Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Mon-El, Power Girl

Mon-El has posed:
Shortly after the rather difficult fight against Juggernaut, Mon-El goes searching for the Kryptonian woman who had assisted him, feeling that he owed her some measure of gratitude. So he's been flying over Metropolis to see if he can spot her from above, but is presently passing over Centennial Park's lush green terrain.

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl isn't difficult to find at the moment. With all the rioting, barely past- and all of the legwork she's doing in order to find the man she'd fought the other day- she's moving through the air of the city with such fervor that she's barely not breaking the speed of sound, today. It's not a very well-liked thing, splitting the sound barrier like that. For someone with super-hearing, it's not hard to zero in on her position.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar spots her easily enough, and quickly catches up to her as she's moving around the city--that is if she'll allow it! He comes up alongside her in the air. "Hey I realized that I didn't get a chance to actually thank you for helping me fight off that Unstoppable Juggernaut guy. I don't think I ever got your name?"

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl comes to a stop as soon as she realizes she's being followed- that is to say, very, very quickly. Her brow raises as soon as she realizes it's the man she's encountered twice now, who seems to have a similar suite of powers to her and the other Kryptonians. She nods a time or two, her arms folding silently as she listens to him. "Yeah, no real need for that. I was in the area, just trying to do what, well, we do. I... Go by Power Girl, and if you don't mind me saying so, you seem a little confused. Did something happen to you?" She doesn't know him at all, of course... But he does seem just a touch oblivious.

Mon-El has posed:
"Well, it's good to meet you, Power Girl. Lar Gand, here." A 'touch' oblivious might be a bit of an understatement, at the moment. "'We'?" Lar tilts his head to the side a bit. "Oh, are you a part of one of those teams, like the Fantastic Four?"

He looks slightly abashed at her last question, glancing sideways momentarily. "Uhm...well sure, a lot of things have happened to me recently, but beyond that I can't really remember."

Power Girl has posed:
With a brow raised, Power Girl responds with a nod. "Yeah, good to meet me. Uh," she looks around a moment- that he has no idea who she is is a minor point of concern, but all the same, she continues. "That's correct, I am a member of the Justice League. We're a group of heroes that operate... Well, everywhere, in a literal sense. Here on Earth, every city- other planets, when they tell us that they need us."

She sighs a little bit, reaching up to scratch at the back of her head. "I suppose it was a dumb question. You can't remember anything beyond recently? You've lost some amount of memory?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar nods, his eyes lighting up with some hint of recognition. "Oh, yes! The Justice League, another friend I made recently mentioned that group. Right, so I guess it was kind of your job to take care of Juggernaut. Still, I sort of started it, to be honest..." He says somewhat sheepishly.

"Actually, I don't remember anything before a few weeks ago, aside from some vague memories of my childhood on Daxam."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl offers this shrug at that. "Eh, it was my job, and I don't really think you started it as much as you were the first person he considered in his way enough to actually take care of. I don't know how it all started, but I can assume that it was for the best that you got his attention."

She seems... Momentarily troubled, but offers this quiet acknowledgment. "Well, maybe we can do something about that. Have you been seeing someone about your amnesia?"

Mon-El has posed:
"No, he was walking right by, but I accidentally wrecked the tech he was carrying with my thermal vision." Lar admits. "I didn't know it was stolen, but--I was just...trying to find something to focus on to filter out all the noise. It was like hearing and seeing everything everywhere at once. Not that it hadn't happened before, but I was just trying to make it stop."

He shakes his head at her question. "Er, no--I thought it might eventally come back," he shrugs. "But...you think there's something one of your team can do about it?"

Power Girl has posed:
Chuckling Power Girl cannot help but be amused by the coincidence of it all. Shaking her head after a moment, she responds. "That's uh... That is pretty unique, I've got to say. But that leads to some new ideas. You might need some help learning to control your powers, if nothing else. The major thing, though, is that we get you your memories back, if we can. There are plenty of resources that we have available, and part of that might be someone who can help you figure out your past. I don't know how much we can do, but we'll at least help you get everything under control, and maybe, just maybe, restore your memories."

Mon-El has posed:
Lar smiles. "Really? Thanks. It would be nice to not have to worry about breaking every little thing I happen to touch..." Soda spraying all over Drake at Grand Central Station a while back comes to mind. Oh, and that railing at the museum the first time he was there. And the terminal on the Legion cruiser.

He frowns a bit. "Oh, and a few days ago some lady appeared out of nowhere and declared she was in love with me. Then she started summoning monsters on everyone when I said I didn't recognize her. That sound like anyone you know?" he asks, arching a brow.

But he shakes his head, sighing. "Sorry, a lot of weird things have been happening lately. But maybe we should just focus on one thing at a time for now."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl nods momentarily, "Yeah, I'm not so great at the teaching myself, but... I can certainly get you into contact with Superman. He'll probably be the best to teach you about what you can do and how to keep yourself in check." she pulls her arms apart, and sets her hands on her hips, looking around momentarily.

"I have... I have no idea who that is, so we'll just write that up as someone to watch for." she says, giving a bit of a sigh, at that. "Well, everything we do is weird, but as soon as we have you in complete control, you can make the choice on whether you want to deal with that weirdness or just be normal. You've got the right of it, we should take it one thing at a time."

Mon-El has posed:
Lar smiles. "Oh, Superman, yes I saw a statue of him in that park down there." he says, pointing downward. "Well, you can contact me on the Legion cruiser once you've spoken to your team later." He starts to leave but ligners a moment longer. "Thanks, Power Girl. I...really appreciate everything you've done to help."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl offers this minor mock salute. "It's nothing, don't worry about it. See you around." she says, and... With a bang and a rush of air, she's just gone.
