Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Gorilla Grodd, Mon-El

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd is testing a new device and lies in the subway in a small sub with a small drone moving into a crowded area above ground where he is looking at people enjoying the christmas shoppers a moment, fully knowing what will befall them

Mon-El has posed:
Lar has been wandering around, looking for the best place to get a cell phone lately. The last time he tried, Livewire had burst into the shop he was in and started breaking things, then made him sound stupid and posted a video of it on the internet. Lyle had told him to try to lie low, but how is he supposed to do that when he knows next to nothing about 21st century Earth culture, economics, or really anything at all? And, his friends from the 31st century United Planets can't exactly help him on that front, either.

So, here he is, trying his best not to look too conspicuous. He stops in front of a store with a bunch of clothes and electronics for sale in cardboard boxes out front. He notices the small drone...along with pretty much everything else that is, given his all his extra-sensory abilities, but it doesn't really draw his attention too much. Drones are a fairly common thing around here, right? At least they were on Daxam, and definitely are on the Legion cruiser.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
The drone slowly moves to the center of the square and just activates. People...are curious at first and then alarmed as their packages start to drop first. Gravity is slowly increasing.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar was rifling through some items when everything suddenly starts to feel heavier and heavier. Huh? What's happening? He watches as some shoppers start to drop their bags. Then he remembers the drone and turns his X-ray vision in its direction, quickly realizing that it has activated some kind of articial gravity field.

There's a blur of motion as he moves into a position with a straight line of sight to the thing, eyes glowing red for a moment before the thermal vision characteristic of Superman and other Kryptonians fires in an attempt to destroy the thing before it can put anyone in any actual danger.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
The thing in question is fairly advanced stuff. Not Kryptonian but just a step shy in terms of sophistication. Just looking at it he can tell that it is capable of a LOT more than what it is currently doing as....for a moment the effect increases anda localized black hole, microscopic, redirects his heat vision.

Mon-El has posed:
The blast is deflected, and Lar has to quickly grab a nearby sign to prevent it from hitting a group of innocent bystanders. Right, then so not your everyday toy remote-controlled drone. Clearly, it belongs to someone with a lot of wealth or intellect or both. There's another blur of motion, and Lar is now standing directly in front of it with his arms folded.

"Okay whoever you are, I'm assuming you're watching this. If you don't want me to wreck your tech, you'd better stop screwing with gravity in the middle of this densely populated area. You have ten seconds to comply. 10...9...8...7...6..."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
The gravity actually increases though Grodd is...concerned in his sub and begins moving farther away. The people are collapsing to the floor now and a few cry out in pain.

Mon-El has posed:
"5...4...3...2...1." Lar glances around as people start falling to the ground. He can feel it bearing down on him as well, but it's a good thing he's a -lot- stronger than most people. "Time's up!" He attempts to grab the drone and just...throw it hard into the ground with a force enough to make a small crater if it hits, using the increased gravity to his advantage.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
At first its harder than it seems but eventually the drone is simply NOT able to play around with gravity to the point of stopping the kryptonian and actually fries out before he even gets to it. Small smoke seeps from its circuits and Grodd curses. He makes a note to do something mischevious to the child later

Mon-El has posed:
The already destroyed drone creates a small crater (okay, small compared to the one he created with Juggernaut earlier) in the ground, as well as a slight localized tremor when it hits. Lar shakes his head as he examines the broken remains of the drone. "Pff, well that just happened. Don't say I didn't warn you." he mutters, then gets busy scanning the locals to make sure no one was actually hurt.
