, one of their people had been put into a pole of some kind not a moment before. "Anyways, nice to meet the two of you." Silk says, "I'm Silk, by the way!" she says with a grin as the police hurry towards the vehicle. "Anyways, I should go before the police..er.. to not get in the way." she says, as she twhips into the sky, a string of silk coming from her fingertips before she's up, up, and Away! Once more rocketing towards a taller building where she can watch the city and be fully free from the fear of handcuffs.

Plastic Man has posed:
Plastic Man raises an eyebrow. Normal raise. "Okie Dokie.. I'll hang out, make sure these guys end up in Cuffs. Cya."

Caim Kataras has posed:
Caim just looks to the various people and shrugs. He then looks to Plastic man. "If you dont mind making some extra money I wouldnt mind hiring you as a bodyguard." He says as he gives a card with his contact information on it to plastic man and begins to walk offf.
