A Meeting
Date of Scene: 27 December 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Dragon, Rift

Dragon has posed:
It was a wet late afternoon. The clouds were dark and spewing a nasty bit of rain. Exiting a familiar location now, Richard Dragon looks up and feels the rain on his face first by closing his eyes, next by exhaling loudly with a puff of breath. Cold and wet it seems.

With a shrug, and a quick motion, Dragon pulls his hood up over his head, the hood that was attached to his light, dark blue jacket that he had grabbed from the "Lost and Found" bin in the dojo. With the dust Dragon brushed off as he had picked it up, it had obviously been there quite some time.

Rift has posed:
A few times prior, a red-headed Asian girl was in there. She was doing some various kicks at a training dummy, dancing around. Either she was having fun... or... perhaps it's some kind of odd martial arts as she seems to be doing some impressive moves, even leaving her footprint right on the mannequin's head. She pulls back, nodding slowly. "Even without lighting up, I'm still pretty good," she cooos as she grabs a water bottle.

Dragon has posed:
Underneath his hood, Richard Dragon watches the young woman, her motions her moves, the way she walked and kicked. It piqued Richard's interest. "You are pretty good." With another motion, Richard drops his hood, so the young woman can see his face and long, red hair. "Have you been training very long, or is this a natural ability that you demonstrate? I'd be interested to see more, and perhaps I can teach you a thing or two? That is, if you are in need of a teacher."

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua glances over, nodding. "I was looking for a martial arts that fit my... nature. And capoeira seems to do the job. I've been learning via the Internet, but a hadns-on teacher would be good. I am Kitora," she states, finsihing the water bottle.

Dragon has posed:
Richard Dragon tosses his wet jacket on the nearest bench, and removes his wet shoes. His movements are graceful, calculated, and done without so much as a sound. His eyes never leave Kitora as she maneuvers on the floor. As she mentions her name, Dragon bows his head respectfully. "I am known as Richard Dragon. It is an honour to meet someone so interested in bettering herself through martial arts mastery. So few obtain their goal, but it is a noble pursuit. Perhaps you could show me what this martial art you describe is? As well as what it is called. I would like to witness it firsthand. One can never learn too many things."

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua smiles. "It's a Brazilian art called capoeira. It's half-dance, half-kicking." She does her routine, going against the training dummy again. "You move fast so it's hard for an opponent to conect, then strike back with powerful kicks. There's a reason I chose this but... it's complicated." She is really doing some potent kicks against the dummy, her long red hair in a bun to stop it from flopping around.

Dragon has posed:
"Capoeira. I see. I have heard of it. Very interesting. I have never seen it "performed" however, at least, not by someone very proficient in the martial art." Dragon nods his head along with his words, and regards Kitora thoughtfully. Watching as she performs her movements with precision and grace, as well as power, Dragon smiles approvingly. "Very good. You are obviously well trained. WHo is your Sensei?" Dragon places his hands behind his back, and watches as Kitora finishes her routine, absorbing every detail.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua shrugs. "Youtube," she mutters, blushing faintly as she stops. "Sorry, but... I'm self-taught." She gazes up at you - and her red eyes would be clearly visible. "As you can see.. I'm not quite a normal human. This... fits into my... abilities... niely. Rapid maneuvers is my speciality." She smiles. "And I don't think I'm hardly very proficient. Just... proficient."

Dragon has posed:
"Ah. I see. Fascinating, indeed!" Dragon nods, and regards Kitora with a new appreciation. "Well, thank you for the demonstration. Perhaps we can meet in the future for a proper sparring demo? I promise to not get in the way of too many of your kicks. They look like they may hurt." Dragon smiles. "As for hardly proficient, we all start somewhere. There are other like minded martial artists throughout the world who are learning every day. You appear to be one of them." Dragon grabs his jacket once more, preparing to head back out into the rain. "Another time then?"

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua nods. "Another time. Perhaps you could become my sensei one day. Sensei Youtube is a bit unreliable at times and tends to be overly fond of silly cats." She smiles as she wipes her forehead with a towel. "I look forward to it, Mr. Dragon."
