Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim had arranged in the underworld to rob a bank. The people managed to rob the bank, testing gear that seemed to be futuristic, special grenades and laser weaponry. The people were now fleeing in a car, the police chasing after them. Caim watches through the CCTV video footage in a safe location. The moon is high in the night sky.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Goblin-Girl often does night patrols...of course, in Sunnydale, most of whay she fights is out at night. She is not in Sunnydale just now, she was on her way to New York to gind out what is goin on with her father. She has not heard from him since the day he told her he WAS, in fact, her father. When the bank alarm goes off she quickly gears up and heads in pursuit of the getaway car on her modified Motorcycle. Just now, the cycle is showing an eerie green glowing pattern in the shape of a skull when looked at from the front, with the front lights being the eyes. She will try to get close and then bring them to a halt.

Katherine has posed:
"Ohhh, this is why I detected an online disturbance." Mentions Katherine, standing just outside of the bank moments after it was broken into. Quirking her brow to the side she shakes her head some, "Well, let's see." And she starts walking quickly in the direction that the robbers took off in, and she starts to hunt the internet for that odd signal she had been sensing in this area. One of her forks runs off into the internet to see if there's any residual signals she can pick up, while her pace stays at a walking gait she is already signaling an Uber mentally.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim simply watches. Meanwhile the people in the car poked their heads out of the car and shoots energy weapons at the bike as it tried to stop them. When the bike stops the car, the people dump out of the car, weapons drawn as they try to get away with the money.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah shoots out a rear tire with her Spring gun, steeriung the bike with one hand as she dodges the energy blasts with the skill only a person with enhanced reflexes (and a bit of practice) can manage. The car skids as the tire blows and she holsters the Spring Gun and pulls out a grenade. She has to go for the grenades because she can not cock the spring gun with one hand...a minor but necessary design flaw. The grenade she picks is obvious...an adhesive grenade to cause the thugs to stick in place...

Katherine has posed:
There's weapons fire not too far off and starts picking up speed. She starts to run instead of waiting for the Uber, and she gives the person their tip still. She's so nice. Running now at residential driving speed, Katherine is moving relatively quickly for a person but not at all fast for an actual vehicle or even most super heroes. She clocks in at about 35mph but she springs from the ground to the top of a nearby building and begins running and jumping that way so as to be less detectable and that means fewer social media posts she has to delete.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    As the vehicle's tire is shot out, the people begin to leave the vehicle, grabbing the money and splitting up. Three men however as stay behind and raise the rifles to shoot at Sarah. one runs off to the north while the other two run off to the southwest, trying to duck into an alley.

    As the vehicle's tire is shot out, the people begin to leave the vehicle, grabbing the money and splitting up. Atleast that was the plan. As soon as an adhesive grenade goes off the people are caught in the stickiness of the grenade. They struggle to get away but three of them are raising their rifles to shoot at Sarah.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah goes into defensive mode, dodging, ducking, weaving, and jumping about to make herself a hard target. She is wearing good armor, she designed it herself, but it is better against physical attacks than energy attacks. She pulls her spring gun out during a flip and cocks it. She fires, aiming at the weapon, not the person...she does not want to kill or severely hurt them.

Buttercup has posed:
It's not a strange place to discover sweet little Buttercup on a Friday night, low on cash and hoofing it to work in a pair of stockings which at least don't look out of place in the seediest sections of Gotham, not to mention the heels that prop up the shortie to vaunted new heights. She's wearing a big, baggy hoodie in service of warding off the cold, and when the rest of the Park's denizens scatter or hide at the sounds of energy discharge, Buttercup is characeristically bold and edges through the winding alleys toward the noise, hands jammed into her pockets as she peers around a brick corner and watches to see whether she ought to intervene somehow-- if no-how else, she draws her phone and sort of hovers on the edge of whether she ought to inform the police or not as to the goings-on here. Somehow it seems like they wouldn't be much help.

Katherine has posed:
Katherine gets closer and at an angle where she can see what is going on. She is a few more city roads away but she is currently not seeing anyone currently in a huge amount of threat. With the next few jumps onto the nearest building she's trying to scan the group for communication devices to hunt backwards to whomever gave them this job. Laptops, phones, anything with communication capabilities, hell even the car's gps if it has one.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    The people were still struggling to try and get out of the grenade, a rifle shot out of the man's hand as two others aim at Goblin girl to shoot at her. The rest of the group is trying to break out of the adhesive to the best of their ability.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah continues to weave with great agility while firing a shot at the second weapon. Fortunately the adhesive impairs the mobility of the ones shooting her...

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup ducks back behind the corner for a moment to pop off a message to the p'lice in case they don't know what's on. BRB!

Katherine has posed:
Some good information pops up with the electronics and Katherine starts to scan for tidbits that are important to her, including locations where phones have been. And she starts to dial up Caim's burner phone as well. Whether or not it's picked up, if the burner is still around, she's going to have one of her forks start tracking down the location of that burner. And then Katherine hops down off the building she was on, and starts walking across the street and waves in the direction of the goblin woman, while she's jumping around, "Do you need help?" She questions, shouting out, and adds, "I have called the police and indicated advanced threat. So, hopefully a SWAT van or something will be showing up soonish."

Caim Kataras has posed:
    The burner phone is called and sure enough Caim is watching the goings on. He picks up the phone and answers it. "Most impressive. I didnt calculate a tech user showing up." He says as he watches them. The man with the last rifle tries to shoot katherine in the head as he struggles against the adhesive. The other criminals have begun to give up and so it is this last man left who poses a threat to the party.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Goblin-Girl pushes Katherine out of the way of the energy blast, taking a bit of the blast on her tunic. Fortunately the loose tunic serves to throw off the aim somewhat and Sarah is unharmed, though she DOES need to roll on the ground to put the tunic out where is is smouldering from the blast.

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup can confirm the police have already been alerted, if there's any doubt as to the veracity of Katherine's statements. She only stays out of sight long enough to be sure all the details are in the right hands, then, since the somehow-wedged robbers are still waving guns about, she tucks her phone back into her bra and zips up her sweatshirt, stepping out brikly into a loud trot of heels on pavement. "Care--! ful," she begins in earnest, then quiets down in relief when Sarah pushes Katherine out of the way. With renewed speed she hops on over to where the robbers are stuck and brazenly seizes the rifle by the barrel, pushing it away from anyone and everyone and then channeling the sunstuff to the palm of her hand to melt the barrel in on itself with the faint odor of singed metal.

Katherine has posed:
The rifle comes up and targets Katherine and then the rifle's trigger is pulled. The energy blast comes right at Katherine and though she is very attuned to her area and what's going on it's going too fast for her to really avoid. That's when Goblin Girl comes crashing into her and knocks her to the side, and Katherine starts tumbling, rolling, and is eventually back up on her feet. "Thank you, I would have needed another .38 seconds to be able to avoid that shot." She brushes off some of the street debris that got on her, as if that's important right now.

Caim's phone hears, "Oh, that's fine. I could leave if you wanted me to? Though I was really actually hoping to meet you, talk about some designs that I have. If, my assumption is correct, that these weapons that these clearly low-level criminals could not acquire on their own, were acquired and or built or modified by you?" The Katherine talking to Caim seems unphased by the Katherine being shot at.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    "A shame we will never meet. As for these criminals, they said they had a heist and needed weaponry so I offered what tech I had." Caim speaks into the phone, his voice electronically distorted and scrambled. one of the criminals pulls out a grenade from the vest and throws it down at the people's feet. "Do try and survive this." He says before hanging up.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah throws herself on the grenade. This is not as stupid as it would be for most people, not only is she wearing an armord tunic over an armored costume, but she herself is many times tougher than a normal human. The odds favor her survival...though injury ids fairly likely, depending on what KIND od grenade it is...

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup removes the pinched-off rifle from the robber, swinging it around and steadying it with her other hand to bring the butt of the weapon up fairly hard against the back of the robber's head, not trying to decapitate the fellow or anything, but at least making an effort to clock him out.

Katherine has posed:
"Well, we could..." Then the phone is hung up on her. As the grenade gets dropped, Katherine, in body, is the one on her feet. She looks as Goblin-Girl starts to jump in the direction of the grenade and Katherine instead runs forward. Where Goblin girl might be faster than her, Katherine was already on her way and scoops up the greande. She runs a few more large steps before doing a football dive and drop onto the grenade. She is tougher than most humans, but more importantly she has protocols. "Stay back!" She yells to everyone and is curling up over the grenade to try an actually focus the explosion downward to minimize her body's harm, but still... she's going to be exploded.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim watches the people on CCTV and when the explosion comes, he redials the phone to call Katherine back. "We could what? Discuss tech? As you are probably aware this is a line which a convicted criminal had, so whatever is said will be used as evidence. If you really want to work with me, then we can discuss a meeting." He says. The man who's rifle was taken is knocked out

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah tries to throw herself on the grenade, but Katherine is closer and intent on the same...with the result that Sarah lands on top of the other woman, whi is on top of the grenade...

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup follows through with an impeccably graceful pirouette, bearing her impromptu battle club along with her as she bounds up and oer the mass of stu=icky whatnot binding the robbers together and swings the butt-end of that rifle to knock the grenade-happy robber one, too, and get them as sleepy as their partner.

Katherine has posed:
Strangely, when dialing the number back, Katherine picks up immediately. Despite what is going on with the grenade. "Oh, good, you called back. Yes. I could potentially help you with the technology development. Just, not in the weapons department. But in other ways... I am developing my own technology as well... and it's beyond... heh, techno, is beyond. Get it?" She laughs over the phone a bit before sighing, "Anywho. The phone can be wiped. I wouldn't worry about that. If you accept the download I am about to send I will clean it up for you."

When the grenade goes off, Katherine's gauge on how well her body can focus the boom is pretty well estimated. Her form however was crushed extra, at the last moment, by Goblin Girl. At that moment the explosion lifts both bodies up in the air a mere few inches but it tears through the midsection of Katherine. The explosion rips through her synthetic form and out her back, only giving off some force to Goblin-Girl's armor while decimating much of Katherine's mid-section and ruining her clothing to be sure. Burns, blood, and other things are exposed and her body is hanging together by mere strands of... metal rods?

Caim Kataras has posed:
    "I accept any tech." Caim says as he nods. "Go ahead and send the download. I will trust you." He says as he waits for the download. Meanwhile the various robbers are stopped and knocked out thanks to Buttercup and one of them tries to stop her from hitting him with a hand. "I will comply!" He the man yells as he tries to avoid being hit.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah is feeling guilty for not saving the woman...until the damage reveals it was not actually a woman at all. She does not have time to worry much about it just then...as the explosion also knocked the breath out of her and threw her back for some distance. The landing was a bit rough, as she had not yet recovered from the impact of the explosion. She takes a few seconds to drag herself to her feet. Not long, but noticable.

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup hasn't been in the midst of an actual battle in far too long. But you don't get to be a sun-bearer sitting in a corner with a thimble, and the smooth pivot of the bar of the rifle in her hands denotes a long-tried hand with a spear or polearm, unfazed by the rippling of force waves through the air. That said, she seems a little abashed when she lands to the far side of the last robber standing. "Alright-- you'll be OK. Just keep your hands on your head until the police arrive, alright?" She's willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Katherine has posed:
The download goes through and into the phone and then the voice hangs up and Katherine starts to appear on the screen of the phone. "Thanks. This is a bit more roomie." She stretches her arms, showing up on whatever kind of screen in whatever format it has. So if it's a smartphone she's in high fidelity if it's instead one of those flip phones she's showing up in at best 8-bit.

Down on the ground Katherine is twitching some, but her arms are still working. If the metal rods hadn't of been exposed, everything else looks like a gruesome end to a person. It's a huge, horrible mess all over the place. She turns her head a bit to look backwards, "Could, I get some assistance? I will require being dragged or carried away. Thank you in advance."

Caim Kataras has posed:
    It was a smartphone and he decides to hold onto it, due to the download. He then turns off the CCTV camera access and leaves the people to their own devices. Meanwhile the robber puts his hands on his head and remains stuck to the others. The cops show up sure enough to take the criminals off the heros hands.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah picks up the android and moves her away from the crime scene before the police arrive. She is not sure if it is a sentient android or a remote, but if the former it would probably be best to keep it out of police custody. She tells the police what happened (up until the grenade thing at least), but leaves the Android out of it. Fortunately her costume is resistant and most stild just fall off...

Katherine has posed:
Katherine is dragged off by Gobling-Girl and says, "Thank you for bringing me away. You may leave me somewhere nearby here and I will repair myself." She indicates as she looks around to see where she may be. Caim's phone gets a nice bit more roomie as Katherine starts cleaning it of any of the phone calls and will be communicating back to her main fork to see when a good meeting time might be, for later.

Buttercup has posed:
Buttercup only meets up meekly enough with the police officers, makes sure the robbers are in capable hands, and then, with a look to the others leaving the place, she has to scurry along. She's late to work already.
