Steve Trevor has posed:
The skies over Themyscira were near perpetually bright and sunny. It had sunrises and sunsets. It had enough rain to sustain the plants, though that usually came in the night, when everyone was asleep. It was a magical place. So, when Steve's plane passed through the barrier, it came as quite a surprise to him. He was piloting a stolen Latverian jet, which had taken heavy fire. The smoke followed it as it began to glide down. He was doing all he could to make it a soft landing, but it was going to be in the water.

Beyond the barrier, it looked dark and rainy, as if a terrible storm was raging around the island. Whatever magics protects the island, they made it a most inhospitable option, so most avoided it. Steve wasn't so lucky. He had been forced down, as the Doombots continued to fly behind him, firing at him, though he had managed to get a few minutes head start on them, despite the damage.

The jet crashed into the water, skipping twice, before it began to start sinking. There was a portion of it that was buoyant, but there was just too much weight to keep it. Trapped by his seat belt, which had been caught as part of the crash, he looked back at the surface of the water as it continued to delve deeper. He struggled, he fought, but he could not free himself, and then, as the remaining oxygen in his lungs dwindled, he slowed, just sort of sitting there as his craft plunged deeper into the murky depths.

Wonder Woman has posed:
It wasn't the same as it was a hundred-some years ago. Sure it was very similar in a lot of ways, but as things do... change has happened.

The beach that a plane crashed off of a century ago now had a small village built upon its shores with a few docks where off-island ships would rest when bringing validated visitors to the island's coastlins. Currently the dock was absent from ships, though there were a few scheduled to arrive within the week to bring some to the shore to spend time within the village and get escorted tours of the island by the Amazonians.

The village was tended to by a group of Amazons and all their eyes were on the skies when the jet came roaring down into the ocean. It wasn't but a few moments later that their boats were filled, two in total, with six Amazonian women on each. The boats were detached from the docks and they were quick to move their oars to get them into place over where the Jet had sunk beneath the waves. When in place, two of the warrior women both dove overboard and knifed their bodies down into the brilliantly blue waters, they both descended into the darkening depths and traced after the felled aircraft.

Weapons were used to free the pilot... and both women pulled him back to the surface where the others aboard the boats would help to drag the water-logged pilot into one of their finely crafted wooden boats.

Steve Trevor has posed:
Steve had no idea there was a hidden island when he crashed. He had been looking for somewhere to land, but hadn't found any. There were no safe places on the map, and he wasn't given much of a choice. His plane was going down and there was nothing he could do about it. He would be saved from the murky depths by some Amazonian warriors, being semi-conscious as the two women appeared, doing their thing, the Amazonian version of the coast guard. For them, it was a fairly typical day it would seem. Just, a little out of the ordinary that this particular visitor didn't have clearance, or come via regular means.
