Cast of Characters: Captain Marvel (Danvers), Gregory Stark

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Today is one of those rare days that allow Carol Danvers some down time, which is why she's not doing heroics in her Captain Marvel uniform, or seeing to military politics in USAF uniform, or any other of myriad day to day activities. She gets to dress like a regular person, sit at a nice bar, and enjoy a treat. It's not quite indulging, not quite letting loose, she has no problem, not at all. Just like Tony doesn't have a problem, not at all. Just one glass of whiskey, no harm in that.

Gregory Stark has posed:
In through the front door walks a man dressed head to toe in a pure white suit with a trenchcoat over it. Everything from his mirrored shades to his shoes is in the same shade of pure white. As he walks up to the bar he offers a smile to the bartender, taking off his glasses and setting them down into his pocket as he takes a seat at the bar.

"I'll take a virgin daiquiri." He says with that broad smile of his tucking shut the pocket on his suit as those baby blues focus down onto the bartender with a bit of a sparkle to them. The blonde wipes down his spot at the bar with a small wetnap, before placing his arms down onto the surface. Waiting for his drink with a pleasant air about him. "Make it strawberry."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Looking aside at the man who just entered, Carol blinks, "I see you've taken to white? Finally got tired of all that red...?" Carol jokes, before he goes on and orders a virgin daiquiri, leaving her to laugh, "come on Tony, a daiquiri is virgin enough without holding anything back." She then turns a bit on the swivel bar chair to look at him better, "and what's with the beard color? You were never one for keeping with fashion trends, is it even a trend? Blond beards?"

Gregory Stark has posed:
At first the man in white doesn't seem to even notice Carol's comments, more preferring to stick to his drink as it's sat down in front of him with a somewhat incredulous look from the bartender. He starts to take a sip from the glass before the name Tony is mentioned. A light twitch of his eye, as he pauses mid sip.

The drinking glass is sat back down onto the bar as he turns fully to face the hero. "Miss Danvers." He starts in a somewhat more... posh accent then one might expect to come out from Tony Stark. His words chosen carefully. "I'm not chasing some trend." He pauses for a moment. "I am my own trend." A brief moment longer. "As I am my own man." He holds out a hand. "Gregory Stark."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"Miss Danvers? Come on Tony, you can call me Carol..." the woman shoots at his formality, that is until she notices that posh accent, which makes her consider him anew. "Tony...? Are you okay?" She asks, only to find out that he's not Tony at all. "Wait, are you serious? You're not pulling a prank on me are you? Because that wouldn't be nice." Apparently she never learned that Tony had a brother.

Gregory Stark has posed:
There's that twitch again of the eye at the mention of the word Tony. It's subtle but it's definatly there, not the kind of thing that would be hard to miss, letting out a bit of a low sigh "No, if I were pulling your leg it would have come off by now." Spoken in a deadpan manner before he offers another friendly smile, setting the glass of his a bit further from himself. "Though I will say it's nice to meet you in person rather then reading a personnel file."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol is precisely the sort of woman with the life experiences and training to make her a perfect candidate to notice the most minute of inflections, as she peers at Gregory quite curiously, "I take it you're not lovy dovy with Tony? Is that why I never heard of you?" She quirks a brow at the mention of pulling her leg right off, "you sure about that?" She asks, "maybe you're just saying, and didn't actually read my personnel file...I'm Carol Danvers by the way, AKA, Captain Marvel." Yeah, she's not one of those who hide behind a codename, that hasn't happened since the early days of Ms. Marvel.

Gregory Stark has posed:
"Well we'd be on better terms if he didn't sponge up every last drop of inheritance leaving me with nothing but a failing company in the pacific and an old rusted out limousine." Gregory comments before taking another sip of his daiquiri. "And I know very well Miss Danvers, it's one of the perks of working closely alongside SHIELD."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"Is that true...?" There's a very grave tone to Carol's voice, a tone that suggests that might have words with Tony when next she sees him. "Oh?" Carol seems to take even more interest in Gregory after that comment, "you're working with SHIELD? An agent or contractor?"

Gregory Stark has posed:
There's a bit of a chuckle from Gregory as he sips away at his glass. "I'm a supplier of sorts. Most of their more cutting edge weaponry comes from my company." As he takes a bit of a nod towards the glass. "I've been working along side SHIELD for several years now, ever since we started construction on our NYC branch."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol empties her glass and leaves payment on the counter, before turning to Gregory one last time, "I hope you know that you're helping the better side of SHIELD, because they can be shady..." as she gets up, she adds, "pleasure of making acquaintance, I'll talk to Tony about you when next I get the chance...brothers shouldn't be enemies." Funny she should say as much, what with her spectacular family record.
