Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Wonder Girl, Troia, Silk

Wonder Girl has posed:
After one enters the Embassy, it is, perhaps, like entering another world. Where one goes from business suits and casual fashion, to kinda a Greeky thing, with the gender ratio starting to skew more towards the female. That wasn't to say there wasn't men in here, though - art admirers of the Themysciran style milling about the greek-clad Amazons that guard the place, and make up most of the support staff.

Sitting somewhere in the middle was Cassie Sandsmark. Dark shirt with the 'W' that Wonder Woman made so popular emblazoned on her chest, she wore a pair of thick, fingerless gloves as well, and a nigh-permanent smirk on her lips.

But what kept her from looking Totes McGoats Amazonny was probably the sneakers. And the cargo pants. But she had a lasso at her hip? And currently, she was gnoshing on a little bowl full of nuts, talking animatedly with a group of other Amazons, nearish the entrance to the embassy.

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy did not start out in the embassy but it is where she has ended up. Having been out in the city walking around and taking pictures, she made her way up the steps to the front entrance and lightly walked inside. A pause at security to identify herself - which to be fair lasted about as long as it took for security to recognize she was the sister of the Ambassador. But still. ID must be checked. Being motioned through, she smiled to the staff and offered a warm "Thank you!" as she waved to the receptionist on her way past.

Silk has posed:
Dressed in uniform is Silk- her outfit is of the made as quickly as possible style, bands of spider-silk that fit to her form. She peeks into the embassy, her head appearing so her eyes were parallel to the door, and perpendicular to the ground. Very slowly appearing to check the inside of the Embassy- likely garnering an odd look from any guards who might be outside the door.

But, that uncertain looks is soon overtaken and Silk steps into the embassy proper, still a little in awe at all the women with weapons. She didn't have and proper ID, but she seemed earnest enough it seems to get in. It probably helps she was fighting some monster right out front of the Embassy with Wonder Woman not that long ago.

Wonder Girl has posed:
Yeah, that probably helped. Fighting alongside the Wonder Woman, for sure. And what also helps get through the security of tough-looking women that look like they Have No Time For Your Funny Business Today was actually being the sister of the ambassador. The latter one earned Donna a handful of smiles, nods, and 'Princesses'.

Cindy probably got the mean-mugging still. But what do you do?

Through the security of both, both women probably manage to get in, but Cassie's eyes go to... "Donna!" she says, the athletic young woman bounding over to the other, and giving her a confident grin. "How are you doing? You good?" she asks, glancing her up and down. "And uh..." A beat, and Cassie points out Silk, superhero outfit and all. "...that a friend of yours?" Head quirks like an inquisitive owl to one side.

Silk has posed:
"Oh, no. I don't know her. I mean, I know someone that looks a lot like her, but I don't think its the same person, since you called her Donna and not Diana." Silk states, "And she looks almost identical, sure, but there's differences, sorta. Kinda." she says then, "Speaking of Princess Diana, I was hoping to see her? I need her help, and its sort of important. Like life or death important. For me. And for everyone."

Wonder Girl has posed:
A quirk of Cassie's brow, and she kinda folds her arms over her chest, considering Cindy Moon for a moment. "If it's 'life and death important' and turns out to be 'hi can you autograph this'?, we're gonna be so mad, I promise," she says. Bringing up a hand, Cassie kinda wiggles her fingers in a 'follow me' sorta gesture, glancing to Donna briefly for direction.

"So uh. I'll show you the Amazon you wanna talk to about that." A handful of steps forward. "Cool outfit, though. You a superhero or a fan?" she asks, letting her smile tick sharper.

Another beat. "And this thing that's super important - an amazon thing, or kinda a Justice League thing? You know they're gonna ask that."

Silk has posed:
"Well, more of the someone is hunting me down to use my blood in a ritual that could unravel the fabric of reality as we know it kind of thing." Silk replies, "And I guess I'm a hero. Kinda. I'm still sorting that thing out, its sort of complicated." she continues, "You can call me Silk, though, if you want. Spider powers, sort of like Spider-Man."

Wonder Girl has posed:
"The whole... 'menace of New York' Spider-man Spider-Man?" says Cassie, her tone of voice - and the confident little smile she wears after saying that betraying a more flippant tone. "Well, beyond threatening to tear apart the fabric of reality with your blood in a blood ritual - are you like... having unheroic thoughts?"

"Hi, Fillipa," says Cassie, casting a beaming grin to an amazon as the trio passes through the halls.

Silk has posed:
"Yeah, that be the guy. Helpful to a fault, may have doomed us all by opening doors he shouldn't have opened Spider-Man? That jerk." Silk says, with a roll of her eyes, "As for unheroic thoughts, I have no idea how to think heroic in the first place. I have no idea what I'm doing, and I'm terrified I might hurt someone who totally doesn't deserve it like some guy who's gone into villainy just to feed his kids or someone who's got really noble purpose but is terrible at working within the system, but is basically good..." Silk sounds like she could just keep going, keep talking.

"Hi!" Silk does pause her speech, though, to greet the woman they pass in the hall- at least she's friendly and polite.

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy heard her name but turns, holding her cell to her ear. She gestures with her free hand that she'll be just a moment. Then, as the two young women talk, Donna frees up and walks back over with a curious smile. "Hello." She nods to Cassie. "I'm doing good, Cass" she offers softly before looking to Silk. "Hello... Silk, is it?" She offers a hand, "I'm Donna Troy. I over heard a little of your conversation while I got that call, so, clear up confusion if there is any - I am Diana's sister. We're mirror twins." She smiles to herself at the irony of that statement's actual truth.

Wonder Girl has posed:
"That's the secret, right?" says Cassie, with a million dollar toothy grin. "None of us /really/ know what we're doing, we're just really really good at seeming like we do, and things tend to work out okay in the end," says Cassie, a bright laugh leaving her afterwards.

"So I'm Cassie. You can probably tell from the non-Greeky name that I'm not quite Themysciran. They just let me hang around here because I'm such a ray of sunshine," she says, her blue eyes twinkling a bit as they step through the halls.

Leaning over to whisper after Donna introduces herself, Cassie says, "You can tell the difference by the stars, right?" A beat. "Not that... Donna's full of stars or anything."

Silk has posed:
"Oh, nice to meet you, Donna." Cindy replies, taking the other woman's hand and giving it a little shake- friendly! "Yes. I noticed several similarities, only opposite on you versus Wonder Woman. Between that and the name, I figured you were a different person altogether." she remarks, off hand.

"Its really nice to meet you both, really. Thank you for inviting me in. Last time I was here, I just got thrown into an outer wall." Silk states, smiling- although the effect is hidden from behind her half mask that covers the bottom half of her face.

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy smiles at Silk. "Well it is nice to meet you, too, Silk. I understand you and Diana had a bit of an interesting time of it some days ago. As you said - hitting the wall.." She smiles gently, "That sounds somewhat painful if I'm honest. But thank you for lending a hand."

Wonder Girl has posed:
"But really... ah... shoot, Donna?" A beat. "I /just/ remembered that I had to handle this thing with that person," says Cassie. Which might sound very vague and insincere. "I mean... seeing Fillipa reminded me of Agrippa and her thing that she's doing tonight, that party? You know, because of Helene's celebration, where she was celebrating her birthday because that's a thing around here and now Agrippa wanted one, and it was getting heated, so..."

Cassie points towards the entrance. "I was going to get her the cake, but the bakery's closing in like a half hour, so if you could help Silk get in touch with the lady who can get in touch with Di, or, you know, do your princessy thing, can you uh..." A beat. Cassie curtsies.

"Catcha both later, right?" she says, giving a little salute to her forehead with two fingers as she backpedals, twisting towards the entrance of the place. And starting to run. A half hour might be more like 20 mins.

And an angry Agrippa might just be worse than reality being torn asunder.

Silk has posed:
"Oh, I mean, it wasn't anything. Wonder Woman is the real hero, there. She's the one who was able to stop the guy. In truth, I wasn't having very much luck and wasn't doing a very good job." In truth, Cindy had her ass kicked from one side of the city to the other. Through it all she kept the attention of a beasty who was far beyond her ability, and while she ended up bruised and battered she did ensure that collateral damage was kept to an absolute minimum.

"Really, it's Wonder Woman who deserves all of the credit for ending it."

Cindy blinks quietly, watching as Cassie is suddenly gone. "Bye! Have fun at the party!" She calls out, "Eat a lot of cake!"

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy looks to Cassie and just nods like she knows what the blonde is talking about and referring to. "Alright. Have fun, Cass." She looks back to Silk and smiles. "Diana, I am sure, would appreciate your kind words but would be quick to point out that she cannot do anything on her own. She tries to lead by example, but it was you who stepped up to assist. Even the smallest stone missing from a necklace can make the whole design look out of balance and lackluster." She offers a smile.

Silk has posed:
"I don't know anything about jewelry, either." Silk notes, the statement apparently flying right over her head. "I'm really not sure I want to do this whole hero thing full time. I mean, its a great way to blow of steam, for sure, but after this thing is done with the inheritors, I think I'd like to take a vacation. Its super stressful being hunted like an animal!"

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy smiles. "Sorry. It was an analogy. But, really, everyone who steps up to help no matter how minor they feel it might be, is still contributing." She then listens and nods. "Well.. no one can decide that for you, Silk. Ultimately? If you are good at it, and feel called to it? Then it is your choice to make." She offers a shrug, "I am a photo journalist most of the time. But when I am needed I assist Diana or the Justice League or whomever might ask for the help. Even Diana is not Wonder Woman every waking hour. She has many obligations here at the Embassy."

Silk has posed:
"Yeah, I guess so." Silk replies, "And yeah, thanks." She'll take the praise. "Its not about that, though. How can I just walk away, Donna? I have these abilities.... Its just really very confusing, I mean, I've had them for a while over eight years, but.." she just gives another quiet sigh, as the pair continue to walk down the hall towards where-ever it is Donna is leading her. "I just hope Wonder Woman can help me. I don't know how to strike back at these guys, and its really important that we do."

Troia has posed:
Donna Troy walked with Silk to a meeting room. Not one of the public rooms, one of those back within the staff only area. "I am afraid I don't have an answer for you, Silk. If you aren't committed to being a heroine yourself, no one can make you. It is full of sacrifices and difficulties. But also great satisfaction to know one is able to use their special gifts for the betterment of everyone." She gestures to the conference room. "Please wait here? I'll go see if Diana will be able to come speak with you." She offers a smile. Perhaps if anyone can get Diana to spare some time it would be her own twin, right?

Silk has posed:
Silk sighs, watching Donna as she walks away. Once Donna is gone, Cindy speaks just to herself, "But I spent eight years in a bunker just to protect people from what's happening right now...I sacrificed everything, and now I need to sacrifice more...." Cindy just shakes her head, and takes a very slow, very deep breath. "Maybe they can help me, though. Hopefully."
