Date of Scene: 26 December 2017
Location: Deadhut, Starling
Synopsis: A nice quiet morning at the Deadhut
Cast of Characters: Deadpool, Black Widow (Romanoff)

Deadpool has posed:
Having eaten an unhealthy amount of sugar, and drank way too much caffeine, eventually, Deadpool crashed. He managed to get himself up to bed under his own power, so there was that. But, he had gone to sleep in the clothes he wore the previous day. Fortunately, he had been wearing his Mickey Mouse pyjamas. There were a red tartan, with Mickey on the lapel, and Mickey on the matching pants.

As he woke up, he took a big yawn, somehow waking up feeling tired. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and reached for the nightstand, where he put on his mask. He was at home. He was in a safe place. He was with the woman he loved. And still he wanted to wear that silly mask. He had a lot of scars, and they weren't just the visual kind. Looking over, he said, "happy Boxing Day."

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Happy Boxing Day," Natasha replies. She was already awake. Her night hadn't ended up in a crash but she did join him in bed where she snuggled up close with him. She slept well but woke as soon as he had moved. It was a habit of hers. She just was a very light sleeper. It went with the career training, so to speak. "And what did you want to do do today? Anything special or stay in?"

It wasn't often she got to be home for holidays so the fact they had gotten a few days together without some major crisis happening to drag either one of them away was a bit of a Holiday Miracle really. She wasn't sure she believed in miracles but she'd take it. No sense looking a gift horse in the mouth. She has the covers pulled all the way up and is laying on her side looking over at him, watching how quickly he put on that hood upon waking and hating it. As much as she tried, she couldn't fix those scars for him. Not the ones on the inside that kept him from being comfortable, even with her.

Deadpool has posed:
Deadpool's eyes widened at the sight of Natasha. That mask of his was so expressive, thanks to its ability to read his facial expression and create a suitably exaggerated version of it. "I want to go to the moon, Disney World, and Arby's, or anywhere as long as you're with me." He reached out to brush some of those red hairs out of her face. She always looked so good when waking up, he wondered if that too was part of her training, or some mutant gift? Was she a mutant? Whatever she was, she was perfect.

He leaned forward and gave her a kiss through his mask. "So, what's it going to be? Space adventure, theme parks, incredibly average food, kill some poor guy, or spending the day at home, watching movies, or hey, just laying in bed?"

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"We can take killing someone off the list. We can do that any day." It would be funnier if it wasn't true. Both of their jobs tended to need that particular skill set.

Natasha considered the other options as she slipped her arm around him. "Arby's we could get on the way to our destination, if there is one. If there isn't, we can go grab it then come back here for the day." She let's her brow furrow a bit more, as though considering it very deeply although she really isn't. "Never been to space and not sure I'm up to that. Theme Parks will probably be very busy which makes them not so fun. So that leaves pending the day at home. So many options for what to do at home though." she teases lightly.

Deadpool has posed:
"Aw, ok. But can I maim somebody at least?" He sounded like a kid begging for permission. "Or we could combine them? Go to Jurassic Park, watch something get maimed? Have you ever been? The mosquitoes are annoying as all hell, but it's worth it to see Dinosaurs, or reasonable facsimiles. One of these days I want to get my blood into a Tyrannosaurus Rex, so it'd get a healing factor too, and become a real life version of Super Mario Odyssey." He was probably the only one in the world who wanted to see a Tyrannosaurus Rex that couldn't die. "Or, we could just stay in bed?" He slipped his own arms around her, pulling her in closer.

Black Widow (Romanoff) has posed:
"Jurassic Park is just a disaster waiting to happen," Natasha decides, with a shake of her head. The idea of a T-Rex with a healing factor is enough to give even her nightmares. Quite an achievement. And he wasn't even trying. "I think there are better plans to be had involving the Deadhut and unwrapping presents." There is a mischievious smirk on her lips as she looks at him over. "You like unwrapping presents, I know. Although you may want to not completely unwrap this one."
