Synopsis:	Kenan and Kitara converse about pandas

Super-Man has posed:
The Bronx Zoo is one of the longest established public zoos in the nation, and currently home to a pair of Pandas on loan from China. Kenan has stopped by to visit. Officially, he is here to check on the care of the Pandas for the Chinese government. Unofficially he is mostly relazing and enjoying the zoo...as best he can in the cold.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua so wishes she could justify leaving her aura of power up - the cold doesn't bother her. But... glowing in a manner that some have called demonic is bad. So she bundles up instead. She flew to the city, and wanted to visit hte zoo, so lands in a nearby alley, and now she just looks like an Asian girl with red har. She is bundled up, in a jacket and thick pants, with sunglasses hiding her red eyes as she goes to check on the pandas, cooooing happily.

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan is not wearing his costume, either his "Chaoren" costume or his new Shield uniform. He is wearing a red shirt and coat with black pants and a yellow belt. He observes the visitors to the Panda habitat, and checks that the climate is properly controlled and the food is proper. Pandas can eat meat, but mostly feed on bamboo in the wild because they are poor hunters. He wonders why the lady is wearing sun glasses at night...well it is hardly the strngest thing he has seen.

Rift has posed:
The girl all in red just looks, then sighs softly. "I can't see in these damn things," she mutters softly as she pulls her hood up and takes them off. Though she looks Asian, she doesn't sound it - obviously born and raised in the good ol' USA. She just stands there, nodding slowly. "Such pretty animals..." she murmurs.

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan says, "Pandas are a fairly rare species, they are too slow and ungainly to hunt, though they like meat when they can get it. Fortunately they adapted to be able to eat Bamboo, or they would have died out long ago. As it is, humans have encroached on their habitat to such a degree that they effectively no longer exist in the wild at all. Only in places like this, maintained by humans to sustain them, do they still exist. It is a pity."

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua Nods slowly. "Yes... sometimes I worry about the future of this world. Things always seem to ge going from bad to worse. And... there's no one group you can point fingers at. Humans, mutants, aliens... everyone has their moment of infamy..." She sighs softly. "So - any good news about them?" she asks, gesturing to the pandas. "Or is it all depressing if you really think about it?"

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan says, "Well, Mei-Mei there is pregnant. If the cub is born there is yet hope for survival of the species." Kenan can tell she is pregnant, he can hear the cub's heartbeat...though he is cautious about using x-ray vision to look. He is not sure whether he might damage a fragile embryo with his vision...

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua smiles. "That's awesome. I hope it goes well for her..." She ponders. "Also it's nice to see that other species can have long-term mates too." She ponders. "Any idea how far along she is?" she asks. She assumes that you work at the zoo - you were doing something with the controls. So she takes that news as fact.

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan says, "It is intended that she give birth in spring, unlike a true bear who gives birth during winter while hibernating. I think that makes her less than halfway to birth...I am afraid biology was not my best class." His best class was Physical training. He was not as good a student as he should have been, though he did well in mechanical training as well thanks to his father's tutoring.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua nods. "Yeah - I study physics and cooking. Also enjoy some martial arts on the side. I like to stay active." She hmmmmmms softly as she states, "Know about any of the other exhibits? Oh, I'm Kitora," she states, extended a gloved hand (the glove's red too).

Super-Man has posed:
Keban replies, "Not much. I am Kenan, I am from China...I was just checking on our national treasures while I was here." His gloves are red with yellow patterns on them.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua smiles faintly. "My parents are from Japan. But I was born and raised in Connecticut. Now I go to school here. I... haven't seen my parents in a while. And treasures they are indeed."

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan says, "I recently took a job here, though I have been visiting for a while. I...helped out a bit guring the invasion." Not all that much really, but he was there during the last fight and trying his best. Mind, she will probably think he was in emergancy service work or something.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua nods. "Those were dark times. Where these precious pandas here during that time?" she asks. She paces slowly back and forth. "I suppose that even a zoo would've needed emergency services."

Super-Man has posed:
"Oh yes, the male panda has been here longer, but both have been here for a number of years," Kenan states. He adds, "I was not at the zoo then, but spent some time in Chinatown and at the Embassy. This is my first time at the zoo."

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua nods. "Well, I'm glad that with people like you protecting us, we're in good hands." She hmmmmms softly, clicking her tongue as she sighs, her hood slipping and her red eyes revealed. She sighs as she pulls it back up, but one person nearby gave her an odd look.

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan says, "You may need to be careful, your eyes are unusual..have you thought of getting colored contacts?" He looks at her and, for a second, lets HIS eyes glow red.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua sighs softly. "Colored contacts are not easy for me to get. I can ask around where I live. I never considered trying them."

Super-Man has posed:
Kenan nods, "I have some friends who are different...but I have to go...I need to get to my job for more training. See you again sometime."
