Singh has posed:
"I will walk from here." The young woman's voice is a bit more assertive then it used to be.

"You should get to the Helicarrier and report in. If you don't turn up, I will inform Agent May and let her deal with you." The driver of the black SUV states with a smirk.

"Noted. See you back there." The vehicle stops and out steps the young Hindi/American. She is dress in an jacketed uniform, with a shirt underneath with an obscured word emblazened across the chest complete with an Eagle Logo underneath. A pair of matching uniform pants are on her legs and her military esque boots on her feet. She is unarmed at this time.

A Soft sigh escapes her lips as she stretches and looks around. Finally she takes off running into an alley Immediately she jumps along a wall, working her way up to the roof tops. She Its mostly parkour really with the exception of a final slightly big stretch to pull herself up to the roof tops. Once up there she moves to the edge and sits down.

Power Girl has posed:
In a mild contrast, Power Girl never really walks anywhere. Instead, she's bolting across the sky at just below mach speeds. She doesn't have a lot to do in New York per se, but it's on the way between Gotham and her hometown of Metropolis. This means that since she's been taking a lot of trips between both lately, she's often flying over the city.

She's not flying especially high, today- at the height of scrapers and most taller buildings- but not quite out of eyeshot. The kind of sight that the Metropolis folk are used to- but not entirely the kind of thing you see in New York particularly often.

Singh has posed:
The young hindi woman gazes out across the distance. "At least that is over." She shutters. "I didn't think I was that annoying when it came to following orders!" She shutters. "Freaking Basic. Of all the things to be put into. Basic. Ugh if I see another freaking horrible military meal I'm going to vomit." She comments as rubs her head.

Her gaze catches the flying woman. She blinks a few times. "Errr, I'm in New York Right?" She pulls out her phone and double checks the GPS.

Power Girl has posed:
It's Christmas day, and for some reason, the solar-powered blonde is flying over New York. It's an uncommon sight, but to be sure, as soon as Ginger checks her GPS, it's definitely New York that she's standing in.

Though Power Girl could probably hear her, she is not necessarily tuning into that. Instead, she's paused in the air, to sort of relax in the sunlight above the city. It's not a long thing, but she is... Definitely there, and definitely not quite the Big Apple's usual flyover. She's not even using a hammer to do so.

Singh has posed:
Ginger just looks down, "I could just take off. Keep running and live off the grid. I could probably hide out for a while. But... I gave my word. Ugh. After that I just don't wanna deal with it right now." She frowns.

Quietly she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small wrapped package. "Happy Holidays to me..." She states as she opens it. A simple little necklace. A heart pendant with the words, 'I love you' on it from her mother. "Thank you mom." She whispers and puts the necklace on. She slips it under her shirt so its not easily seen. "I wish I could just go see her!" She complains.

Power Girl has posed:
"So what's a woman wearing a SHIELD uniform doing on a rooftop contemplating a necklace?"

This voice just sort of happens next to Ginger. It probably occurs to her at that point that, seemingly out of nowhere, a woman is standing next to her. It's not hard to figure out how or why, considering that the blonde's half-cape flutters lightly in the wind, and if Ginger happens to look up, the person that had been flying is simply... Gone.

It didn't necessarily happen in the blink of an eye, but it's also not as if Power Girl flew at a reasonable speed. A few hundred miles an hour until she was just a few feet away. She respects what the woman was saying to herself, despite hearing it. Assumedly, too, she'd just... Seen where Ginger was standing, or something similar. She did look a little precarious, after all.

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh immediately looks up trying to find the source of the voice. The girl flying around is no longer flying around. She whips her head around farther then any human's should. Thats when she sees the short haired blonde girl. Quickly she stands up and looks closely at the woman. "Power Girl?!" Her jaw drops. "Okay, You are hotter in person." She blushes a little and looks away trying to hide herself.

She does shake it off finally and speaks up, "Well, I am just off basic. Part of me wants to just forget about being part of it and go back home. The necklace is a gift from my mom. Its hard, my parents can't know what I am doing. If thats not enough, its like the person I used to be barely exists anymore. I used to want to be a famous chef. Now..." She shrugs, "Thats not who I am anymore. Once an Agent always an Agent."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl nods, folding her arms as she listens to the other woman's explanation. "Yeah, most people are more attractive when you're seeing them up close. Even the photoshopped ones." This is more said in amusement, but also she figures it'll help make Ginger feel less awkward.

She listens, from then on, in silence. "Well," she states, trying to figure out the right words. It's a Metropolis Superfolk thing, that they're all just kinda... Good with those. "You have to figure, you're helping people now. Admittedly, if you were a chef, you'd be making people happy. Now, you're doing the same thing, from a different angle. Sure, it's going to hurt a lot more. There's going to be real, physical struggle. I don't think as a chef you'd ever be afraid for your life- but at the same time, you're going to make a difference. A real, tangible difference, as long as you let yourself. Maybe you can't be the person you thought you'd be- but you can still be the person you wanted to be. Just with a different... Veneer."

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh nods slowly, "It wouldn't even be so bad if I wasn't in an accident. Being told I'm no longer human after an accident will do that to ya. Whats worse, its not even my fault." She frowns as she looks down for a moment.

"I was on delivery while working at a pizza joint. Got a call for a party. Some guy grabbed my ass and I decked him one. He started talking crap about me, I told him off. Then while I was dealing with stuff, he snuck out to my car and cut the brakes. I drove off. Couldn't slow down. Wound up crashing into STAR Labs and coated in chemicals."

Power Girl has posed:
Actually, Power Girl knew about that particular accident. Sadly though, she couldn't really say anything about it. Revealing that she ran the company at this point would... Probably be a bad move. She offered this mild sigh, scratching a bit at the side of her head with a blue, armored finger.

"Sure, maybe you were doused in chemicals, but to be honest, that doesn't make you not human. You're still -from- here, you still -live- here, you didn't get reborn as a Martian, and even if you did, you're still you, right? So be you. Do what you think is right. Maybe that's running away, but maybe... Maybe you can shift tragedy over into something better. Turn your loss into a win for... Well, everyone. And, in that sense, maybe you'll find that instead of being a tragedy, it was just a gateway, to something better."

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh sighs, "On the contrary, watch." She stretches her arms out wide enough to touch each side of the building. "The chemicals that hit me, altered me on a genetic level. Since then I've been punched, Shot, near exploded and such and never got hurt. Its tough stuff. I wish it wouldn't have happened to me."

She frowns and just sighs. "So how about you? How do you keep going. I mean it can't be easy being the amazing Power Girl constantly." She smiles. Damn she wishes she was that hot!

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl shrugs. She's not necessarily making light of the other woman's plight, but as far as she's concerned, she addressed this already. "And? Genetically, I'm nowhere near human. So are most people who do what we do. The genetic level doesn't matter. You're you, you've always been you, and you'll always -be- you. Is it... Wrong that it happened to you? Yes. Very, even. But you can't really afford to just dwell on it. Use it. Stop assholes from cutting breaklines. Be the person you needed, for the other people who need you." she states, offering this small smile.

To that, she shrugs. "You have no idea how easy it is to be me." she jokes. "But, if I had to say anything keeps me going, it's that there are... I wish I could demonstrate to you what it's like to hear what I hear. Every day, if I spend just a moment listening, I can hear... Thousands of people. Normal, average, every day people. The kind of people that deserve a life free of all the shit that people like me have to deal with, and if anything keeps me going, it's the fact that sometimes, the only thing between those people and a thousand times the amount of suffering and bullshit that they do not deserve, is me. And really, I wouldn't be able to accept anything else."

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh blinks a few times. "That is intense!" She takes a deep breath. "you're right, of course. I shouldn't be freaking out and stuff. I mean I can do things few others can. On top of this I am a trained agent who can really help make a difference. Now if only I could wear something other then the uniform. It does not accent my figure!" She laughs.

"Honestly I just am seeing the things that I have spent the past 6 months training to do and its like, I can barely see myself through it anymore. The knowledge that if I was in a dangerous situation, I could keep going without batting an eye. I could disarm a thug and use their weapon against them without thinking about it... Its kinda unsettling you know?" She laughs. "I guess with power and training comes a lot more responsibility doesn't it?"

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl nods at that. "Honestly, I wish I could tell you that it gets particularly easy. I wish I could say that you'll be safe forever and nobody will ever find a way to hurt you, but that'd be a lie. People even manage to pluck Superman and I out of the sky every now and then and show us that no matter how powerful we are, we can still bleed. Sure, we've navigated our way out of it, but... Maybe one day we won't. We have to be ready for that. For me, it's just imagining that until it happens, I'm doubling down more and more on the number of people whose lives, whose existences just... Continue. The amount of people who not only still live, but still do so happily, is all that it really takes."

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh nods slowly, "Thank you Power Girl. You're really kind. You've been doing this for a while. I've been in a few hot spots. Only once was I really in a situation where I actually felt like I was in danger. I can't give specifics cause... I really dunno what all is classified with it. Some nasty people had a rocket aimed at something very important. They were short on agents so I got called in. After getting shot a few times, for the first time. I kept going. I fought with a bunch of the bad guys and then got the request to deal with the rocket. I wound up wrapping myself around it repeatedly. That honestly scared me. I thought I was going to have the shortest run as an Agent in history. Crushed the rocket with my body." She shrugs.

"I guess I should probably think about getting to the Helicarrier. Last thing I want is to piss off Agent May. She knows she can go all out on me and not kill me... That makes things slightly scary."

Power Girl has posed:
Offering another chuckle, Power Girl only shrugs a bit, before starting to rise up into the sky. "Listen, there are -plenty- of people to be afraid of who -can't- kill you. Frankly, I'll take death anyday over my life being made a world of shit if I managed to properly piss off Batman. Either way, don't take my word for it all. A grain of salt, always. Find your own way through it- not everything that works for me, will work for you." she states, before she's off into the sky and then, shortly after, she's just gone. There's a pop from the horizon, as she breaks the sound barrier, headed back to Metropolis.
