Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Circe, Gorilla Grodd

Circe has posed:
To call it anything other than a dive, would be unfair to most other places. It will be even worse from here on out. Dingy, old, shabby, and run-down would describe this old diner, labeled 'Fran's'. If there was a Fran, she should have kept the place up.

as he arrives, the neon sign out front is off. The door sign says 'closed'. A ⦠young female gorilla opens the door for Grodd as he approaches. She is a little curvier than the normal female gorilla, and the shock of blonde hair atop her head is bizarre. "The mistress awaits you, Mr. Grodd!' She says in a chirpy jersey accent. She manages the accent even with her new mouth. The entire staff seems to have been turned into Gorillas of all shapes and sizes. They are delivering a food order to the purple-tressed Circe as Grodd is allowed in.

She remains seated. "I took the liberty of ordering for you." She calls. Across from her at the table two large plates are laden with food. One strictly vegetarian, the other heavier on the protein with a large steak.

"I must admit to not knowing your diet. I trust you will forgive me. I did go through some effort to make you more at home. I intend to leave them all this, so if there are a couple you like, do feel free to take them with you. Obviously, I am Circe. You are Grodd. You are making waves, and i had to see if maybe you and i cannot come to some sort of arrangement?"

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd has a bit of an uncanny valley effect on the curvy gorilla. He likes Gorilla girls. He likes human girls. He both likes and dislikes the Gorilla with the human hair and can't decide which he feels more but he stares with rapt fascination as he he lopes to the back, definitely approving of this. He smiles widely, "Well well well, lovely."

"We're slightly omnivorous" (implying Gorilla City but not outright saying it) "But I eat everything. I find human brain delightful, but lean towards the vegetarian side of things, calories if nothing else. Excellent selection. I've read of you and heard of you but am honored to meet you. I think a few could do quite nicely for some of my bolt holes...." he reads their minds to determine how much they now identify themselves as gorillas. "I'm all about Arrangements." He smiles and leans forward as he sits, "Do go on."

Circe has posed:
Completely. She has thoroughly changed and charmed them. After all, they are to be a gift to grodd, and one does not demonstrate largess and power with faulty gifts. They remember their previous lives, but they are gorillas now, each now knows that she is a gift to Grodd, and they are eager to begin their new lives. Blonde. Brunette. Ginger.

"First, let me thank you for meeting me. I have been looking into you as well. Seems to me that I am not a Gorilla, and you are not a human. It seems that the both of us wanting to rule over our respective kind is not at all in the other's way." Circe purses her lips. "It also seems to me that you have a technologically-inclined mind and potent mental gifts. In the mystic arts, i am certainly one of the more powerful."

her plate is light. Mostly fruits and vegetables. She gestures with her fork in a delicate manner. "The heroes associate. They pool knowledge. They share resources and network. I have heard rumors you might be looking for associates. I will not work for you, no more than your ego would allow you to work for me." She wrinkles her nose in distaste. "But our own association might yield better results. I have heard rumors you might be seeking to form that sort of group. I wanted to make my interest known, but also make it clear that i am no one's catspaw."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd finds he likes how thorough they enjoy their new situation and there is something enjoyable to him about not having to telepathically brainwash them. A sort of qiche charm of demi free will that was stolen by someone else. "Well, I think I might have to borrow quite a few....indefinitely."

"Well, certainly. I've never had aims of conquoring the planet. Perfectly pointless. I just think most humans suck. You're not, correct me if I'm wrong, human are you? I recall something about divine heritage?" He nodded, "Yes the mystic and technological team up does seem a natural match. Have you heard, by the way, of the legion of Doom? I didn't found it but I've been..promoting it since Doom wen ton Hiatus."

Circe has posed:
"You will not borrow them. They are yours. Whichever it pleases you to take. All or none. The ones you do not take, leave here." She gets a slightly perverse pleasure out of the idea of some of them trying to resume their old lives as they are now; but she will will simply take those he does not want. She will twist them again, and put them to work on her isle. One does not get to her age and experience by leaving loose ends."I will repurpose them to suit my whims." Poor bastards.
&r    She nods. "The name is a little ominous, and entirely too self-aggrandizing for my taste." She admits. 'Ultimately, it is a disaster waiting to happen as well, as many of us will simply turn on each other once the battle is won." She almost flirts as she gestures with the fork, "But that is in the future, is it not?" she asks with a smile and a tilt of her head.

"How shall we keep in contact?" She doesn't ask for an invitation. She seems to think she is simply going to be a big fish in this new pond. She snaps her fingers, and the ginger gorilla walks over to hand Grodd a gem. "Toss that at the next of your foes who troubles you. Forgive my words, but it will monkey with them. Save it for someone worthy." Circe tilts her left brow. "You came here, when you could have avoided me. You took a risk. I am not trying to impress you with trinkets, or prove my worth. This is largess., It is a little token to thank you for the trust, Grodd. If you want more, or more powerful gems, we will need a better working arrangement. Maybe some quid pro quo."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd nods and says, "Then I will take all of them. I want as many new gorillas as I can get by any means needed. I'm already thinking of other Gorilla Cities...other places, these folks can start some place somewhere. Trust is a two way street and your interest in this alliance interests me. I am, I assure you madamoiselle, quite full of Quid and Pro. Did you have something specific you were looking for?"

He eyes the gem, quite interested. He grins widely as he considers what it does. He nods, "I do admit I have a certain perverse pleasure at seeing you wield this." He takes something from a holster that didn't seem to be there from behind his back, "Refueling this is a b..pain in the ass. But it's good for a few hundred shots. Shoot someone with this...they lose gravitic connection to the earth for about a half an hour. I bet your sorcerous foes can't counter that..." he grins.

Circe has posed:
"You want more gorillas? Do you have a place to house them? It is a trivial matter for me to make more of them. I could stroll down the street making them for you. I only ask you not leave them about. They might go looking for ways to undo the change, and though they are rare, one might discover it." She gives a little shrug. "But we could make a few dozen more gorillas for you sometime, if there were a location for them to be safely stored." given the way the girls here are regarding him, they seem to be quite well-adjusted.
She wrinkles her nose at the gun. "I suppose." She agrees. "It might come in handy." She allows. "Hardly my style." She must admit. "But that is the point." Circe slowly comes around to the idea. "I will use it in the spirit it is offered, Grodd. I thank you for your generosity." She recrosses her legs, in a demure yet calculated manner as she regards Grodd with a critical eye. "What do you get out of re-establishing the legion?"

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "I have been expanding the bolt holes of the city every since I took it over from that idiot Solovar. I have 20 now, and my intelligence service is getting better all the time. I don't have a 'town' per se yet, but could probably get one...I will need to for future plans for certain. I will make sure they are supervised." He grins, "I don't mind taking more. Magically transformed with a technological red herring appeals to me." He is definitely regarding them just as much as they regard him. But he also regards her own stems, cautiously since she is a peer. He appreciates her more like a painting than an object of conquest. "Doom is a francise. He's well known and public. If I increase its power, until Doom comes back and insists on running it into the ground, it gives a public face major villains can flock too. The Legion of Grodd doesn't have the same ring to it. And Doom himself set it up more as an association. I can make that happen. I love alliances. It's the best way."

Circe has posed:
"You get yourself a bit of room for them, and i will provide you with some apes.' Circe says quietly. She considers her plate. "I will see to it they are loyal, though some will be too strong-willed to be as happy with their new lives as these girls were. But they were young and vapid." Circe gives a soft, almost disgusted sigh. "But I wager those might be more fun for you, regardless?' She asks. Her eyes regard him for a long moment. "Once i have provided them, you will provide me with sufficient technology that I can take and transform technicians and have them monitor these so-called heroes and gather information on my behalf?" She smiles at him. "You will not be disappointed. Perhaps a few models thrown in? Or is there a particularly vexing troublemaker who might make a better ape than she does flitting about in a cape and tight pants?" She makes the enticement a little greater.

She must really want to have a better grip on technology if she is looking to trade like this.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd arches an eyebrow at the trade off, "Well I'll definitely take it. It advances every agenda I have, though when you say technology do you mean more monkeys? Why not apes? Better in very conceivable way. I have several technologies in mind and some in blueprint form. I sometimes like vapid but I agree it is never as appealing," he smiles and winks, "as elegance. As far as a few heroes....my needs are well taken care of in that area but I'm not ungreedy. Can you tell me a bit more about a specific need you have? Just monitoring a lot or well monitoring a little? Both are solvable but use different technologies

Circe has posed:
Circe regards the gorilla with a mind that is some ways is more evolved than hers for a long moment. She pulls in a breath, then slowly releases it. "In the interest of furthering our alliance, I will tell you what I desire."

Circe explains it in the vaguest of terms."I want to corrupt their information streams. I want to take their tenuous ties that bind and share information, and fill them with enough disinformation that their alliances begin to unravel. They coordinate and share over the internet. They have information brokerages. I want to corrupt that stream of information, use it to push them into traps. Turn a few of them into my agents and pets, and watch them turn on each other.
"They are not heroes. They are merely sheepdogs. They are territorial. Only the best amongst them rise above their Alpha male claptrap and share their information. Eliminate their coordination even as we become better coordinated? Each of us involved will benefit from their disarray." She gives a long sigh. "A man who could help me do that? He would be⦠very richly rewarded. I am an implacable foe. I remember my slights, and I never forgive an injury. I am an equally⦠giving partner."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "It so happens I have an asset who is perfect for that. We'll need to be careful. Havok is fine as long as no one dies; but neither of us are really well..." he grins, teeth showing, "Doom, are we?" He seems to watch when she breathes a lot. But doesn't stare. "I also agree. I'm big on revenge. Personal. Long planned. The kind that ruins. It's fun. I think if you are careful, you could harm them indefinitely. It would take finesse but as I can see here you are easily capable of that. Yes, let me look into it."

Circe has posed:
Let him look. She'll even recross her legs, letting her slit dress fall open to reveal a little leg. So what if he wants to look at her. "You give me a way to feed false information to them as a whole, and we will all profit. Imagine if they were expecting just some jumped up thugs at a location, but were instead confronted by your powerful mind, my eldritch might, and dozens of my bestiamorphs. The ones we let escape, we would provoke their suspicions with a little.' she wriggles her fingers. "Of our joint manipulations? Have them start questioning both their intelligence and their information. Begin to suggest they are betrayed from within. Let their little territories and personal dramas get in the way." She shakes out her long, purple hair. "I find the very idea to be⦠exciting and full of promise." circe gives Gross a regal nod. "Work on it, and we'll speak again say in a week or two? I will contact you, and if you like, maybe i will bring you a few more⦠presents?"

She shamelessly uses word choice and body language to entice. They both benefit from the idea. What does it matter to her?
