Synopsis: After a combat scene, Cyberdragon is injured. SHIELD responds to help and call for reinforcements in the form of an angel.
Cast of Characters: Cyberdragon, Melinda May, Black Widow (Romanoff), Castiel

Cyberdragon has posed:
The disturbance and the battle at The Alchemax Building lasted for a short time, but regaurdless, it wasn't gentle. Infact it brought down the entire building. Cyberdragon battered knocked around, and injured managed to escape after taking one hit that broke part of his back, and when the beams started falling on him also did more damage. Not to Cyber but to the host john who was barely awake when he rocketed away from the scene of the battle.

And of course John passed out as he lost the plasma, strength and was over come with john's pain. And as a result he tumbles from the air and impacts a shipping container punching through the wall breathing deeply and groaning. Cyber gasping out as he looks down, to see the injury he just got. Through the right side of his chest is a metal rod, about a half inch thick.

Cyber is already trying to push into john's body to stop the bleeding and stablize him...before attempting to deal with this new compounded injury...

Melinda May has posed:
Pretty much the moment the battle began, SHIELD was aware of it. But, as is the case with most large organizations, their response time is not instantaneous. Whole squads of recovery, medical, and similar specialists are mobilized, and they starts converging on the site of the battle about the same time as the first of the city's emergency responders arrive.

Piloting one of the quinjets, May sets the bird down neatly between a row of shipping containers and waits for the team she's just ferried over to disembark. Toggling through some of her jet's various systems, she stops when something pings and goes back to look again. And what she sees has her cussing in Mandarin and hastily putting the jet's engines on idle and launching herself out of the pilot's seat and out of the quinjet.

Tapping her commlink with one hand as she runs, she says tersely, "Romanoff, May. To my location if you have a chance." That's not an order, but a request. An urgent one.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Roger that. On the way. ETA ten seconds."

The low voice of the Widow is almost muffled by the sound of an engine. She was already on her way to the scene, coming from a different direction as she was at home when the situation went down. Sitting astride her motorcycle, she has the machine pushed to the limits. The engine screams as though in pain. That scream announces her arrival just before she comes to a stop near the Quinjet.

It takes a moment for her to see May running in another direction. Instantly, she is off the bike and running after her fellow agent.

Castiel has posed:
Castiel decided, after his last day's adventures on the subway, that he was done with subways for a time. He'd taken up where Mercy Thompson had left off: he'd taken himself to the movies. He wasn't entirely certain what this one was called, but so far he'd seen three men die to a runway speedster, several couples fornicate, and heard words that might have made Crowley blush. And he didn't understand one bit of it.

Around him, people were cheering and making lewd comments inbetween the cheers. At one point the angel thought he'd figured it out, but clearly he had not as he'd tried a cheer of his own, only to have been yelled at, and a handful of some grease laden substance thrown at him. The smell was enticing to the body, and made his mouth water, but he did not have any of his own. When he'd tried to take a handful from the bucket beside him, the woman who owned it had called him a 'perv' and gotten up.

He'd been grumbling under his breath that he wasn't a perv - what was a perv, he wondered? - but an angel, when a bright light had been shone in his face, and a bored, pimple faced youth said, "This way, sir. You're bothering the other patrons. I have to ask you to leave."

Cyberdragon has posed:
John's unconsious as Cyber is struggling to keep his host unconsious and alive at the same time. Inside the shipping crate that has a hole is Cyberdragon, his right leg bent at a bad un natural angle, Meaning the Host's leg is broken. Through the right side of his chest he has a metal rod that is covered in some blood and torn tissue. Cyber while he looks other wise unhurt is holding the bar and with a growl it just snaps off in his hand leaving a smaller protustion through his chest.

As medical personell come over he says, "I need a sedative now! Human, male, weight 180 pounds..." he snarls out. Already he can feel john starting to stir awake. If john wake sup he'll be in pain, scared, and if that happens it could cause an ejection as there is another snap of metal as Cyber pulls up stiffly with the other side of the rod through his back.

Melinda May has posed:
May catches up with the medical personnel just as Cyberdragon starts snarling for assistance. "Do it," she snaps at the nearest paramedic, before clambering into the shipping container herself. While John and CD's appearance might cause others to hesitate, she clearly has no such problems. "Hey, hey. Stay still. Let the medics do their jobs."

Of course, once she sees the amount of blood here and the severity of John's injuries, she mutters to herself darkly, then says in Vietnamese, "Ban nên lang nghe, Castiel. Den dây. Hien nay." Switching to English, she says into her comm, "Romanoff, make sure all non-essential personnel are clear." She has no idea how Cyberdragon might react to people crowding around.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Reaching the containter, Natasha frowns when she sees the state of John inside. "Everyone extra out. Two of you inside, no more," she says in a voice that doesn't allow for any arguments. One medic gives her a look but when he sees her eyes, he quickly does as asked. "Two inside, one runner for anything they need that they don't already have."

Then she moves to the outside of the container and makes sure no one else tries to crowd in and get a peek.

Castiel has posed:
Castiel is a bristle of irritation as he's seen out. Not that he cares about the movie.. it's principle. Not that the pimply faced youth cared. The boy was paid to see people didn't leave bodies in the seats, kept it mostly legal and in the back corners of the theatre, and this: escorting troublemakers out. "I understand, sir. But we have a no-tolerance policy. Lady complains, I have to escort you out. There you go. Don't trip on the steps. Have a nice day and come again to Tri-Burrough Theatres. Open all major Holidays, including Christmas."

And with that, Cestiel was unceremoniously left in the alleyway behind the theatre..

Things might have gone very differently had May not chosen right then to test out his word to her. But she did. And it sounded urgent. Urgent enough he didn't look first, merely went from *here* to *there*, appearing beside the woman, brow already furrowed in concern. "I was watching a movie," he felt obligated to complain.

Cyberdragon has posed:
As Cyber brings his arm up he allows his material to flow back exposing human flesh. "He's starting to wake up, if he does he's dead!" The dragon says and then as he lifts his arm up, "it's clean, inject it." and the medic for a moment was about to swab it, But the snarl makes him place the needle against the inside of john's arm and inject it directly into the host. Even in this condition, a simple injection is beyond his ability. And finally as the sedative starts to effect the host keeping him out Cyber starts to relax. Now that John is in less danger of waking up as he says. "Back spine injuried, right leg, compound fracture, collapsed right lung...." he says

Slowly begins to give some additional medical information. Blood type all that. And right now Cyber seems to be much more calm...

Melinda May has posed:
May tries to help Cyberdragon settle John, knowing their locale is far from ideal. But, if Castiel heard...

She actually flinches at the man's sudden appearance this time, but is too focused on the injured symbiotic pair to deal with his complaint right now. "Castiel, tell me your healing ability can help here."

If the rumpled angel actually manages to save John's life, she'll go buy out an entire showing of whatever movie he'd been watching so he can see it again without interruption.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
Outside the storage container, Natasha isn't aware of the sudden arrival within. She keeps her attention to those on the outside, allowing only the one runner to go back and forth if the medics within need something. Otherwise, she's simply playing guard.

Castiel has posed:
Whatever the angel may or may not have been intending to say in reply to Agent May, it's lost in the matter she presents before him. Now he looks about the space he is in and sees the injured man. The very critically injured man. It's not without the realms of his abilities, but it's also not going to be easy.

Despite his appearance, the oversized trench coat, the rumpled features and mussed up hair, he is, by nature, able to move with grace when he chooses, and he chooses. His approach of the injured John a fluidity of motion, the angel kneeling beside the man, a hand placed upon him to better gauge the injuries that he will be tending to.

Cyberdragon has posed:
Slowly the bar starts to slip from his chest and as it slides out some blood pours out, not much, maybe a shot glass worth of dirty blood. A few peices of rusted metal also fall out. As there is no hole as he groans to slowly just brace himself. Kneeling on his hands and knees wings absorbing into his body making more support to help the body remain intact.

"He's stable,"

Then looking up at the angle as he says, "Healing?" he swallows hard or at least seemingly. "My host's chest has suffered the greated injury." he says not sure but knows the power of magical healing, right now, Cyber's holding John together. For now at least, if the most serious injury can be healed the rest can in time as well.

Allowing the man, angle to touch John's skin, he's under sedation. Has a hole in the right side of his chest, a collapsed right lung, minor blood loss. Two cracked vertibra, thankfully his spinal cord is not damaged. And a severely broken right leg. As well as large number of bumps, bruises, and such. But other wise being held together by the Suit, as the suit is keeping him from bleeding out, and his lung from staying collapsed.

Melinda May has posed:
May takes Cyberdragon's words as the cue to get people clear, like the two medics that she picked to stay close. Stepping back out of the container, she looks at Nat then tilts her head back toward the inside, silently asking the woman to take her place. For her own part, she dashes back to the quinjet she'd left sitting there, and resumes her piloting duties.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
As the medics come out with May, Natasha arches a brow. May having business to continue with isn't the strange part. It's the medics leaving the injured man inside alone. She doesn't question, merely nods back to her fellow agent them turns and steps into the storage container.

She almost draws her gun. Almost. But May apparently knew this person was in here so she hesitates. Moving further into the room, she eyes Castiel warily as he rests that next to John, hand on the young man's chest. A frown mars her expression as she watches very closely.

Castiel has posed:
It's all a matter of triage. A thing his nature tends to without any actual conscious thought. "The injuries are severe," he notes, not unaware that May has left, and another entered the room, but there is no need that he can sense to feel alarm. "One wonders if it would not be a gentler mercy to allow nature to take its course."

The words do not stop him from healing, though, both hands employed now. It will not be an easy matter to save this one. The damage is severe. Certainly life-threatening. And compounded, injury upon injury so that it must be tended in layers. It is a misnomer to think that healing merely *occurs*, suddenly going from broken to fixed. There are still certain natural orders that must be followed... even if those orders are of the arcane or angelic sort.

The angel hunkers down into the seriousness of what he does now. Silent as he tends to wounds that another /would/ merely let take their course. If only because Agent May has asked him to, and her trusts of the woman that she would not ask if it were not necessary.

Cyberdragon has posed:
At the Very moment Castiel mentions letting nature take it's course Cyber reacts instantly his tail lashes out trying to wrap around Castiel's head and throat. This is not a tender gentle hold, it's a tight painful constriction as blades almost push into Castiel's throat as the dragon bare shis teeth. "If you let my host die... So do you!" The Dragon's teeth at bared and claws elongate, growing serrated.

The Dragon's wings once more stretch out as the ends of them form jagged spears. The Suit, the Dragon cares for and protects his host ready to kill to protect him.

Buy right now given the seriousness of his host's injuries he will hold the man or being hostage...

Finally as the injures start to heal, slowly the dragon's matieral slides out of the host's body, the dragon still willing to kill the angel if he allows his host to die...

Castiel has posed:
There are all sorts of ways that Castiel /could/ react to the attack on him, including merely not being there - all of which would have made the contriction upon his being and the threat to his life terribly moot. Except he /was/ healing the 'host', and his unpreciptious departure likely would leave John to die.

"You would do well to rethink your hostility," Castiel manages, keeping his cool quite possibly only because of May.. and because he didn't have any intention of letting John die.

Cyberdragon has posed:
Cyberdragon doesn't know the full range of Castiel's powers, or what he truly is, "I have one concern, one concern only. My host's survival." and right now as he can feel the injuries become less and less severe. Finally Cyber is able to slowly withdraw from the inside of his host the lung resuming it's normal structure no longer needing to be supported as time ticks by. Moments turn into to minutes, as the wound closes and finally with the most life threatening injuries taken care of, The dragon seemingly collapses onto the ground as the host is no longer in mortal jeopordy. The tail slowly uncoils and relaxes. Cyber clearly doesn't like the responce of the angel, so he counters at this. "If this was meant for nature to take it's course then why do you have intelligence, but to defy the natural order, and help when you can...."

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"We're all on the same side here," comes the warning tone from the redhead still in the storage container with them. Seeing that the dragon has withdrawn, Natasha can only guess that the glowing stuff going on involves healing of some sort. Thus why medics left the area. She still doesn't know the stranger but he seems to be on the side of the angels so she is trusting in May's decision. How he got in here, that's another question. He didn't get past her.

"Keep doing whatever you are doing, please. And thank you for your efforts," she says to Castiel, moving over toward Dragon and trying to place a gentle hand on his arm. "Just relax and let him continue."

Castiel has posed:
The host might not be in jeopardy, but John's not out of the woods yet. The minutae of details in the healing remain, and while they aren't taxing per se, they do require his attention. And when it is done, he will be somewhat drained. It is what it is. "Then we agree," Castiel rumbles mildly of CD's concern for his host. His own attachment to his own host body rather firm. Had Cyberdragon killed his host, Castiel would have remained.. but the body would no longer be suitable to inhabit. It was yet another thing that had stayed his hand. That, and he was of free will. Just because it would have been kinder did not mean it was the path he had chosen to take.

"There are more things than you understand between heaven and earth," the angel intones. "Defiance is an act with consequences. Just because a thing can be done does not mean it should." Such as.. had the host's brain been damaged, the body could be repaired, but the mind would have been gone. Not a huge matter in his own case, but for the other creature? Perhaps it might have been an issue. Not to mention, Castiel was more familiar with such choices than CD could ever appreciate.

Nat's words only get a distracted, "I do not need thanks. I have made a pact with your Agent May. I would live up to it."

Cyberdragon has posed:
Finally the Cracks in the spine are tended to as is the leg and Cyber whinces and snarls as the leg starts to straighten out. Almost as if he himsel fis in pain. Then again linked to John as he is, chances are Cyber can feel John's pain as his own.

Oh how little is known of Cyber by Castile, he's been on earth for twenty thousand years. Thousands of hosts, some of them, injuried in the head in such a way they simply lingered for days or weeks as the body slowly shut down. Watching them die slowly physically nothing to help or heal them.

Finally with John healed, Cyber relaxes, himself as tired as Castile. Linkd inside John's body, connecting with the material inside of john's both has left more deposited. Moving inside working to help reinforced microcracks and tears in the muscle and body helping it heal, and begin to reinforce those bones and muscles.

Cyber is adapting, the hints of an evolution is in the works.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
The continued healing is watched in a detached way by Natasha. She doesn't speak for the moment, simply observing as broken parts mend together. The man has some amazing powers, she can say that much. Otherwise, she simply waits.

Castiel has posed:
What Castiel does not know of Cyber is much the same as what he does not understand of Castiel. Which may be a grand shame, or only a great irony - two beings with such similar experiences, though, in truth, Castiel has not had so great a many occassions to inhabit human hosts. He has for time, as long as it has existed, found his angelic being sufficient to most things. Most, that is, until he chose to Fall.

He does not do shoddy work. To not tend to one thing allows another to grow and fester into worse. The details are tended to. The networks of neurons and cappillaries built back as they should be. Bones knit to their proper strengths, lengths, and proportions. Indeed, when he is done, they could x-ray John's leg and there would be *nothing* to show that he had had this injury at all. Castiel's healing is of that prfound a nature.

Finally, it is done, the angel merely sitting back, looking slightly more ashen than when he began. "I have done all I can," He says simply. And, if there are injuries upon John, they are not of a nature Castiel can detect.

Slowly the angel rises, now taking in his surroundings, and who else occupies this space.

Cyberdragon has posed:
Sealing back up Cyber is drained, slowly trying to push himself up as John is still sedated as he looks to Natasha. Still the Dragon just seems drained laying there as he works to stedy himself getting to his feet slowly. There is a slowness, a sluggishness that can be clearly seen because of John's sleeping form. The only thing the Angel gets is eyes narrowing at him and a nod of respect and thanks. But still Cyber begins to try and move from inside the damaged shipping container.

Without John working in co-operation Cyber's clearly not perfectly fluid, in motions of movements. "My host is still out cold..." he says.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"He was sedated. He will be for a time," Natasha says. "If you will allow it, we can have him moved to the medical facility at the Triskelion." She isn't going to have them medics come in and try to touch the man otherwise. It wouldn't be healthy for anyone.

She takes in the state of both the conscious beings in the container, noting they are both looking a lot worse for wear.

Cyberdragon has posed:
Cyber still isntly sure what happened with the material that detacted from him and stayed behind inside of John. And it's a concern, he hasn't had it happen before. And simply nods to Natasha "Yes... " is all he says doing his best to at least move under his own power. But if a stretcher is brought out he will be more than willing to accept it.

Castiel has posed:
"If you will allow," Castiel regards the symbiotic beings. "I can shorten the time of the trip. It would be safer for your host," he explains to Cyber. And once permission is granted, he, Cyber, and John are all transported into the Triskelion's medical bay - a place Castiel is familiar with, and for once, appreciative that it isn't warded against him.
